I enjoy mine phone however I was suffered by promotion. I like to change my and mine services to US cellular. I went to retail store. I told lady who helped me, I saw promotions about iPhone 12 max that $1100 off from prices. She told me I need to do credit check. I did. I was QualifyToCarry two phone. I told her I want two services online. But mine wife isn’t with me. She told me I can have one now and later I can add my wife with Same promotions with zero payments for phone. I trusted her and that’s mine mistake. After that i come back to add another line for my wife as well pays bills for mine one line. They told can do $400 off only. I was face with different retail associate who don’t even want to call customers services to tell them that I was promised to add another line.I end up calling customer services and I talk with 3 different people transferring call with different but same things no one can helped resolved problems. I wish I could add both line at same time but I listen with retail stores employees of US cellular and for her mistake I was punished. Even three of upper beach could not do help me resolved problems.I would kindly request every customer do not trust US cellular at all. Even if you visit store. They lied and treat you like strangers. No respect. I felt cheated, disrespectful and unethical. I strongly recommended anyone looking for a us cellular do not make same mistake I did.I’m trying to do pay off and move to different carriers.My advices please us cellular accept mistake and make a correction don’t ruin customers and their trust.Please give me call and I hope mistake done by us cellular need to resolved then I can erase this comments.Thank you

Specific Employee decided to AVOID SIGNAL and NETWORK issues, even though Technology Says a different MEASURE OF PROBLEMS. Employee refused to Go any farther than a Bill Payment for SERVICE AIRTIME (Prepaid Services). . . END RESULTS.... THIS EMPLOYEE COULD NOT REPRESENT PROPERLY, as the Previous MANAGERS COULD. WITH RESPECT AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION (That was the previous MANAGERs Qualities. NOT THIS EMPLOYEEs VViews on Replacing a Broken Screen Phone that can be easily Replaced by the SAME COMPANY WITHIN QUALIFYING RIGHTS OF MEDICAL AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES.... I dont understand why the ISSUE had to become an ARGUMENT AT ALL, for RAM (Memory) issues. . .Too many Dillusions given by the EMPLOYEE, not the Customers. Sorry. I gave you a 3-Star.I actually have seen better SERVICE.

I rate 2stars easy access to store. I wanted to switch wireless services, so as it says,,, bring your own phone. Well first the man said my phone wouldnt work if its locked, so I called, was told that it can be switched,then the guy tells me that my phone isnt compatible with thier service... Im not one that spends hundreds of dollars on a phone just to get a phone. He wouldnt be my employee. Just SaYin. Not good to Advertise what you wont offer. Whats that called? I can think of two right off top.

Good and helpful staff. Just a very outdated system for changing anything on an account. They are a tech company in 2019 that doesn’t use email to send documents. Waited probably 20 minutes in store for one store to fax a signed document to this store. Just simply moving a line from one account to another.

I had a fantastic experience at the Merle Hay Road, US Cellular Retail Store! Mark B. is an actual Wireless Warlock and accomplished what numerous hours on the phone with three, call center customer service representatives and three technicians - couldnt. I walked in, dissatisfied with the experience that I had - since getting my new phone, two weeks, earlier. I walked out with a phone that finally worked in all aspects. I will make the drive from the west side to the Merle Hay store to speak with Mark, in the future! This store is busy, but it is because they have an excellent, upbeat, friendly and approachable staff - who do great things!! Best US Cellular experience that I have ever had!!

Very happy with the results in helping me with my data storage & gave me a new screen protector. Store by fairgrounds had indicated my main screen was cracked, so they didnt replace protector. Ive been like that for 6 months +, Thanks to help today is resolved!!

Avoid, not worth it, plus I didnt like how the staff gossips about their customers and make fun of the elderly who dont know how to use smart phones, besides their deals really sucks. Such a corrupt corporation from what I experienced, those employees are intimidated by anyone who doesnt fit their agenda. Never again, thank God I left before they corrupted me too.

Usually a very busy location but staff is extremely friendly, fun, professional, and go above and beyond to help service you and your wireless needs. This is the only US Cellular in town that has the Samsung demo station, an entire corner of the sales floor with Galaxy products - phones, watches, tablets and accessories. Very cool!

I agree with the other reviewer on here, whole heartily. My experience (6/3/2014) was brief, because I have no tolerance with people who are going to be THAT disrespectful to somebody who does business with them. Between my family and myself, weve been customers for 13 years and its the business from myself and others that is their job security. This young woman at the Merle Hay Road store, Jerrica.....I dont even know where to begin. It blows my mind that she is still employed. After having my negative experience, I took my business to the store in Windsor Heights (which I highly recommend) and even the representative I talked to said this girl had a horrible reputation for being rude.All I needed to do was make a claim. She called me up and all I said was I need to file an insurance claim on my phone. Its been having issues charging and now I think its just done for. All she did was look at me in the face and rudely state, well, you need to call the insurance company for that and said nothing else. Im just sitting there for a few seconds, and then finally Im like, Yes. I know, but I dont have the number for it. She rolls her eyes and snottily says, Im getting it for you right now, maam, which she wasnt. She was just sitting there until I finally said something. Then she writes down the number on a post it and says, Here ya go. Thank you. And Im like.....I just said I have a phone that doesnt work- Cutting me off, she slams her hand on the company phone and slides it around for me to use, using the worst attitude ever, then basically screams at me and says, HERE YOU GO, MAAM. I was done at this point.....I got up and said, loudly so her colleagues could hear me (hoping maybe they would intervene and help me out) Ill take my business elsewhere where Im not being treated so rudely. I really hoped somebody would have the decency to step in and help me out, but evidently that was too much to ask for. I had full plans of completely switching wireless providers, but after having such a great experience at the Windsor Heights store, I changed my mind. That store definitely went above and beyond for me.Overall, Ive had pretty decent luck with US Cellular, but keep in mind, I was ready to switch providers over ONE negative experience. I guarantee Im not the only person who would do this, either. When you have a positive experience somewhere, its unlikely youre going to tell a mass amount of people. However, when you have a negative one, you tend to tell everyone you know. Being polite is expected in a customer service job. Ive been doing customer service jobs my whole adult life and I would NEVER act the way she did to anybody. Word of mouth is huge. If I had any say in a large company, I would be paying close attention to the kind of people I keep around. This may seem harsh, but after the experience I had, I really dont think this woman deserves a job where she is interacting with customers, because she clearly has no social skills.Thank you to whoever takes the time to read this.

I wish I could rate this with a quarter of a star! Stopped in yesterday (9/26/13) to turn in a loaner phone and activate the new one that came in the mail... Jerrica was the employee who came up to my husband and I. I told her what I was there to do and she looked at me, rolled her eyes and asked if I had the box and charger that the loaner phone came with. I told her no, that I didnt need a charger and wasnt offered a box. (We have a drawer full of chargers at home). She must have thought I was lying because she gave me a dirty look then told me to hold on while she went in the back. Then came out, didnt tell me to come with her to her desk, just assumed that Id follow her. She asked if I had photo ID so I set it on the counter, she looked at it but never told me she was done with it (no big deal)....Then sat at her computer and talked to the other associate that was beside her for about 5 minutes about whatever else they were talking about. THEN she threw my new phone on the counter and said, There ya go. Im not going to talk about the dirty disgusting stains all over her too tight tank top, or her dirty stained headband, or the fact that the store in general stunk like a sewer. Because none of that had anything to do with the awful, disrespectful service I was subjected to. I especially wont mention the fact that when she brought out the dirty, dingy, disgusting cardboard phone box with the giant LOANER sticker on it, it seemed pretty damn clear to me that those boxes arent meant to be sent home with customers and she didnt even have the decency to tell me, OH, YOURE RIGHT MAAM, WE HAVE THE BOX RIGHT HERE. !!!!!!! ugh.

I was excited when I got my new Note 10 + but since I got it I had nothing but trouble with the service. I wasnt getting calls, calls would drop. I went back to the store and they sent a signal, new sim card new phone, called tech support. Total I probably spent 6 to 7 hours trying to resolve the issue. Then today 12/6 I couldnt get or make any calls. No sercice at all. I was very displeased. But each of the 5 times I went back to the store at Merle hay andDouglas in Des Moines Iowa I was helped with great customer service and was treated fair by all the employees in that store location. I was helped by Jason and Devin, miles, Amy and then Jason again. Jason seems to be a wonderful manager very helpful and great with his employees. Devin had a friendly smile and made me feel right at home. Amy was the same way! While I sat there this evening I overheard Miles and Spencer with their customers. Miles did a wonderful job helping a customer with a high bill reduce the bill and spencer a great attitude with a smile and great singing voice! There was another gentleman that was there everytime I was. He appeared to have same great customer service I just didnt catch his name. I went in upset and left happy! I was thankful for the whole teams customer service, knowledge and friendliness. I will refer and go back! Great work!

This review is based solely on service. I encountered a terrible experience at another location and was bounced around and told to contact someone at this store. Layth took the time to let me explain my problem in detail and took full responsibility to resolve the problem caused by another store. He promised to follow up with the other store and one of them would get back to me 2 days later. Layth ended up being the one to get back to me at the promised time before I even remembered they were supposed to call me. 5 stars for service delivery and taking ownership of another stores problem.

Evidently I had a completely different experience than other customers that have negatively reviewed this location because I had excellent service last, 30 minutes before closing. They were knowledgable employees with great sense of humor helping me purchase another Samsung Note. Thanks men!!!

I would not recommend this store. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. On Monday we went to change our plan and update our phones. Miles helped us, but admitted he was new and needed help and all other associates were busy, so he asked us to come back the next night. We agreed and made an appointment for the next night. At 2pm my husband confirmed our 6;30 appointment with Miles. We arrived at 6:30 and miles wasnt working and another associate suggested we call him ( not our job). We explained we didnt care who we worked with we just wanted to get updates and change our plan. A female associate then helped a customer that came in after us. When another associate mentioned that we were next she replied hers wont take long. At this point weve been waiting for 45 mins. Another family came in and said they were the female associates 7pm appointment. She then got up to help them and my husband asked if she was really going to help them when weve been waiting for 45 mins and she replied with well theyre my 7pm appointment my husband reminded her that we had a 6:30 appointment that hadnt been honored and weve been waiting for 45 mins. She just shrugged. We walked out- it was clear that customer service is not a priority here at all. Weve been U.S. cell customers for almost 7 years. I know this is not the standard for the company, but this location does not make customer service and experience a priority. Something that should have been done immediately the first time we went in will now take us going to a store 3 times. Pathetic!

For the reviewers below, jerrica also helped us in transitioning from verizon back to us cellular, which prior to deploying was a customer for 10 years. She made the process go fast and seemed to know what she was doing and got us all switched over. 2 weeks later we got our first statement in which it said we owed $360.... she completly screwed it up and we are still trying to fix the issue, she had lied about no activation fees (4 devices) and a promotional for a free ipad . I was pleased to find out Jerrica no longer is employed with the company and the managers so far have been trying to correct her mistakes. I will change thos review once they fix the issues their ex- employe caused

Every time I come to this location Im stuck setting there waiting for 30mins or more before getting any help. Half of the employees are usually hanging out not helping anyone. I just dont understand why theyre not as quick at helping people as the other locations.
