I scheduled a COVID testing at this Walgreens earlier this month because it was the only pharmacy around my area with any tests. The way it was handled was less than desirable. Not only did they reschedule my appointment, but when I actually went to the reassigned time I was flippantly told they had run out of testing equipment. The pharmacist said they were supposed to be calling and notifying people of this development, but I was neither called nor emailed about it. So I not only wasted my gas, but in a health crisis I was left trying to find another place to get tested. I understand everybody is strained by the pandemic, but the fact nobody was making these critical calls was awful.

Waited for 45 minutes in the pharmacy line behind 2 people. Understand things get busy specifically concerning pharmacy issues but unfortunately the holdup was the COVID vaccine line of people out the door. It would make more sense if they hired additional help to handle this. If not then please respect peoples time that need their medication and let the physician offices know.

1-Star rating because 0-Stars was not an option. My wife ordered an over the counter burn cream our Dr recommended and when i came to pick it up the lady running the front cash register called her Supervisor to see if he knew where it would be. I waited a very long time (mind you I was the only person in the store) and when he arrived the cashier said i had a question for him. He put his hands on his hips, rolled his eyes then looked up at the ceiling and let out an overly exaggerated sigh. I have never had anyone be so rude to me. I told him never mind, he was obviously too busy to help me and told the cashier id come back later.Store # 07178Cashier was VERY nice and apologeticSupervisors Name was Tyro. He has no business in a customer service capacity much less Supervising people. He should be fired!

I hate when doctors send prescriptions here by mistake. They always make so many errors, even sent me home with wrong prescriptions. They can be rude and wait times have been as long as an hour!

The Walgreens pharmacists are helpful and attentive. They worked over several days with the drs office to obtain husbands rx. The store is clean, organized, and attendants are very helpful. Very conveniently located at 646/517 intersection.

I haven’t ever had a problem with Walgreens. They have been helpful in the cosmetics dept. I haven’t had any trouble with in the photo dept. and the Pharmacy drive thru is as quick as going in sometimes. Western Union is always used in my family and they have that too.Thank YouSincerely,Georgia

Assistant manager working morning of 12-9-2018 came out from the back to answer a question he immediately started getting a attitude even when uh was trying to explain myself he got increasingly more aggressive. I live very close to this store and after being treated with such disrespect from a assistant Manager I have decided to never come back t ok this store. The cash register attendant was also very unprofessional when I requested for the manager she replied I dont know why he going to tell you the same thing . This is unacceptable behavior for such a large company the assistant Manager had the worst attitude of any manager I have come across in Walgreens I feel like he tried to intimidate me with his tone and disrespectful comments / gestures. I hope that Walgreens takes more time in training their managers because assistant managers like this one will run customers off rather then invite them in. In this situation a simple explanation and respectful interaction would have gone along way unfortunately this assistant Manager does not have that ability.

Just left this store. Manager only allowed me to buy 4 laundry detergents that were on sale. There was no signage stating this rule, nor could she show me ANY policy or anything from the company that you are only allowed to purchase 4 of the same type of product. Not only did she deny the sale, she was not personable at all and I had to lean over the counter just to hear what she was saying to me. No apology, no explanation. My whole family shops here regularly and I will not be returning. The walgreens in Friendswood is staffed with courteous humans who know the meaning of customer service.

The pharmacy is so ridiculously slow. Every time I try to go through the drive-thru its the same thing. I dont understand why they cant get their pharmacy in order. It would probably be better if they werent so damn greedy and actually hired enough people to keep up. They damn sure cant use the excuse that they dont have justification for hiring extra people.

JJ at the front counter refused mine and my mother’s service since we “were cutting in line” the gentleman in front of us was still looking at candy and drinks so we figured he wasn’t done finalizing his purchases, as my mother and I were ready to go. But JJ rudely said “UH HU he was next” I took a step back but JJ continued to argue. After he helped the gentleman in front of us he said “I can help you NOW” rudely when my mother or I didn’t move he called for the lady behind us and proceed to make smart comment about us “I’ll help you instead because they want to act like that”. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I’m not from Texas or even close to around here and they few times that we are down here this is always mine and my family’s Walgreens of choice. But not anymore!!!!

It doesnt matter what time of the day it is, conducting any type of business in the pharmacy department takes an inordinately long amount of time. We have regular prescriptions filled and it really makes no difference if you drop off and pick up later or conduct the transaction all at once...you can expect no less than a 20 minute wait before you even get to the counter. I could understand if there were customers ahead of me in line however most times there is only one. 20 minutes......every time......

I started coming to this pharmacy because CVS lost the Tri-Care prescription contract and Wal-Greens picked it up. The difference in service between the CVS in Santa Fe and the Wal-Greens at 646 is night and day. The CVS ran fairly efficiently. I loved their SMS text service that let me know when my prescription was ready. Wal-Greens on the other hand seems to be nothing less than unorganized chaos. Its amazing the Pharmacist gets anything done because she is constantly being called to the front counter for consultations. Really?? Does every Tom, Dick, and Harry need an individual consult with the Pharmacist? At least do it an area away from the front counter (like every other pharmacy). Bottom Line: The place Sux.

The pharmacy is so. slow. Ive never experienced a slower pharmacy. Expect to wait AT LEAST 15 minutes. If theres more than two people ahead of me I dont even try to pick up or drop off.

The pharmacy always runs at a snails pace. The are understaffed and the lines are always long. I was here today to pick up a prescription and there were 4 cars in the drive thru 6 people in line AND one person handling everything. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.
