I ordered a door slab from this company to fit in an existing jamb. I selected this company for their selection and because they will come to your house to do professional on site measurements of the existing jamb so that the slab will fit correctly. I got a call from the saleswoman who took the measurements requesting to return to double check her measurements. I let her know she could come by at anytime. When she never showed I reached out to her to see if everything was okay. She said that she had sorted it out... Not the case! I got the door and the hinges were off by a quarter of an inch. I now have a huge gap between my weather strip at the top of the door, the sweep wont fit at the bottom, and I cannot get the lock installed because nothing is lining up! I called to let them know about their error and how they will fix it. I got the not our problem comment from them and that I need to find a trim carpenter to fix their mistake. I understand mistakes but I expect companies to own up and try to fix their errors. Especially when the person who took the measurements wasnt certain about some of them. How is a homeowner supposed to trust a company like this?! I certainly will NEVER use this company again and I would not recommend them to others based on how this mistake was handled.
