Above & BEYOND EXEMPLARY Customer Service! I am a Disabled individual & I was trying to & I had a honestly heckuva time trying to get some 5/16 in holes drilled into some Metal plates that I bought from Ace Hardware for a project I am working on. I had tried & failed on my own. I brought a drill & metal plates into this store & explained to staff what I was trying to do & an employee by the name of Alex (I didnt get his last name unfortunately) went above & beyond & even he had a hard time with what at least in my head, I thought would be an easy & quick job. It probably took like 20 minutes & I just want to say from the bottom of my heart: Thank you ALEX! I really appreciate what you did for me. Your level of customer service was truly exemplary & went above & beyond & it is the definition of what Customer Service truly is. If anyone needs anything product or service wise, in the Denver Metro area, I HIGHLY Recommend Downtown Denver Ace Hardware. They Rock!

Great spot to get your misc. nuts, bolts, and materials. They do not carry much for metric though which is mostly what I came looking for, but they’re great for all the imperial stuff. Very friendly also.

Its about time for downtown to have a hardware store.

Very limited selections. Untrained and uninformed employee.Looking for a deep box wrench, the young employee said they did not carry those. I asked for a measuring tape, and he went to look for one. While gone, I easily found the right wrench, then went to look for him and found him just standing behind the counter! He never bothered to come back with the tape - very strange!I then asked for a particular plumbing hose, he said they didnt carry those either. Rather than wasting more time there, I left the store.

So nice to have a hardware store downtown! Staff is friendly and the stock is good considering the smaller size.

Customer service was terrible. I walked in and none of the staff said anything. Only when I asked where something was the lady behind the counter spoke. I then browsed for a moment by the electronic cord section where a staff member was sitting at desk staring at his phone. I was looking for a USB extension cable. The guy looked up at me twice with the side eye. LOL I was hoping he would finally ask if I needed help. NOPE! Nothing nada.Proceed to check out where there were two people behind the counter...another guy looked like he had never seen a black man before. I gave the whats up nod and he finally acknowledged me. Boy I tell you this place seriously needs to Customer Service training asap.

It is a rare experience anymore in business. I was greeted and and accompanied throughout my shopping experience to help me find everything I needed, even as I asked for rare things.

I order a utility cart and they order it for me in a minute and it arrived when they said.

I showed up looking for Dremel tips and accessories. The employee showed me exactly where all those items were and left me alone to finish my shopping in peace. Update - the rude attendant is no longer there and the staff has been helpful the last few times Ive been there. Ive had much better experiences since writing my negative review.Not a lot of products, unhelpful staff. The guy there kinda ignored me when I tried to get his attention twice, when I finally did and asked if they carried diatomacious earth he was just like meh idk, it would be somewhere over there lol. Home Depot staff is not all that helpful either, but theyll at least bother to check if they carry something or not.
