People were very helpful and kind. Prices were good. The young man helping me put the bags in the cart was still asking me if he could help me to my car. Now thats a true Iowan.

I love this place. They have a large selection of bird feeders and bird seed. There seeds are the best. In the spring and summer they also have plants and flowers you can purchase. Everyone is very helpful.

Ive been buying their deluxe parrot food for years. The last two bulk feed bags that I have purchased were chock full of maggots and adult moths. They promised to send me a new fresh bag for over three weeks to my house. They have not. Be careful because if youre not youll have maggots crawling up your garage walls and adult moths flying in your kitchen too.

Lots of good animal feed, plants, trees, and other things. Easy parking, but smells bad because of the factory across the street.

I have travelled for 20 + years to East Des Moines from West Des Moines. Absolutely worth the trip in $, products, and service. Great garden supplies, plants, birdfeeders/feed, the place has a small town feel to it. Easyaccess from I-235 East University exit. exit
