I took a long cross country drive to relocate a family member. A good friend of mine accompanied me on the journey so as a reward to us and gift to him we booked a MG shoot with Alan. We are a few history buffs so we stuck to the WW2 and cold war era weapons and had an absolute blast. Alan was a great guide and made sure everything was safe and fun.

The easiest gun store Ive ever dealt with.All the staff have a great attitude which makes for a seamless transaction.

I’ve just purchased my first AR-15 today from Machine Gun Tours. Let me just say I could not be more happy. Sadly I waited until a time when there is a “feeding frenzy” of firearms in our nation. I’m former military, and this purchase has been put off for far too long. That being said, I know the price on my Stag Arms rifle was not at all excessively marked up during these times.I would say that the shop is better stocked than any in our surrounding states. The choices were staggering.I spoke directly with the owner of the business and he was incredibly kind, patient, informative. In a busy environment, he literally answered every single question without hesitation or distraction.I’m sitting at home now researching the finer points of my purchase. Optics were already conveniently mounted on the rifle and I couldn’t find any reason not to purchase them with it. Now that I’ve done more research, I feel that they are the absolute best optics for this model. Great pairing!At the moment, some of the ammunition may be a little higher priced than some surrounding stores. I believe this is because there is no limit on the ammo, And as a result the ammo that has been purchased at a better competitive price is now long gone. Other places may be a little less expensive, but that’s because they place a limit and they have not gone through the stock they bought at a much lower price before things began to go up. It’s simple small business economics. Give it a few more days/weeks and the other places will be just about the same price.The parts inventory in this place is unbelievable! As I was browsing I took note. Later I talked with a friend of mine who is ALWAYS modifying his weapons, let him know what I was seeing, and he became very excited about what I told him was available here. He can’t find anything at all where he lives, so I’m sure he’ll be placing an order soon by phone or by email.I had conversations with at least four employees, each and every one of them very accommodating, knowledgeable, patient, and no unreasonable amount of ego could be detected.Alan, if you read this, you have a terrific business and a great team.THANK YOU.

Went in and asked for 45acp. Guy behind the counter pointed at a set of shelves. Asked for a suggestion on best value aka price point per quality. He pointed to a specific box. I said great Ill take 2. Set them on the counter and he charged me 70 bucks for 2 boxes of 40s&w ammo. I understand I should have checked the box, but I told him exactly what I wanted and he sold me something completely wrong!! Such a lack of discrace and disregard for my satisfaction of getting what I asked for especially when I was so specific about what time was looking for. I asked for a holster for a specific handgun too. His answer was very short and blunt. Nope we dont carry em. Not oh yeah I can special order ya what your looking for. Just nope. So nope Ill never visit your idiotic employed store ever again

Horrible service. I called and asked if they had an ak47 mini pistol. I specified, not a micro or a standard pistol, a mini. I was assured they had 2. I clarified once again that it was a mini and added that im driving all the way up from Colorado springs, he reassured me had 2. 1h 45m later when i arrived I asked the guy behind the counter to see rhe ak47 mini that I had called about. He proceeds to hand me a standard size pistol. I told him that is not a mini, rather a standard and that I drove all the way from the springs after clarifying that they had what I need. His reply oh well and he walked in to the back room. This place has zero knowledge of what they sell, and have zero sympathy when they make a mistake. 3.5 hours and a tank of gas wasted because your employee doesnt know what hes talking about? Great job guys!!!

BUYER BEWARE! This store is an extreme rip off. Everything is way over priced from ammo to guns. There selling boxs of ammo for $70 plus dollars that sell for $20 at any other gun store. There selling all there guns for about 4x market value, one example being there MP5 clones that arnt even H&K there Turkish made. They are selling these MP5s for $3500 which is disgusting its so high. These MP5s usually sell for $500 to $1500 refer to the photo below.Other examples are there AR 15s and Ak 47s they are selling for $1500 and up. These guns are $800 to $1000 at normal stores. Last example being there Torus Judge they sell for $800, this gun cost $400 at normal stores. Refer to the photos below. These guys really are crooks when asked why prices where so high there awnser was thats just what they sell for.These guys are crooks praying on people who dont know what there looking at. These guns arnt even worth a panic buy there so over priced. Trust me this is a rip off and a scam. There are plenty of other gun stores with reasonable prices in the area (hammer down fire arms and Arc tactical).Point proven lol look at the owners reply.

WOW, the ULTIMATE shop with firearms you cant find anywhere else. Plus if youve ever wanted to shoot a machine gun, this is the place to do so! Ive used them to pickup my first home defense guns, take my CCW class so I can get my Colorado concealed carry permit and had a great time shooting fully automatic guns at their private shooting range.

This gun shop just W of Denver has the BEST selection or rare, hard to find and dare I say exotic guns, rifles, pistols and firearms youll ever see. A must visit.

Ive been coming to this store for about 3 years now. Always a great experience when I come in with great customer service and Ive bought several firarms here. Now to get to the point of this review. I only gave 2 stars because it saddens me that they are price gouging ammo and some firearms during the ammo shortage. I understand there is high demand for ammo right now and sometimes it can be hard to get, but $1 a round for 9mm, .223, 5.56, and .40 S&W is crazy. I went to 3 different stores today and the other stores I went to had 9mm and .40s&w for 40 cents a round and .223 for 60 cents a round which I feel is valid pricing. Yes those other stores were limiting ammo like most places, but they werent price gouging. I probably wont be returning until after the election and pandemic are over.Update: I went in today to see if they had taken the reviews they are getting to consideration (including mine) and to help my roommate get his first shotgun. We were looking for the mossberg maverick 88 which is a good budget shotgun that runs for anywhere between $200 to $300. They had one in stock, but when I asked what the price was they wanted $500!!! They are still price gouging like before, but now even worse. We went to another gun store and bought the same shotgun for $199. Their excuse for the high price was that the maverick 88 was a hard shotgun to find.... yea right the store we went to after had 5. I will now be passing this store everytime I go out in search of a gun or ammo. Id rather drive the extra 5 minutes to The Gun Room or Bristlecone for thier much more reasonable prices.

Very surprised at the level of in stock items compared to other stores, especially given the current market. Display case full of AR parts, hammers, springs, pins, receivers, if it’s on an AR, it’s in the case. Killer price on 300 Blackout, pretty much cleaned them out.

I love this store!!! Most gun stores ya walk into have this macho machismo thing going on with the staff. These guys are so down to Earth, helpful and knowledgeable just really cool staff. The owner and I talk cars, racing etc...feels like America in this store lol! My sons and I have bought multiple guns from these guys (to bad we lost them in our boating accident) . Really like this store. Have been in Machine gun tours two times recently to check out what they have in stock, unfortunately we didnt end up purchasing anything either time. The store has a good selection of firearms and probably the best selection of AKs in Colorado. Both times We have been in the store the staff were great, both times greeted us and showed us guns off the shelf and took the time to really help us. If youre in the market for a gun, this store should be on your radar.

MGT consists of just a couple of things.Firstly, they have a more than phenomenal staff. THEY approach YOU! That says more than enough. But, ill continue.Second. They always have a well stocked inventory. From build parts to ammo. Plates and knives. Literally they have just about anything you could want.Alan, the owner is great. Comes out chats with you. Helps answer any questions and man!!! Sn he shoot! Randy, Jon and Ian are great guys who know their stuff and have worked there for years.I would confidently send anyone there from novice to lifelong enthusiast.Lastly, ask for Bentley when you get there. Great customer service, but some of the pricing seems to be a little too high! I came in a few weeks ago and asked about FFL transfer, apparently I misheard the gentleman when I thought he said $15 for transfer and $15 for background check. Thought it seemed very fair so I used them. When I came to pick up, I was told it was $15 for the background check $50 to transfer! That is insane! By far the highest price Ive ever seen a transfer fee. You should not be paying more than $30 for a transfer.Then to look around and their pricing on ammo is gut wrenching. $140 for 100 rounds of federal 5.56. Ouch! I can kind of understand pricing on ammo due to the current environment, but I cant wrap my head around a $50t transfer fee. Ill have to go elsewhere for transfers in the future.

Ammo is over priced. They have it, but its way over priced, which is probably why they still have it. You are better off waiting for Midway to show ammo in stock. They do have alot of other stuff though. Firearms, mags etc. I still recommend the store because the staff was very helpful in my opinion.

I walked in there with a very vague idea of what firearm would best be suited for me, but Thomas convinced me that I absolutely needed an AYKAY fo-dee sebben. I can honestly say that I am confident in my purchase because of that nice young man.

Stood in this store for 20 minutes. Felt ignored. Ill be going elsewhere.The fact that I couldnt get a hello for a well be with you in a minute was what made me feel ignored. The employees are extremely helpful and attentive to novice gun owners, they go out of their way to make them feel comfortable with what they are trying to figure out in regard to their personal protection. I spent an hour observing a employee helping a couple who were scared and nervous, he was compassionately helping them as well as educated. Went in today to look at aks for when i get my tax money, i asked to look at 2 and was handed both, then on the 3rd i was asked if im going to buy and i said well not right now no im waiting on my tax money was told no you cant look at it. I was kind of blown away by the rudeness i received. I will be taking my time and money else where RESPONSE i actually have my two buddies who where there when your employee said it. Great shop, amazing selection! I’ve been a few times and enjoyed my visits. Recently I visited the store for a tripod mount for my Ar15.

I recently purchased a custom tuned pistol from these guys. Initially, I called and talked to Clint about the gun. He was great to talk to. When I went to the shop to pick up the pistol, I met Clint in person. Great guy to deal with. Overall customer service and purchase was quick, painless and efficient. I even referred the shop to a friend to buy a similar pistol. Great guys to deal with. 1st time I have shopped at Machine Gun Tours. Definitely wont be my last. Good selection of guns and accessories. Definitely no high pressure sales tactics, and they were more than willing to show me a few other guns to compare to the one I was going to purchase.

After a not particularly good start to my day, someone stole my cab, I arrived slightly late to the range for my 10 gun package. Once there Alan and Art gave my nephew and myself a full safety briefing before our fun began. Each gun was explained to us prior to firing so that the subtle differences between each could be seen/felt,, all very professionally delivered and not too overwhelming. Despite starting late we were never rushed and any questions were answered fully. In all both myself and my nephew had a fantastic time and even hung around after for a while whilst they dialed in their own guns for a competition they had coming up. I wholly recommend this and with a bit of luck Ill definitely be back for another visit.

Super cool store with excellent selection of guns and accessories. I was welcomed as soon as I arrived. All the guys were friendly and made me feel at home. Pretty cool shop. I wasnt there very long. I wanted some ammunition and a magazine. They made it easy at a fair price.

Ive been going there since it opened, which seems like 10+ years? It saves a ton of time going there and finding what I wanted, instead of an empty shelf someplace else.When I lose a screw or a spring they always seem to have them.

Thjs shop loves to rush you off the phone called and ask if they had something in stock that i seen a week earlier wanted to make sure befor i drove a hour they said they didnt and didnt know when they would get more and hung up. I figured might as well go look for a new toy i had a good week. Well when i get there guess what they have in stock well about 50 of them. so i bought the original thing i was looking for a nothing else will be the last time im in this shop and they ever see a penny from me. They are always happy to do special orders for anything you may need. Truly a Second Amendment paradise. Nice shop with good selection and some really neat stuff. The reason for a lower rating is because I was pressured into buying something I didnt really want there. I had been in quite a few times and looked at a few guns but was never in a situation I could buy one, but I bought ammo numerous times at least trying to give them business. One time when I asked to look at an item in the case the employee acted very irritated and said he had seen me in there a lot looking at items and not buying them and he didnt like that, so he pressured me into buying the item which in the end I really didnt want. At least I got it for a good price so Ill hang on to it. If they were concerned about me looking at items and not buying them they could have at least asked about my situation rather than becoming rude. It makes me sad because this place is close to my work and I enjoyed the shop, but I probably wont be going back much because I cant stand being pressured into making a quick purchase without thinking about it. I dont recommend this place for people just looking or trying to learn, it is a fun shop if you know what youre doing or just want to spend money quickly though.

Just stopped in. The store is very clean and well laid out, and the staff was friendly and asked me several times if I needed help. They have a very wide selection of AR parts and accessories from the big names in the industry priced at MSRP. They also have a lot of Polymer80 items and parts to build your own custom Glock. They are definitely in tune with what is fashionable in the market at the moment. If you are working on a custom build of some kind check them out, they have a lot of good stuff available.

I really like these guys and always want to support them. They have a ton of cool toys to add to your but honey, I need this list. Prices are ok. Where I think they really shine is their selection of AR parts. If you are building an AR, check these guys out. At least to get some ideas about what you want or dont want in your gun. The staff is friendly and really eager to share some knowledge with you. I havent been on one of their full auto shoots but I hope to some day, looks like a lot of fun.

Came in to buy a specific type of ammo and was told that it was out of stock but they could potentially order some. The guy went to the computer and when I turned around he was helping someone else out that wanted to buy a gun. No one there seemed to want to help customers. Trump stuff all over the walls. Never going back there again.

Not sure into which store did you all guys go. Where I went, I received awesome service and god a lot of questions answered. They tend to stock mid to higher price firearms, but from what I can tell, reasonably priced.

NFA Class III Dealer, they have some really cool stuff. Overall a good selection. The staff is helpful and knows their stuff. If you dont see what you want. Ask. If its not in back they can likely order it in. Would have given 5 stats but there are on the higher end of the price spectrum.

Ive been a customer since 2013. My experience with MGT has been positive on each transaction and visit. Ive purchased several items and many transfers. Pricing has always been competitive, Ive always felt that my patronage has been appreciated. As to some of the discontented reviewers, I honestly have not experienced any of that.

Good service, horrendous pricing on most items. Do your research before purchasing to save yourself from being burned. For example, they have a SCAR 17 on sale for a small fee of $4,200. That same weapon can be purchased online for $2800 shipped. You can expect reasonable mark up since its a brick and mortar store with overhead but 50-75% mark up is outrageous. Just be careful and do your research. I did give 3 stars though because the staff is friendly.

I have always felt welcome at there store with no pressure to buy. They are patient and explain as much as they can to make an informed decision. Ive purchased several firearms from them and will recommend them to anyone and continue being a customer.

Went there to purchase a new handgun. I stood there for 10 minutes looking through the glass trying to see prices and models. Didnt even acknowledge that I was there! Very poor customer service! I went somewhere else.

Great shop for Firearm and Ammo needs.

I went in to buy a pistol a while back, the staff (I believe I was helped by Alan in particular) was friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me decide which firearm suited me best and were very patient with me and explained anything I didnt know or had questions about. They also had lower prices on the particular pistol I was looking at than anywhere else in town, and most places online. While I was waiting for the background check to go through, they let me handle a bunch of their rifles as well.As an added bonus, these guys arent your typical old fudds that own a gun store. They have iPads for you to fill out all the forms needed and they have a big screen on one wall hooked up to an xbox 360 showing videos of their past shooting expeditions, so they are definitely with the times.

If its badass these guys have it. Solid crew of dudes. Go nowhere else

Fairly decent selection and competitive prices however the customer service I received was so atrocious I felt it warranted this review. Upon entering the shop I browsed for several minutes while the one gentleman behind the counter sat on his phone. He was unresponsive and extremely short and discourteous trying to answer the few questions that I had come to ask. His unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge regarding firearms would have been acceptable had it not been for his disgusting remarks he made after I had finally voiced my opinion regarding his attitude and requested a manager. I highly recommend Denver Gun Room just down the street if youre in need of quality service in the area.

I wanted to thank Machine Gun Tours and especially Kyle, who helped me in every way and helped me make an informed decision in purchasing my first Colorado handgun, the FN-5.2. We took it to the mountains and let me tell you. Its the firearm of the future. Thank you Kyle, you really took the time for us to do it right. Now you and your company are the only firearms dealer, I trust or for that matter anyone else should either. And less expensive I might say. Dont waste ur time, like I did with other dealers, go here first. Kyle, Because of you. Im going to come back for an AR next.

Ive had a few issues dealing with this company. First I had a rifle shipped to them. When I got it, the rifle was incomplete and the FFL who sent the rifle swore that it was complete when shipped and stated this isnt the first time components have gone missing on guns when shipped to some FFLs. During the next encounter I took my mother gun shopping. She found a Sig that she liked and bought it. They said they couldnt find the original box it came in so they put it in a cardboard box and said that would suffice, and that the gun only came with one magazine anyway so I was only going to be missing a manual. I hounded them for three days and miraculously the original box showed up (complete with a spare $50 magazine, holster, and all paperwork). The last encounter was just phone call to inquire about the serial number of a rifle I had purchased. I was told he couldnt give it to me over the phone, which I can understand I suppose, but he was pretty rude about it too. Suffice to say, Im not impressed, nor will I do any more business with them.

I recently purchased a high-end rifle set-up from this shop. I waited 8 months for the gun. I had them install the compensator and they wound up installing the crush-washer incorrectly which caused problems. They told me to take it home, file down the crush-washer and re-install it myself. I called the manufacturer who advised me not to re-use an already crushed crush-washer and they instructed me to take it back to MachinegunTours and have them ship it back. When I took it back to MachinegunTours again there were two sales-people present. They refused to deal with the manufacturer to rectify the issue they themeselves created and when I told them what the manufacturer had requested, the guy in charge came completely un-glued and literally began yelling and screaming at me — no exaggeration — in front of the other customers. The gunsmith came out and was very respectful to me and professional but wanted to machine part of the compensator off instead of ordering a new $3.00 crush-washer despite my request that the gun conform to manufacturers specs. When I insisted on foregoing the machine-work and again requested that they order a new crush-washer the other sales person took this to be an insult to the gunsmith and began to get aggressive and his demeanor threatening. Dispite their aggressive behavior, at no time did I ever raise my voice or speak disrespectfully to anyone. Their attitude towards me was absolutely unnacceptable and unwarranted. At no time and not under any cicumstances should a sales person raise their voice or become threatening to a customer — period. I left the shop before they were able to escalate the situation further. I emailed Alan the shop owner before posting this review but never recieved a response. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life and I would advise anyone who is looking to purchase a gun in the Denver area to avoid these people. I’ve always been treated extremely well at Green Mountain Guns, The Gun Room and 5280 Armory.

Good service, but literally right after the purchase (before I even left the store) everything went downhill. The Sales rep was dishonest with me (regarding something significant, not like some little detail) and then turned into an argumentative jerk. After speaking with the store owner things were slightly better but still remain unresolved. Long story short: they stole about $100 from me.

I was shunted to the side because there was a guy with a custom Mercedes G wagon. I get that I dont have a 100k plus dollar car but I feel like I deserve better treatment than what I received. I was looking for ar parts for a 3 gun build but they mustve thought I was a yuppie who didnt know guns. Literally every employee there was helping them while I stood there patiently waiting for service.

I spoke with John one of the sales staff at Machine Gun Tours and he offered me $700 trade in value on my Beretta 1301 shotgun, I was o.k. with that. I saw the RAS 12 Shotgun priced at $1,500 which included ammunition. I asked if I can purchase ammunition through them and they said yes, making it sound easy. It turns out the company has gone out of business. I was advised that I can purchase reloaded ammunition, which is incorrect as they have a polymer casing. They said the next day that they wouldnt accept a refund or allow me to trade it back in at a loss. I feel cheated. No offer to satisfy the customer by any means at all!! I havent used the gun or the ammunition. I felt it is best to move on, however I know that this persons intention was to offload a product that has no value as Intrepid Tactical Solutions hasnt been in business since 2013. His employees even apologized saying how unfair it is about my situation. I was quite willing to spend more money on a Benelli M4 Shotgun and even buy extra ammunition to come to a pleasant outcome for both sides, which was declined as he is more interested in getting rid of a useless product. Very Bad Customer Service!!!!

I tried to cancel an order with this company before it was shipped. Not only was I ignored but the email responses were rude. Furthermore, I was charged for three day shipping and the package was delivered regular UPS. Do yourself the favor and do not order anything from this company. They shipped the package AFTER I sent emails and attempted to call their non responsive line. Their voicemail was conveniently full. Filed a complaint with BBB. They did not bother to respond. Nightmare.

A great store with knowledgeable staff fair prices and great selection.
