As far as esthetics are concerned, this store is well laid out with plenty of room to walk around. However the selection of chocolate is not so chocolate... I get that this is supposed to be an upscale chocolate store but much of the items were either Mars products (stuff that you should have purchased before your trip) or overpriced Godiva branded items. I truly hope this business does well but I dont think their approach to bring in repeat customers is going to work.

I went there yesterday to buy some chocolate for the kids while we were waiting for our next flight. I bought a M&M fan toy that should have a M&M chocolate in it and a kinder chocolate box. We arrived home late yesterday and I didn’t have a chance to check the chocolate at all! But when my daughter requested the M&M chocolate today, I gave it to her and it turned out that there was NO chocolate inside whatsoever! It’s an expensive place and that’s such a ripoff! The least they could do is make sure no one touches the chocolate inside the items their selling! I am very angry about it and I know for sure that I’ll never go there again!! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone at all! You could always go buy chocolate from other stores in the airport... I have pictures and I am not sure how to upload them.

I didn’t know anyone was working the counter because the employee was sitting on a short step-stool behind the counter while resting her arms on an open drawer and texting. Always a sad scene when I land in Detroit and see first hand how horrible the labor standards are.Ps the employee wasn’t injured or suffering from any debilitating disease, necessitating a stool to sit on.

Cashier was super rude and the items available were overpriced.
