I came in Sunday to get a few things which unfortunately did not have. But the woman that helped me was friendly and helpful. I believe she was the only one working. She was busy but did an awesome job to greet and help everyone accordingly.

Stuff are great at helping you pick out makeup.

I had such a great experience here. I am a makeup novice and the ladies theor took the time to help me understand what I was looking for and how to use it. I appreciated it so much and love the products they recommended.

I visited on November 12th at about 6:15pm. I give it one star because I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, which was the Emerald Huda Beauty palette. I had checked online before driving there so I knew it was available. I asked the young lady about it and she immediately said it was out of stock without even checking. I insisted that she please check for me because it showed as in stock and available at this store. She told me “never trust it online” but went to check for me. She found it immediately on a nearby shelf. I’m happy they had what I came for, but I had to write this review because the experience was unpleasant. I had to ask her to literally look for it after the initial response, and telling me not to trust your website is concerning. Why have a website if the information is unreliable? Will not return.

Im in here fairly regularly, and the service can be hit or miss. Some of the associates are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond; while others act like youre not worth their time because youre not wearing makeup and just came into grab one or two things. Generally, the associates are very knowledgeable, and when its a good day, theyre super helpful at answering questions and pointing you to other products you might be interested in or that would work well with what youre looking for.

Ive had 4 bad experiences with this Sephora each time I have called customer service for the manager to just offer me things to come back that is not the problem the issue is your girls dont like to help customers they sit and talk or do their makeup I have read the other reviews and I am too having the same issue with NO one helping or even so much speaking to me I am a dancer and use a lot of makeup and I enjoy good makeup but when you go here it is hard to get any when they wont even help I started going through drawers last time it is such a bad experience here but I will try one last time ... but Mac hit it on the spot so thats my go to if this doesnt work

The employees were extremely outgoing and helpful. Ive been a Sephora customer for a long time, but not at this location and they were were much more helpful and fun than the employees I normally encounter elsewhere. Thanks for the samples!! (I visited 4/2/19 around 5PM)

They wont help you if you dont fit their ideal custumer. I make a lot of money but work in a blue collar field and when I go in on my lunch break no one will help me. Maybe realize that some ladies in Iowa cant wear makeup to work and help everyone that comes in your store.

The cashier gave me a really bad experience. I bought a cologne for men and when I was paying she didn’t ask me for my Sephora account. I gave her my info of my Sephora account and my JC Penney to get the points. When I was walking outside of the store I open my Sephora app and I realized she didn’t add my purchase. I went back and she was with another customer, then another was on the line. When she came. To the register, she ask the women behind me if she need something. She knew I was first on the line! I was so disappointed, I going back today to return everything and I’m going to buy everything from the app.The app offer me three samples, and one extra gift for the the expensive cologne. I can see this store closing very soon as the same as other stores around the city.😮😟

I loved this place! I am a newbie to makeup stuff and the staff was very helpful in selecting a foundation cream for me which had like a hundred varieties😄😄

This Sephora location is so hit and miss. Probably 75% of the time the staff is really knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. The other part of the time, probably 25% Ive walked in knowing about a weekly wow before the staff does, or know more about when a certain product is hitting their stores. If someone works at such a reputable makeup retailer as Sephora, I expect them to love makeup and be up to date on their makeup news. Be in the know on popular brands you carry, know whats going on with them for releases and new products. At the least, know your weekly wow specials well enough that when a customer brings them up, youre already aware and dont have to go check your website. You should have already done that before your shift started on the day the special was available.The 75% of good experience Ive had here is from fellow makeup lover employees who are in the know on products, friendly, welcomingknowledgeable about their specials and also excited for new launches.

The employees where so knowledgeable and amazing and professional. I will from here on out go to the valley west Sephora for all my makeup needs. I love mini makeover done by jo he listened to me and gave me the best advice what a great experience

I was very nervous coming into Sephora today . I have had a lot of problems with dry and flaky skin on my face, and I needed a good foundation because I wasn’t having any luck going the drugstore route. A very nice man helped me pick the Cloud shade in Born this Way with the brand Too Faced and a bronzer to go with it . He took time to put the bronzer on me to make sure I would be happy with it . I believe his name is Ricki ? He wrote it on the receipt, beautiful signature but not sure if it’s the right spelling . He has dark hair and he has a tan complexion. I’m happy with my purchase today ! Thanks so much !

By the time I got help I matched my own makeup not a good experience

Love the atmosphere of the store. The team seems very approachable and FUN!

I walked in with my little sister and we were looking for a specific palette and highlighter. No one spoke to us. We were in there just looking around seeing if we could find it while one girl was stocking something near us and neither spoke to us or asked if we needed any help. The other girl was ringing customers out, but after she was finished with that she came over and finally spoke to us and asked if we needed any help after about 15 minutes of us being in there and being ignored.

I have been a long time customer of Sephora and shop exclusively with them for all of my beauty products. I shop primarily at Valley West Mall and was ecstatic when Sephora was added several years back. The service has really declined in the last year. The staff is rude, inexperienced and unwilling to provide a solution to anything!!!! Several times Ive went to purchase an item and theyve been out. When I ask for a sample to get me by, they act annoyed. Theyre never willing to give out samples which I think it strange since I am a VIB Rouge member and nearly always end up purchasing the item I sampled.Lately, I keep getting my card in the mail to come in for my free sample. Each time I go in, they tell me they are sold out and to come earlier and never offer me an alternative. Yesterday I went to the store with my card(approximately 4 days after the promo started) and she told me they hadnt received them yet and to come back in a week or so. It seems like they dont have the item rather I come early or not and use it as a ploy to get me into the store. I had planned on purchasing a contouring kit, foundation and Dior Mascara. She was so rude and unhelpful I ended up just leaving. The products are very expensive and a luxury for most. Customer Service and loyalty should be important but it obviously isnt;. Ulta, here I come!

Just as good as a regular sephora just downsized. A bit less selection.

The staff is inefficient, I went to the store and nobody comes to help, I lasted about 10 to 12 minutes watching and wanted help to buy a makeup, but nobody came to offer help, I left and went to younkers and bought my makeup, the second time it occurred to me to enter the girl who attended to me was very serious, did not smile at me, I do not greet myself, I think if they need to train the staff better, and I write all this opinion in Spanish, because like me There are many Hispanic people that we buy in this store, so you should know that they also have many Latin clients who also use their products.
