This is a pretty cool place. The drink selection is good. Didnt get to eat because this was a waiting spot for the ghost tour. The decor is awesome with lots of seating options.

I’m a Scotsman living in Dallas and discovered this amazing bar on my last day in Denver watching Wales v Denmark. The best Irish bar I’ve ever been in in the US. Class bartender/owner, dark bar, TVs everywhere, Golden Tee 2021 and the best Guinness pour I’ve seen for years. Quality

Surprising establishment in LoDo! Always love it here; the food, staff, drinks, and prices all hit the sweet spot. Even when they’re busy the staff are on point. The menu has a host of tastes, all of which are delicious. And the vibe is one of the few “pub” locations in Denver. Definitely recommend. Always a great time.

$20 for a crown and coke served with a bad attitude. Cool scene, but definitely not worth their prices especially with cruddy service.

Came after the Texas A&M vs Colorado game. The bartender didn’t double pour the Guinness and had a horrible attitude. The vibe is alright but it doesn’t really know what it wants to be, if you want to be a pub then be a pub. The bartender also wouldn’t serve us food. Said he had been there since 7am and was too busy. We left after a beer.

Just a stop for a drink this particular night but the stairs to the bathroom, not so ADA compliant. And super sketchy stairs even for regular folk, Id say! (Steep!) The place had a fun vibe and two floors of seating (I suppose for events or maybe on super busy days). Bottom floor was shut off but you can still get to the dingy bathroom. Its a basement bathroom and it shows (smells) as such.

Adam was a good bartender. Atmosphere at the bar, at least, was promising. However, the pizza vending machine and EXTREMELY loud drum band were off-putting. Why cant an Irish pub just be an Irish pub?

Halloween night. Very crowded, hard to get drinks. And the drinks were terrible.

Nice spot for a drink. Downstairs is a little spooky after they close it at night. Bathrooms are located Downstairs so when you go down there it feels Erie.

Off track betting for the horses. The perfect time to go is the day before the triple crown races. Lines are not long! You beat the crowds, unless that is what you like! Great service and good food. Pricing is reasonable. Always a good time!

This place is whack. Dropped in for a drink after dinner with my wife. Ask for a drink menu, bartender said they dont have a drink menu. Drink menu was on a table on our way out.

The only place in Denver to get a properly poured pint of Guinness. Adam is an excellent bartender and the staff is wonderful. Lovely fish and chips, great place to go have a quick drink!

This is one of the most prejudice places Ive ever been in. The only nice (non-prejudice) person that works there is the girl with the dark curly hair that works downstairs. Shes the only one that ever asks us if we would like anything. I was a waitress for 30 years and 5 of them were spent right down the street from there at 1515 market at a fine dining restaurant. Everyone that comes in there and sits down at a table should be asked if they would like something. Dont just pick and choose who you are and arent going to wait on. Havent you learned anything from the past year?

The Celtic is an Irish themed bar with a a friendly staff and a great variety of drinks. Upstairs is furnished with oversized booths and leather chairs to hang out in and watch the game, listen to music, or just catch up with friends. The basement features a second full bar. If you look straight back to the wall from the bottom of the steps, there is an old painting of a girl that is said to haunt the bar.

If you havent checked this place out. Its definitely the place to be. The vibes are right

It was good to watch F1 racing. However it took the waitstaff over an hour to ask if we needed a drink. Overwise I enjoyed the atmosphere and the event.

It was great to finally sit in a bar again and enjoy a drink indoors! I highly recommend their snake bite (cider and ale), but their whisky selection isnt bad, either. Go support your local pub, enjoy a pint, and embrace having some freedoms again!

I think I held high expectations, but was a bit disappointed. The wait time was incredibly long, but I wont hold any fault to the server since he was the only person there. Ordered wings, and they were pretty tasty. I then order a burger with fries and the burger was... okay? It tasted good at first, but then it became very... chewy. The cheese felt a bit mushy and salty. The fries were a bit bland, and I felt sad.

This is a good place.If you are into Premier League Football they have TVs to watch the gamesService is good, food is excellent, prices (given location) is quite comparable.The atmosphere is enjoyable. The bar and bathrooms are well maintained and clean.

Painfully mediocre food, poor garnishes and dangerously hot food. 1 man serving the whole bar, doing his best. The food was nothing to write home about and the beer selection was pedestrian. Likely would not visit again. The picture below is their cheese bread. Looks and tastes like something a 10 year old made in the microwave.

I go to the Celtic Tavern to place bets on the greyhounds and my experiences inthat arena are good.

Great place for lunch! 7 of us went for lunch today and had a great experience. The owner waited on us! We had the Irish Breakfast, Fish N Chips, Shepards Pie, Burritos and Black n Tans, Black Princess and Guinnesss All were very tasty and all my friends were so happy with their food, I had been bragging about my previous experience. I highly recommend this for lunch or dinner!

It was cool for st. Pattys, but it took 25 min for anyone to even notice our table, and by the time we wanted some food their kitchen closed and it was a little frustrating. the drinks were good. Maybe we will try again next time.

Fun place to watch Formula One on TV on Sundays!

Food was so appetizing. Service is consistently great. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.

My homey and I stopped in around noon on a Monday and it was dead as Dillinger. The barkeep was quick to greet me and offer me their beer list. There was a decent selection of beer to choose from: a mix of local micros and regular domestics. There was no Sierra Nevada however, but I wont hold that against them. We ordered food after a while. The menu looked tasty, a lot of traditional Irish foods to choose from. I got a Reuben and my homey ordered Shepards Pie. It only took maybe 10 to 15 mins for grub to get to us. Again, the presentation was decent. The Shepards Pie came with a heaping portion of vegetables; mostly broccoli and cauliflower. The Reuben came with fries served in a mini deep fryer basket. It also came with Cole slaw. My homes ate the sheeyit out of the Shepards Pie but mostly left the vegetables alone. I killed my sammich and fries bug the Cole slaw was much too sweet for my taste. The Reuben itself was merely average. Like the Cole slaw, it was too sweet. It was soggy too on the bottom piece of bread due to juice runoff from the slaw. It took the better part of an hour for the bill finally arrive. Without drinks and including tip, it was about 30 bones. Id probably go back to bet on the races and maybe try the food once more, but there are plenty of other places in Denver that Id like to try first.

Good Irish decor but the food was very disappointing. I ordered irish breakfast . Nothing irish about it. Deep fried bacon hard and also fake white pudding.No black pudding and one fried egg.American style beans . For whopping $16 total rip off. Save your money.

My burger was ordered medium rare and came out (a half hour later) well done on a stale sesame seed bun. Fries were crinkle cut and tasted like those frozen things my mom used to bake in the oven. Server never checked back with us for about 20 mins and offered to get me something else but I just wanted out of there. My husband said his fish and chips were OK. We will not be going back which is too bad because we used to enjoy the food very much at the old location. Maybe the place is more about drinking and gambling now than the food.

Nice Irish bar at a good location for pre-covid post-game drinks. Comfy seating and a snug or two lend a nice atmosphere even when its slow.

Came here while I was walking around the downtown Denver area. With covid-19, sports really aren’t a thing anymore but believe it or not, this place has still got it: Soccer, horse racing, etc. Basically all the sports that can still go on outside golf; although, I’m sure they still have it when bigger tournaments are on like the Master’s. The beer and food were great and the staff friendly as well. Look forward to coming back to this place once things have normalized.

Thought it was a sports book but its not but played the horses. Had fun everyone was cordial and nice. Wish we had a real sport book in town.

Food was super flavorful. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. This place has an awesome atmosphere.

Shepherds Pie was really good! Service was good on attentiveness, but food coming out was slow. I loved the old Celtic Tavern so much! This is not quite as good, for food anyway. Best for drinking.

Great place to come in for a pint of Guinness or whatever your drink of choice is. We had some delicious food and watched soccer. Fun atmosphere and a nice place to spend several hours with your friends. We were in town from NY and really loved the place. We loved it so much that we went twice in two days! You wont regret your decision to go there.

Nice pub feel. Great selection of whiskeys as one might expect from from the name. Food is fine for happy hour. The fried pickles are tempura battered halves. IMHO amazing! And I loved the fresh made tortilla chips!

This is a cool building. Theyre open for formula 1 racing and soccer earlier than their hours say. Food was average. Mimosa was delicious. A sports bar with class... and horse race betting.

The staff is welcoming like a small neighborhood bar but, with the ambiance of a sophisticated & classy establishment. They have an array of various eats (from the usual bar food to unique traditional Irish dishes) The bartenders and servers are knowledgeable in their craft and are friendly while doing so. The off track betting area is a wonderful place for entertainment! The tellers are fast and proficient, as well as, personable and fun! Overall, Celtic on the Market, is a great place to frequent!!!

Started our Nightly Spirits haunted pub crawl here and had a lot of fun. The beer selection lands right in the middle of good and great. Gambling can be done downstairs, bartenders serve nicely, and the room downstairs that used to be the citys tunnels contains weird stuff to see. I do not know if the bar would still appeal to me outside of the tour, but it made the first stop great.

Yo, I used to go to this place and thought it shut down when it was on 20th and market or Blake? What ever. Im very happy to see they only moved it to a new location. Kristina our server was awesome, as was Q down stairs, shes the best. Just an over all amazing experience every time. I thought we lost another Denver Jewell. Im so relieved they are here in this new awesome spot. Ill be back soon and often. Chill off track gaming experience and always happy faces to greet you.

This is a good solid place to come watch some soccer or have some local or British beers. However, I would say the menu is pretty basic stuff and isnt overly impressive. More of a good sports bar with a Celtic flavor than anything else. They have had great crowds for the World Cup lately.

Nice bar and restaurant. Took along time to get food ....not that the kitchen was slow. But the service was. My friend waited an hour and half for a chicken sandwich. My other friend who works in the industry literally brought my food too me. Even though she shouldnt have to wait tables if she doesnt work there.

Love this place. It was so great to come back and visit and support Noel and the staff.
