EXTREMELY unprofessional staff from the general manager Benjamin all down the line. Reservation was not ready, staff will talk over the customer and not listen to any needs and issues. When I asked not to talk over me the manager yelled, “hit the panic button” if you want to deal with children for your moving needs, this is the place. There are other UHaul locations that will better suit your needs.
Ive been to a bunch of U-Haul stores. This is one of the better ones. Easy access, decent parking lot, larger retail space so well stocked and not crazy packed with stuff. Helpful staff.
Rented a 10 truck bought moving supplies and rented one of the storage units on site. By far the easiest thing I have done in Denver so far. Very very friendly. Customer Service is a perfect 10. Thanks again for an awesome experience. Oh and buildings including rental office is very clean.
Park Hill U-Haul had my equipment ready as reserved, in ready to go condition. It is useful they are open 7 to 7 and I was able to return the equipment earlier than I thought I would be able to. Good service!
The new vans are a Miracle of engineering. Super easy to drive, tight smooth control, pretty decent gas mileage, backup camera, and PLENTY of space. And the staff are just as wonderful and helpful. My son and I are all moved into the new apartment now, couldnt have done it without you!

We just got a storage unit here and so far we are very pleased with the location and customer service we received! Ben was very helpful.
My girlfriends dad was working and putting stuff away in his storage unit. When the General Manager Benjamin approached him and yelling which followed into profanity. She was on the phone, and he was yelling so loud it was like if he was in the room with us. Ive never heard anyone be so unprofessional and abusive to someone that is a paying customer. He a also put his own lock on his storage unit, so hes been locked out of the unit for 3 days now. It was uncalled for, and something should be done about this person whom had no right to talk to him in that way. It was so rude, no one should have to endure that type of treatment...
The attendant was courteous, professional and politely explained everything to me, prices and I then found out that the trailers were not charging mileage. I was unaware of this throughout this time.

Rented a 10ft u-haul and returned it to the location within the correct time period and now they have charged me for an extra day and extra insurance. This place will try and rip you off. Now I have to fight thier collections for this bogus charge.
***WARNING***DONT USE UHAUL***I made a reservation for a truck and a unit with a free month. When inpicked up the truck I was told to have it back early for another persons reservation. I agreed with the stipulation that I would be able to move into my new unit and have 24 hour access with the additional 10 dollar charge. I was not given any unit and the reservation for it was never acknowledged, though the truck reservation was. Not having the unit to move my stuff into, it became impossible to empty the truck for return at the previously agreed time. Location was terrible as they knew prior to me renting the truck that I could only have it back at the agreed time with the unit to move into. The employees at this location did not honor the reservation for the unit thereby breaking the agreement to have the truck back early. Then these employees called and left threatening messages, charged me 400 dollars for the truck rental, and I did not receive a free month. In fact, I was flagged and not allowed to rent a unit at all there, information discovered when I brought the truck there to unload. The whole process took days and was a nightmare I wont soon forget.Sadly this is not the first incident I have had with uhaul.. the last time I used uhaul I was charged for having the truck for 4 days when I had it for only 24 hours. I had to pay the bill on this before renting the truck for the above mentioned nightmare. I had no choice or I wouldnt have been able to save my stuff.Its funny the focus was on the past truck rental and current truck rental, and nothing was even mentioned of my reservation for a unit I needed to unload the truck that, again, was the agreement before picking up the truck.My other nightmare with uhaul is when my wife tried to have a hitch installed on loo ur SUV and was charged $200 and the job was never done. Okay, it happens right? What shouldnt have happened was the refusal to refund us our money for NO work done and took us over 5 weeks of fighting to get our money back.I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AND I SUGGEST NO ONE DOES AS WELL BECAUSE:IF YOU USE UHAUL, THEN YOU WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:-NO ACCOUNTABILITY-NO MANNERS-NO ETHICS-MAKE THREATS TO CUSTOMERS-DONT LIVE UP TO THEIR END OF CONTRACTS-OVERCHARGE-CHARGE FOR NO WORK-DONT HONOR RESERVATIONS-BULLY YOU INTO PAYING MORE THAN EXPECTED-AND IM SURE THERE IS MORE.. I didn’t get their names, but the two young ladies working there the morning of March 31st were great. We had never used a tow Dolly before and they were able to show us how to hook it up and we’re very kind about our general ignorance. They did a great job!

Great experience with the two team members we worked with on Saturday 1/30. We rented a motorcycle trailer for a short drop off. They were a big help on a very stressful day and we appreciated it! Would recommend this team to a friend.
Cindy and Adelina deserve a raise and praise for their great customer service skills. We had trailers reserved at 2 other uhaul dealers in Colorado and drove multiple places totally 6 hours of drive time to be find our reserve trailers were gone. Once we found park hill uhaul, they had us in and out in minutes and were very kind and empathetic to the other problems we encountered. Thanks ladies. You saved the day for us. Reserved a truck and trailer a month ago and two days before I am ready to pick it up, they move the location of the truck to someplace 20 miles across town and the location of the trailer to a different location another 12 miles away from that one. So now I have to spend half my morning driving around town, thanks.If u-haul were a PROPERLY run organization they would figure out the logistics of renting.
Friendly enough staff although when I first got there I kind of had to go looking for them as they were all in the break room chatting. Ok selection.

Calling this place I will admit went well. They were nice as can be and were very helpful. However, I had an after hours pickup. My driver was, for some reason, unable to log into the app or website and couldnt get the code to get the key. He tried the number on the door but still had no luck because apparently the truck was blocked in and couldnt be driven out. He had to sleep in his pickup and wait til they open to get the 15 truck.Be careful about setting up after hours pickup here.

Destiny realllly took care of me. I rented a truck and a trailer to go from Clearwater, Florida all the way to Arizona. We ended up needing to drop the trailer off in Colorado. Destiny spent 20 minutes with me making sure that it was all set. She and her general manager, Ben, were kind and helpful.
What a waste of time, i made a reservation .I told them a penske international was the truck i was using to tow a trailer.No problem there, stand in line for 20 minutes just to hear micheal ( A-Hole)Announce to the room, he will not rent to me in a rental truck,What a douche. What a waste of time, should of said that when booking the trailer.
These guys have been incredibly helpful and accommodating, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure I was happy.... Even when there was a flood in one unit that affected many other units, including mine. They made the inspection and claim process as easy as they could and my claim was paid in less than 2 weeks!

I returned an auto tow dolly and was pressured to undo everything myself although obviously a senior with a bad limp and disabled plate. Very limited parking. 1 month free storage with rental but no elevator - up 20 stairs.

Tried getting help and get answers for my questions I had, but one of the managers I believed was named Robert, didnt give me his interest and barely helped me. Others seemed friendly and up-going but wish my time wasnt wasted during my visit.
I love these people. This rental was for business and Ive got lots of trucks. The truck I brought them was defective. Everybody and his sister and brother were trying to figure out why the blinkers on the trailer wouldnt work. . . Finally they told me to bring another truck. I did the next day. All good. Price was perfect. No complaints, and I really do like these people. Yep this is my U-Haul place for work.

Too expensive
This place is the worst. I have never written a review about any company but I feel the need to warn people about this place. This place is horrible. I can’t stress this enough. A lady is walking around the parking lot telling people they can’t park in certain areas and then when they question her she belittles them to the point they leave extremely upset. She has literally made three people yell at her with one of those people driving off. Another employee is going somewhere periodically and when he returns he wreaks of weed. The manager acted like we were inconveniencing his life by having wiring installed for a hitch. The installer leaves to take break and then when he comes back him and the lady earlier start blasting the music. I ask the manager how long this is going to take and he tells me he has no idea while shrugging his shoulders. Really? No idea? It has literally been two hours. There is no way it takes two hours to install wiring on a brand new vehicle that was only missing the harness part. I’m guessing I will be here another 2 hours after they told me thirty minutes ago there was only 20 minutes of work left. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. This place is completely unorganized and the customer service is terrible absolutely terrible.And one last thing, they just told it’s not working. And they have no clue why. So now we have to wait and see how long it’s going to take to uninstall this broken piece.I wish I could give them no stars but it makes you pick one.The address to the place is 4800 Colorado Blvd.
The night before our reservation I received a call from uhaul moving our reservation from South Lakewood to this location (30 minutes further from my apartment) and pushed 4 hours later into the morning. Already way behind schedule for our 10 hour drive, I showed up at this location and the trailer I rented was not there. Of course there was some kind of mix up, but the manager told me there would be a partial refund back on my credit card. 45 minutes later they get the trailer back and Im on my way. Now a month later Ive had to follow up multiple times and am still waiting for that money back. Totally incompetent manager at this location.Avoid uhaul if you can, but if you must use them leave yourself plenty of extra time. Any reservation you think you have is essentially meaningless.
Where to begin. The worst customer service Ive experienced in quite some time and maybe the worst ever. The attitudes of the employees was unbelievable rude. I wouldnt speak to anyone they way the spoke to us. They would not answer questions or give clarity to the charges, just gave us attitude. They charge for mileage and gas, the $19.95 turned into $45. We anticipated the charge not to be $19.95; however, we also expected to pay for gas OR mileage, NOT both. That is a ripoff. I would NEVER come here again and would not rent from Uhaul in the future because of our experience. I would suggest management have a discussion with their employees regarding their attitude and customer service as it is nonexistent.
I made a reservation on Wednesday, May 13th to have a wiring harness installed on Friday, May 15th at 1:30 p.m. I stopped in early at 11:30 a.m. to see if it would expedite the installation. I was told no, there were 2 cars in front of me. I returned at 1:20 p.m. I should have known I was in trouble when they pulled a car into the work bay as soon as I arrived. At 2:15 p.m., my car had still not moved. I asked if there was a delay. I was told, Corporate managers were here today so we are a little backed up. At 3:15 p.m., my car was STILL sitting where it was parked. I asked for my keys and left. Not once was I updated on the progress of my vehicle or even spoken to. Go to this place if you want to feel disrespected, unvalued, invisible, and waste your time. As I left, they asked if I would like to reschedule. Needless to say, I will be taking my car elsewhere.
Excellent customer service and support, they helped me determine what size hitch my vehicle needed, they checked to make sure I had the electrical to connect a trailer and quoted me a price to install. Renting a truck took no time at all, they provided a convenient low cost insurance plan payment that covered the rental, and explained the cost to rent per day and per mile driven. Theres also a key drop off, if they are closed when you return your rental.
Every time Ive visited this u-haul. They have great costume service even when they are slammed. Their entire crew is on point about everything. And they park line pros. They explain everything to you and will take the extra step to help you understand it not matter how naive you are. Keep up the good work you guys
Adding fees at the end with absolutely no indication prior to the rental (or even explanation as to what they are for) that I absolutely would not have agreed to had I known about all these predatory fees. This is at the best terrible service and at worst straight up illegal, and I will be disputing this with my bank. What absolutely horrible business practice.
I just spoke to someone on the phone regarding making a payment on my account in an attempt to bring it current, but cannot currently pay the full balance. Instead of making it easy, he told me I had to come into the store to make any partial payments, they only do full payments over the phone. It is snowing outside and I choose to not have a vehicle, so I’m not going to pay an Uber driver to take me to your dumb office to make a partial payment. I am however calling your corporate office to discuss this further.
This place is TRASH!! They overcharged me over a hundred dollars and also gave me a broken trailer which resulted in me receiving a citation, even though the citation was a warning if they had done their job this would have never happened. Once confronting them about all of this they refused to take responsibility and told me they did what they were suppose to so just to cover their butts. This place and their management needs to do better and be better. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!
Wish I didnt have to give one star. I have a medical condition to where I cant wear a mask, was forcefully told to leave cause didnt have a mask. I do a lot of business with them cause Im a mover so I wont be coming to this place anymore
Drove 1200 miles from Lafayette Colorado to Bend, but uhaul decided we somehow drove 2700 and charged us an extra $600. Been trying for 4 weeks to get it resolved with zero help from them. Will NEVER use uhaul again.
The staff here is fantastic! I rent several trucks a month, and will often go further out of my way and pay for the mileage to use this location specifically because the staff is so good. If you have special needs or requests they will work to meet them. There are several others nearby. Make sure you use this location!
The charged me 73.00 dollars on my card after I left, in which the tank was a inch or two from Half tank but it was clean still,.I feel I was not treated as other customers because this guy
Wow, just pathetic. Reservation made weeks in advance only to have them leave a voicemail two days moving across the state to tell me they have neither of the trailers I reserved available for my move. Offer no condolences or try to help make things right. Call them back and they dont pick up the phone. Dont give these people your business. Cowards.
If I could give this location negative stars, I would. They created an absolute disaster on one of the busiest moving weekends a year, Labor day. Called a week ahead and made reservation for busy holiday weekend. Day of move they called no less than a half dozen times to confirm the reservation, only to find out after standing in line for an hour that cash payments arent accepted unless you give them your first born child. Literally.Staff is totally disorganized, only ONE person working the counter on a busy holiday weekend, hence the hour long wait. There is a total disconnect between corporate U-haul and the actual locations themselves, as they all have individual requirements for rentals. BEWARE!!! Some locations require you to leave a passport, car title or even a birth certificate to pay the bill with cash, even though you give them your credit card information to make the reservation in the first place. They wont tell you this over the phone if you ask, because corporate has no idea what the special requirements of each location may be, and they wont tell you that either.The location cancelled our reservation on their own, corporate then kept us on hold for over an hour to re-instate the reservation that shouldnt have been cancelled in the first place, only to find out the truck we had reserved was no longer available. Terrible service, management at this location, Billy Rutledge, was incredibly rude and did nothing but hustled us out the door and was the one that cancelled the reservation in the first place.Fortunately a young lady with corporate was able to fix the situation, find us a truck and get us on our way.Ive used U-haul many times and have never had any complaints. This was the first time Id used this location and would NOT recommend. This location is poorly managed, simply put. Avoid a disaster!!!

Reserved a truck online, confirmed via email. Arrived to pick up and no truck. All overbooked. No move for us today. Unbelievable. What is the point of a reservation. Never use uhaul again.
I have used this location many times. You can check-in in advance online and the customer service is great. Well worth the drive even if its not your closest location. Its clean with lots of rentals and space available.
Very clean nice storage space
We had a good experience there. We were given prompt and courteous service and the inspection afterward was fair and they walked us through everything. I think they were short staffed that day and we had to wait in line for a bit to pick up the truck, but it was a very smooth process after that. We made sure to clean out the truck and fold the blankets so as not to incur any additional charges and there were no surprises when we checked out. Overall I would recommend them!

I rented a 8 pickup from this location on 7/5/18. Everyone was kind and polite checking the truck out to me at around 7:30ish. I returned the truckto the same location some time before noon the same day and the check in went just as smooth. It was nice to finally work with a competent local Uhaul. Based on this service I would give 4 stars unfortunately it did not end there.I received a voicemail from Mark the next day 7/6/18 asking me when I would return the truck. I called back and Mark aggressively claimed I had not returned the truck. Saying things like Its my truck! and you returned it to the wrong location. Apparently the truck is at the Parker location and being the last to have checked it out I was to blame. I have never been to the Parker location and after saying that Mark agreed to look elsewhere for the problem. I then called the national customer service and they saw that my reservation was picked up and dropped off at this location, so clearly it was in the system that I held up my end of the deal.Like I said a 4 star experience turned into a 2 star experience, because the customer was blamed for an internal mess up.
Great boxes, great service, clean, friendly and efficient. We are pleased to be using them for our moving supplies, and have had great experiences renting vehicles here in the past.
Brian at the warehouse was absolutely amazing and so helpful with helping us get our uboxes. Billy and Tyree at the office were also really helpful on what was a very frustrating day. The staff at the office and warehouse were great all atound.

This place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT ESPECIALLY A FELLOW BY THE NAME OF QUINCE PLEASE GUYS SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND PICK ANOTHER LOCATION PLEASE READ ALL THHE WAY THRU reserved a truck 7 days prior to pickup at another location and truck wasn’t available there so they found me one at the 4800 Colorado location and offered me a $50 composition and I thought was fair I arrived on site at 4800 Colorado location 1 new lady was working the place all by her self I had to wait over a hour and a half to finally get seen it took another half hour to finally get my paperwork done while the lady helping me stated she’d been left alone for hours already and is new and don’t know how to do much at this time 10-12 more people arrived still no help for the lady when she finally got a chance to give me truck she said she couldn’t find the key but as soon as manager got back they would leave key in truck so I can pick up after hours I arrived after hours and the lady said the manager Quince said I have to wait till tomorrow to get my truck while I’m already being charged I asked where’s my key he said we’re closed come back tomorrow I told him I already paid for my truck I just need the key to get going he said I’m not giving you your key and with a attitude like that I might not give you your truck tomorrow while he started to curse at me while he closed the door to had a schedule set in place now I’m having to miss work to deal with U-Haul to get another truck I’m a working man that can’t afford to miss days of work all thanks to this guy Quince not being able to manage the situation correctly I don’t know what U-Hauls policy is but from what I been thru they need to train there employees to handle the customers

Everything went smoothly. Got what I needed done in a timely manner. Everyone was nice and helpful.
Intentionally misled me into entering into a second rental period more than doubling my charge and then proceeded to argue about it over the phone and hung up on me while I still had questions. Completely immoral employees. Will never use Uhaul again after working with these shady guys.
Got a storage pod with them. A week later I find out they sent it to California for no reason, and charged my credit card for $1200. It took me 6 weeks to get the box sent back to Denver and 4 months to get them to refund my money. Now Im waiting for the box to arrive at my house, scheduled for 8am. Its now 2:45pm and the only person to contact me was the sub-contractor they hired to deliver the box. He was never contacted about the appointment until I called Uhaul after 3 hours of waiting to ask where my storage pod was. He got to the Uhaul location and called me back again asking if my storage pod is supposed to be empty (its not). Finally Uhaul calls me back to ask me whether I got my storage pod delivered yet (obviously not) and whether I was expecting it to arrive on a truck or a trailer. How am I supposed to know how theyre delivering it? The guy acted like it was totally normal that the delivery was 7 hours late and the customer and delivery guy both had no idea where the storage pod was.Every experience Ive ever had with this company has been an absolute nightmare. I should have learned my lesson before (massive delays and rescheduling and double bookings causing me to lose days of work and vacation time I intended to spend packing and moving). Now Im finished. I will absolutely never use this company ever again, and you shouldnt either.
Well-run establishment who discounted the 4 hours I went past my 24 hour rental. Taking the recommended size I needed for a move across town was worth going up in fees from what I had expected Id pay.Everything fit in one trip but wouldnt have worked with my initial intention.Prices were the best compared to Enterprise and Ryder trucks. Air conditioning worked. Keys for tail gate padlock provided. The passenger door lock was broken, but breachable. The pick up of the engines accelerator was nothing to put to the test in taking a left turn, but it takes adaptation by the driver and is made up for by torque to haul a load. Pack stuff like it will shift. It will shift and things will fall that are stacked.Large selection of retail goods to help make a move. Dont get an appliance dolly, as that is just a flat square of 2×2 plastic on caster wheels. Theres the normal dolly, with upright frame and wheels to carry a large load. on the truck, which isnt rented until you break the plastic seal. But is the same price as the little-used appliance dolly.At the site, rental space is available of various sq. feet, but not as well-priced as the place I chose 10 blocks away.So, though this is a bad area to be out after dark when foot traffic is often homeless and there are blocks full of warehouses and its the central I-70 industrial park, its a service sector diamond in the rough. Quick access off from 1-70 @Colorado Blvd, northbound exit. Watch out, no on-ramp to westbound I-70 while going south on Colorado.

Best u-haul truck rental and storage location in the UNIVERSE, Mark and J.R. are some really good guy, they helpped me find exactly what I needed to make my shuttle moves, so much easier and efficient, I would never use no other u-haul facility while Im in Denver Colorado, u definitely feel like somebodys brother, when I walk out of there, thanks u-haul c u soon

OVER CHARGED! I rented a 10ft truck for a 48 hr period from these people. Asked specifically 3TIMES if it would fit into my 7 6 parking garage and was told YES. I get to my place and its too tall. So I return the truck in UNDER 24 hours and I am charged $150 for the 2 day period, even though it was returned early and clean. I filed a complaint with UHaul and havent heard back or received a refund to my CC . Plus I have never seen slower people in my life. One cashier and 9 people in line. It took almost an hour to pick the truck up in the first place. I want my refund UHaul! If I could leave zero stars, I would

I rented a storage for my son’s belongings for one month. I gave the keys for the lock to the attendant and told her that if my son doesn’t come and take his staff within the month to clear the space. I also told her that I was from Las Vegas. Now they are sending me a bill on a monthly bases. This company is unethical and I raccomend that you don’t do business with them.
Uhaul screwed up royally! Ed, the owner, went above and beyond to fix the situation. He is awesome! Dont hesitate to use this location.
I had an absolutely terrible experience with the UHaul of 4800 Colorado BLVD, Denver. Using Uhauls website I reserved one from this location. I completed the online pre check out and filled out all the necessary information as this was suppose to save me some time during pick up. On Friday, the day of the reservation, I made several attempts to call the location to make sure my trailer was there but nobody answered all day. Unsure of whether or not my trailer was even there, I proceeded to UHaul after work. There was one man working the counter, Michael, and two customers in front of me. He handled the man who was first, and as he attempted to handle to woman Michael starts sharing personal stories with this young lady about his past jobs. He tells her a very boring story about when he was a hotel clerk and an angry customer grabbed him by the tie... Michael, I do not care about your boring stories. I do not wish to know you personally, I only want professional service. As he tells his story, I just sit there and wait. While helping the young lady, Michael receives a phone call from somebody named Bill. Michael takes the phone call and starts telling Bill about the irate customer I mentioned earlier. At this point, I am waiting for 30+ minutes. I clap my hands and say, Michael! Get off the phone man, tell your story later! We are waiting, there are now two customers behind me who have been waiting for 10-15+ minutes as well. Michael gets off the phone and continues helping the woman. Finally, it is my turn. Our interaction lasts only 5 minutes, as I completed the pre reservation online. He gives me a contract and tells me somebody will help me load around back. I drive around back, and to no surprise at all, there are no employees anywhere near. I find my trailer, AT5608K, and load myself. I complete a walk around and test the lights. The left rear turn signal does not work. I take out my multi-meter and confirm that all 4 trailer pins on my truck produce 12 volts. I know the trailer needs a bulb, but being that I just spent 45minutes waiting inside, and another 15 minutes loading the trailer alone, I can not waste anymore time here. It should take only a few minutes to change a bulb, but I know that this Uhaul will probably take an hour+, so I leave anyway, without a left turn signal. Who inspected this trailer? Why didnt they check the lights? I used the trailer for my intended purpose and was able to return it much earlier than expected. I paid for the entire weekend including all day Monday, 07-30. I was suppose to return it today at 6pm, but was able to drop it off at 6am, 1 hour before the store opens. I saw Michael outside and asked him if I could get Monday pro-rated, I cant I cant I cant, was his answer. I pressed a little harder and he told me to talk to the manger, pointing at the doors, go inside Michael says. I approached the doors, and they are locked. I yell to Michael, across the yard, the doors are locked! Can you get him for me? Michaels response is, I cant I cant, come back later. Literally moments ago I was told to go talk to the manger, now Im being told to come back? Seriously? A mechanic was outside the garage, and i briefly explained my situation, and asked him to grab the manger. He was nice enough to go inside, and try. He comes back outside saying, the manager doesnt want to see you right now, you gotta come back at 7am. Its 6:15am, I understand youre not open yet but are kidding me? What a grossly unprofessional and pathetic excuse for a manager. He is inside the building, he is on the clock, on company time, getting paid and he cant see me, a paying customer because its technically 45 minutes too early? Wow. That would not fly in my industry, at my job the customer is the most important thing, period. Does U-haul agree? I will not use Uhaul in the future.

Nice facility, but it is poorly managed. I had a friends card on file to use for one charge, then when it came to pay remaining charges before moving out I called to update with my card. They said they charged my card, but 3 days later they charged my friends card again. I was also only 3 days over my previous month when I moved my stuff out and they charged me for a whole month because they dont pro-rate for partial months. If you are 1 day over, too bad. Choose any other storage location besides this one. They have bad customer service and they will screw you on charges if they can.
Stay far away! This has got to be the worst storage facility on the planet. The customer service was horrible, was standing around waiting in an empty lobby for almost 10 minutes. Also, the storage units themselves are barely tall enough to stand in, and for most units you have to use a set of stairs on wheels to access your unit, which is very difficult to load or unload. Overall this facility is just not easy to use.
