Window seal has failed on our 4-year old window. But because we’re the second owners of the home, the company won’t stand behind their product. Some window companies allow warranties to be transferred to new owners but Prime Windows does not. At least the customer service rep telling me they have poor customer service was kind while doing so.

Prime provided local warranty service on my Atrium windows, the tech who visited was super courteous and helpful on both his visits, I didnt catch his name but I wanted to offer praise, his cell# ended in 2141

I just had JB come to my home for warranty work. He was polite and honest. He cleaned the door track while the door was off, and replaced broken parts. He also taught me some monthly maintenance and tips/tricks I could do to help keep my door operational.Very pleased with results and interaction.

I needed a replacement part for my sliding patio door and was having a hard time finding out who and how to order it. Carrie with Prime replied quickly and provided me with what I needed and where to get it. When the dealer she referred me to didnt respond, she went the extra mile to work with the original builder of my home to get me the part through them at a local construction office near me. She came up with a solution that was more convenient and one I wouldnt have even known to ask for. Big thanks for their customer service!!

They’re working with a customer in my area. Driver just pulled his truck up in the middle of the street, blocking traffic in both directions. Plenty of space for him to park elsewhere but he saw me trying to get through and just laughed. If that’s how you are u won’t get my business.

Quite possibly the poorest quality windows made. We live in town homes with Atrium windows. Everywhere throughout the community, the interior decorative lattice, within the double panes is separating. The windows leak air horribly, and the hung windows are difficult to open. Pretty much junk. Too bad. It would only take a couple of dollars per window to upgrade them to mediocre. Save your money !

We have a new Wonderland home. Prime installed their 6000 series windows. Every one of the side-by-side windows (one unit) end up with a significant buildup of frost and condensation on the inside when the temperature falls below about 25 degrees. In short...the windows are terrible. I challenge Prime to respond to this posting. BTW - I have photos to prove my assertion.

Id give them ZERO Stars if it were possible. Weve been trying to replace windows installed and under warranty since March 2014. They give every excuse under the sun for why they cant find paperwork, why they dont show up, noone returns calls. Very possibly the worst service experience Ive ever had in my life. Pay a little more and get better quality product and service and save yourself the hassle of dealing with them all around!

This is for Atrium Windows if they are even the same thing . . . .Unfortunately this builder quality window company is terrible. Many builders use Atrium, likely because they are the cheapest, and your house will suffer because of it. The windows themselves are okay meaning none of ours have shown a defect yet but they definitely arent of any substantial quality. However, Atriums doors are atrocious; we are on our third door from them. We are also on our third lock set and Ive stopped calling them because Id rather take the time to drill it out myself than deal with them again.Ironically, we went and looked at a new model home that had atrium (now prime) windows, and the sales rep had to push in some broken metal piece at the bottom of the sliding door in the basement so that it would open and close. The only thing worse than their doors is their customer service. They wont answer the phone, they wont call you back, when they do answer, they transfer you. Their technicians are at least nice enough but no so much so that they can overcome all the other flaws.

PLEASE FLAG THE 5 STAR REVIEWS WITH ONLY 1 REVIEW AS CONFLICT OF INTEREST. They are the company trying to get their ratings up.We had Prime Windows installed with our Meritage Home (who also gets a 1 star for customer service). The windows are astoundingly bad, they might as well be wide open with how much airflow comes in. They break looking at them, and even when installed broken, Prime Windows refuses to even inspect the problem. And their customer service is unbelievably rude.

DO NOT USE!!!!This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They sent me a replacement piece of glass that was jagged and unevenly cut that it could not be installed. They also set up an appointment for a window of 8a-12p for a technician to show up and never did.

To start out with, I wish I could give a zero rating. With that said, I will concede that their customer service lady is nice enough while scheduling warranty service calls and Andy, one of their troubleshooter/technicians is excellent. Now that the good is out of the way, I can safely say that these are the worst windows I have ever had. I have owned multiple homes and can even say that Atrium windows are worse than some old apartment building windows Ive had to deal with. After building a new house and having no choice of window brand or the opportunity to upgrade, (my first mistake) we ended with Atriums bottom of the bucket series, the 6000 series window. Bottom line - they fail in every category. Even the simplest. A window is supposed to keep the weather out of your house. They leak water, air and make more noise than any window I have ever had. They creak, moan and literally shudder with wind. The grilles or mullions in between the glass move so much in the wind that they bang against the glass, making a metallic and hollow sound repeatedly until the wind dies down.Almost every window in our house was installed in a damaged condition. Nicks and scrapes to the vinyl framing and big scratches in the glass. Also, they are infamous for imperfections in between the panes of glass. Weve had numerous windows replaced because of bluish or gold dots all over the glass on the INSIDE. That means their manufacturing process is second rate. Its little wonder why their final product is too.We have a couple of their sliding doors too. Theyre also terrible. They change shape with exposure to sun, which literally makes them difficult to close. When they do close, they flex and you actually have to force them into the jamb in order to secure the lock. Also, they have no additional locking system, like most of their competitors. They stick an aluminum piece of square stock in the jamb on a hinge. I guess its a step up from the old broomstick burglar bar of yesteryear. Also, the entire bottom rail is only vinyl. A super heavy 8 door rides on a vinyl track that squeaks and flexes when you open and close the door. Unreal. While they are more than willing to send someone out and try to make things right, they often fail. Its not their workers fault. Although they never say it, you can just tell that even they are completely frustrated about an obviously poisonous corporate culture that comes from the top. Often times during a warranty call, you end up trading one known problem for another one. Im serious. There have been times when you just wish you wouldnt have called at all. The new item has been damaged on the truck, or once the new pane of glass is installed, the same problem exists, but in a different spot that you dont notice until theyre gone.I could go on, but Ill spare you. If youre looking at Atrium for remodeling, I would highly recommend that you run, not walk away from Atrium windows. If youre building a house, hopefully your builder provides a higher grade Atrium window or offers an upgrade option. We had no choice and had never heard of Atrium. Ill tell you this. With all the building going on in CO, they have contracts with a TON of builders. Youll probably get stuck with them.As I said, I have the 6000 series, so my opinions are only based on that line. However, I highly doubt their better lines are any higher quality. They might be, but Im very skeptical. Just do yourself a favor. Cross Atrium off your list of companies you would consider for your project. I wouldnt use Atrium windows for my shed.

For one flawed window glass replacement, I needed to spend 4 Fridays staying at home waiting. It equals to 32 vacation hours. They could just easily say I am sorry but who is going to pay for my loss of time. Its ridiculous. They ordered the wrong glass and brought the wrong glass each time. This cost me 4 Fridays. I was guaranteed that the work would be done yesterday between 8 and noon. I was waiting at home and nobody showed up around noon, so I started to freak out. I called the company multiple times and finally I got to talk to someone. They could not know where the technicians were and could not get ahold of them. Not till 2 pm did I get a call from them that technicians would be there in 30 mins. I did not see anybody at 3 so I called several times again. Of course, nobody answered. I guess they would not answer my calls anymore...so irresponsible. Finally they came later and of course, brought the wrong glass again. I was so so so pissed and.... The people who came were contracted third party. They were given the wrong glass by PRIME. I told them what had happened and I told them they need to have it done today no matter what. The good thing was those contracted technicians went somewhere and found the glass. I needed to spend 4 Fridays to have that one glass replaced. Guess what? It only took them 15-20 mins to have the work done. Ridiculous experience!!This whole process was so frustrating. I rarely get upset and throw out F words and they made me do that. This PRIME Windows have serious management problems. Efficiency-0%; Communication-0%; Effectiveness-0%; customer service-10%; Quality-??? Were it not for those builders doing business with PRIME, they would have been out of business. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with all my life till now. Hopefully I wont need to deal with them again. If those builders continue doing business with them and if Prime doesnt improve those internal management problems they have, some day lawsuit will occur I am sure.

It boggles me how this company is still in business. Nearly 2 years later and the windows on our new build home are still incorrect. They have now installed the wrong grid pattern for the 2nd time. They also didnt complete the job. It is a miracle they were able to get the windows installed in the first place because they seem incapable of fixing them. If I could give 0 starts I would. Its been nearly 2 years of either cancelled appointments, ignored appointments, made excuses not to come to appointments, showed up for appointments and just left without a word, or installed the wrong window and left without getting it checked. They have the worst customer service. If you have them unfortunately installed in a new build I would suggest just taking a payout and hiring someone else to fix their inevitable numerous mistakes.

I have made several calls into this company in a number of weeks attempting to find where I can purchase, yes purchase replacement parts for three Atrium sliding doors. Ms. Ramiero was by the far the rudest person I have dealt with today. Ms Ramiero wanted to argue with me on where to find replacement parts when I drove to the place I was told and I am still empty handed. I understand now how this company can be rude as they want to the consumer since they only sell to the builders. Thank you for nothing Atrium I wish I could financially afford to replace all three Atrium sliding glass doors and all Atrium windows in my house. Wish I could give a zero rating on this poor run company. Btw I attempted to speak to senior level management and was told no one is in the office today. When asked to speak to a person I was only offered voice mail. SMH.
