I bought a fixer upper opportunity with little knowledge of what I was getting into. The folks at Motonautica took excellent care of my boat and took time to explain what was going on, what the boat needed and what my options were. I am so happy to have found them and to have had such a great experience through some challenging discoveries along the way.
What can I say? Im a lifetime boater and have sailed half way around the world. I now have a 52 power boat that needs a lot of attention. Up until recently I was able to do most of the work myself. Now that im approaching 70 thats not so easy. Ive never had much luck with so-called marine mechanics, until now. Motonautica (Tony and Sara) have proven to be the ultimate exception. Quality work, top-of-the-line ethics, amazing support staff and reliable. Their policy is to quote worst case $$ which threw me off at first. So far, the actual $$ have been considerably less. Good news is always best with a boat!!! I sincerely recommend these guys for any mechanical issues you may have with your boat. You will be pleasantly surprised.
We have been using Motonautica for a couple of years now and are always pleased with their work. Finding someone to trust with our 1973 S&S-designed Yankee 30 and rebuilt Atomic 4 gas engine has been tricky through the years. With Motonautica, we know we are in good hands. Thanks to you all.
Motonautica have completed numerous jobs on my DD-671 Diesel engines - see below. Both engine oil pans replaced.Heat exchangers removed, cleaned, repaired and re-installed.Generator - major service.New throttle and transmission cables installed.Engine impellers, zincs and belts replaced.Racors cleaned and filters replaced.I will not trust my engine maintenance to anyone else. Their work is always first class and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a top notch company to take care of their engines.Motonautica stand firmly behind the work they do. They take customer satisfaction very seriously indeed. Give them a try - you will not be disappointed.
Very polite and knowledgeable. Best on the lake.
We had an amazing experience with Motonautica Marine Service! Not only are the mechanics super experienced and knowledgeable but they also got the job done in way less time than expected! Very competitive prices as well. Would recommend their services to anyone! Dont take your chances on anyone else.
Mechanics do great work. Very satisfied with final results. There were issues with getting on the schedule, and a few communication issues throughout the process, but Susan worked with me to rectify those issues and get the work completed correctly.
We used Tony to perform a major refresh on our 1992 CAT 3208. He and his crew know how to fix stuff and theyre not afraid of tight spaces! He saw the job all the way through a successful sea trial. I have referred them to friends in Galveston and they were also pleased with their work. Great folks to do business with...stand behind their work. We wiill continue to recommend Motonautica.
I had some severe issues with one of my Caterpillar engines and Motonautica promptly repaired my engine. The work was done professionally and correctly.Their prices and hours seemed reasonable and they tried to keep my cost down while maintaining a high standard of service.I plan on using Motonautica to perform all of my engine maintenance in the future.
Wonderful results! I had all but given up hope that anyone in marine repair world was worth doing business with, but Sara and the folks at Motonautica changed all that! They returned phone calls! They did what they said they would do! They showed up! And best of all, they fixed my engine!
Over thirty years of maintaining and operating several sailboats on the Gulf Coast have convinced me of the challenge in finding competent, reliable resources. Like many of you, Ive had my share of expensive disappointments.Motonautica is a refreshing resource in local marine engine maintenance. Owners/Operators Tony and Sarah ensure that a mechanic shows up as scheduled; the work is performed competently and efficiently; you get a clear explanation of what was done; and the billing is fair and prompt. Altogether, it is a professional operation. I have no hesitation in recommending Motonautica to my friends and continue to do so.
I have had only good experiences with Motonautica and would recommend them many times over to anyone needing help with their small diesel. Tony and Sara, besides being two of the nicest people you will ever meet, also happen to be incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to small diesels. The only downside is because of their great customer service and quality work, they are usually booked out 2-3 weeks for service. But in my book thats a good thing!I addition to incredible service, they also are consistently available by phone and by email for any small issue that may come up. If they can solve it without coming out, they will! Give them a call today and sure you dont have to be towed in by BoatUS tomorrow... (embarrassing).
I’ve lived in Texas for almost 2 years now and have been searching for a reliable mechanic that works on gas boats boats inboard and outboard. I can say with full confidence that I have found that mechanic with Motonautica! They worked on my Kohler generator and was able to diagnose the no start problem with ease! They also did a full service on my dinghy outboard and that too was done perfectly. Another great thing about Moto Nautica is their office staff! They are very knowledgeable and treat their customers with the upmost respect! I highly recommend Motonautica for marine engine services.
Called to get my generator repaired sarah who runs the offce scheduledme 2 weeks later,30 minutes before they were scheduled to arriveshe called and said tony was sick would not be there and she would reschedule, she never called,1 week later I called her back.she then rescheduled me for 2 weeks out again, the morningthey were to come to my boat never showed I called 4 times no call back or answer that afternoon she finally answered the phone and lied and said it was for the next week. thank you for wasting a week of mylife.I was told the office lady is very difficult to deal with, WOW what anunder statment
Tony first worked on my Westerbeke generator, replacing the old coolant tank and pressure testing the heat exchanger. Since it could only be ordered thru Westerbeke, Sarah kept me constantly informed of manufacture status. When the part was scheduled to arrive Sarah contacted me and set up the reinstall appt. ahead of time. Tony painted and reinstalled all parts and the genset looked and ran great. He also did a great job pulling and checking my alternator on my Perkins 4-236 Main and also repainted that. Tony and Sarah are a great time and I would recommend Motonautica marine to all in the future. Thank you for your quality service.Captain Lonnie Briggs
