DRIVERS! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.These guys are waste of time and waste of money.For something that could cost $250, these guys charged me $676.21 and the problem is still the same. They could not fixed it. After 30 miles driving I checked my truck and it was still leaking the same.On the invoice they printed $634.97, but when they swiped my card they charged me $676.21. They charged $41.24 just for tax and they did not even told me about that.I felt like my money was stolen.I am a very nice guys and do not wish but for anyone, but for these guys I wish they use this money on medicine.Wish them bankruptcy soon.
My husband and I recently purchased a truck from GATR.The overall experience was wonderful. The comfortable atmosphere and sense of urgency was great.HOWEVER, one front end employee, Matt, nearly ruin the entire experience for us. He is rude, ignorant to customers waiting for service or parts.I am a former Customer Service Educator, and, it is of my opinion, he needs to be heavily schooled in Customer Service or booted to the curb. When a customer spends just one dollar or over $150,000.00 in a store, customer service must be on point and perfect EVERYTIME, NO EXCEPTIONS!! Kudos to Brenda, Kate and Tyler and the boys in the shop.
Very Friendly and Professional people that work there. They explained everything they were doing that was easy to follow and understand. If I am in that area again and need anything, I will go to them! 😁
My volvo de rated and was towed to this location.. night service guy wasnt very friendly at all.. but they looked at the truck two days later.. day staff seemed very friendly. Didnt even know there was a drivers lounge until the last day I was there. Gatr told my company and I that it was bad def and Im all good to go. 6 hours later.. de rated again.. thanks.. now my truck is back at volvo (different dealership) hopefully this one will actually perform a point inspection on the system and get it right the first time. Im very curious on the answers between the two dealerships...

I know a place that takes their trucks there for service and repair. They are lucky to get a service done in two weeks, usually longer! If (usually) repairs are needed, 4+ weeks! Ridiculous! There is no need for that slow of service, none!

Well Gatr strikes again. Another part allegedly not covered under warranty. I have a plan 2 engine coverage. Why are their service advisors so untrained. Its all of them. None of them want warranty work only paid work. This is why i cant buy another volvo. Gatr is one of the worst, bruckners second. Its so hard to find decent shops. Part was covered after verified another volvo and service manager.
Take a turn a hundred miles away from this place. Don’t waste your time...
Had lots of little problems and one big one. While waiting for parts for the big problem they were able to fix all my little ones and cut me a big break on the labor.

I rarely do this, but the service here is so exceptionally poor, people need to know up front. They took a 6 hour job and took 4 weeks to do it. Dont expect a call updating you on your truck, they wont do it. We ended up paying $1000 more for repairs than they quoted us. They lost the key to our truck, so they had to make a spare set, telling us how nice it was for them to do that. Dont bring your truck here unless you absolutely have to. Its like pulling teeth to find out when youll have it back, theyll lose your keys, then charge you way more than you were quoted. We told KJ we wouldnt be back, and you could tell it wasnt the first time she had heard that. Take your truck somewhere else.
This might be a good place to buy a truck or i dont know but for parts and service are the worst,, i lost 2 days because 2 different mechanics misdiagnosed twice on parts they dont stock and needed to be ordered,,, ended up not fixing the problem but either way i had to pay for their mistakes, parts, and sweet fraudulent time,, so i took my truck out of there and search for other mechanics,,, Ill suggest you go somewhere else

If there was an option for no stars i would. Even though they had the part i needed the customer service was horrible. The foul language i heard was uncalled for. Also did not take kindly to the person who put down my boss when they thought i was not listening. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Last time i checked the customer is the one who makes it possible for you to have a job. SHAME ONE YOU GUYS.
Dylan and Mike were great getting us in and out on a NOx sensor issue that downed one of our trucks, even though they were running with a skinny crew on Black Friday. The service department is trying to turn the corner, and with Gary and Dylan in place, I am hopeful.
I have avoided leaving a review for this dealership for a long time. I’m a local guy so I kept giving them a chance over and over to help me keep my truck running. Unfortunately they keep proving me wrong every single time I bring my truck in. Their techs are incompetent and they always, I repeat always miss diagnose the problem. Every time they tell me there’s something wrong that’s going to cost me couple of few thousand to fix I end up getting it done elsewhere for couple of few hundred. I have a lot of friends that are locals and drive Volvo’s and we all share the same opinion. The only thing this place knows how to do is rid you of your hard earned money. I don’t even understand how Volvo allows them to own one of their dealerships. This place is a discrace to a Volvo brand and should be avoided at all cost. I’ve come to a conclusion that I’m better off driving 3-4 hrs to the next available Volvo dealer and pay for a hotel for few days and probably still save money than let these people touch my truck ever again. Please avoid this place as a plague and save yourself a headache and hell of a lot of money. Hopefully Volvo HQ takes notice sooner than later and takes the dealership away from these people.
Great staff here, came by needed 3 doc sensors and needed to know there locations to know they were the right ones, the girl at the parts dept went and got the service tech he showed me them and there locations. And then got the account set up and she gave me a discount on all the parts I purchased! Cant thank them enough definitely coming back!

Dont go here!!! They did work on my truck and didnt even ask me. I brought it in for a overhead and they charge me for a battery issue without even talking to me!!Totally unacceptable and the service writer even argue with me about it!The Gatr in Rogers, Mn didnt even finish putting my truck together when I went there either.Stay far away unless you really need something
The mechanic that repaired my truck was friendly and very knowledgeable everyone inside was very friendly. After about three hours and $1,286.32 I was out the door and on my way

Extremely fast and reliable service. Pulled my truck in for a Ahi module had it done out the door in a few hours. Cliff the service writer had a wealth of knowledge and the mechanic Mike did a amazing fix and even took the time to point out other small problems to pay attention to with out trying to sell the fix. Thank you guys for all the hard work will definitely be back to this location.
If youre looking for Volvo truck repair, this is a good location. Good customer service and drivers lounge while you wait. You must call in and make an appointment for quicker repair time.
Bought a truck there a year ago, had to take it to the shop numerous times even though we were told they fixed the check engine problem, after spending thousands of dollars on it we got the kinks out, well now we have it in the shop for a new engine because it had a recall(along with 2 others) on the fuel pump that the dealer not only didnt fix but never said a word about out. Unfortunately it is legal to sell a vehicle with open recalls but it doesnt make it ethical. If you in the market for a new used truck be sure to check those recalls because even though this place has a shop, they wont bother fixing them.

Went in to have them warranty a 1 week old battery. They wanted me to buy another battery until they received credit for the bad one. At which time I would be refunded my initial purchase price. That is crazy! No thanks keep your battery and send me a warranty check to the address I provided! I will never do business there again.

Driving down the road got a check engine light and gator was about an hour away. I called and they said if the repair was under 4 hours they could handle it. It was just an egr sensor and they took care of it and got me back on the road. Nice place would go there again. Thank you.
They dont get in any hurry but they make sure the problem is fix before your truck leave the shop, so be ready to get a room there

EDITED Im really wishing I had thought to check the reviews before buying from them, we were told they had fixed the problem that was causing the check engine light to come on But all they did was clear the faults and sold us a very expensive ari legacy sleeper truck. Less than 500 miles after leaving the lot we found it had a major wiring issue affecting the engine, fan, a/c and radio, thats just the things weve found so far. If they dont fix the problem I will be letting every one I know and social media know of our experience. I will keep everyone posted as to the outcome of our issues, gatr had offered to check out the problems today and see what they can do to remedy the situation.

Claimed I had bad brake chamber. I know its not the problem. 21 hours later still sitting here with them still telling me they are changing it. Threw me out into the street at midnight not letting me sleep in my cab. All hotels near by are all flop houses. Still waiting and they refuse to give me update just saying they have a tech on it. Brake chamber has been sitting on my duelie since yesterday. Nobody touching my truck.Very unprofessional and I dont think mechanics know what they are doing. Looks like mostly kids fresh out of school with a few old guys who just stand around talkingUpdate ... Now after 22 hours they tell me they need to change both chambers and they have not even started the first one yet. Telling me that they will be done in 2 hours again but they said hat yesterday. Total fleecing operation. Totally fleecing. Stay Away!

Bad service.3 hours to change a windshield.They left a lot of schrads of glass inside and they walk inside in dirty boots in a nice clean truck.It was a must hope never again.

I really recommend GATR, i buy and get installed a deer guard for my freightliner M2 in less than one hour, and price was the best all around, good customer service in Des Moines Iowa
