Staff was supper nice and friendly. Was able to work with my tough schedule to get me apt . Dr did not rush me, but listened and clearly answered my questions, which were many! Then they gave me all options for glasses and cost based on my insurance. Couldn’t be happier.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t go here! My experience here has been nothing but horrible and stressful!I’ve been to many eye doctors but I’ve never had such a bad experience. They were super unorganized and unprofessional. The equipment is also really old

The service here is very good. Nothing is easy these days. Ivette new to this establishment was still getting trained when I recently visited. She quickly resolved my issue and gave me excellent customer service. Everyone is polite and professional!

Great place, exceptional service, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Ever felt like you had so many questions and you were given the textbook answers... well not here. I walked out knowing and understanding everything related to my eye exam thanks to Dr. Ivanova. I was given her full attention, and not once did I feel like my appointment was rushed. Highly recommend it! And their selection of frames is amazing!

I visited this center for the first time few weeks ago and it will definitely not be my last! Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Shout out to Iva, who is the reason me and my husband to visit this eye care center!There is an incredible variety of frames to choose from for any budget and style.Most comprehensive eye exam Ive had in a while! They explained what they were doing and most importantly WHY!! When it came time to look at frames so many of them were helping and giving an honest opinion! They accept BlueCross BlueShield and are totally able to stay within your budget! Great place, great people, great glasses!! Im definitely only going here from now on! Fantastic place. No issues whatsoever with staff, and had a friendly conversation with them. Glad theyre taking the necessary precautions due to Covid-19 by constantly sanitizing and cleaning everything that people interact with and sit on. They keep people moving to make sure theyre at a safe enough distance from others. They are very knowledgeable and highly recommend for anyone!

The whole process was wonderful! From the beginning, the check-in was easy and the staff is very friendly. I had a short wait for the doctor and my pre-check went smoothly. The techs explained everything before we started and made the process easy to understand. Dr. Nakhlis was professional and kind. The results were communicated clearly and she spent extra time explaining my options. I highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a great experience.

Talk about a horrible experience. 2 hours in a eye doctor with no dilation since I needed to schedule a separate appointment. Usually dilation is done in the same appointment but no they wanted to upcharge me 40 bucks to do it same day when its already included within my 20 dollar copay. Who has time to come back a different day and pay another co-pay.If it was gonna be an additional 40 charge for this special dilation why not tell me upfront prior to making an appointment? I wouldnt have chose the place then! Who wants to send extra money or come back again? I give my concerns to one of the women and shes says if Im unhappy just put a review on Google then. Instead of making it right? What type of response is that?So covid is full force and it was at least 5 different customers in a 900sqft(roughly) place with 4 different technicians and 1 doctor. We played musical chairs throughout the appointment. They said they were sanitizing but I highly doubt it the number of customers was in the place and how we kept switching rooms.I finally get to see the doctor DANA after 1.5 hrs in the docyors office and shes super rude. Asking about my contact use and if I wore them overnight I said sometimes when I get lazy so she suggested 1 month leases. I said thanks for the suggestion. So she goes to get me a sample which she later comes back to say they didnt have any. I said arent we supposed to go over pricing and which lenses I want or if I opted for glasses depending on my insurance? She said OMG ARE YOU MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR MONEY. Talk about rude. I just asked if I could go over pricing and if I still wanted contacts or just doing glasses in general before you giving me samples for something I dont needed. Mind you a dont even have glasses at home henve why Ive been wearing my contacts overnightI wanted to purchase 6 months supply of contacts and 2 pair of glasses.. they lost out on a good customer that has 5 people in her family that she was going to refer to this place..Then the male front office comes in small exam room after the doctor leaves the room to give me prices on a year worth of contacts. no info on glasses or if I just wanted a 6 month supply. All on on small sticky note. At this point I just paid and walked out. Usually i just see the doctor, come out to talk to a technician while they go over prices on if i wanted contacts or glasses and give me sample. What an cringe worthy experience.Talk about a bad experience and I left out with not being able to order glasses and contacts. I do not recommend these bad practices.

The greatest optometrist place I have ever been at. The doctor is amazing! She understand what she is talking about and will get you out of the door with a pair of new glasses in no time. Great selection of frames. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Well organized office. I would recommend this place to any and all that are interested in getting a pair of glasses.

I would like to start off saying that I usually have never enjoyed going to the eye doctor. It has always felt like a tedious task of me paying to be moved on an assembly line of machines and handed a prescription at the end. A family friend recommended that I try Des Plaines Eyecare Center, and that she had a wonderful and informative experience. Boy was my friend right! From the front staff being so friendly, kind and, gracious and welcoming to Dr. Dana who has just such a pleasure to have an experience with. She explained so many different aspects of the eye and how it works and affects our health that I have never heard of from anyone else. Her technicians did a tremendous job explaining the process in great depth. It was a very engaging experience and I even learned a lot from Ivette and Mihaela. I love how everyone knows what they’re actually doing and talking about here; unlike most of my previous experiences at MyEye Dr and LensCrafters. Overall 5 stars to Dr Nakhlis for having such an incredible staff and such strategical training Dr Dana for her sensational wisdom and the staff as a whole!.

I will never ever go back to this place. So disappointed. So unhappy. From the first step inside I was asked a hundred times for my insurance. Also was punished to sign a $100 charge form if I not attend on time my next appointment, which wont happen, never ever. The explanation that I do not have vision insurance and after paid them my regular check up $129 cash, they billed my insurance $353.30 for post surgery check up because thats the only way they can take money.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The doctor took her time to explain everything about my eye health in details. They didn’t rush me to pick glasses, they took their time to help me pick the best pair for me which I absolutely love! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had a prescription and was shopping around to not pay a fortune for glasses. Because my prescription is difficult to make, I was turned down by a big box place optical department because their lab couldnt make the glasses I needed. Des Plaines Eye Care had a reasonably priced frame that met my need, and their lab could make the difficult prescription lenses. The glasses came in with circular bi-focals instead of the straight line bifocal I requested. A week later I took them back and they agreed they were not what the customer requested and had the lenses replaced. They were professional in taking care of my needs. Ill gladly get glasses there again.Gary
