My Jeep four wheel drive wasnt operating correctly. When I called, the shop supervisor stated that they could handle the repairs, but after 3 weeks and several removed components (including the transmission and transfer case), they advised they couldnt do the repairs in the shop and would have to send the components to another shop for repair. The timeline they were giving me was several weeks to months, and no one had the parts needed. I have since taken it to a dedicated Transmission shop, and they are taking care of my vehicle. I had to spend a little over 2k for labor at Meineke, and nothing was repaired. The shifter wasnt put back together properly and now I hear gear and engine noise through the center console.I will never take my vehicle to this shop again, mainly because the cost out of pocket for NO repairs done whatsoever is unacceptable. They seemed like they might be good for oil changes and simple work, but nothing complex.
Place is very convenient in terms of needing an appointment quick at the last minute but I did schedule an appointment for 12. I ended up waiting for an hour and a half for just an oil change because they forgot to work on my car but finally worked on it and still had some issue with communication so I can get my car back. Good people, good service, reasonable enough prices but their communication is just not there.
I had a great experience at Mieneke! The atmosphere had a nice vibe and the staff was very pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond with their inspection and service, and explanation about my car for future repairs.
I made an appointment because I had a busy day and needed to be out by a certain time. When I arrived after a 40 min drive, I was greeted by a plethora of extremely unprofessional language between employees yelling back and forth in the back. After 5 minutes of swearing, someone finally came to the front. They notified me that even though I had made an appointment in advance, it would be hours longer before I was helped because they double booked their services and already took people that shouldve been after my car. No empathy, no apologizes, and no solutions to make it right.
I love this Meineke! The Manager & Lyndon were awesome everytime I was in there! They go above & beyond to get me in,- fix the issue & its always at a fair price! Honest, good guys - & thanks Tyler for getting me in and out in like 15 mins!
I have had my Oil changed here many times and this is the first time Ive had this bad of an experienceI waited an hour and 45 minutes before they pulled my car in and I had an appointment. My left side back bumper got scraped and to top it all off my car runs with a loud muffler sound and it definitely did not sound like that before I went there. Im very unhappy about the service and I wont be going back!
I did my oil change here and scheduling online was easy. I clicked on the 19.95 coupon online but it didnt apply or something so I ended up paying 45 dollars. Which is fine because the guy in the front was very kind to me and my daughters. He was up front and honest about what was going on with my car. I appreciate the customer service because its hard to find these days. THANK YOU! 😊
We we told by the dealership that my daughter’s car needed a specific repair. We brought it to Meineke and asked them to replace it. The mechanic called us to say he had checked it extensively several times and saw nothing wrong. We would never have known if they had just done what we asked them to do. When we DO need repairs, we will be back!
I had an appointment at 3:30pm and my car was took in at my exact appointment time. I didn’t have to wait or anything and they serviced my car quickly. Also love the app / site they are using to show you the good things and bad on your car.(Forgot what this is called ) Great, Friendly, and convenient service !!
We made an emergency stop at the start of a long trip home. The Meineke techs were very friendly and started work immediately to repair the engine. After several problems, six hours, and a thousand dollars, we were sent on our way, and went to a motel. When we started again, the problem was not as bad, but still present. Not wanting another delay, we limped home - 2 days - and took the car to our regular mechanic. He found that the Meineke tech had missed the actual cause. Diagnosing and redoing the work correctly was another eleven hundred dollars. Not happy!
They got me in and out and did a good job.
Although they didnt have what I needed, they were extremely helpful to the point of going above and beyond. My daughter made an appointment but something got missed or mixed up and the appt. wasnt listed, but the young man got me seen anyway on one of the hottest days in the PNW. THANK YOU!
Ive been a customer to this particular Meineke shop for over twenty years. They have always treated both myself and my vehicles well, and I trusted them. Over a week ago I took my car in for some work and met the new manager who was a bit terse with me once the work was underway. In fact, over the course of one week I had to return six times, plus an additional time a few days later because of poor time management, miscommunication and things not appearing to work as they should (plus problems arising after theyd worked on it which did not exist before Id brought it in and now they want me to pay to fix). I left an understandably unhappy review and swore theyd lost a longstanding customer for both how I was treated and with what was going on with my car. Today, as I sat in their lobby waiting for them to figure out yet another new problem, this time to do with the brand new standard tires they took a week to order and put on, I realized that those mechanics do work hard and deserved a better rating than I had given them. So, Ive edited this review to reflect that, but to also reflect my grievances of how things unravelled over the last nine days. Will I return as a customer after all of this? I honestly dont know, probably not unless its something covered by warranty, but there are worse places to go.
The store manager Robert was friendly and professional. They were booked for the next couple days but informed me that they could squeeze me in for an oil change if I’m willing to wait, so I obliged. The service team spotted out some leaks and physically showed me all of up coming maintenance. I’ve never experienced world class customer service from a auto repair shop before. It’s nice to experience a shop lead by honesty and integrity. I will be back for all of my future repairs.
They were really helpful and did whatever that is necessary to fix my car the same day it got broken into.
My first time @ this location was 6-21-21, I was amazed at how proficient Robert was. I’d been told by 3 other mechanics I needed my Calipers replaced bcuz one of the co2 sensors was clogged! He informed me the Calipers were in tip top shape but my car had blown 7000 error codes n the Last week. 😳🙄😱.Needless to say, I was horrified bcuz the cost at other shops would be $1100 - $1900! 🥴 He did the inspection and by Gods grace a plug had been 😁disconnected during the Tune up & it was disconnected from Coil #4 so there was the problem! After repairing my vehicle it cost me $89.12!🙏🏾 👏🏾 😍 I’m here at the shop today with my pickup trucks for an alignment $89... I just met these guys bit I’m sprung! The Lord say the same & nothing happens.. I’ll be back whenever I have a problem! GREAT SHOP. FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS TEAM AND GREAT PRICES!! THANKS MEINEKE. 🤗😍💯
Robert is great he made the whole experience quick and easy. Hes to the point and didnt try to BS me. Everything went great honestly and Im very happy with the service. The even checked out my car for free. I would definitely recommend this place and be back again for future services.
Its cool they just had an off moment with my serpentine belt it was fixed with no charge. They were cool. 3 out of 5 is still positive. We throw around the word great too often. Sometimes you should be grateful for the average.Came back a second time they were much more prompt. Rich and Rob did work.
They were professional and helpful. Explained everything in a way I could understand and follow along. Will return in the near future.
To expensive & poor customer service
They got grease everywhere they touched on my paint and did not take it off
The manager of the business was most professional and helpful. I appreciated that he suggested I might want to replace my windshield wipers. I took his advice. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Meineke. Excellent service. No high pressure sales.
Communication is key. A customer shouldn’t have to call in to check on the status of their car. Then just to get a response to call back or knowledge to know what’s going on in 30 to 45 minutes.
I brought my truck in for a leak in the transfer case and they to me that my driver side front tire was shaking a little. So I asked how much for the transfer case and tire and he charged me $749.00 and told me to bring it back so he can make sure they fixed the leak. So I bring it back and he tells me that there os s crack in the transfer case. So I asked how he didnt see that the first time. Lobg story short he said f you and get your truck out of here while my wife os sitting there. He calls the police and tell them he made a mistake.
The customer service was really great and they fixed my car super fast downfall is it’s going to be there awhile due to funds.
Came in for an oil change appointment which I thought was that day but it was actually scheduled for the next day and they still got me taken care of anyways. The staff in both the shop and the front desk were very helpful and nice. Great customer service :)
Professional, great with communication!
They inspected my exhaust system at my request and found a hole in my muffler. As they did not have the proper specialist to perform the repair, they referred me to another Meineke shop which was equipped to perform the repair. They also looked up a diagnosis code from my check engine light and found a bad thermostat, which I then scheduled with them to have replaced. I’m happy they were able to zero in on those two problems so quickly.
I was extremely pleased with the Meinke team at this location. I had a serious leak in the radiator system. It turned out to be a corroded connection on my radiator to intake manifold (heater core). The connection broke off inside the manifold and what could have amounted to a $2,000 repair. Instead they worked diligently and with great effort were able get the broken thread out of the manifold and saved me $1700+ and got me out of there same day. (I work and live in South Snohomish area). I cant thank them enough!
For a second i thought i was with jiffy lube.I was there just for alignment, and then came up with front hub assembly bearing, brake fluid flush, Hi performance brake fluid, power steering flush, power steering serice kit,And much more. 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Over charge went to take my car to get a tune-up soon as I went there they told me a diagnosis test was going to be 180 I ended up paying it anyway cause I needed my car to be looked at ASAP and they were closer to me then I got a call back saying it’ll be about 3,000 to fix when all I really needed was a tune up oil change which I can do myself and shocks but I told them my main focus was the tune up and that was about 300 by itself never will go there again the people who work there are fishy and seem to like to get over on people especially females. Don’t go here.
Mr. Wyverne is the best manager! As an active duty member getting ready to deploy, I needed to ensure my family’s vehicle was in tip top shape. His shop and staff, thank you Mr. Walter, provided one of the best customer services and I got a fair price. Thank you for taking great care of our car and my family.
Took my car in for an oil change last week. When I got there, no one was wearing a mask. I was told they double booked my timeslot so it might be 2 hours instead of 1 hour...thats fine, I live close by so I walked home and was told I would be called when completed. Two hours went by and no call. I call the store and Grant tells me he thinks its done. After waiting a minute for confirmation, Grant tells me they havent even started yet and blamed their internet being out for not getting it done. He tells me it will be another hour to complete. I told him no thanks and went back to get my car. Wont be coming back here ever.
My car now works good
Dont go to this location all scam artists they lie about everything just so they can not work and charge you the highest amount and then throw you a discount that dont discount much at all they all lie about your vehicle condition might even be stealing and replacing good parts on your car for bad ones they got me for 800$ and it was all a test to see if they would be honest dont go there even for a diagnostic they wont really look.
No change in behavior of car feel like they didnt do the work poor work done.
Great service, Grant and Vern went the extra mile with their customer service and did a great job on my car and got me back on the road within a short amount of time and offered a rental car which I didnt need cause they got my car back to me so quickly. So far theyve taken care of all of my families car issues with great results and great price,I intend on bringing all my business to them from now on and would recommend Meineke to anyone with an auto issue.
Even though I live in Seattle, I bought a Groupon for a wheel alignment at this shop because the price was good enough to justify the drive down there. So I made an appointment and showed up only to be told that, despite having a Groupon to cover the cost of the alignment, I might still be charged $45 for labor. Since I didnt have $45 on me, I decided to reschedule the appointment for the following week. When I drove back down for my rescheduled appointment the manager tried to get me to reschedule AGAIN because they didnt have a technician who could do the alignment! Moreover, the manager seemed to be dismissive of me as a customer simply because I was using a Groupon. So I cancelled my appointment and left. Needless to say, I will be avoiding ALL Meineke shops like the plague.
I had been going here for the past two years, but they do go work.
So I went to get my breaks done and I dropped my car off by 11am they were done by 3pm I am super happy especially with all of the rain. Thanks again for doing an amazing job on my car
I was in a hurry and Vern stepped up and had me back on the road in half the time expected. I watched and the tech checked everything he could so I would be safe. This Meineke shop is tops!
Usually I don’t take the time to write reviews when unhappy. But, after being blatantly ripped off by Meineke Des Moines wa. Location I figured I should say something. I went in for a full synthetic oil change service which is priced at $69.95 normally. At that price the shop is at the top end Of their competitors as far as pricing goes. I wouldn’t have chose them if I didn’t have a $15.00 off coupon for the oil change that I found online. So I went in to the shop for the oil change and was told yes, that I could use the coupon and the price would be $54.95. Service was done properly in a timely fashion and everything was fine until $54.95 + tax turned into $68.71. I didn’t notice until I got home. That’s the worst part. I didn’t notice the extra charge because the sleezy manager had built up trust with me throughout the process. The whole time planning on ripping me off for an extra seven bucks. I could care less about the money. It’s the fact that If a shop charges you a hidden fee for alleged shop supplies when picking your car up, you can’t even trust that they actually even changed the oil, etc. Thanks a lot Meineke. Steer clear of this shop.In response to the owner... Your response is insulting to say the least. 1. I understand how sales tax works and that it isn’t incl. in price. 2. I was quoted $54.95 plus tax. The shop fees should have been disclosed before the work was done. Saying “it’s posted” is the oldest trick in the book. 3. Your caught. And you know it. The $7.00 fee is a way to bump up your profit by another 10% per job. You see, I managed a bodyshop for 10 years until Driven Brands took corporate over. Because they pushed these same seedy tactics on us. So sorry. Your “ just doin our job” isn’t working today. Funny thing is if you didn’t choose to do shady business you would make a lot more profit off customers like myself in the long run.
I thought the diagnostic information was extensive and thorough.
I paid $768.00 to have the shaking fixed in my wifes truck a week ago and its still doing the same thing and leaking fluids.
The staff was very polite and helpful. They ran tests on my car and let me know what the problem was. Before fixing it, they made sure I know how much it would cost. I got a discount coupon as well!It was my first time at Meineke, and I will definitely go back there in case I have car issues again..(🤞🏾hopefully not any time soon)Thank you!
I always come to this location for all my services needed, customer service is great! Explain everything in detail with whats wrong & what can be done to fix the problems. Very informative & helpful, always high quality service!!! Mechanics do their best in keeping my car up to par for my job as a high mileage driver, keep you the great work guys!!! Lakewood Meineke is also a great spot to go, Teri is great!!! I love coming to Meineke, they have become like family!!!
Easy to make an appointment via phone for this location as there’s no option to book online. Warm welcome. Clear expectations on time for the oil change, about 1 hour. Did not offer any discounts even though there were a couple online. Overall good experience. Would recommend having them prompt to schedule the next oil change and follow up with reminders when the time comes close for the next time to come in.
Did a good job. I was disappointed that they did not honor the Groupon I had just bought. They claimed that they had told Groupon they aren’t honoring them anymore. I understand but Groupon should not be selling them anymore
These guys are my heroes! They made me a priority, and fixed issue on my car in no time at all. They were professional and personable at the same time. I could tell the center is run really well, and the employees all seemed to be positive. Great experience and I will absolutely bring my business back.
Best customer service and repairs done right. Im a repeat customer and will definitely go back again. If you go, ask for the Manager, Verne. He was the best! He explained everything thoroughly and even repaired issues I voiced concerns about. I cant say anything bad about this shop because they have me comfortable driving my car again after 3 years.
Job wasnt complete place isnt like it used to be
Great people doing a great job from easy to hard. Changed my motor once, alternator, and water pump, as well as oil changes. Still have the same 2 vehicles and am glad to keep my 2013 Taurus SHO (police interceptor). Runs great! THANK YOU!
I made a appointment and yet there I was waiting about 2 hour just for my car to get a oil change. Definitely no coming back to this location any more even know is the closest location for me.
They are the friendliest and most honest car shop Ive ever been to. They put the customer first. I witnessed the manager Brian help an elder lady who was just down on luck, he gave her a discount and lifted her spirits in the process. I highly recommend you come to this shop over ANY other. Real people with real results!!
They were to repair the coolant system. During the 5 days they had the car the repair estimate and parts needed increased to 4 times the original estimate. Upon completion while going over the invoice I noticed I had been overcharged twice for labor. That relented and the final bill was 3 times the estimate. I still think there was unnecessary or not completed work and charges done.
They have worked on my car several times here. Never had any problems other than the parking lot being small and odd shaped. Got a good estimate and good service. If I had an issue then they would fix it. I appreciate the couple of times they would give me a quick eyeball look at a problem instead of dragging my car in to the garage.
The work done on my car was thorough and done in a timely manner. I have no complaints about the mechanics here. However, the customer service of the folks behind the counter was somewhat frustrating. They were more preoccupied with conversations amongst themselves than helping myself and others quickly. After my car had finished receiving it’s oil change I was called to the counter. I stood at the counter for 12 minutes waiting to sign a piece of paper while the two men behind the counter talked to each other. If they had just handed me the paper to sign and then continued their conversation I could have been on my way instead of waiting the extra amount of time. This was quite frustrating.
Got my Uber inspection done, they didnt wear masks or use gloves during a pandemic. Disappointing
The crew at this location resolved a fuel system issue to my car that has been going on for years within the same day. Walter was extremely helpful and polite. Would come back for future car work!
I was really disappointed in this Minekes wheel alignment service. The staff was very friendly, but the quality just isnt there. After we replaced our suspension, our car needed an alignment (had a slight left pull) so we bought a groupon. In their first attempt, it took 8 hours to complete an alignment. As soon as we picked it up, we saw that it now pulled hard to the right. We called, scheduled another service, and dropped it off two days later. After another 4 hours at the shop, we received a call quoting an additional $350 in labor saying that the upper and lower control arms needed pulled due to seized bolts (the control arms have literally nothing to do with the ability to replace an alignment bolt). At this point it was obvious I needed to find another shop I could trust. I picked up the car and brought it to a reputable alignment shop (Hiline in Burien) and they had it driving absolutely straight in under an hour with zero additional labor or shady mechanic vibes (their basic alignment was surprisingly the same cost as the Mineke groupon rate + their surprise fees). We ended up just burning the Groupon and paying again for our alignment, but learned a lesson: go to a reputable shop.
I svheduled an allignment online and when I got there they turned me away saying they couldnt fit me in until the next day. Plus, they wouldnt accept my Groupon.
They were really helpful and nice and patient. I was a walk in at this location and they were able to take care of me right away unlike a different location they told me I’ll have to make an appointment and wait about a week so I can got my brakes fixed!
I feel confident with service I receive at Meineke. Wyverne Hemphill is an excellent manager. He’s always honest and upfront about repairs needed and since I can’t afford to do everything at once he will prioritize based on importance and need. The workers are always friendly. I appreciate having a place to bring my truck that I trust. Thank you! Michele
Very accomodating and great service.
Bad customer service
Worst costumer service
The reason I am giving 1 star is for Walter who works here should be fire if Meineke company wants to make Money in this Store. He is corrupted. I went there for Uber inspection and he charged me $60 and I found out the inspection is $53 includes tax he did that for one of my coworker. I knew something was not ok when he spoke Spanish to the two other Mexicans who were in the store. There was also mass up protocol about Covid 19 distance people were not wearing Masks and gathering there.
I broke down there. I was told someone would come get me from my car as soon as they were off their lunch. Nobody came and got me I had to go in and ask. Once there I was told so many things. Once they took the car apart they told me that it wasn’t going to be available till Monday. I was trying to figure out how to make that work since I was an hour from home. It was three hours till closing and a four hour job, he told me that he was going to put multiple people on it so it would hopefully be done by the time they closed. I had someone on their way to get me because I thought it wasn’t going to be done til Monday, I told him to turn around because he said that they would try to get it done by closing. 15 minutes before closing I had to ask if it was going to be done in time for closing, he had me going to the shop and he showed me the issues accessing the oil leak. The repair hadn’t even been started yet and I had already been sitting there for four hours.....at No point was I informed that it wasn’t going to be done. There is no way that they didn’t know that sooner than when I asked at 4:45.... I had my kid and my dog and all of my camping supplies with me. after 4 1/2 hours of sitting there they were closing in 20 min.... I asked for a ride but my ride was 45 minutes away. Me and my son and my dog and all of our camping gear sat outside the shop in the cold Waiting for a ride. The shop is closed on Sunday and they couldn’t start the repair until Monday. I had to take a 12 hour shift off of work to be able to get the stuff figured out. On Monday I called at noon to see when my car would be done and they told me it was still another 2 to 3 hours of repair which did not add up to the original quote of 4 hours since they had my car for 4+ hours Sat. I started doing my errands and they called me less than an hour later and told me that my car was ready. I had to drop what I was doing and drive an hour to Des Moines to get my car. Nothing that I was told from the moment I walked into the shop was consistent. Every time I asked a question I got a different answer. I was charged $1351 and my car currently smells like burning oil. I’m not sure if it’s old oil just dried and burning off that didn’t get cleaned up or if it’s continuing to leak and burn oil....Also I did notice today that my car door is snagging on the body of the car when the door is opened all the way. Not sure if this is from opening the door when on blocks since once it was open the door wouldn’t reshut at that point? The manager was very nice and tried very hard, but he was the one giving me different answers everytime I asked. I wasted so much time and wish I would have towed my car elsewhere for service. I have a friend who would have done it for half the price.I would suggest taking your car elsewhere if possible!!!
They did quality work and were very realistic/honest with cost and time frame. I would recommend this place to others!
Grant was very professional when we came in. All I know is that I will only go to them for my car needs. Than you Gwendolyn Harris
First of all its a shame I have to give them a negative review because I think Walter the store manager is a good guy and honest but the problem is he went home early on the day I was there for his birthday. so he was NOT the person keeping an eye on the technicians during the day. instead it was the regional manager a guy named Wyvern who did NOT seem to do a lot of interaction with his mechanics (& by the way he did NOT wear a mask at all during the time he was in the office claiming he had allergies)Anyways my car had broken down and I had called ahead and said it MIGHT possibly be a fuel pump according to a few people I spoke with prior to calling Meineke but I said I would want to MAKE SURE with a FULL DIAGNOSIS and Walter said sure they will do a diagnosis first and we agreed that the fee for diagnosis would be waived if I did the repair with them thereSo I had my vehicle towed there and waited most of the day before they actually pulled it in to start working on it around 3 p.m.the technician named Edwin spoke almost no English which doesnt bother me as long as he can do the work competently but it does make it difficult to communicate which is why its nice to have Walter there who is bilingual whereas the regional manager Wyvern speaks no Spanish.I was also not impressed when Edwin wanted me to help push my own vehicle into the shop. Im 53 years old by the way. Normally at most shops Ive been too if a car will not run... at any given moment they need to push it in they will whistle to the mechanics and they all stop what theyre doing and take 60 seconds to push a vehicle into the garage. I thought it was strange they didnt have a protocol... surely they must have had towed vehicles before. So Edwin starts working on my vehicle around 3 and does NOT seem to have done any real diagnosis at all . it seems like he just started tearing apart the gas tank to do the fuel pump without checking for other possible problems first and Wyvern never went out there to ask him how its going or anything. They SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THIS 1st :A faulty mass airflow sensor will cause problems similar to low compression or low vacuum, & will also show symptoms similar to when your vehicle has low fuel pressure from a faulty fuel pump. the most common symptom of a faulty mass airflow sensor: engine very hard to startSo he puts in the new fuel pump & tries starting the car and it makes the EXACT SAME SOUND it was making prior. This tells me that in fact it PROBABLY did NOT need a new fuel pump !By this time its almost closing time. they started TOO LATE to do any further work and finally wyvern comes out and starts asking whats going on. I start objecting that in fact they replaced the fuel pump that was STILL GOOD so at this point they try to prove to me that the fuel pump was not good by connecting some multimeters and showing that theres no pulse so to speak. but in fact it BACKFIRES on them ! there WAS a pulse... you could see that there WAS still LIFE in the fuel pump but Wyvern tried to claim that it might be moving a little but it should make more noise indicating that it was not a good fuel pump. I do NOT believe this is correct and in fact I spoke with other mechanics ex post facto who said testing the fuel pump outside the gas tank is not reliable for good or bad.So at best you could say I MAYBE needed a new fuel pump but MAYBE NOT... so I paid $400 for something that I might NOT have needed at all. if I DID in fact need a fuel pump I paid a little less than it might normally cost because he reduced the amount of labor charge but on top of that the technician Edwin sloppily put things back together and failed to properly set the floater so that the fuel GAUGE is NOW STUCK on FULL and the only way to correct it is to drop the entire tank again and reset it !However when I called back to the Meineke the next day (after having it properly repaired at the Ford dealer where they simply cleaned the MAF sensor) I was told that Wyvern would NOT drop the tank and fix the fuel gaug
Vern was courteous, respectful and also involved in getting my truck the best care. I would not only come back but I have recommended some other people to get the best experience for their car at Meineke in Demoines.
Honored the price for my a/c that was hiven over the phone. But...when they finished with it they said it wasnt blowing cold and wanted to do a diagnostic check on it for 100+ dollars but they couldnt do it that day and would need me to leave it for a few days. Left went down the road and turned a/c on and it blew cold. Guess they dont know how to work an a/c in a gmc or just wanted more money
I have a 2005 Nissan Xterra with 140k. I recently had all 4 catalytic converters replaced here, not an easy job. Vern and crew did a great job and that was verified recently by another shop when I when to a muffler place for a new muffler. They inspected to vehicle prior to service and told me the shop that did the work on the cats did a great job (Meineke). Overall I have had about 6-7k $ worth of work done at this shop over the last year, new brakes, valve covers, tune ups, and the big work recently on the Catalytic converts. This is not an easy vehicle to work on, I have had other shop simply pass on working on it as too difficult. These guy do great work and the prices are good, Thank you Vern and crew!
I was content with the services that the rep provided great options for payments and on time with service
I came here because my car was having trouble starting, was met with friendly staff and an easy check in process. They figured out the problem, gave a fair quote and had it all done in a very reasonable amount of time. Thank you guys for all your hard work!
Outside the fact the mech didnt know how to operate my EV lincoln it was ok. Just expensive.
Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I hit a curb down the street from this Meineke and my tire was destroyed. I limped it to the nearest area I could pull over which was Meineke. Ron, who I believe to be the manager was the nicest person on earth. He went out of his way to help me, drove me to two near by tire shops to find my particular size tire, and drove me back and had his employees balance and mount the tire. He made what was a very stressful morning turn into such a positive experience! I can’t thank him enough for his kind generosity... I will definitely be back to this location for other needs in the future, all because of the amazing customer service and friendliness extended to me on such a hectic morning!
Services are fast and straight forward.
Owner & staff are nice & knowledgeable. They were able to get my vehicle in quickly. The work took a bit longer than expected but by no fault of their own. Will definitely keep coming back.
These folks have always given us good deals and quality care. Today they saved us a small fortune on tires by walking through their look-over with my girlfriend. They have 100% of my good faith and I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. Shout out to their mechanic Geraldo who did a fantastic job helping my girlfriend today, as well as the friendly manager whose name she failed to get! Much appreciated, thank you.
So far so Good, look forward to having more much needed work on my car at this location.
I was in a pickle with getting my brakes done and I was given a great deal that saved me so much money! I definitely will be back. I appreciate the employees at the Des Moines location!! Thank you again.
I can not thank you guys enough for getting us in today!!! Seriously thank you! Meineke of DesMoines Washington Love their Customers and we are Men of Integrity. Please follow through with recommendations that we give you with our inspections. Its your car you have to take care of it because when they break down it can get very costly.
They said it would take about 45 minutes but ended up 2 hours of waiting
Do not go here. I went in for an overall inspection / tune up/ muffler inspection. A few days later, I was on the freeway and my engine almost over heated. I open the hood to find my radiator cap missing. Thankfully i was close to an auto store and replaced the cap and filled the coolant. I called back to explain what happened and the man at the desk refused to take any responsibility. He said sometimes the caps get old and fall off sometimes. If so, Id expect it to be noticed in a vehicle inspection. Im highly disappointed in their customer service & quality of work. Ill never go here again and tell everyone to avoid it.
They charged me for tire repair which they never fix. Even second time they cant find leak but tire was totally flat in one day. They gave me money back and told me never come to their shop again
Horrible service! I was scheduled for wheal alignment(week before!) When I got here I turned out that they only have 1 spot for alignment and it was occupied with some car that needed additional parts that missing. They said parts are coming, so I waited for an hour. No parts, I waited more. Then after waiting another hour I asked manager why they dont have another spot for alignments(it is pretty big car shop). Manager (his name is Wyverne Hemphill) started to argue and yelled at me. I told him that he is rude. Then he told me that he dont want to serve me anymore and I need to leave. WOW! Spent there half day for nothing, got attitude from the manager, and was kicked out from shop! While I was waiting different people were coming with their car problem and I clearly noticed shop ripping them off. Why people still going there?
Walter and his team are awesome! Higly recommend Meineke in Des Moines 👍👍

The windshield wipers on my Jeep were malfunctioning and I brought it here. It took a couple trips to get it all fixed, but it all worked out, and was a very positive experience. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. They also keep you informed of everything going on with your vehicle, as best they can, while it is being worked on. I really appreciate that. Gerardo was the tech who fixed my windshield wipers. He expressed gratitude to me for coming in, and invited me to come back if there were any other issues.
Went in for a tie rod and brake job 3 weeks ago. Vern, the service manager. was very helpful with me and the issues I had with my truck. Good service and friendly atmosphere. Thanks and keep up the good work .
Took 1.5 hrs to do an oil change, nothing else. Had a busy morning. Got there at 10am.. Left after 1130. Not acceptable.
Outstanding customer service better prices than other locations Walter and hes team are the best
They sent me home with a flat tire and weak brakes that were about to collapse because I chose not to have their services done at that time.
Since the new staff started work at this location I have noticed an improvement in customer service. The mechanics care about doing a quality job. I would definitely recommend this Meineke to anyone. Thanks for taking care of me and my car Wyverne and staff.
Unprofessional and I wasnt sure if I would ever go back again
