We bought the vehicle from Virginia. Yes, long ways from Texas. He and management were able to work a reasonable price for our vehicle and find a transporter as well. We got our in no time. It was so easy!
Process was easy. It started with Trey our salesman who set up the appointment. We were early but that didn’t phase him and he greeted us like long lost family. Well everything was as stated and we decided to buy the vehicle. Again Trey made the initial paperwork process easy. Was done we were introduced to John to finalize the financing. Again great service and expert care. No problems and no pressure throughout. It is easy to see why Gay is a local institution in the Houston Galveston area and has been in business for so long. Customer care and treatment. No high pressure. True caring professionals.

This past Friday I went in looking for my first new car and I came out with a beautiful 2022 Kia Soul! It has everything I wanted. Christian really helped me out by addressing all of my concerns and explaining a lot of the features both the car and the dealership offer. He was patient and got me the best deal he could in the current microchip shortage situation. If you go to this dealership, ask for Christian! I would highly recommend him. It is nice to know I have someone I can count on at the dealership for keeping my car well taken care of.
Dee was our sales representative. We first communicated by phone and set a time to view the car. He was great and really eager to help us negotiate pricing and made sure the car was cleaned, buffed and perfected before we took it home. I recently purchased a used vehicle from here and had a very pleasant experience. Cameron Cole was my sales person and he was very informative and understanding. He worked around my schedule and made sure to set up convenient times for us to meet up. He wasn’t aggressive in the sale but he showed he cared about getting me into a car that fit me and my day to day routine. If you go to this dealership make sure to request him because he will make the process so much easier!
The “buying a car” experience here was NOT painful. We had a knowledgeable, friendly salesperson who listened to our needs and supported us throughout the entire process. She answered all our questions and had a hands-on tutorial to use the technology and learn about the car before we left.
They were very friendly. I was not pushed to buy. The sales man was honest and very respectful. The whole process was as smooth as butter. I will be going there to buy my next car and already have referred three family members at it has only been three days.
Horrible. They have not returned my calls for over a week and I have had no update or communication about my car’s maintenance. I had to physically come in the store to get answers, and when I got there I was not acknowledged for the first 15 minutes and had to walk around to find someone. Where the hell are the managers?Once there, I was told they have all the parts and should be ready in a few days… my subsequent calls to verify this were not returned. The timeline has exceeded that given by my insurance and my rental coverage is out, so I do not have a car. I asked about a loaner vehicle, and was basically told they don’t have the capacity or resources to help.In all honesty, I am growing very concerned about the quality of work done on my car. If this is how this facility conducts business, and their mechanics are a reflection of the front office, I feel my concerns about car safety are justified.If you read this please contact me! I chose this facility because it had decent ratings, but now I cannot see how anyone would rate this above a one star.- Tim
Car shopping has never been something I’ve enjoyed because of the reputation of the salesmen twisting your arms and haggling you to make a purchase. I hate to feel pressured like that, but here Steve and Dave were absolutely laid back and friendly. They let me take my time and when it came to actually making the purchase and didn’t pressure me whatsoever. That was the most pleasant car-buying experience and I recommend them if you’d like to work with people who actually understand how to treat people in the business. Steve and Dave are awesome and if I have to come back, I know where to go.
I came in and bought my Kia from Austin Demott. He provided me with great customer service. I called ahead and he had the car pulled around and ready to go before it got there. There was no pressure and the price was great. Other dealerships had added “market adjustments” fees along with others, but here I didn’t have to deal with any hidden fees. Would have given 5 stars but drove in with my family (3yrd old and 8 mnth old) 4hrs from out of town. All numbers were already agreed on and just needed to sign and get out. They took 3 1/2hrs to get me to finance and out the door!!!! Why would it take that long if there was nothing to negotiate and you already knew I was coming?! Least to say that the rest of our day went out the door and couldnt even make a nice family trip out of it.

We are 4 hours away so originally we were told they could meet with us half way. When they said they couldnt we let that slide. Our salesman Trey also texted me stating there was 85%-90% tread left on the tires. When we got there the front tires had 60%-70%. We were upset that this dealership told us one thing but it happened to be another. Trey later apologized because he was going off of what he was told. He was actually good to work with. My problem is with the new manager Josh. When we had an issue with the tires he stepped in.#1 he could not take ownership of their mistakes. #2 he did not apologize. #3 he did not offer anything to fix the situation. I asked him if he could lower the price based on the tires. He couldnt give me direct answers other than circling with his weak rebuttals on, they will honor the price they have now. I told him I was very surprised his dealership got great reviews the way theyre handling this situation. He walked away and said if we leave a bad review we should leave and he doesnt want us to buy the car (thats been sitting on their lot for almost 2 months).Josh, be glad my fiance wanted that car because I wouldve left. Be a man, take responsibility and set a good example for your sales department. You should have apologized and offered something. If you cant bring down the numbers any further at least offer a gift card or something for your dealership making mistakes. Get creative, youre a sales manager. This was not about the money. This was all principle. You need more training, and some adjustments on your morals & values. We did you a favor by buying a car nobody in your area wanted. Dont focus so hard on your profits and ego that you forget how to treat your customers.Now Im not saying this is a terrible dealership. Some of the other people we met there were great. But our experience with Josh didnt make us feel as excited about the new purchase on our 4 hour drive back home.

At first I was a little hesitant on getting the car just because I had my mind set on a Honda Accord but Pat got us hooked up with a new Kia K5 LSX! Friendly service, no intimidation!Editing this review. It has now been 3 months since purchasing the vehicle. I was advised my purchase came with the first 2 oil changes free. Now that I’m at the service center I find that is not correct and that I was lied to.Thankfully the gentleman that checked me in assisted with bringing the cost down. He is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. I would not recommend you buy a car from here unless you can double check and verify everything before you sign your name.Also would like to mention when I first got here, two people saw me clearly needing assistance and decided not to help. Shout to the gentleman who pointed me in the right direction because the first two looked me in the face and then ignored me. It’s a shame that once you get the car attitudes change because when I was putting my name down to buy it mostly everyone was in your face A+ customer service.

From the moment I walked on the lot I explained to the salesperson that I was pre-approved from my credit union. In the end the car was a little over my approval amount and they said they could contact my credit union to ask for extra approval. Of course he filled out a loan application for me, but the salesperson specifically stated they were only sending it directly to my credit union only to ask for a little higher approval. They were not suppose to apply for a new loan. Today, I got an alert from my credit monitoring. They in fact did run my credit. When I contacted the sales person he stated his manager said they have to run credit on everyone to verify identity. This is false. I spoke with my credit union and they stated it is false. They flat out lied. I had an appointment to go back Monday so they could call my credit union, but I will be going to another dealership that says they don’t need to run my credit because I have financing.
Customer service is horrible and waist of time. I was standing there looking at a vehicle for over 20 min and no sales person bother to even ask if i needed help. This place had about 15 or less cars in the lot. I would not recommend this dealer at all to anyone.

The experience started out well. We were in a tough spot and Rene and the team there were very helpful. Unfortunately I was unable to locate my Social security card and had to go online and have anotber one sent to me (#covidissues). I took the replacement confirmation up to the dealership where they seemed to understand it could take 2 weeks for the card to arrive. Then the texts started. Did you get it yet? How about now? When can you have it here? Is it here yet? So I was willing to let go of the fact that they never returned my eztag that I was told they got off and were holding for me. I explained that I was working 2 full time jobs one of which is as a respiratory therapist in a covid heavy hospital. The hospital job is night shift and weekends. My other job is high school biology teacher. Once I received my new card I let them know and told them I would have it there Monday after I woke up. Then it was Ok what time do you think that will be. I get they needed it for whatever reason. It was a joint loan and they had all of the other persons stuff. This borderlines on harassment and I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.
Typical car purchase. Had to wait 40 min on finance manager who onky showed us several purchase prices which only included extended warranties. Then he included $1100 in dealer prep fees not mentioned qhen we were negotiating the price with the salesman. Lastly, car supposedly cleaned and serviced before.selivery but back seat floor had stains. My fault for not checking their work.

Both my aunt and stepfather have purchased their vehicles here and I know why. All of the staff my fiancee and I spoke to were super nice and friendly. Everyone was very helpful, especially the gentleman helping us with the sale and the woman in financing. I only wish I could remember names, Im terrible about it. The sales department at Gay Kia is great! Unfortunately, the service department is horrible. I took my car in for an oil change and fluids were checked off as being topped off and yet they were still low. Brakes not checked, then they went out while on vacation. Have started going to Fort Bend Kia where the service department has been outstanding. Won’t buy another car from Gay Family due to the service department.

Came in got a chance to look around before anyone approached us. (Which was great) I knew exactly what I wanted so I went straight to look at the cars. We then went inside and Pat approached me and my husband asked us if we been helped we told him No and he told us he will help us. He started asking us questions and before anything else I told him exactly what I wanted. First choice got turned down ( Kia Telluride ) but is ok because I had a second choice (Kia Sorento with captain chairs) Pat was able to show us 2 different ones. Well anyway we went in now to fill out paperwork he was able to show us numbers to make sure they fit our budget and well it did and we began the process and we got APPROVED! The entire process took about maybe 2hrs 3hrs Tops. I loved how smooth and quick the entire process was. Pat was very helpful and very understanding of what I wanted and he was able to get what I wanted. I would recommend 100% and most definitely recommend to anyone!
Service is HORRIBLE, we called and told them it would be an hour and a half to get there, while we have drove an hour and almost there he calls and says “oh there’s someone looking at he car” (keep in mind these people were there 30 minutes before) and the said “oh customers first serve” so not only did you waste our time, but you lied and gave us horrible service.

He reached out to me via a text message after I filled out a form on cars.com that I was interested in a Telluride. I told him what specs I was looking for and he would update me with texts and pictures of the cars they had available that had what I was looking for. Never pressuring me, but always super helpful and positive. It was a truly a great car buying experience!
