M. Teixeira did a wonderful job with our kitchen counter 5 years ago but what I really LOVE about this company (and Anthony) is that they were willing and happy to come out and refinish (freshen up) my countertop. I dont think you could do this with any other material. It looks like new! Thank you Anthony and Teixeira!

Would recommend M. Teixeira over any other place to get your soapstone. They came and measured when they said they would. The layout of the stone was beautiful. The fabrication was perfect and the installation was on-time, fast and efficient. The installers were the best. Ended up less expensive than comparatively beautiful granite. I LOVE my counter tops!!!!

If you want soapstone, this is the company to work with!The had a lot of options (unlike most other providers we looked at, who had 1-2 options at most), worked within our budget, and were timely about everything.We love our counters, and would definitely use them again in the future.

We intended for everything in our new kitchen to be perfect. So far the only thing that is PERFECT IS THE SOAPSTONE COUNTERTOP! It is so incredibly beautiful, every contractor that comes in remarks on it. During the process, contractors would salivate when they heard my countertop plans. Then I would ask if they had the same selection and prices as Anthony LaCour, and their faces would fall. No one can match Anthonys selection, unless they go to Anthony - so they could never match his price! Our project was delayed by family emergencies, so I ended up having a 2 year relationship with Anthony. We were probably the most annoying customers ever! Anthony was always patient and helpful. In the end he gave us a great price, wonderful service and the most incredibly beautiful countertop Ive ever seen. Thank you Anthony! Whenever I get frustrated with this project, I oil my countertop and then Im so very happy!

I had finally decided to get soapstone countertops... I went to a couple places and I found these people to be great. I walked in, told them my measurements and they gave me a good estimate right then and there - no overselling or stalking as I walked around their stock.When it came time to commit, they had my details in their computer, scheduled a very nice gentleman who cam to measure. He was very informative and very helpful... We discussed options and in about 20 minutes all was set. In coordinating all the trades for my kitchen remodel, this company was the most flexible and accommodating... They were very professional and did all they could to meet my difficult schedule!Today was the install and I couldnt be more thrilled... My countertops look beautiful! The installers were polite, very careful of my wood floors and altogether great to work with. Everything was seamless... The measurements they took were perfectly fabricated and everything fit first chance...I would highly recommend them and would work with them again in a heart beat! I remodel restaurants for my regular job and wish all my contractors were this efficient, flexible and proficient!

I always wanted soapstone in my kitchen. The properties of soapstone make it ideal for our design and heavy use. A soapstone farmhouse sink was an element that was a must for our remodel. After investigating further, I was happy to see that we had one of the premier soapstone importers and fabricators here in Denver.Regular stone wholesalers only offer one or two types of Soapstone. M. Teixeria had many options that are exclusive to them. They import, fabricate and install for an upfront price; you dont have to find your own fabricator (which is a big plus). I liked the option of skipping the headache of needing to play the game of wholesale stone sold to a fabricator for a price that was not disclosed to you. That model dominates the market (think Stone Collection, Granite Depot, etc.) and feels like a scam. You always end up paying for remnants your fabricator gets to keep and resell.The team at M. Teixeria was very professional and patient with our selection process. They provided valuable design insight and skilled fabrication services. The sales team did not apply any pressure while we considered other options. When comparing the price of the thousands of granite offerings, soapstone was comparable in price to mid-line granite.Ultimately the installed product is amazing. We opted for a custom fabricated kitchen sink together with counter tops for our entire kitchen. The install team was professional and clean. Everyone who sees our kitchen is amazed by the unique and high quality design features.I look forward to hiring them again for bathroom remodels in the future and highly recommend them.

Most amazing company ever!! They did my counter tops in my old house and I was so impressed that I have them doing it in my new house. They work with your needs and Anthony Lacour has been AMAZING! He worked with me to get within my budget, was very responsive and I had a tight schedule and he pulled things together to get the job finished faster than it should have been. Please use Teixeira for your soapstone or marble countertops. You wont be let down.

Its been a great pleasure working with Anthony, Malori and the M.Teixeira team in getting our kitchen and bath updated. We love the transformed kitchen and have a newfound appreciation for the beauty of Soapstone.

We remodeled our kitchen this past summer and decided to splurge on soapstone countertops. So glad we did! Teixeira was awesome in all phases of the process. Vivian helped educate us about soapstone and the entire process. She was patient as we took hours to pick out our slab for our counters and sink. Jaquin was great in working with us to lay out the counter and sink on the slab. The fabrication and installation went well. When we were unable to get the drainboard we wanted, Vivian and her workers helped us work out a solution that we were very pleased with. Overall the experience was great and now four months later we are still very happy with the results. Our friends all love the transformation!

We could not agree more with the other reviews, from start to finish our experience with M Teixeira was beyond excellent!! Our knowledge of soapstone was nil other than we wanted to do something different with our mountain home kitchen renovation; and we loved the look and idea of soapstone. After a couple of stops at the other Denver suppliers who we were referred to by our contractor, we determined that they were more interested in selling granite than soapstone (ie limited knowledge and hardly any inventory). Luckily through my own internet search I landed on M Texeira. Turns out they are soapstone experts... do not waste your own time going anywhere else!! I made a few phone calls to the office/showroom there and Anthony who manages it was so helpful answering all of my basic questions. So we made the 2 hr drive to Denver from Estes Park on a Saturday morning and were so happy that we did!! They were swamped with other clients but Anthony made the time to show us their (huge!) inventory and explain it all to us, even putting mineral oil on various slabs so that we could see what they would look like when treated. We zeroed in our slabs and hooked our contractor up with them, crossing our fingers that they would agree to contract Anthonys crew to fabricate and install our countertops instead of using their own granite fabricator. Why anyone else but the experts in our own opinion : ) When that was all squared away, Anthony personally made the 2 hour drive to Estes Park for our template which we appreciated very much. Exactly 2 weeks later Jaquin and his crew made there way to our home with our BEAUTIFUL Barroca soapstone countertops!! Installment professionally and flawlessly performed!! We cannot say enough about this company, their exceptional offering and customer service. We will look forward to working with M Teixeira on future projects!!Sue Werder Estes Park CO
