Went in over a month and a half ago and bought a mattress and adjustable base. Trying to help my wife out with our new baby with breastfeeding. Was told 2-3 weeks at most. I understand back orders due to Covid and under staffing with manufacturing or whatever so I was just happy to get the bed. Well it was dropped off a month and a half later and it was the complete wrong mattress. I called and they had no idea what went wrong. Heard everything from something went wrong on star fine furniture side, to this mattress is what I ordered, while I was looking at both mattress and receipt. They said that they would “possibly” reach out to me when the correct mattress would be in and delivered in another 2- 2 1/2 weeks. Didn’t hear one thing about making it right. Incredibly frustrated with this whole process and the customer service. Will not be buying from here again and I suggest you do the same if you want decent customer service or to receive your correct furniture, the one you actually intended to buy not the one they deliver, in a timely manner.

Great deals on Memorial Day Sale! Staff were very nice and helpful.Update.. love seat purchased on Memorial week was delivered damaged, Im still waiting for an replacement, they will not give refunds, now they are saying it might be in till December, 8 months is a long time to get your furniture!

This store has a great collection of furniture.The staff is very knowledgeable here. They know how to decorate and organize furniture appropriately. This helped when my wife and I were unable to decide on some furniture decisions.The staff also arent car salesman that try to up sale you. Theyre honest and they will work with you if youre on a budget. They also give honest answers to your questions.Finally, they have had inventory even with the covid crisis putting a strain on their freight logistics. I have been able to stop by every other month over the last year with my wife because of this.This is my favorite furniture store. Nothing comes close. My wife and I will be coming back here for years.

My husband was scheduled for a very serious surgery that would require him to sleep in a semi reclining position and he would be unable to get up the stairs to our bedroom when he returned home.. I had 4 days to find a reclining sofa to accommodate his needs. Connie and Justin worked with me for 2 hours to find the sofa that would fit his specific needs. Damon Brown, the warehouse manger agrees to deliver the sofa on the day I needed it there and Justin waived the delivery fee. Thanks to them, we have one less issue to worry about. The shopping and buying of a king mattress and platform was great sales associate recommended a mattress protector and delivery and setup which we agreed on. Day of delivery mattress pad did not show up, so I called and was told I would have to go pick it up at the store. We went to store and got pad, we asked sales associate about getting some off the price because we had to come back and pick it up. Associate stated the manager would have to approve. We asked the manager, Daniel, and he immediately said no. He was told we would add this incident to our review and he said ok. He didn’t seem to care that it was left off delivery and that we had to drive over to pickup just to get the bed ready for use. We were trying to buy local but will not probably shop there again because of the non caring attitude of the manager.

Never left a review in my life but had to for this. I went into the store and did not see anything that I liked but Shawn was SUPER sweet and accommodating and we looked online to see other selections. I chose 1 online and was told it was on back order, chose another one... also on back order. And I really loved Shawn and how she helped me so I looked online AGAIN and finally found one that was in stock. They told me it would be a little delay due to the pandemic and I was okay with that because they said it would be delivered by end of June (I ordered it May 31st). So naturally I call to see when it will be delivered because I had not received any updates and was told that it will now be end of JULY. So I asked if I could just get a refund. They said it shouldnt be an issue but to call tomorrow when their manager Daniel came in. I did and was told I couldnt receive a refund of a 500 dollar deposit because it was a special order that I was not aware of. And to re-select or only get store credit OR wait until AUGUST to receive my couch. So they went from June to July to AUGUST for something they had in stock. I actually cussed Daniel out and I have NEVER done that in my life. But for someone to tell you that you cannot get a refund on an item that youve yet to even receive is ridiculous. Not to mention inconsiderate considering I saved up that money and hadnt worked in 2 months due to the pandemic and Im struggling as it is! Never again! If you buy from star fine please consider going to the one in Galveston their manager was way more understanding and accommodating

Went in with my daughter to look for bedroom furniture and was immediately greeted by dale and instantly made feel uncomfortable just a very strange demeanor he started to make borderline inappropriate comments and couldn’t find anyone else to help instead so we left.. will maybe try again another day.Showroom is beautiful so for that I AM GIVING 2 stars.

Connie is amazing. I really enjoyed working with her as she’s funny, she’s honest, and she is very well spoken. I will say I didn’t go with Star fine but will say it was hard to not go with them. The time Connie spent between matching colors, giving decorative advice, and overall advice on options makes her amazing at what she does. She has a great eye for great detail and picked some awesome options. The whole time I never felt pressured and again it was hard to go another route. If you need anything ask for Connie!

My wife and I had been talking about getting some recliners for a while. We stopped at Star Fine just to look at furniture. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Dale Mathena. He showed as some chairs, had as try them and explained the features and benefits of each chair. He was very helpful with no pressure. Dale was very professional but also very personable. We also met Dan the store manager. We decided on a set and got a great deal. It was a great shopping experience.

Perfect furniture store great polite customer service

We just wanted to get some more ideas and take pictures of what may interest us just like we had been doing at several other furniture stores. I do not like to be hovered upon while shopping. However, we were met by a lady named Shawn Elizabeth Reegan, an Interior/design specialist. She listened attentively and immediately escorted us to exactly what we have been trying to describe. The other stores just wanted to follow us around, but she broke down the different fabrics/coverings better than anyone. After a finally made our decision to purchase, she introduced us to the manager and the owner. The store had quite a few other customers but they treated us like we were the only thing that mattered and answered all our questions. We got a better deal and better experience at Star Fine than we have had at other facilities.

Was very impressed with the personal aspect of the store. My design associate was very knowledgeable about available designers. Looking forward to working with them in the future.

Went in to look around because we heard they have a large showroom. We have a whole house that is being completely remodeled, so every room needs furniture. We told the sales lady Emily that was following us around that we would like to look around and if we had any questions we would let her know. She said okay and gave us her card. She then promptly sent her store manager out, Daniel, to ask us the same questions. We again asked him to let us look around and if we were interested we would let him know. We saw several pieces we would have been interested in, but felt uncomfortable because again Daniel stopped us to ask if we found anything we are interested in. We promptly left the store so we could stop feeling harassed. That is not the way to sell something!

Buyer BEWARE buy at your own peril.Purchased 6/27/2018 at the Dickinson store.Our leather furniture was damaged upon arrival the recliner was so badly damaged I refused to let them repair it. It took 3 months to get another recliner. The loveseat was damaged as well but we let them repair it. They did a nice job on the repair of the love seat.Since then we noticed a hole appear in the top of the loveseat & requested it to be repaired 3-4 weeks ago. They still have not contacted me and I have reached out several times.Today we noticed several more places in the loveseat that holes are wearing through.I have owned multiple leather living room suits in my life from multiple different furniture mfg. This furniture is by far the bottom of the barrel.I requested they let us trade in the furniture for something different. The store manager refused.Again TERRIBLE customer service.If I could give negative stars I would give a negative 10 for the service & quality from this company.By the way. This is the first review I’ve ever written,.
