These guys are my go to for anything BBQ/smoking! They have all the equipment, accessories, sauces, rubs, meat, charcoal, pellets, and split wood. Dan/Tony/Chris and staff are always willing to point you in the right direction for whatever you are planning on cooking that weekend. Plus they put on some very fun, impressive, and top notch rib competitions as well as demos! We participated in the Dan Vogt memorial competition this past weekend which raised a lot of money for the American cancer society, and plan on participating every year.

I had been looking to buy a pellet smoker for a few months. After doing a bunch of research I went into Proud Souls to pick one up. The salesman that help me was great. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain to me the difference between the two smokers I was looking at.They stock a ton off grilling accessories and also have high quality meat on hand. Wow! This place is tremendous. Ive been a customer of the Littleton store. I signed up for one of their classes, and realized Id signed up for one at the Denver location. So I went out to the class last night - and I was blown away. Store looks great. The class was so much fun. These guys are absolutely pros. And the food - amazing! The only problem is now I want to go over to their stores three or four days a week to buy food and supplies.

I took my dad to their BBQ 101 course last night and had a great time. Very informative and the two owners did a fantastic job presenting and keeping us all well fed and entertained. A friend of mine told me about this place and what a hidden gem! They have incredible smokers, great meat selection, tons of spices and seasoning, and fabulous cookbooks. Got season blends and meat and a cool fat separator for fatty broth. Heard about this place when there was no meat at any market. They have premium cuts of meat and the coolest gadgets for grilling, of course many grills and smokers too

Incredible customer service! I purchased a Green Mountain smoker at the Littleton store because of their good product selection, knowledge and pricing. After experiencing start-up problems with the smoker, I stopped by the store at noon on the following Monday and spoke with Tony. He had a tech out to my house within two hours to diagnose/verify the problem and I had a new, fully assembled smoker delivered before 4pm that same day. Made a great batch of salmon that same night. With that level of service, how can I shop anywhere else for my favorite barbecue supplies?

After buying a smoker from Proud Souls I decided to sign up for one of their online BBQ classes to really learn how to use my new smoker. While pretty hard to accomplish, I would say the online class was both informative and fun and I could feel the vibe and passion of the instructors as though it were an in-person class. I left the class with a high level of confidence that I could really begin to use my smoker to the best of its ability. I would highly recommend taking one of their online classes.

I first found out about these guys at the Frisco BBQ Challenge. They were dishing out some great BBQ, so I had them cater a party in Denver. Their brisket, pork ribs and sides were big crowd pleasers. I visited the shop once they opened. Theyve got everything you need for amateur or competition bbq including, most importantly, good advice from guys who know what theyre doing. The pic is from the party they catered for us.

Dan and Tony run an amazing outfit! Huge selection of rubs and they carry lots of different assortment of cooking tools and utensils. I havent gotten a chance to take any classes yet they usually fill up pretty fast! They have an awesome selection of smokers and grills. They even have specialty meats wagyu and pork butts. Awesome BBQ supply store! I drove from Loveland, CO (50+ miles) to buy my Yoder YS640 on a black competition cart from Dan and Tony. They made me a great deal beating the competition. What a great place! I attended a class last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The class was a gift from my fiancee and she came along too, on her birthday! As a surprise, I contacted the shop about bringing by a cake before the class. Tony responded within minutes and was very accommodating. I dropped the cake by in the afternoon before the class and the guys brought it out after the brisket had been served and sang happy birthday. It was a great surprise and really appreciated!The class itself covered all aspects of the cook. Tony, Dan and Chris covered different aspects with their unique personalities. From the type of meat to choose to trimming to seasoning/injecting. They covered different types of smokers. Spoke about the differences between smoking here at elevation and sea-level. There was audience participation and Q/A along the way.At the end of the class, they served up some of the best brisket Ive ever tasted. So good they should probably have it available for sale during shop hours!The shop has a wide range of grills/smokers and everything that goes with it. They even sell the meat itself from a variety of suppliers that they work with and use themselves.This was a really unique experience and Id recommend it to anyone with an interest in BBQ.

Found this jewel in Denver off of federal!! One stop shop for all your BBQ needs. Owners are great and staff is knowledgeable. Ive been getting rubs, sauces, equipment, logs for smoking, and they have a fuel reward program to boot!! I failed my 1st brisket smoke and came to these guys for supplies and advice. Using their wisdom my 2nd brisket was a homerun!! I was using an inkbird IBBQ-4T digital thermometer which was having issues and they turned me on to their Maverick XR PRO which is a much better product and reads identical to my insta read through a 12hr smoke. I cant say enough good things about these guys. Stop shopping online and support your local small business!

They were nice enough to completely swap out and give us a new unit after 2 uses on the original. Very knowledgeable and love to help you out. Will come back and continue to support them!

They helped me with the purchase of my first smoker, a Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone, and have a great store with loads of selection for smokers, rubs, sauces, wood, and accessories. Their Pork Ribs Basics class was incredibly informative. We discussed everything from sourcing, selecting, and trimming your pork ribs, to seasoning, smoking, braising, and serving. We also went over different types of smokers, their pros and cons, and how to get the best results with each. Im looking forward to my next class with them, and will definitely be back!

These are good ole buys with old fashion customer service. They went way beyond any expectations that I had and helped me figure out why my YS640 was acting weird. Hands down the best BBQ store Ive ever been to. Dan gave me personal advice and attention for an hour while I chose my first ever smoker, and it turned out to be a real winner. Found this place on the internet and wasnt sure what to expect. My buddy and I decided to attend one of their classes. It was fantastic; I was hooked. I attended a Christmas ham class and then prepared it at home. The family loved it.Just attended a Valentines dinner class and had another great time. Highly recommend. The owners are awesome and so very helpful.They have a great selection of grills, spices, accessories and meat. The knife set is affordable and excellent.

These guys definitely know their BBQ. Went there last night for a brisket class, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. They covered the basics of the cook for the meat cut, various methods as well as brought out samples that they had cooked so we could see actual results. Didnt buy anything last night; however they seemed to have a pretty good line up of different smoker fuels, sauces, rubs, and other accessories. Ive already signed up for a second class and am looking forward to it!

I took the ribs 101 course at Proud Souls last week. It was a fantastic interactive class. They went over the different types of ribs, different rubs and sauces, different woods for smoking, and how to trim your ribs. They also cooked ribs using different types of smokers to show the differences. It showed me how little I know about BBQ and how much of an art it is. Tony and Dan did a great job sharing their knowledge. Best part was diving into the ribs at the end of the class. Well worth taking the class for those beginners out there.

I’ve been looking at taking classes on all kinds of cooking. I took this on a whim and man oh man was I impressed. They just opened and they’re working it out, but they know what they’re doing. Friendly, have all the stuff, taste test different styles. Well worth it and I’ll be taking more classes for sure! BTW they’re just north on federal from Broncos stadium and they’re open before games BBQing.
