New to Denver, were in try-all-the-ice-cream a la mode, and of course, we live across the street from this gem of a creamery. Coming from Chicago, we have quite the high standard, to which we blame that wonderful famous scoop shop from Ohio thats happily infiltrated downtown Chicago, but we try to keep an open mind in order to be fair.With that being said, so far, Inside Scoop is my favorite spot in Denver. Across the board, its no-doubt more consistent than that ever-so-popular place across the highway, and Id consider it quite the fantastic value based on scoop-size to $$$ ratio. The waffle cones are 10/10 too, so if you want top-notch ice cream, you cant go wrong w/ Inside Scoop Creamery.

OMG we are ice cream afficionafos and this place hands down has the best balance of flavor and contrast in each ice cream flavor while not tasting too sweet. We love Little Man and Sweet Cow but my whole family agrees Inside Scoop ice creams are hands down the best in Colorado. Don’t even get me started on the Pumpkin Pie ice cream which is amazing -such a great balance of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Graham cracker crust pieces-we we’re all fighting over a pint. We’ve had pumpkin pie ice cream at other places and not been able to finish it it as it’s too sweet. This place is the best!!!!

Good ice cream! Street parking or there are garages across the street and a paid lot behind the next building over. Limited indoor seating with cups for water, and some chairs for limited outdoor seating. Lively little section of street. Delish waffle cone. Tried the honey lavender and a cobbler (not sure which I had, asked for peach and tasted like the cherry -- yummy either way). Would return for more.

Lemon 🍋 crunch is soooo delicious ! And strawberry 🍓 🌿 when they have it is also absolutely amazing! Staff is fantastic! Efficient service, everyone’s helpful & the atmosphere is chill! I would recommend to anyone... INSIDE SCOOP is where it’s at! 💯

Delectable.The staff here are very kind and there is a good variety of flavors. My personal favorite is the Minnesota Salted Toffee, which I think has a bunch of great flavors and a satisfying crunch.Little Man is not far from here and has far longer lines- Inside Scoop offers great flavors and you can take it to the park and enjoy it, and not have to wait in excessively long lines.Theyve got other good hits too, such as horchata, caramel fudge cheesecake, and honey lavender.

Went in hoping for a dairy free option. They did not disappoint. The Cherry Sorbet was the best sorbet I have ever had. Not too sweet nor tart. So refreshing.

This place is a little hipster-ey. My wife got a weird vibe from the dude behind the counter, but the ice cream was fantastic.Not far from Little Mans ~ with almost no wait!!!

We hopped in for a sweet treat while we were hanging out in commons park. The service was great! They have a mix of the tried and true flavors and some unique options as well. We got Oreo, Ghirardelli chocolate, and ginger snap and they were all delicious.

Website claims they have gluten free options however upon arriving the employee was unable to assure me that anything they had was gluten free and their boss hadnt given them that information so if you have more than just a gluten preference say the f away

I had the Ghirardelli Chocolate ice cream and it was super good.

Ordered two shakes and they were...lackluster. The shakes were basically milk and they overfilled one shake and underfilled the other. Lavender honey flavor was great, but maple syrup and bacon left a lot to be desired. All in all, there are much better ice cream shops in Denver.

Great ice creamery in LoHi! Parking is a little tight, but if youre on foot its easy to access with a short walk across the Highland Bridge. Nice variety of flavors, space to sit and chat with friends and pleasant staff.

Poor service. We arrived at 9:40pm Sun 5/23/21. Sign clearly stated closes at 10. The young lady flipped the sign as we walked to the store and signaled they were closed. We had disappointed kids with us but she didn’t care. The store was empty and I guess she wanted to head home early.

I appreciated the shop was open late-ish (10 pm). We had walked nearly a mile for that reason. But unfortunately the ice cream lacked flavor. We each had two flavors and none of them were flavorful in our opinion. Even the dark chocolate.

So delicious and creamy. Skip the long lines at Little Man, grab an incredible cone here, and walk over to riverfront park! I had the lemon crunch and pistachio with sea salt tonight. The pistachio was so unique and delicious!

My new ice cream spot. Its priced really reasonable and is homemade. Also the girl at the counter was very friendly and polite. Had a good talk for awhile. Crazy its not packed like the other big ice cream shops in Denver.

The ice cream is great and there are frequently interesting flavors available. The line always moves fairly quickly in my experience. Not sure if Ive ever waited more than fifteen minutes, and its usually more like three. The folks serving are friendly and happy to give a sample.

What a fun atmosphere! That Lavender Honey was astounding. Excellent music playlist.

Considering they have just ice cream and pretty much no mix-ins, did a marvelous job recreating the Cold Stone Germanchokolatekäke. Came away surprised. Ask for a malt + brownie ice cream + caramel (mixed in), no whip, and ask to make it thick. You will not be disappointed.

I tried Dulce de Leche and Pinacolada Ice Cream and the taste is realy diferent. No so much sugar, refreshing and diferent. 100% recommended!

Great ice cream with a lot of choices - and it has seating and free water with cups!We had the Butterfinger, Mounds, and Salted Pistachio. All three flavors were great! The service was friendly and the scoops were large. They also serve some lunch items, but we came in the evening, and were only looking for dessert.I highly recommend this location.

Really delicious, I had the key lime and my daughter had cherry sorbet. We were going to walk 5o little man but decided against the line that could have been in front of it. What a pleasant surprise and the smell was amazing and drew us right in. Definitely check it out.

This place was amazing. The worker was very sociable and nice. Me and my brother were visiting from WA and conversed with her for a brief moment. Also amazing ice-cream!!! Loved the butterfinger one :)

Best ice cream place in town! Love the Minnesota salted ice cream flavor. Prefer the ice creams to shakes and malts. If you around Confluence and Commons Park area, would strongly recommend to give this place a try. Quick service, even if you see a long line outside the store!

Chocolate flavor wasn’t that great.

The german chocolate cake flavor was overwhelmingly coconut. I couldnt taste any of the peanut butter I added. Im not very picky, but maybe tone down the coconut and add some more chocolate!

Delicious! I just finished a scoop of the Ginger Snap. My daughter could smell it while she was enjoying her scoop of Honey Lavender, and said she was reminded of Christmas. The waffle cone aroma greets you as you step inside the doorway and leads you to a fantastic selection of interesting flavors. Great quick stop if you’re nearby, or worth a trip if you’re craving wonderful ice cream.

Great service. Everything was made in-house. I was able to taste several flavors. The sorbets were smooth not icy. The ice creams were creamy. I had pumpkin ice cream and waffle cone. The waffle cone was fresh. Wonderful treat on a warm day!

Inside Scoop Creamery is a great place to go especially while its cold! They offer a wide variety of flavors in for different sizes junior, single, double and triple, but once you get the triple, you may as well get the pint size they offer for $.60 more than the triple. Service was fantastic as our large group came in right at their closing hour and wanted a bunch of samples and orders. Great place!

The women are amazing here! They always greet with a smile and make sure you get exactly what you want and how you want it... Their ice cream is homemade and tastes GREAT!

Try the sea salt caramel or the oreo and definitely with a waffle cone, fresh all day!

Tried pretty much all of the ice cream shops around Denver and this is definitely the best. Milk box in union station is a close second but for my wife and I this is our go to spot. They do really wonderful things with non traditional flavors.

Waited in line minutes compared to other near by places. Lemon Crunch rocked & is my new personal favorite! My kids loved this place!

A lovely space to enjoy the best ice cream in the world. The shop is very finely decorated with beautiful original paintings of the city. And the cones-so dang good; of course like the ice cream, the waffle cones are made on site. There is nothing quite as tasty as home-made ice cream and the selection of flavors makes a return visit a must! Great young staff/scoopers and the location is ideal.

Came here with my daughter after we looked up ice cream spots near the river and park. Place was fabulous. Ice cream wasnt too hard. The strawberry was to die for!!! Staff was very friendly and offrd samples without me having to ask (try the pumpkin oreo!). Will definitely visit again when in the area.

One star because its not horrible and theyre open...sometimes. I swear if there is rain or snow in the forecast theyre shut down. Thats what I love in a business...unpredictability!! Thank God Sweet Cow is just up the road and tastes twice as good!!

I agree with the others, It was the best place in town when I lived nearby. Walking distance from 16th street is nice too as you can park once and get anywhere, just got to find the parking first.

This is by FAR the best ice cream in Denver that I have had (and I have been to them all!). They have great, unique flavors that I usually try each of before I can decide! And the staff is always friendly no matter how long it takes me:) If you havent been here yet, definitely check it out. Comfortable tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream is a plus as well...especially in the winter!
