The double chocolate gluten free is absolutely delicious! First time trying it and it was light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Highly recommend!

Milk & Cakes cupcakes were a huge hit at an outdoor COVID-safe event I organized. I chose Milk & Cake to supply an unspecified variety of 50 cupcakes, individually bagged. Even though they were fully booked for the date they were needed, they agreed to supply them as long as I was willing to take whatever was available. The folks in attendance loved them, and many commented about how delicious they were. I plan to go back and try several kinds on my own. What a treat!

They made a cute and delicious Cocomelon cake for my daughter’s birthday. Everyone at the party loved the cake and kept complimenting it. I was very happy with it, it was exactly what I asked for!

I really love the cupcakes and the people working there are usually nice, but I didn’t have that great of an experience with the birthday cake I ordered. There was over an inch of frosting on the top, in between the two layers, on the sides, and underneath my 6 inch cake despite me telling the girls repeatedly I didn’t like anything too sweet. It was almost unbearable for my entire family to eat. I would say the cake:frosting ratio is 1 part cake and 2 parts frosting. The actually cake inside itself was delicious, but It was too overwhelmed by frosting to thoroughly enjoy. The 6 inch is supposed to feed 7-10 people but the frosting was so thick that it made it impossible to cut it in reasonable slices without it crumbling. The pictures really don’t do the ridiculous frosting justice.

I ordered these based on reviews and they are by far the most horrible cupcakes Ive ever tasted. If the dollar store had cupcakes... this is what theyd taste like. Very very dry. The chocolate cake was bitter and tasted like cough syrup... the frosting didnt even taste like chocolate. It even smelled horrible. The birthday cake frosting was okay... but the cake was really horrible as well.$24 for 6 cupcakes... I expect them to be decent. These dont even hold a candle to grocery store cupcakes which are 100x better.These were honestly inedible... I had to throw them out. Definitely save your money!

Wow. We asked for a LEGO themed cake and if possible, please incorporate a robot. They nailed it!We also relied on Milk & Cake for cupcakes during a party and we were impressed with the professionally decorated, great tasting cupcakes.The staff have always been friendly on the phone and in person.We look forward to seeing the creative creations in the future! I love the ice cream but this company is so inconsistent with packaging and reading tickets. Most times the toppings are on the side. Not today? Sometimes the topping amount changes. Today they ripped me off by 22 oz. Its really annoying.

Their birthday cake Cale Shake was absolutely amazing! Their vegan and gluten free options were really tasty! And the service didn’t take very long even though they were packed! Definitely going to be coming back!

I ordered a 6-pack of cupcakes from this bakery to send to my friend for her birthday.They were prepared and delivered quickly and she said the cupcakes were very good (especially the Reese’s cup flavor).I would note that I ordered unique flavors for each 6, but as you can see in the photo they added duplicates and left out two flavors I ordered. Not a big deal for this order, but I think it’s good for customers to know the flavors might be switched — and that they won’t notify you about it.

I can’t praise this local shop enough! Delicious ever changing flavors of FroYo with a nice selection of toppings and fantastic cupcakes! They now do custom cakes and cookies as well. The staff is always very friendly and the location is very easy to get to right off of Hampden and I 25.Are used to live right next-door to it, so we went to frequent to the shop for FroYo after dinner. I consistently going out for cupcakes for special events or just win I need a sweet kick. I can never walk away with only one cupcake I always need to wave with at least a few flavors. They also offer mini cupcakes so you can try several flavors without feeling too guilty. I Love Milk & Cake!

No regard to allergies. I watched utensils dipped in peanut butter and chocolate. The same utensils dipped in other containers. I asked if they considered cross contamination because my kids are deathly allergic to these items. No consideration was taken. In fact they acted put off or offended that I questioned this. The staff actually laughed at us as we walked out. If you or your kids have allergies, I would not recommend this place. I will make recommendations to Southmoor elementary.

Best gluten-free cupcakes ever. Also their frozen yogurt is the best I’ve found in the greater Denver area. My favs are the salted caramel, mint and peanut butter ice cream. Basically I need to quit coming here so often. 😆Yummmm

I ordered a cake for my gender reveal, send a picture to the baker and asked if she could make my cake. She said it wouldn’t be a problem she could do it so I have full faith in her. When I went to pick up my cake was nothing like I ordered. I was very disappointed didn’t even want the cake. On top of that my cake was super dry and the inside. The baker was there on top of that and refused to fix my cake. All they could say was there sorry and the baker can’t do anything about it. I could have gone to Walmart and got in a better cake which is sad.

The cupcakes were raw in the middle and the icing was stale. The ice cream was overpriced (there were only two types of frozen yogurt, and my kid was allergic to one of them), and the girl behind the counter was uninterested in being there and politeness was not on the menu. Save your money & go somewhere else - and this is coming from someone who lives in a tourist town that deals with crazy people and junk stuff all the time.

OMC! My best friend, from Portland, OR, surprised me with a special delivery of cupcakes from Milk & Cake. Being a baker myself, its always a gamble to please me with sweet treats. These were definitely a success. And Im only through 3 of them. Being that this is the first hearing of this bakery, you better belive I will be ordering from them again. Great quality, flavor, frosting to cake ratio and moist level is on point.

I havent been able to find a good place in the Denver metro area for a cupcake and normally would have to drive to Fort Collins to get my sugar fix. Now I have found this place a d the cupcakes were great. I tried 3 different flavors as a birthday treat for myself. They have a lot of flavors and even have mini ones if you want your sugar in smaller proportions. I also saw that they had some type of frozen treat bar, but my focus was the cupcakes.

I worked for Gigis cupcakes and so I usually have high expectations for what I want in a cupcake. From how it should look, the weight, the frosting to cake ratio and the balance of sweetness with heartiness. Milk and cake went above and beyond my expectations. Very impressed and I will definitely be back again.

I wish there was an option for NO stars. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience with this company. 2 weeks ago, we special ordered a cake for my mother in laws surprise birthday party. We had never been to milk and cake and live close by, so we decided to give it a go. Walked in, got yogurt, asked about cake orders and what to do to order one. We talked with the young girl at the register for about 15-20 minutes and she wrote down our entire cake order as well as a dozen of cupcakes to go with the order. We told her we would pay for it then as we were talking and she said no, thats not how it would work. We were told to pay upon pick up that day. So fast forward to today November 7th 2020, 2 hours before her surprise party. We go to pick up the cake and there is NOTHING there for us. Nothing written down, nothing made, no cake, no cupcakes, and NO apology. The manager working there today was extremely amused that there was nothing there for us. She kept giggling and acting as if it was our fault nothing was ready for me. Naturally my husband and I got extremely upset and uncomfortable and left. I am extremely disappointed with this company and the lack of professionalism. I think I would have been less upset if I got some sort of apology or explanation from the so called manager, but I felt no sympathy from her. That is not the way to keep a reputable business around. And after speaking to your so called manager and hearing her laugh at me, I will be writing bad reviews anywhere I can about this establishment. I guess I can just apologize to myself for choosing this as my first choice. Thank you to Whole Foods for making us a last minute (absolutely beautiful) cake with a dozen cupcakes, with no questions asked. Go somewhere other than milk and cake if you need a cake..

I wish I could give zero stars. Drove quite a long ways to bring my son here for a special birthday treat. According to their webpage and Google maps they close at 9 PM tonight, we are here at 6:26 and it is closed. I tried to post a screenshot of their hours and the fact that it stated “open” now. Not sure if it loaded. My son is a little sad.Update... less than two hours later I returned to google to add a picture and make sure I wasn’t being too harsh. Someone has now listed the place as closed and changed the schedule to reflect that as well. While I’m glad my review may have prompted the update, I can’t figure out why someone didn’t do that this morning. It was obviously a quick easy fix.

Went in and there were only like three flavors of cupcakes. Not even the full size, there were only the minis. I have also went in for two months now every other week for the fruity pebbles ice cream and it NEVER is in working order (reminds me of McDonald’s shake machine) they used to be a lot better and the customer service is mediocre at best. Very disappointed from a long time customer. Please fix the Fruity pebbles ice cream machine or remove the sign.....

Ive found the best frozen yogurt in Denver! I love their unique flavors - Italian tart and Hawaiian delight sorbet. Toppings are varied and also great. The staff is super friendly and never rush the customers. Ill definitely be back and take my little niece with me.

The very first time I ordered here I got cupcakes so it engraved in my head that hey have cupcakes and the rest I didnt remember.walked in week before last to get cupcakes for my friend as it was his birthday . I wasnt going to get a cupcake as I like plain and simple and it wasnt there . Worse the cake was being make into a shake nah. the lady behind the counter was not nice, not helpful . She did not suggest that I get a custard after i turned down the cake and shake idea .

Cupcakes tasted like day old cornbread (that wasnt that great on the first day)! I ordered (3) of the birthday cake flavor & (3) of the wedding day cake flavor and both were disappointing. The frosting was the only thing that I could say was good. When it cost almost $20.00 for six cupcakes, I would expect it to taste much better. Would have been better off making a Duncan Hines yellow cake myself! Terrible; just threw them in the trash!

I love FroYo & this is the closest place to me. The selection is standard, the toppings are good. But the service is really bad. A bunch of teenagers work there, they only seem interested in their friends in the lobby or their phones. There have been visits where I stood at the register for 5 minutes before someone came out of the back to check me out.

Their staff is super friendly and virtually anything you try there will be amazing.

Great cupcakes and froyo but Im saddened to say I wont be back due to the poor service from one individual in particular. Ive seen one instance before with another customer first hand but on another occasion she got me too. Just be a nice person 🙂 love this shop but I dont tolerate this.

I have ordered froyo from Milk and Cake an aggressive amount of times during quarantine. Its pretty incredible, actually. Anyways, 5 stars on the froyo. Thats all I can tell you about. Definitely going to order some now.

I needed a very last minute (like 30 min) custom order for a gender reveal. They were very accommodating and dug out some blue sprinkles to make things work for me! Great customer service, and the cupcakes were fantastic!

Disappointed, finally had a chance to try this place out. Yes, it was late but I had a cupcake craving... spent $7 and some change on 2 cupcakes that were dry, frosting was hard and the filling in one was baked into the paper. At that rate, sell the end of day cupcakes for $1 and then customers can choose to get what they pay for. The froyo station asks for you to put on a glove before serving yourself but the box of gloves were empty. On our way out we saw a guy just cranking the froyo machine without any gloves. Meh, wont be back.

Ive been here plenty of times but as of recently it seems like the quality has gone down.

Not exciting. Most people that we saw coming and going were getting frozen yogurt. The sign says ice cream but its not. The brownies we got tasted stale and like they are cutting corners by using artificial vanilla. The cold whole milk was barely chilled and I think was 2% .

MILK & CAKE is absolutely amazing. I have always loved the quality of their cupcakes. They are soft and fresh every time I go. The consistency of their products are what I love MOST. I called milk and cake the night before an event at my church to see if they do donations and if they did would they be able to donate on such SHORT notice. Their AMAZING Marketing Manager Teri Martinez called me back the next day excited to donate. Not only was she great but the staff at this location are always friendly. ALSO, it is always clean and smells amazing.

I love this place! They have diverse flavors and many options for toppings. The price is worth it. I bring my son after school and he enjoys getting frozen yogurt from here. Im actually shocked at reviews for the cupcakes because my partner and I agree that Milk & Cake have the best cupcakes we have ever eaten. The icing isnt overly sweet or heavy. I recently got cupcakes for my birthday and they were terrific.

My daughter said the frozen yogurt was great. But the cupcakes are so overbaked and dry. My bluberry lemon cupcake had all the filling baked into the paper of the cake.For the price there are much better places to grab a cupcake.

Im sad to rate this so low. We received an email to buy one get one. We usually pay the flat rate for the cone. NOPE, apparently, starting this week😉, they weigh them! $10 for a cone! Whaaaaa? I have 5 kiddos! I was told they took off for the weight of tin they use to weigh the cones (I dont think it was the right amount) I was told it was up to $4.00 (so much for that, should be advertised as a buy one get one ALMOST half off, NOT free), but thought that was for each buy one get one.. ... NOPE! I should have ran two transactions, we ended up with only 4 cones. ACTUALLY, I really wish I wouldve asked them to just dump them and not pay the $30+ for them. They are not THAT good. They gave me a coupon for buy one, get one, but I havent read the fine print and honestly dont think its worth it to go back, EVER! Hope the kids liked it and remember. I couldve invited the whole neighborhood over for ice cream for that amount!

This place has great cupcakes and frozen yogurts. The staff were very friendly and quite helpful. Staff offered suggestions based on my likes etc... . The first thing I notice about this place when I entered was how lovely it smelled. Always smells clean and fresh. It is a small place that offers outdoor seating as well.

The sorbets I tried were sooooo good and the waffle cone was a unique flavor too. I almost took a step back with the $6 price but it was worth it. After I arrived, there was a wave of people that came in so I know the ice cream is good here. I was happy with the one of a kind choices.

Absolutely the best place to get cupcakes in the Denver area! They have amazingly moist cakes, the frosting is smooth and melts in your mouth, and there is an awesome cake to frosting ratio (not too much of one or the other). There is a great selection of cupcakes that also range from sweet and mild like their Fruity Pebbles to something deep and rich like their Double Chocolate. The fro-yo is super tasty and I like that they also have non-dairy options for people who are lactose-sensitive like me!

Outrageously priced for the small cupcakes they are and they werent even that good at all. I will never go back here. I can get better cupcakes for a box at the supermarket. Such a disappointment. The service folks here too were not friendly at all.

Although I will say Ive never been impressed with customer service at all.However today I went in to get some cupcakes, and the back of the cold case was open, so there were flies in with the cupcakes. Sooo... probably not gonna be going back any time soon.

Cupcakes are great every time we come here. I cant say anything about the fro-yo because Ive never had it, but their cupcakes are soooo good!!! Pink champagne, wedding cake, and lemon raspberry are my favorite, but all the flavors Ive ever had are great. I personally love sweet icing, I know a few people complain about it, but Im not coming to curve my sweet tooth with boring bland icing 😂. Please continue to keep that icing sweet and the cupcakes great!! Cant wait to go back!!

One of the reason why I like this place was because they have a variety of exotic flavors. Flavors that you cant find at anywhere else. Some of the options that they come up with are mind boggling but if it sells then something is definitely worth mentioning.

I went to this place to try some cupcakes. I spent almost $7 just for two cupcakes. I am a professional baker and I can 100% tell that these cupcakes are not made from scratch. So they are overpriced and taste cheap. Frosting is way too sweet. Dont waste your money, you can buy better cupcakes at your local kingsoopers. Or better yet buy your own cake mix and make it your self. Never coming back. 1 star is too much for this place.

I was in Denver on Saturday and my first stop was Milk & Cake. I live in Seattle so it really is a treat when I get to come here. My favorite thing is the brownies but I also love the cupcakes. The people are always so friendly and helpful. It is a must stop for you sugar fix when in Denver!! Love love love this place.

The icing on the cupcakes is to die for & the flavor of the cake is also spot-on. HOWEVER, these cupcakes come dry & flat more often than not.

I was a bit disappointed. We ordered 6 different cupcakes and one extra. We were excited to try different flavors. But every one was pretty dry. About half of the frostings were fine. The rest were flaky.Now, I will say this...when we ordered it was about an hour from closing time. So maybe we just got the old ones. We will give this place one more shot. Cute little shop and super clean with a friendly girl at the counter. I was really excited to take my family there for some cupcake treats but am really disappointed. We tried 4 different varieties. 3 were pretty dry including the frosting and the other had moist cake but very gritty frosting. I bake as a side business from my home and expected more from an establishment with such high reviews. Taste and texture are much like box cake mixes. We wont be back.

A little over priced. Great cupcakes most of the time. A couple times they were dry. Frozen yogurt is wonderful. Staff is very helpful and kind. However, the owner is rude, not friendly, and has very poor people skills. Owners attitude has made me not want to go back. I took my family in, to try samples before purchasing as they had never tried the yogurt. The owner got snotty and told them they could only try 2 samples. If Im going to pay those prices, and buy 5 cones, I expect to try samples before I pick which one I want. If you dont want customers to try your samples, then dont offer them. They have one price for a waffle cone, and the staff have no problem with charging you the given price for your waffle once. If the owner thinks youve over filled it more than you should, he charges you by weight, instead of by the cone, then making the cone way over priced. I was just very offended and put ff by the owners attitude. He lost an entire family of regular customers over that one visit. There was no reason to be rude towards your customers. I miss going there twice a week, but wont be treated like that again.

Milk & cake serves really good fro-yo with a decent variety of flavors and toppings. Try the fruity pepples! So good and not overly sweet. Cupcakes come in mini sizes too if you want a small treat!

The best tasting however the most poorly made cupcake I had in a long time. Its hard to actually put into words but I love and hate these cupcakes. 3 inches of frosting to about a half inch of the dryest cake Ive ever seen in a cup. I wish I could say that it tasted bad, but it didnt it tasted AMAZING like how could this thing lower my expectations so much and actually be delicious. Overall my review is confused and confused.

I ordered mini cupcakes for a shower. They are always really yummy. The only reason I gave them 4.5 stars is because when I went to pick up the cupcakes, the boxes were sitting out on the counter. I was hoping they would have been in a fridge because by the time they sat out at the shower and people at them, some flavors were so soft and a little melty due to the summer heat. Next order I place, I will ask that they store them in the fridge for me so they get kinda cold. They were def. fresh. Also, another tip would be that they could somehow write on the box what flavors are in each box. They look unique enough that you can mostly tell, but I almost forgot what I ordered by the time I got to the shower.

Used to love bringing my family here but the last couple of visits have been very poor. One time we arrived at 8:45 and they close at 9 so we were going to hurry but the girls wanted to go home early so they locked the doors early and came and said they were slow so they would not let us in. Last Tuesday I went to surprise my family with yogurt and knowing that it was two for tuesday got more than usual. Went to ring up and the girls said that it stopped at 6pm. I have been several times much later than 6 and they have honored their special. Will start looking for my fix elsewhere

Stopped by this new cupcake and yogurt spot near our home recently and bought a delicious brownie with nuts and creamy frosting. Waited a day to eat it and found the freshness and taste to be great. Give it a try! Want to go back for the yogurt.

Just came in with my husband and best friend for the millionth time. This place always has a good selection, is clean, well-stocked and the service is friendly. Tonight happened to be my bffs birthday, and when we said we forgot to buy a mini cupcake to bring home for a candle, the owner (?) not only gave us a free cupcake, but also said A mini one isnt big enough for the three of you. Take a big one to share! So nice. I have also once gotten a BOGO rewards card, I dont remember hoe... maybe they had a promotion going on. Either way, I used it and it was awesome. Definitely come to this place!
