Great experience. Last time I visited a Rockler store was over 50 years ago at their original store in Minnesota. The Colorado store has vast inventory. I was impressed that they stocked specialty hinges. I needed a SOSS hinge that I thought I would never find. They had them in stock. i was impressed with the tool and machine displays. I am planning to sign up for one of the Make and Take sessions.

I love this store a little too much. Since beginning my woodworking hobby a few years ago, Ive spent a lot of time here. Without exception, Ive found the staff members very helpful. Theyre always happy to answer my questions and point me in the right direction with a new project. Ive also taken two classes here—a woodworking fundamentals course and another one on finishing. Other than purchasing the wood itself (which I source from a local hardwoods supplier), Rockler is one of my go-to places for woodworking supplies and needs.

My experiences are always amazing, educational and enjoyable. Great customer service and I always find what I need.

Friendly and helpful staff! They now have a lot more options for quality lumber at reasonable prices. Best of all, they give a military discount, which I really appreciate. It makes the drive up from Colorado Springs worthwhile.

It was like going back in time. I forgot what it was like to shop somewhere that not only were the staff friendly, but insanely knowledgeable. More over they were willing to answer beginner questions with enthusiasm and encouragement not judgement. I forgot the gentlemans name who halped me, but he answered a bunch of questions about router bits for the guy in front of me and then turned around and answered even more for me. Then he walked me around the store to show me other options and gave me pointers on things to think about in the future. Truly a brilliant experience all around.

Their website said it was in stock. Drove 20 miles to pick it up. No sander just a lady being rude. You would think a big company like Rockler could keep their site up to date.

I always get great service when I am at Rockler store in Denver! This time I came for just one item. I didn’t have time to explore as I usually do, and since the store was remolded I enjoy Rockler more than ever.

My first time in a Rockler store. This store is quite organized and they have a wonderful selection of woods. Everyone was quite helpful.

I dont know much about woodworking but they seem to have a great selection of everything you would possibly need to make furniture or any kind of wood project. Specialty woods, hinges, handles and pulls, tools, ventilation/air filtration, pen making supplies etc. They were fairly busy when I went but I could hear they were friendly and helpful to everyone in the store.I went specifically for 1/8 and/or 1/4 plywood or hardwood. I only saw plywood in Baltic Birch, with not solid woods that met my needs.I would shop here again if I had any woodworking needs, I feel like this seems like a great local place to shop.

I have a 70 mile drive to visit this location but the staff here has always been super helpful and cheerful. However I went yesterday and the lady behind the counter seemed rushed and annoyed to have questions thrown her way. Not like she was busy for sure. Rockier lost out on a $9500 sale today which went to woodcraft instead. I may be back but won’t be making the long trip to just check in and see what’s available.

They have a good selection of tools and specialty items for woodworkers. The system isnt current on inventory though so I suggest calling ahead to see if they have what you need. I did call and was told they didnt have one item, did have another, but when I arrived they ended up having both. That didnt help me though as I had already purchased the other from the other woodworking store. Would have preferred to just make one purchase, but in the end I got everything I needed. Looks like they just added a larger selection of lumber, but I didnt have time to look through and see how their pricing compares to the specialty lumber stores in town.

I love this place! Ive been in there multiple times over the last 6 months and every single time all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have no idea what I am talking about half the time but they do a great job of educating me. They have a great selection of jigs and tools that always find their way my to garage each time I go.

Cant say enough positive things about the staff here. They are very knowledgeable and happy to talk shop. One VERY important aspect, in my opinion, is that they will openly tell you that when they have little experience, and direct you to another member who might be able to better help.If you enjoy woodworking, be prepared to spend money, as there is no shortage of tools, equipment, accessories, and more. My only criticism is that they need a bigger space.

Most of the time the customer service is great, but one female employee is consistently short and rude regardless of what I’ve come in to purchase. It’s a shame.This time I came in looking for an item I’d looked up online before driving across town to pick it up. Website said it was in stock, so I headed over. When I couldn’t find the item where the others were (this was the dust collection bag for a Jet Dust collector) I went to the counter. The employee I mentioned came up and I explained what I was looking for. She first asked if I had the item number. When I said I did because I had looked it up online and it said it was in stock she dismissively said “we don’t carry it in the store any longer and “in stock” means in stock at the main warehouse (something the website doesn’t clarify).As usual with this woman, her tone and manner was as though I was inconveniencing her. In addition she offered no other assistance and simply walked off. I mention this because this incident isn’t the only one. I’ve shopped at Rockler for YEARS and most of the staff is great. But this woman is consistently dismissive or rude.I checked with my local Woodcraft store website and they showed they had the item in stock. I called ahead and asked, and they confirmed they had it. I drove 40 minutes in the opposite direction, but was able to get what I needed there. They were professional and helpful. Which frankly isn’t too much to ask.

Awesome store. They were doing some construction so it was a bit cramped but still super easy to find what I needed (and everything was in stock). Staff was super friendly and available, which seems like a gimme but it’s really night and day compared to the orange and blue stores.

Their wood selection is amazing! And the staff is suuuuper attentive. Definitely will be coming back!

Its a good place to go but very limited on what they carry. Way over priced on some stuff as is most specialty stores. Other then that IT WAS GOOD. Very good customer service.just wished they carry more wood and misc. Things.

I got tired of the poor quality at the big box stores and decided to look around... after my first visit to Rockler it’s become my go-to for all my woodworking supplies. I was gifted some pen turning blanks and pen kits from my cousin over the holidays but I have not done this since high school. Even if just popping in for a sack of screws, I’m unable to walk out of this place without 3 or more of the coolest gadgets I’ve ever seen.Vacuum fittings & dust collection adapters were like sorcery to me for decades but thanks to Rockler I can make square hoses compatible with round blast gates if I so desire. I spend more time making t-track gizmos just for giggles than actual woodworking these days cause there’s always something new in that section every time I go in. Don’t even get me started on the router innovations...

The staff was very helpful and very knowledgable of all the products in the store. The gave me great suggestions as I am still a beginner woodworker. One thing that I did not like was the exceptions that are in place for military discount, they will not apply the discount to power tools or power tool accessories. I will not be purchasing any power tools or accessories from Rockler as Home Depot offers military discount on everything.

Wonderful customer service. Even though it is a way to go, I will be going back again. Also will be looking into their classes.

The store itself is great, but given that its 2021, it would be nice if some of the older male employees could stop being condescending to women who are shopping there. I went in with my boyfriend recently, and several male employees only addressed him when we were talking with them. Even when I answered their questions about what tools we have and details about our projects (between the two of us, I have more knowledge when it comes to woodworking and such), they still only addressed him. When I was checking out, they asked my boyfriend for his phone number, assuming I didnt have an account there, then asked him questions about MY project and details about our tools (questions which he didnt know the answer to). Please talk with your employees about how to not treat women like theyre clueless.Note: there were several women who helped us as well who were absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable! Id imagine they also deal with all kinds of microaggressions and condescension from the older men there.

I was in on Tuesday, March 16th around 1pm. A guy with dark hair carrying his Red Bull waited on me. He was so off hand when I showed him what I was trying to do. I had more questions but he just walked away from me after he showed me a can of sealant I should use. I was shocked. I was hoping to get some help with how I could improve what I was making - that guy was not interested in the least in spending any time with me.Service....what has happened to it?

This store is awesome, think about their associates similar to the really helpful Home Depot staff but MUCH more knowledgable. You can ask a specific question, or something more general like “How do I make cabinets.” And you’ll get an excellent response either way. Highly recommend this store and it’s helpful staff.

Thank you to the people who work here. The employees patiently let me ask my questions and can usually provide a good answer/solution. It helps that most of the employees appear to be wood workers themselves. Rockler is also about the only brick and mortar place that I can buy wood working supplies that the other hardware stores dont care to sell. Thanks

Pretty cool place.1st time there

I have mixed feelings about this store. They do have items that you can get right away if you dont want to wait for an online order. However, they have reduced their inventory. Items that they run on sale (I get the mailings) are sometimes out. You would think if its on sale they would have plenty of inventory. As far as the staff, it is hit and miss. Some of the employees arent that knowledgable and some are. If you have an issue, I get the sense they are not enthusiastic about solving your problem. They just dont give off the vibe that they really care about customer service. A lot of the time, they just tell you to order it online. If I know what item I want, the store is fine. But I would almost rather get my woodworking products from another source rather than deal with the employees.

First the website In Store inventory is pointless if all inventory is reserved and the website does not represent what is actually available. Second employees just don’t seem to care or want your business. Was told the item was sold out. Asked why since the website said items were available. I was told all were reserved. Nothing else. Employee should have offered to take my name when more quality arrived or if one item came off reserve. Lost my business because someone just didn’t care about me as a customer or want to do their job.

The service was great. I did not get the name of the gentleman assisting me. He was very helpful, though he had the must on (which was good) I could tell that he was smiling from just his eyes. Thank you, keep up the good work

Its great that this store exist, but it is clearly catered to the retired woodworker that wakes up at 9.All Im saying is 9am is to late to open for a store that supplies tools for woodworkers. I always find myself staring at the clock waiting for yall to open. :)

I originally went to a couple big box hardware stores in search of a 1 3/4 cylindrical cam lock but they only had shorter versions. Luckily for me I did a google search and found Rockler had exactly what I was looking for. If youve never been in before I highly recommend for wood working and miscellaneous furniture and cabinet hardware parts. I felt like a kid in a candy store! Unfortunately I didnt have enough time to peruse the aisles but I felt like I could have killed a couple hours looking at all the cool products they stock. Highly recommend and will be back again when I have more time!

Made my first and only order with Rockler and was charged twice for the order. This was no small sum for the order. I received an alert from my credit card company of potentially fraudulent activity, so I checked my statement and there were 2 identical charges from Rockler. I have one order number and only placed one order. When I contacted them they were not helpful about everything and the only thing they would tell me is that they will have their accounting department look into it. Now I am filing dispute with credit card company because Rockler does not want to help with the issue. STAY AWAY!!! Unless you want to pay for everything twice.

Great place! Had just what I needed and guys working there took an interest in me and my project. If you have woodworking needs give them a try. As a bonus their price for the exact stain I needed was cheaper than Home Depot and available in stock for immediate pick up. Highly recommended.

Dont trust their website. I checked to see if local store had a Sawstop outfeed table in stock, they did ( two actually). Drove an hour to get there, only to be told they wouldnt sell it to me. They were holding them and wouldnt say why.

Even when they dont have exactly what I need (I build a lot of unusual projects), they always have something I cant live without!

Good place and they help me find something I needed. Lot of quality tools, woods, etc. I wish this Rockler located up here on 120th and I-25. Would save many miles and traffic. Cheers

I got introduced to this store when I took a beginning woodworking class there a few weeks ago. I have since dropped about $300 on various tools and supplies there. There are only a few good woodworking stores in the Denver metro, and this is one of them. The staff are friendly and helpful. They dont stock as much as other stores, but they do carry plenty of what the average woodworker would need.

I’m in the middle of remodeling our whole house practically by myself. I tried to return a wood grain filler that was recommended to me by one of their employees because I didn’t like it. I had a receipt that I thought was the correct receipt but it wasn’t. The lady behind the counter was very rude. First she questioned why I wanted to return the product because apparently everyone else likes the product and it’s odd that I don’t. Then she actually told me that I didn’t buy the product there, basically accusing me of attempting to pull one over on her. I went back out to my car and found the correct receipt and returned the product. She was not apologetic in and way or even nice. I will never go back there.

I recently went to rockler in Denver Colorado. Ive known about it for a while, but never made it there. While I was there I met the manager Rich at one of the sales associates of Marcel those two gentlemen were top-notch they helped me through every question I had, I ended up spending two hours there. After the two hours I ended up buying a table saw because of Marcels help and a band saw. I cant tell you how incredibly awesome it was to have the customer service that those two offered me. I later called Rich to tell him how enjoyable it was to shop there, also I told him that customer service was top-notch there and that I would pass on as many good things as I could about rockler woodworking. I will continue to go there simply because of the customer service that I received it was by far the best customer service Ive ever had anywhere. I own two companies myself and was very impressed with how they operate and treat customers. I will definitely go back there as many times as I can and suggest that other people go there as well. Thank you so much for everything.

I take business reviews very seriously and don’t write them unless my experience truly was negative. I have shopped at the Denver Rockler store approximately six times over the last two years and only out of necessity because they are twice the distance from where I live as compared to Woodcraft. Of those times, they have had the one item that I needed that the other store did not. However, my shopping experiences leave much to be desired. The staff and the customer service is probably the worst aspect of the store. Of the six times that I have been in the store, I have never once been greeted by any associate in the store. I have never once been asked if I needed help finding something, and if I did need help, I had to go track somebody down, usually while they were standing at the register chatting with each other. I have never felt welcome as a customer in that store and as a professional woodworker, I would think they would treat every customer with respect and have good customer service. As I stated, if I didn’t have to go there out of necessity for a certain product or item, I would avoid that store at all costs. Rockler, if you are reading this, you need to step up your game with your employees. There’s no reason that an associate should walk by me three times without asking if I needed assistance or offering to help find something. And it’s not just one time it’s every time I’ve been in there.

Yes, it can be pricey, but its good quality stuff, and the people know what theyre talking about.

My experience with the Denver Rockler store was like a visit to the Twilight Zone. It was, without question, the worst customer service experience in my life.I live in Colorado Springs, about 60 miles south, and 2.5 hours round-trip with heavy construction on I-25.It was time to upgrade the dust-collection system in my garage/wood shop and so I did my homework. My go-to store is the local Woodcraft here in the Springs; great people, super friendly, sometimes I stop in just to chat and see what everyone is working on.But, my online homework convinced me that Rocklers Dust Right, wall-mounted, 1250 CFM system was the equipment for me. I also bought a Jet 1000 CFM air filtration system while I was at it.I could have (should have) just ordered the items online, enjoyed free shipping, and had it delivered to my doorstep. But I wanted to support the local businessman and I wanted to meet some fellow woodworkers in Denver. Ha.I printed out a self-created, multi-column table in MS Word with all 8 items I wanted to order. Rockler item numbers, description, price, everything needed. I called on Friday morning and told the salesperson that I wanted to drive up the next day and pick up my items. That is when the weirdness began.No, there was no way I could FAX my list to them. No, I could not send it to any email account. When I asked if I could take a photo of the table with my phone and text it to someone you would have thought I was asking to run their puppy over with my vehicle.So, I dictated the item numbers to the salesperson and got my rear end chewed out because I obviously had no idea what an item number was.We finally go it all sorted out and I was assured that they had 7 of my 8 items on the shelves. Well, they didnt.When I arrived on Saturday morning and walked in the front door there was a salesperson on the phone with another customer. It became apparent immediately that the customer on the phone was as big an idiot as I was. As the salesperson barked at the customer on the phone she/he glared at me as if I had irritated his morning routine by darkening the door.It turned out that the main item I made the 2.5-hour trip to pick up was not available. I would have to order it online.When I arrived back home I did a search and found some former customers who had similar experiences at the Denver Rockler store. Their Yelp reviews reflect an embedded culture at this store. My experience was not a fluke apparently.I doubt I will ever buy anything from Rockler again. I have no beef with Rockler.com (corporate) but the Denver Rockler store needs to can all of the gestapo-trained salespeople and start fresh with people who realize that customer service is fairly important.I think I will stick with my go-to woodworking hang out here in the Springs and avoid the big city store. Frankly, I have no idea how the Denver Rockler store stays in business.

Rockler is Amazing!!!!!I build guitars, and they nearly everything I need. I shop online at A LOT, and Rockler has a huge presence. Even on Amazon theyre a notable seller. Im fortunate enough to live just a few miles from there. Their prices are very very competitive with online retailers, and I can go down there and pick it up the same day.If youre in Denver, and in to wood, Rockler is an absolute must!! Very knowledgeable staff, thats attentive to each customers individual needs.
