We had a consultation with Matt Griffin to design and replace out front door and accompanying side windows with a solid black walnut option. Matt was very fun to work with and was able to design the exact door we were looking at. He was easy to reach out to throughout the process and always got back to us with any questions or updates we had. Pela as a company did a fantastic job from start to finish. Our installers were very respectful of out home and did a fantastic job removing the old door, installing the new door, and cleaning everything up. They managed to do this without any damage to the surrounding stucco etc. I am incredibly pleased with the service we received. The attached photos show the before and after.

We are absolutely thrilled we chose Pella to update our 30 year old Hurd wood windows (16 windows, 1 door)-- they did a fabulous job from start to finish. I got estimates from about 7 different window companies and was set on replacing our wood interior/exterior windows with a new/updated version-- Pellas wood interior is EXACTLY what I wanted (we also updated our home from the Oak trim to white). The exterior of the windows are aluminum clad (and they have great color options--more than other companies). We worked with Colin on the sales/figuring out sizing and pricing (I found their pricing to be extremely competitive and not high considering the quality of their windows). Bobby was the project manager and did an exceptional job keeping us in the loop and setting up the right teams out here to install (it was a 3 month wait but well worth it). He has also been really on-it scheduling installers to come back out to fix small things here and there (mainly the patio door adjustments). We were very nervous as our home is stained and we didnt want to remove any of the trim surrounding the windows. The install team was AMAZING. Ask for Shane as your installer! He does exceptional work taking care of the exterior of the home. He even customized a piece of interior trim to fit around our bathroom tile. I dont think I couldve had a better experience. Very happy with our choice and the windows have been handling Winter very well (no more foggy glass and they sure keep the heat in better!). Definitely go with Pella-- you will be very happy with them.

We had windows installed 6 months ago and no one came to complete the project. Every step of this project with you has been a nightmare. Weve called and called and emailed for help with no assistance. Now today I was bullied by the manager for payment. He threaded my husband too. I want someone at corporate to contact us to negotiate our final bill. Im in fear of speaking to anyone at the local Colorado branch and now weve received a letter from a lawyer demanding payment. Never in my life have we been treated with such disrespect and experienced such terrible service. Please corporate, help us.

Our Pella salesman, Colin Winistorfer, was great to work with. He was knowledgeable and professional and very patient with us. From our initial consultation to placing our order was about 4 months, we went back and forth with the size of one particular sliding door and after visiting the showroom and seeing the products in person, we changed out minds about the product line we wanted too! Colin was great throughout, he provided advice, information, revised pricing etc. in a timely and professional manner. We never felt pressured at all. Once we finally bit the bullet and placed our order and began the process, everyone we dealt with at Pella was great, our installation team was absolutely fantastic. This is a review of the Pella Window purchase/installation on 8/10/2018. This was my first purchase and experience with Pella Windows and Doors, Inc, and my first with any Pella product. I was drawn to Pella after much studying of their product reviews and their long reputation of good service. Since then I have made 2 additional purchases. This company pays immeasurable attention to detail in all aspects of their service.Initially, a representative, Nathan Anderson, visited my home. He was very professional, understood my concerns and requests, and extremely knowledgeable about the product he represented. He was also very considerate about making sure that I had every financial advantage for which I was eligible. He was also very tolerant and kind re: my hyper dog and pesky cat!About a week later a visit was made by the man who was in charge of the installation. He reviewed what I purchased and the details of the installation, going over all measurements. He was very professional and considerate.On the day of the installation, Julio and Zuri arrived on the day specified and the time agreed upon. They were very skilled tradesmen. They were considerate, efficient and focused. The windows were installed quickly and perfectly. The windows look beautiful inside and out. And there was not a speck of mess inside or outside the house when they left. The windows sparkled as if there was no glass there at all!Everyone coming in to my home raves about the windows, and indeed they look wonderful and brighten my home beyond belief. Upgraded my old aluminum basement windows through Pella recently and I love them! I can already feel a huge temperature difference in the living space. Very expensive door and hardware has never closed correctly. Door sensors never worked as promised, despite several service calls. Ive bought Pella Windows and Doors all my life but never again. Product is just OK but service is terrible. If you never need to call for service you might be happy but they are so unconcerned with finding a solution. They act more like a fly-by-night company rather than a reputable major window company you think they are. You cannot talk to anyone who can help. Now my warranty is nearly up and theyll start charging me to come fix the problem that has existed since day 1.

David and Thunder did a fantastic job. We had 2 doors that had been restricted in their ease of rolling due to over-use and daily direct sun. These problems were fixed perfectly and we are super happy with the results. The doors glide like new. We also had a window frame that was user-damaged. They replaced the wood just like new. We highly recommend Pella and the exceptional work completed by David and Thunder!

Shane and his group did an outstanding job installing our new windows and sliding doors. They installed a large 16ft sliding door that required some heads up adjustments to fit into our mid-century home with less than square openings. Shane recommended the repairs needed to fit it perfectly rather than taking the quick way out and placing it as is. We appreciated his honesty about what needed to be done, his willingness to accommodate our remodeling schedule and the quality of work he provide. I needed a rotting door replaced. They were quick to respond and communication back and forth was easy and smooth. The guys from Pella just finished installing our new door and we could not be happier! Our installers were Dustin, Dave, Max and Tyler. Each one of them was friendly and professional. As I watched them take out the old door and install the new one, I felt pretty sure that this was the level of care they would use when installing a door in their own homes. They kept things extremely clean during the whole process, not just after they finished. They showed up 10 minutes early, and worked efficiently with a minimum of noise outside of what would be expected to remove and install a front door. I would highly recommend these installers to anyone, and Im confident that they would not be disappointed.

I had ordered windows in October/November with an install date of December 11. The install was going fine until the last window and it was determined that the project manager had ordered the wrong size window. The installers said it would be a few days and they would be back to install. Fast forward 2.5 months, several phone calls (with no response), my final window was installed. No apology, no reimbursement for heating while having a very poorly and half installed window during our coldest months. I had to talk to someone in the ACCOUNTING department to try and get ahold of anyone, which did nothing because the sales person I used never called me back. As a real estate broker, I use vendors that I think will do a good job for my clients. I cannot and will not be referring any business to Pella. Side not, installers were all great!

This will be the second time we are installing pella windows!! I highly recommend them, so far everything has been very easy and our salesperson Matthew Griffin has been very helpful and easy to work with.

I own a large home in Boulder County with ~30 year old windows, and I worked with Colin Winistorfer to order a full replacement of about 40 windows in total. Colin is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and he was very respectful of our home and the necessary COVID precautions. Our project is complex, and I really appreciated Colins patience and responsiveness as we made several changes to the project in order to get it finalized. While the work has not yet been completed, I shopped around a lot, and I am very happy with the fair pricing provided by Colin for top quality windows. I will post an updated review when the project is complete.

Shane did a wonderful job installing an entire house of windows and doors for us. He was punctual, knowledgeable, cleaned up every day, and communicated what was going on throughout the install. I highly recommend him for installation of this product. These were replacement windows from an insurance claim. Our house originally had Pella windows and we have had very few problems in 26 years with them. I love the built in blinds and the new features they have added over the years make them even better. The sun defense glass is helping with the southern exposure.

Several of the new windows from Pella did not even work. Can you believe you pay $4000 to $6000 per window and they arrive, get installed and dont work properly? We had to call the Denver, CO Pella project manager probably 6 times before he would return a phone call and get scheduled to come and look at the problem. He came to evaluate and then never followed up with the plan. I had to call him several times afterwards to even get a response about what the repairs would entail. 6 to 8 weeks later, our replacement products arrived from Pella. The installer installed the replacement products. Guess what? They were not the same style. They are wrong! Can you believe it???? The installer didnt check the style of the window before putting them in? What do they say? Measure twice, cut once? Then this installer said the first installers werent Pella installers. Pella contracted the original window installation to a 1099 sub. So this second installer, a Pella installer, said that was part of the problem. So why werent we told by Pella in the first place? Why werent we given the option to have a Pella installer versus a 1099 sub? We had to wait two to three months for the first windows. Why not wait an additional two to three weeks to get the best installer? The second installer, the one to replace the original windows that did not work, noticed that a Pella door, also part of the original project, was installed crooked. It was also damaged in the original install and needed to be replaced. So in replacing the door, he noticed the original installation was off by about 3/8 inch. Thank you Pella installer for noticing this and putting it on the list to be fixed for the third time Pella will come out - probably in another 2 to 3 months. At the same time, shame on you Pella installer for installing windows with a different style.We have newer Pella windows in other parts of our house. Weve had similar problems with this franchiser in the past. Two of our major windows installed previously still do not work properly. We love Pella windows. We strongly encourage you to find a different franchiser with whom to work.

First this: I simply dont do surveys and feedback. But, I had such a positive experience with Andre, my Pella installer that I have to comment. He led the team that installed seven single-hung and two double-hung windows. He was intent on making every detail perfect. The installation team was great. Company responsiveness to pre and post installation questions was extremely poor! I eventually had to escalate my needs to the GM in both circumstances to get satisfaction. That shouldnt be the case.

Thank you - David Clark came to fix our living room window. The gear was striped so it wouldnt open or close. David was excellent. He advised what he was going to do first and then fixed the window. Very good customer service. He asked if there was any additional issues or if we had concerns regarding the window before leaving. Look forward in doing business with Pella again.

Had an appointment for a consultation last week that Pella confirmed on two separate occasions. My spouse & I took off early from work to be home for the appointment and Pella never showed up nor called. Placed a call to the corporate office a few days later & they stated the local branch would be calling to follow up. Still have never heard from them.

Salesman described completely and accurately the sliding glass door we ordered. The installation supervisor was on top of the installation insure it went smoothly (it did). The installation team did an expert and complete job taking care of all finish details and cleaned up after their work and promptly removed all debris on completion. We were very satisfied.

The installers were on time. They were polite, courteous, informative, helpful and several other positive adjectives. The installation experience was as good as the window itself. The window we had installed is fairly small (2 x 2) casement in our closet - specifically used for ventilation. Surprisingly the UV treatment of the window has reduced the temperature in the closet - This was unexpected considering the small size of the window. The sales staff (Cliff) was awesome along with the rest of the crew. The installers (Dustin, Dave, Max and Tyler) lined up to introduce themselves upon arrival, and made sure the experience was seamless. They used drop cloths, vacuums, the proper tools, and when they were complete I didnt have to do any added work other than open the window. The folks at Pella organized the entire project and scheduled everything. Pretty simple from my side of the project. Totally enjoyable, and highly recommended!! An important comment from me here - I had other quotes as well, and the pricing was similar. However, with the quality and workmanship of the product and installation, I will be using Pella again for my next window project - and I feel confident I wont have to get additional quotes.David

Let me start out by saying that I am very happy with the windows that we bought from Pella. We replaced all the windows in our home and they look great. Mike the salesperson that helped us was well informed and got all the measurements spot on. Melissa the customer service representative was flexible and very willing to help. Unfortunately the positive experience ended here.When we took delivery of our windows the truck driver backed up into our house, crushing our gutter and fascia. I told him that these things happen and that Im sure Pella would take care of it. I was completely wrong! Ive spoken with Pella (Mike, Melissa and Ben) about this problem multiple times asking simply that Pella cover the cost of the repairs and weve gotten about absolutely nowhere in almost 6 weeks.We did also have an issue with our $12,000 bifold door. The latch came installed backwards and the lock doesnt work. Apparently this is being warrantied but I have my doubts that it will be taken care of. In the mean time our house is unsecured. I will update my review based on the response from Pella.As much as we love our new windows I simply cannot recommend Pella. This company has poorly handled the situation leaving a terrible taste in our mouths!Update: Not sure if it was a coincidence or not but the day after posting the above review Pella sent out two technicians and were able to fix the lock. I also got a call from Pella saying they were sending out a check to cover the damage to the house. I am glad that the issues have been handled, I just dont understand why it had to take so many calls and over a month for them to take action. They have a wonderful product but really need to back it up with with quality customer service!

I just got 3 windows and a patio door installed. Of course the quality and beauty is just what Pella is known for. However, Im not writing this review because of the amazing product. More importantly, I want to give praise to the group of people responsible for the installation. All the way from the delivery guy, Dan Harvey, to the very skilled Dustin, Dave, Max, and Tyler, I am impressed. They are all pleasant and respectful people. They patiently answered my questions, protected my property and flooring, and cleaned up after themselves. Welcome guests! As for the quality of the installation? Perfectly square, blended putty and clean, precise caulking. They even got finished early!!! Pella is great, but the crew is outstanding. Thanks guys!

We have been trying to get a window casement and window repaired since July. It is now September. Today I sat on hold for 30 minutes and *no one* picked up the call. Pella staff is incredibly unreliable: two virtual calls missed because they mistyped the information into their system; a face to face meeting missed because the sales person was sick but no one bothered to inform us - we just had to figure it out on our own. When a sales person did finally show up he said he knew what we needed and then disappeared. No follow up. I tried following up with the Denver office, who said they would figure out what happened - a week passed and no return call from either the salesperson or the repair department. You may like those *new* windows but heaven help you if you need to repair one!

I have been trying for weeks to get a replacement door handle for our patio door, one with a lock. I special ordered with claire, gave her all the details she asked for, and its a new handle that doesnt have a lock, or a faceplate to remove to put a lock in, which I found out after they sent out the locking mechanism, and tried to remove the faceplate. How many times does a person need to call to get something resolved? If/when it happens, Ill let you know. By that time, we might have a new patio door, not a Pella though.

What we really appreciated beyond the quality of the windows and doors was how they completed the project on time during the exact time period they estimated. With any type of construction project, we have always had schedule slips and other issues. There were none with Pella. The Team that installed our windows is very professional.

Audra from Pella did a great job helping us understand our choices on updating our windows. She took great care in understanding our needs and our budget and gave us choices that matched our home. Importantly, she really listened to us and took great notes on our window type and dimensions that made everything easier! She is thorough, professional and has terrific follow up skills. I wish all our contractors were half as good as Audra!

I had been obtaining bids for egress windows - and had other companies push their high end vinyl at me... I wasnt thrilled with the price for the quality of the windows by these other companies. I was referred by a friend to Sam with Pella. Sam was an absolute delight to work with. He came to the house, listened to the experience Id had with the other window companies- and offered up solutions from Pella. It was clear Pella was by far the superior option for my egress windows- and Sam took care of everything for me. He made the process pain free and easy. We will be back!

My wife and I worked with Conor Flynn on a project involving the replacement of 10 windows in our home. Conor is extremely knowledgeable with the Pella line of windows as well as all of the fine details. This was very obvious given his ability to answer all of our questions with ease. He was very friendly and helpful in every aspect of this initial window replacement process. We already have some Pella windows in our home from a remodel that had been done in 2002 and are very pleased with how they have held up over the years.

Blake and Jim worked together to find a creative solution to a broken crank on a 1968 Pella casement window. I had given up hope on the repair after ordering various parts that didnt fit Blake and Jim went beyond the call of duty to solve a difficult repair problem. They also were respectful of the Covid19 safety measures. Wonderful, professional representatives of Pella.

The quality of the windows and expertise of the installer, Shane, was second to none. This is a trustworthy company with great, open communication and a solid product. My project included replacement of all windows in my 25 year old home which I wanted to do as step 1 of a an energy efficiency project that will eventually include solar panels.

You get what you pay for with Pella; I am on my second project with them and their product, professionalism, installation, etc is top notch. The front door I had installed blew away my expectations. Eric Van Valkenburg helped me with my second project and was great to deal with. I would definitely recommend.

For the money we spend on Impervia double hung, and casement windows. I am not impressed. We build a home ordered them a head so when we put them in. The glass broke nothing we did we had a glass company come out and GC and there were no pits but because we ordered it a year a go and when we put them in they told us the warranty has expired shameful.... During the really cold days in Colorado we get moisture and frost inside again shameful. Now the casement handle keeps coming out and the wind catches the edge of the casement and the hooks are not lined up so you have to mess with them to catch and close. shameful. For the money I probably went with champion, or any other window company and got better windows. Buyer beware....

Weve just had a bow window replaced in our home and absolutely love it! The experience weve had from start to finish with each member of the team was wonderful. We now have fully functioning windows that look great and are so wonderfully clear - the new clarity is similar to the experience of getting new glasses. Highly recommend.

I had an external french door installed today and I am delighted with the results. The door is exactly what I wanted and it is a great quality. The installation was more complicated than typical, so I was holding my breath. My home is over 100 years old, so matching the trim and quality is important to me. A team of 4 very professional installers/carpenters were at my door promptly at 9:00 AM. (Dustin, Dave, Max and Tyler.) Dustin ran a tight crew and they did exemplary work. They were clean and efficient, and their workmanship is exemplary. There was an attention to every detail and it shows. I have had a great deal of work done to my home in the last year and this experience was the best. I would use them again without hesitation. I also strongly recommend them. I also want to mention that Kip and Cliff spent a great deal of time expertly matching my century-old trim so the new door matched. A thankless endevour that I greatly appreciated...

We had a completely positive experience with Pella and have no complaints. Our consultant, Troy, and the installation manager, Kip, were very pleasant and easy to work with. The installation crew, Ryan, Joey, Scott, Andrew, along with all of the additional crew members, were polite and considerate and left our home clean and took the time to move our furniture back in place. I would definitely recommend Pella to others and will use them again.

The staff is very helpful. A person on the floor politely greeted us and got a saleswoman, Megan, who was very helpful. Megan helped my Father and I find some older window parts and was nice enough to provide us two different parts for a very good price! From the initial visit from Perry Owen through the installation by Shane and Dallas, the entire process has been great. The quality of our new sliding patio door is the best available and the service has been the perfect complement to the product. Perry is extremely knowledgeable, attentive to detail and committed to customer satisfaction. Likewise, Shane and Dallas, who installed the door, took pride in the product and in their own skill - insuring there wasnt a single smudge or fingerprint on the door. We would have been proud to have dinner party guests looking at and through the door immediately after the installers left.

Eric came to our house, discussed all the possible options (more than I expected since our Park Hill House has doors that are too short for standard doors), went step by step with us on each part of the door, from hardware to even the color paint that goes on the inside of the jamb, and discussed the entire install process from removal of the old door to the replacement of the trim and clean up. It was impressive.
