It was fun but it is a smaller zoo so if your looking for a big one I recommend the Omaha zoo

This used to be a fun gift shop! Now its basically just overpriced stuffed animals!

My son and his wife love this place, They took us there with our grand children and we all had so much fun.

Are you at the Zoo? Do you need a gift for someone that has to do with animals? Is your child demanding a keepsake theyll never look at the day after your visit? Do you have extra money you should be using to pay bills but pushing those to the back of your mind? Then you should absolutely pop in and buy something.

Nice place

It has been ten years since the last time I have been to this zoo. I just went today and it was really nice. One thing I would recommend is misting water for super hot days. Omaha zoo does this and it is great.

Nice,but expensive

Online said it was $12 but we got there it was $14. I felt like I had to pay two extra dollars for exercise.On the real though, it was a cute, quaint zoo. Recommend if youre in the Des Moines area.

I LOVE MY BLANK PARK ZOO!!! IN EVERY WAY. WONDERFUL LITTLE ZOO.

Its a small zoo with a small gift shop. There arent a lot of educational materials or much variety, but is fun for kids and there are plenty of stuffed animals and t-shirts.

We started taking our daughter since she was 2 and she loves it. They have something for everyone and a best way to learn about animals. 😀

Very small zoo and they came and got me while i was inside with my family to move my vehicle. I parked where they told me to. My kids were upset when i returned. The zoo staff had a negative effect on my trip. Some staff was nice, cages were clean, and animals looked happy/healthy.

Very small zoo especially for the price, most exhibits were closed. Cant bring in any outside food or drinks which makes for an expensive visit especially if you are not a member.

Prices are high but well worth it to support a growing zoo

I hav been here before but this day was extra special because I brought my 7yr old son,who was having a really rough start to the day,and also a family friend was visiting and even though he is 50yrs old Hes never been to this zoo,mostly due to financial issues so had thought the zoo a luxury since it can be as costly as a day at Adventureland if ur not careful!Well, I thought,why not scramble money together so all of us could go and I bought the all- included rides for my boy cuz I knew he would have a special day that he and our friend deserved and THANK YOU,Blank Park Zoo for giving us all of that and more:)😊

Best Zoo in Iowa. Zoo Brew nights are great for adults.

I was hoping to buy actual animals from the gift shop but alas they did not sell them there. So instead I was stuck with an overpriced stuffed toy that was not even close to the size of the actual elephant.
