First time there and it wont be my last!! The staff there are great, its a family owned business, they treat you like family, they do what they can to keep you happy. They fixed my car and did a great job. I wish I would of went there a long time ago!! The prices are reasonable.

I spent over $1,400 and they did not fix the problem, ended up taking my car some place else and they had no idea what Chamberlin fixed besides charging me of inspection charges from the invoice I received. They missed the bent tire rods, my car drove worse once I left the shop. They also did not check their work, when I started my car to leave it made a terrible sound, well apparently the mechanic who test drove it never turned on the A/C and the belt was not correct. They also had my car for longer then stated. Not a happy customer, feeling taken advantage of.

My family has taken our cars (and bought several cars) from Donny for years and years. He’s always willing to hear out my questions and concern and help me make the best decision for me. I now live in Chicago and still call him to ask questions. They offer such a high quality of service and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Thankful for all they do!

Donny is amazing! We have taken our 2012 Lincoln to him many times and wouldnt dare go anywhere else!!! He is one of the few HONEST auto shops and runs on his word and integrity. Even with the chaos of COVID, his shop has managed to always get our car fixed in a timely fashion. He shares his findings and never makes me feel dumb when I ask for more clarification. He isnt there to nickel and dime you, but rather keep you safe and is mindful of your pocketbook. Very pleased with his communication and turn around time!

My wife and I had a great experience working with the owner and team. They are incredibly knowledgeable about fixing vehicles, fair in price, and provide fantastic customer service. On a go-forward basis, I expect us to continue to use this place for vehicle repairs.

Had just walked in after I was having issues with my tire pressure light being on even after I filled them. They where able to check it out fast and came to find I had a screw in there. They patched it up, drovr 4 and a half hours on it and so far no issues and it was for a good price. Nice friendly staff, will definitely come back!

Needed a car shop closer to our house. Decided to give Chamberlin a shot. Best decision. Weve been able to get our cars in the same day we call. Super thorough on inspections. Great an communicating with us on what the issues are, how they can fix it and the price. Everyone has been extremely kind and helpful. Definitely will be bringing our cars back for future work.

I was quoted a price for 2 things to be done at 557 which is quite high for a ball joint and an alignment (labor was more than parts prices that were doubled) then about 2 hrs later was told they needed 200 for an outer tie rod then like 4 hrs later told I needed an inner tie rod...plus it was not going to be ready that day even though they had it since 9:15 am...so I said enough pulled me car out and was quoted 130 for an inner tie rod and alignment by another shop compared to their 400 quote...so after taking vehicle to other shop found out we did not need an inner tie rod and the wear on the tires was even so it would have been a waste of our money to do an alignment on a 2006 vehicle on a 2nd engine with 130 k plus...so they tried to rip us off on an inner tie rod and now wonder if we even needed the outer tie rod...overpriced and will rip you off on work at every opportunity...do not recommend to anyone..

My brother used to work with Donnie as a mechanic and would never let me take my vehicle to any other person because he knew we could trust Donnie and a few other mechanics. With that being said, Donnie has been working on my cars for 11 years now! Donnie is very trustworthy and honest. A lot of people go to places because they are cheap. I go to Donnie because of the quality and trust that I have with him and his staff. I know that I will get the best service from his team!

Took a vehicle here to get a pre-purchase inspection. After I bought the car I took it to my mechanic in Omaha and was disappointed that many items were not found during the inspection Chamberlin Auto completed. I did not expect them to find everything but rubbed thru hoses, radiator leaks, and a missing heat shield on the exhaust should have been seen. I did not have any work done here so cannot comment on that.

Very thankful they figured out what was making my 91chevy truck die Everytime I drove it.. its been a great week driving around...with no worries so thank you again Chamberlin Auto.

Its very nice when they explain everything that they are going to do beforehand. The staff is very nice and helpful. They stay in contact with you while youre vehicle is in the shop. Done quickly. I would recommend this shop to anyone who has anything they need done.

Donnie Chamberlain is a class act. I have never been so pleased after getting my car repaired. This is the best automotive repair experience I have had in a long time. My car is a 68, and it was damn hard to get the alignment done correctly. And it would be for any shop in town. He took his time, and was always cheerful, and got the job done, and done right!! the first time!! I will definitely recommend Donnie and his crew to anyone I know!!

I was recently in the Des Moines area with the intention of purchasing a used car. After reading favorable reviews, I chose Chamberlin Automotive to conduct a pre-purchase inspection. Donnie not only charged far less than the local dealers for the same service, but the inspection was thorough, and he was completely honest about what was wrong with the car and what would require immediate attention. On top of it all, he managed to get me in on the same day, and I was in-and-out in about 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES! (the Lexus dealer wanted an hour and a half..) Coming from an out-of-town guy who had crossed fingers hoping he chose a good shop, I highly encourage you to consider Donnie and the Chamberlin team for your automotive needs. You are doing yourself a disservice if you dont. 5 Stars!
