Moosejaw is filled with everything you could possibly need for your outdoor adventure and probably has a hundred things you dont need but desperately want 🤣 for real though... The place is really cool, the people are always amazing inside and there is a ton of Detroit and Michigan inspired merchandise. What more could you want??👍

My service dog and I went in to get some gear for my upcoming first hike! They were more than friendly, treated both of us great! But they treated my Zoey like a queen! She’s exhausted from all the pets and love, even got our pic on the wall! 10/10 would recommend!

I walked into Moosejaw for the Lighthouse Lantern. They didnt have it in stock but would ship it to me. The attendant was cool, and laid-back. He stated I should get it in 2 to 3 days. No cost for shipping. This was a Thursday. I expected to get the Lantern on Tuesday before my camping trip on Thursday. Nope! I received it the next day! Friday! Man, that was great service, and the Lantern is so bright. Thank you Moosejaw!10/1/20Just got back from camping in Hocking Hills,OH. This lantern is Awesome! Very bright! Kept it on dim during the evening if we had to get up in the middle of the night. Used it for two evenings, and it still has 4 bars of energy! Oh yeahhhh! A keeper!

They were so helpfull getting my daughter a sleep pad to PCT in california. When it went to wrong address, they re-sent another one immediately. Anya was so grest, keeping track of everything and seemed to be really concerned aboutmy daughter. I wiil definately go there again when I need anything for my camping excursions

Helpful people and they let you browse. I bought an awesome winter coat in May and wore it for the first time Monday.

I got a nice vest. It showed up next day at my house instead of 2 days.

Each personnel working there was super friendly, chill, and helpful. Im not sure if it was because it was Winter Blast or what but Ill definitely be back. Just wish they had more gloves for men, particularly North Face.

Cool little set up, felt like i was walking into a Corkys that only sold clothes, i expected alot more based on what website has to offer. Drove over an hour to take 5 minutes to browse the whole place. I guess Ill stick to the website.

Staff is friendly, and they are covid secure. They carry a variety of clothing, a selection of boots, and smaller odds and ends of gear. However you can talk to them about the products and they can backorder anything into the shop for you!

This shop is on my dog’s preferred walking route, as they welcome him as if he’s a celebrity every time we walk in. It may be weird to say years from now I will have fond memories of an outdoor/camping store in the middle of the city... but I will. I mean, how could I ever forget about a random falcon rescue with one of the staff behind the store? Or and having two dogs obsessed with the humans there? And the random conversations with the always helpful and fun staff? This store and the employees truly help to make the neighborhood a little more awesome!

Extremely helpful, super positive and energetic staff! They didnt have the jacket I needed in stock but they got it ordered for me with no problem. I picked the wrong size at first but they said no problem and were able to order the correct size I needed. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family!

The store packs a lot into a small footprint. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and dog friendly! You can order items through the store if they dont have them in stock and try before you buy. Since Moosejaw is a local company items arrive from their warehouse in a day or two. Parking is tough at this location, but its worth stopping in if youre already downtown.

Ive been to this location twice at the time of writing this review. Its easily accessible from the Windsor - Detroit tunnel. It has been well staffed each time I shopped there. The staff were very helpful and Id describe them as fun-loving and laidback. Anything they dont have physically in store, they can have shipped in. I had them order in a coat in multiple sizes so that I could get the best fit and it arrived to the store very quickly. I would definitely continue to shop here and would also recommend it to others.

A unique place to put an outdoor store in the heart of downtown, but the staff was great and the prices are reasonable.

We stop in as our son used to work at their corporate headquarters.... its a small location but they have a nice selection of urban outdoor wear.

This location is small but theres a men and women section. Its also located right next to the Nike store. This location is right at the corner. Beware that theres construction being done in this area so be careful. This location is down the street from Campus Martius. Theres tons of restaurant and other stores to go to. Also, if you need to go to Wayne State, the Q-Line is available for use. I believe its free until July 1st.

Decent selection of products in store, with the ability to order many more upon request. What stands out is the incredibly helpful staff (think REI level) with an incredibly upbeat attitude! It feels fun coming here to buy stuff!

Always enjoyed Moosejaw, I heard they opened a new store a stone throws distance away, with their higher end products and brands, such as Filson(my personal favorite) Arcteryx, Canada Goose and the like, as always I am greeted with smiling faces and upbeat attitudes, not the annoying type where they hover over your shoulder once you enter the store type, which I find makes me leave the store without buying anything and not returning.As always, I will return to this Moosejaw for my Filsons addiction, thank you.
