10/10 would recommend. Worked with David in sales. They got me a thought trade in value over the phone for my truck. Went in and they offered me more then they said originally. Picked my new truck up and the sun roof and back door didn’t open but the next day they came and got it from my job site and took care of it. Will be returning when the time comes!

From the Owner Mr. Porter on down this dealership is ALL class. They have a great selection of high-quality vehicles and are very straightforward with pricing for both their vehicle and yours. That pricing is very good on both accounts too. You will be well-treated with respect and courtesy & the people at this dealership I met all were very pleasant. Ive been in all the mainstream Dickinson dealers & they are a cut above. My children and I needed a ride & unbelievably it was the Owner himself who offered to drive us. That DOESNT happen most places. He is such a nice man! My family & I highly recommend Porter Toyota/Honda. Excellent!!

Bought the car there. Got a great deal that they honored. Felt they could of helped out the trade in value because it was in great condition but only got rough trade nada value. Got free oil change with purchase since I was there with the old car getting an oil change. I put snow tires on new car well I thought it would snow but got that wrong. I noticed the tires they took off have a different wear pattern so I request an alignment with my free oil change. They only checked the alignment. They did not have time to fix it. Now I have to drive an hour back next Monday for the same reason I was there today. When a customer says they need an alignment maybe you should plan on fixing it right away. Thanks for costing me more time and money.

What a great dealership! My salesman David was awesome! No pressure at all. They found me a vehicle in my price range and it was what I was looking for. I recently purchased a vehicle from here, and I have to say my experience was great! I had to come after work during the week to test drive the vehicle from out of town, and they were willing to stay a little late to make my deal happen. RT was my salesman & I would highly recommended him. He was very genuine, and easy to work with. The car I chose had some cosmetic issues, and he was willing to negotiate on the price so that I had enough room in my budget to make the necessary repairs. They even delivered my new car right to my driveway so that I didnt have to make a long trip again the next day with my busy toddler.

Make sure you get a quote on service before your vehicle is taken. We normally pay $75 for an oil change. This time around, we got the oil change and asked for a diagnostic on a dash light and after a 2 hour wait, they come back with a $200 bill. Its sad because theyve always done really good work on our vehicles.

A friend bought a car from Dan Porters. They told her that her payments would be roughly $400. When she received payment info later they are over $600. They refuse to work with her and have since been so rude. Completely screwed her over. Go anywhere else.

Bought a used truck from them. Gave me the truck with an almost empty tank. Asked about it and they gave me $10 worth of gas. When your spending 30k Id expect it to be full. The truck also had not been detailed. It seemed like they wanted to get me in and out. I did get a good deal though so in the end it wasnt to bad dont think Id use them again.

Very high pressure environment. I found a used vehicle I was interested in.They asked me literally more than 10 times to take it for a test drive, and I said no thanks, I just want to go over numbers. Common, just take it for a spin they said over and over again. Salesman wasnt willing to negotiate on price unless I test drove the vehicle first.

Horrible service. Never responded to me about their 2014 Toyota Tundra that just got sold. Email them from car gurus and personally email them a month ago and they never responded about the car and got an email that it just got sold today. I don’t recommend it. They don’t care about you. They only care about locals. Don’t buy from here. I don’t recommend it.

Went in to see if they had a wheel lock for my lug nuts. Owning a Lexus that I didnt buy there, it is a TOYOTA. Maybe the parts guy forgot that. Instead of having one of the guys from the shop come out and match the lock to the lug nut, he said oh we have to special order that it will take a month and a half and cost about $45. Not so when I went to my Lexus dealership it was $22 and walked out the door in 5 mins. Lost my business. AND it gets better...I also was told by a mechanic there that my 2008 Rav4 does NOT have a transmission filter and also by the parts lady...um....STUPID IT DOES...

When the technician found wheel bearings that needed replacing in my Honda CRV, I was given a 2017 Rav4 to use over the weekend. I guess they didn’t think that I would be safe doing a 180 miles round trip to where Im staying.Very courteous, efficient, and conscientious people at the service department, especially Preston, the service manager for my csr.5 ☆☆☆☆☆ company!

Oil changes run high here. They are about $78. When I can go to Lithia Toyota in Billings for $35. They also told me that I needed to get a tire rotation for $30. I told them that was fine and then after the whole thing was done. They told me I needed new tires. I would of probably would not of did a tire rotation if knew I needed new tires. They also told me I needed an alignment for $99. I went down the street to NWtires and had them look. They said that I didnt need an alignment. Needless to say I bought my tires from NWtires. Also when I was looking at buying my Toyota from Dan Porters they tried to pressure me in buying the vehicle. Im not to impressed and I dont think I will be going back.

Was told to put down a retainer when we told them we didnt have great credit. We were then told if it didnt work out they would give it back if it was just not able to be done. They couldnt finance us later and then chewed us out claiming they werent paying us back for out down payment..... Bunch of snakes

Seriously the WORST car repair experience I have ever had. I came in just to get my breaks looked at because they had previously replaced my brake master cylinder and after about two hours of sitting in the lobby I ask how much longer it would be and they tell me We dont know, we will have to order parts, you cant drive your truck because we have taken apart your brakes. At no point did they come out and have the conversation of Hi, sir we found the issue sorry we missed it the first time you came in, but we will have to take your truck apart again. Would you like to do it now or a make an appointment? I regret that I didt tell them hell no and to put it back together on the spot because Im leaving, but unfortunately I made the mistake of trusting them to touch my truck already.Next they couldnt even give me quote of what it would cost, just said it will take about an hour, no two hours is that alright? When I asked about a dollar amount the bald white guy who I suspect is the service manager but he never introduced himself said I will call you tomorrow when I look up what the part will cost. No call from him all week, mind you this was Tuesday as well. Next they couldnt even tell me what was wrong with the vehicle (and they still havent even after I asked for them to call me with an answer) they said just something was wrong in the brake booster. However when your brake booster goes out your brakes become stiff and very difficult to press not soft and spongy and press down with the weight of a feather like what I was coming in for, symptoms directly related to losing pressure in the brake master cylinder, not the brake booster.During all this my wife and kids are waiting for me to pick them up because this was only suppose to take an hour, so I had to somehow now go get them across town and they gave me their POS shop car which turned out to be a DEATH TRAP! After I went through the pain in the ass of switching my two kids car seats, while I was driving away I noticed I was having a hard time with the gas pedal but then when it came to the brakes I had to SLAM the pedal and when I say slam I literally mean come off my ass and press as hard as I can with my leg while smashing my back into the seat as I clench my teeth and death grip the steering wheel because Im about to crash into the car stopped in front of me and the car STILL didnt even stop! The cheap after market garbage floor mat was balled up under the pedals! Im lucky I took the back way and didnt hop on the interstate to find that out.HOWEVER, after I picked up my wife and kids and did get on the highway, no BS I literally did a 180 degree spin on the freeway across from Menards! Im sure any married man can imagine how irate his wife would be to turn in a nice new full sized truck with brand new snow tires on it that we bought the week before and to be given a 1998 P.O.S. Toyota Carolla that reeks of cigarette smoke after a blizzard when there is over 2 feet of snow on the ground. Imagine now what I had to listen to after her and her kids just did a 180 on I-94 for the entire rest of the week when she refused to leave the house in that death trap. I just cant believe that in Western ND during the snowiest Winter in the last decade, that anyone could be so inconsiderate to not realize that if someone needs a truck to drive 40 minutes into another county to visit your shop, that it is not acceptable to give them a POS with bald tires and less than 5 inches of clearance to drive back home.So on Friday I call to find out what is up with my truck because they still havent called to tell me what exactly was wrong with the brake booster or more importantly what it was going to cost me and when I could pick it up, and THEY STILL DIDNT KNOW! NO Quote, No Nothing! Finally I find out a week later that its going to cost $362 for a brake booster I never needed! And how the guy on the phone worded it too made it sound like ransom. It will cost you $362 IF you want to pick it up.

Service Department is TERRIBLE. My car was running rough and showed VSC OFF VSC TRAC MAINT REQD CHECK ENGINE lights on the dash. I went to NAPA and bought Bosch spark plugs after speaking with a mechanic friend of mine. After changing the spark plugs it still wasnt running good. I decided to take it to a dealership the very next day (Wednesday) and let the professionals work on it. I spoke with Jeremiah at the desk and told him i had just changed the spark plugs so i was sure that wasnt the problem. Thursday AM i got a call from Jeremiah who said his technician was sure that i had installed the wrong brand spark plugs and if we just put a different brand spark plug it would fix the problem. I was skeptical but said to go ahead with the work. Then skip to Monday AM my wife ask if id heard anything from the dealership, I said i had not and they would call when it was fixed. She called them and spoke with someone who was confused as to what was going on but he would check on it. At 3 PM i recieved a call from Jeremiah who said the car was ready and had been since Friday. We have 3 kids and i work weekends so it was a huge hassle only having 1 vehicle and trying to shuffle around in 1 car. It would have been great to have known it was done Friday. We asked Jeremiah why we never got a call saying our car was done. He blamed it on miscommunication within their shop and was unapologetic and dismissive. We paid $282 for new spark plugs. got our keys and left. When we started the car it immediately showed MAINT REQD on the dash. Tuesday my wife drove to a doctors appt. in Bismarck. She called me around noon she and our daughter were stranded in Bismarck with ALL the lights back on the dash. I called the service manager Preston who was VERY RUDE and all he said was. We fixed it and all the lights were off the dash so theres nothing we can do, youll just have to bring it back in. We will never step foot back into their dealership again. These people are real slimeballs. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

To the lug nut problem just because you have a Toyota it dont mean all dealerships will have the parts even if the sell Toyotas lug nut locks are not in that big of demand think about. Your car is a Lexus not a Toyota that you need to get from a Lexus dealer
