Chris L was literally the Hall to my Oates on this early Sunday afternoon. He was quick to help my get some bulbs for my burnt out headlight. Gave me some helpful tips to install them (like wearing gloves because the oil on your hands can burn the bulb faster!). He was so kind and made the experience easier as I have zero knowledge on cars. He suggested the two pack as it’s cheaper and my other headlight will most likely be going out soon, too! Fabulous experience.
AutoZone staff greeted me and asked if I needed help as soon as I walked through the entry. They were able to direct me where to find what I was looking for. The shelves were stocked and tidy. You will likely find whatever you are looking for to care for your auto.
Chris was very helpful and I got my part quickly. However their touchless tap to pay here on their electronica check out doesn’t work. Appears at AutoZone can’t get in touch with paid actually work maybe a couple of low read reviews will open their eyes to fix their technology.

Our battery was dead. I spoke with Kyle and he said bring in the car and hed test it before selling us a battery. I also explained that the current battery only lasted 30 months and asked what he could do. My wife went to the store, said his customer service was great and after testing the battery, noted we needed a new one. He also gave his advice on a couple of other issues that she asked about. She doesnt like this type of thing but said he spoke with her as an equal, didnt try to force any sales on her, and she left very happy. He handled the issue with the defective battery and installed the new one. Excellent customer service! Well check this store out again because of Kyle.

The service at AutoZone in Derry was great. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that helped me install my wipers. Because of the age of my Caddy he had to go find the right clip for it. Some places could have charged me for the clip but he/they didnt.

I ordered brakes from the manager Kyle Giddings he tells me they will be in Fri, then its Sat. I go in Sat and its they arent in its looking like Mon or Tues. Meanwhile my sons car is apart the old brakes are gone and he cant drive to work so were scrambling to find him rides. I call the district manager and his response is they tell all customers its an estimated date. Not once in my 20 years buying parts have they ever said estimated date, its always your parts will be in on blank. They are full of excuses, offer no fix, and are not apologetic. Garbage store. Ive had issues with autozone in the past they are always poorly run. Go to advanced auto or pepboys either will treat you better

Bought an alternator 2 weeks ago.after 2 calls with no luck,Auto zone in Derry had one in stock for a good price.when I got there they already had part waiting on shelf,was in an out in matter of minutes.Was greeted professionally by Matt and had the process done quickly.

I usually am an easy going guy and can deal with a lot before I feel negatively about an establishment, but this autozone is by far the worst one I’ve been to in all my years being a car fanatic. I asked if they sold a Haynes manual for my car, mind you the manuals were behind the counter about 10 to 15 feet away and his response was “Why don’t you take a look yourself?” I wasn’t about to climb over the counter so I responded with “I can’t really see them can you help me find the right one?” In which he just stood there and didn’t help me. I then asked for brakes for my car and asked if they had ceramic. They barely responded to me. On top of that I told them I had my $20 dollar bonus on my card (which they confirmed) and they didn’t even include that discount in my order which was at this point 100 dollars. After that experience I would think it was just them having a bad day. NOPE. I returned the rear brakes a few days later which weren’t opened and they again treated me very rudely. So much so I almost forgot my refund because of how furious I was. When I came back to the counter he told me that “it was obviously common sense” when I nearly forgot my money instead of understanding my frustration in how they were treating me. Overall. Will NEVER go to this location again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it at all costs. By the way I work in the auto industry and know how customers SHOULD be treated. Disappointed.
At a little before 8:30 pm I arrived and asked if they could check my battery, given it died and I just charged it and drove it there. I was informed that they did not check batteries after dark and to come back in the morning. I explained my situation that I had to leave for Maine at 5 am the next morning for work; they stated they still couldnt help me. I asked for other local shops that might be able to help me and got no information.Outside my still running car in the parking lot I called another local shop who stated if I came immediately they would help me. Meanwhile one of the two employees I had spoken to came outside to smoke a cigarette while I was on the phone with the other local shop. Only then did they offer to check my battery!!!! Customer service does not mean denying service until you learn your competitor will do it instead!!!

This is a well-maintained and well-stocked AutoZone. I came in to buy a headlight bulb, and the employee who helped me was very attentive and knowledgeable.They have a public restroom.There is plenty of parking outside.
Overall a bad experience. The sales manager, Leanne, was extremely rude. She was coming over to assist us, then bumped into me and rolled her eyes at me. Then proceeded to give us attitude and talked down to us because we didnt know certain things about a product.
Service here is the best attribute of the business. Staff pays attention to customer needs or wants. Parts are usually in stock. Rewards Program is a good one.

The staff at this location were a big help. I have a battery in my SUV that needed be tested because it periodically dies and I was uncertain of whether it was the battery, alternator, or both that needed replacement. They tested both for free and advised me that the alternator was fine, but the battery was bad. AWESOME Customer Service!! Thanks!!

The employee who helped me tried very hard to accommodate my time constraints. When he was having trouble with an item doubling when trying to check out, he asked his manager for help. The first thing his manager said was something to the effect that he was talking (a personal story, not a sale) and he was upset about being interrupted. The manager spoke down to the employee and chastised the employee for telling me the product would be in when they opened in the morning. Long story short - I thought the manager would come and diffuse tensions but instead he really escalated them. He was condescending to both me and his employee. He was very unprofessional.

I went to AutoZone to purchase brake pads and brake rotors and a floor jack. Got home. Took everything apart to find out they gave me the wrong parts. Went to AutoZone and the only thing they could do is gave me a refund because their system was wrong on the specific parts for my car. I went to ORiley Auto Parts and got the new parts and installed them no problem. IDIOTS THAT WORK AT MCDONALDS SHOULD HAVE NO JOB AT AUTOZONE!
Custom service is awful. employes tend to ignore youre needs. And have very little automobile no-how. please when you go through your hiring process please hire ppl with knowlege of the field the of buisness youre in.
