I just bought a NES game, the kid said was new. His reason for the game not having plastic on it was because It was a display case but yet there was a different display case on the shelf. He put a sticker over the opening so they would know if it was opened. After I opened it I noticed scratch marks on the connectors proving the game was used before. They’re liars most likely so they can get new prices for used games and not have to hold up to their used games policy. Gives GameStop a bad name. Beware of their ripoff tricks

Hard to leave without buying anything .

I was in the store this evening and I was treated in a very rude and mean manner by the female staff person. She had no time to help me as a customer. Theres a lot of people who would love work in this store and maybe be polite with the buyers. Unacceptable!

Good location that usually has most of the mainstreams in stock. Staff is usually pretty good - though personal hygiene is an important thing.

Ive pretty much already said everything I need to about GameStop in other reviews, this stores no exception, they do a good job and buying and selling video games, which is exactly what theyre supposed to do.The only thing that really stands out for this location is that it is located at Merle Hay Mall. With Sears closing, the GameStop store is one of the only reasons for me to even walk into this mall, because otherwise the mall itself is a joke.

They have almost anything you could need for modern console gaming. How ever the female manager at the time was incredibly rude to both me and the employer who was doing his best to meet my needs in a efficient and kind of manner.

Staff was visibly irritated. I had to return a new system that I purchased at a different store. Turns out the sales tax is different so I received a couple dollars less than what I paid. The managers response we cant change sales tax. Classy.

Definition of huff. Absolutely disgusting organization... Will be turning to alternative options such as Blockbuster, eBay, and My Local Garage Sales for video games. They will be higher quality than this game stop. So huff.

The guy was very helpful and nice

I like gamestop. I have a credit card and a rewards card with them. I have saved over $500 easily by saving rewards and trading in my games when no longer needed. Key is to look for trade in deals. Like more money if traded toward a certain game. Finally, they are always friendly and helpful - when not busy lol

4 stars only because there seems to only ever be one person working. Bought an Xbox One X at a different store because it was the Gears package (1TB One X and all the Gears games) and it was a $100 cheaper than just the One X. Took my old gen1 Xbox One to Gamestop the next day, traded in for $100 store credit and used that to buy $100 worth of Microsoft gift cards, them bought a bunch of games during the xbox Black Friday sale. 5/5 planning on my part. Although there is usually only one person working when I go and sometimes they are really busy, the employees are always very helpful and polite.

All the staff are very nice and helpful. The manager really goes off of his way to ensure customers are satisfied. I had a problem with a pre-order and he gave me 10% off the game because of the issue.

Great place for used games, lots of collectibles now that they have thinkgeek stuff.

My son loves GameStop. Cheap used Games that are always in great working order but for $1.00 you can buy a warranty so its always a deal breaker

I’ve never had a problem. They’re professional, not pushy, and if they don’t have what I need, they’re willing to call other stores to see if it’s in the area.

Trash service worker sounds drunk, rude

This is a pretty good store. They have just about anything you could want/need for gaming. Sometimes they are understaffed but will get to you as soon as they can.

Did a fairly large trade in here and the staff was super helpful with getting it processed and holding a console for me. The place is a little small and can get busy so just keep that in mind if you are stopping by.

I made the mistake of selling my Xbox here. One can get twice the value from Craigslist or any other customer to customer selling forum. Avoid selling your games or consule to this store unless you want to buy more stuff immediately and only do so during a large bonus exchange turn in.

Not the best selection of pre-owned PS4 games, but great customer service (and a pretty face behind the counter) make for a good experience.

GameStop is by far my favorite place to go to get video games. I can usually get pre-owned games for cheaper here then other game stores and if your a power-up rewards member you get a discount off your games which is really awesome.

They had an awesome event on Thursday where people got to stay late at the mall period we played games most of the night.

This place is nothing more than a rip off, never shop or trade in they will nickle and dime you only to up charge by 800%

This is the second time Ive bought a used ps4 game only to go d that it will not play. It wont let me upload my picture. Anyway the store and a lot of the games here are pretty dirty. As I mentioned Ive bought 2 used games here and both had errors and will not play.

The people here were friendly but were not negotiable and were asked to much. I honestly could have bought it less on the actual video game console itself.

Bought a Nintendo Switch. So stepped into take a peek. Same as always, but didnt understand the pricing. Used games were selling for more than the new games, and for the ones that were actually cheaper it werent by much.
