I was in an accident and was trying to contact a Chevy dealership to have my truck towed and repaired at Chevy instead of a local shop. I wish had followed my mind. A Davis Brothers tow truck just happened to drive by the scene of the accident and offered to tow my truck to their shop and take care of me. A police officer on the scene vouched for them so I gave them the okay. From there it was a nightmare. The owner promised a $20 per day loaner car because the repairs were taking entirely too long. I went through Enterprise in which they charged $25 per day. I agreed to eat the $5 per day and asked for reimbursement for the $140 for two weeks. Davis Brothers told me they would not reimburse me the $140 because I did not go through their vendor. With all the lies, run around, threats and 4 weeks of BS for a rim, to paint my bumper and a control arm, I was returned a truck with no brakes, no fresh paint on the bumper and an oil stained interior. I asked this idiot why I could not stop my truck and he said, well, you wanted your truck so badly, we couldnt figure out what was wrong with it! He then told me that I need another car and not to depend on just one.I then asked him why my bumper was not painted after a month and after they told me it was done already? He told me, and I am not exaggerating, without the bumper, it would have changed the aerodynamic of the truck so you didnt give us a chance to paint it! WHAT???!! 4 weeks for a control arm, a rim and to paint my bumper??!! I was so upset I called the police on myself because I could not guarantee I was not going to get physical with this fool. I am unsure if this treatment was displayed because I am a woman or if their service is just that horrible. After dealing with these crooks, I had to pay Chevy $560 to repair my brakes not to mention the money I was out of for the rental. My insurance company helped me file an complaint against them. My adjuster was out to Davis Brothers, with a check, the following morning after the accident. There was no excuse for the poor service. My adjuster warned me to never deal with them again. My truck has only seen a Chevy dealer since this horrible experience. I hope with all my heart that this criminal operation folds because screwing hard working people should be a crime.
