This is one of Denvers best breakfast spots. You can avoid waiting in the huge line by joining the wait-list online through their website. It uses Yelp to track it and you need to check in with the wait staff to get them know you are there when you arrive. You can pay your bill online and check their menu with a hashcode on the tables. My wife and I both ordered the Lox and Salmon Benedict eggs. Id suggest not swapping the greens for hash browns as Lox are hash browns. If you have two people, ordering a single pancake of any of their beautiful and delicious options to share is a GREAT idea.
Everything here is delicious. You cannot go wrong. Buddha bowl with pork belly will rock your world. The French toast has custard in it, great invention. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food - see photos for reference.Servers are nice and attentive. Get on Yelp waitlist or be prepared to wait long in person.
Even on a Wednesday, we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table but food was totally worth it. Staff and service were excellent and we really loved everything we tried. I would highly recommend trying the pancakes flight, all the flavors were unique and something we had not tried before. We cant wait to come back and try more from their menu.IG: journey_man16
More breakfast than brunch of a vibe but the food is delicious anyhow anytime. My egg white & veggie option was definitely not the best but my partner chose breakfast tacos that were absolutely delicious. Nice interior, overall very clean, professional wait staff, payment option was great for splitting bills!!! Hassle free!! Parking in rear! Patio option is a great alternative as they have zip/unzip walls, heaters and fans along with string lights. All very thoughtful for a consumer experience. Download the app, get in range, make a reservation before stopping in to reserve your spot in line without actually standing in line.
Everything was perfect! Ordered the Green Bloody Mary and it was one of the tastiest drinks I’ve had in a long time. Also ordered the Carne Verde Benedict and the flavors were on point. I can’t verify but those corn tortillas tasted fresh. On top of that the staff was awesome, everyone was friendly and the team had great energy! May stop here again before I leave Denver!
I usually dont review chain restaurants, but Ill make an exception for Snooze.Very good tasting food with outstanding presentation. The menu selection is large with many different choices. The service is top notch. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable with the all menu items. Unique decor, kind of resembles a 60s style with the tables and lighting. My only concern was the noise level inside the establishment was extremely loud and at times it can be difficult to have conversations at your table. No worries though... Ill be back! 😁
Outstanding food. Seriously. I got the funky monkey french toast. Its banana bread french toast. Came with a caramelized banana I elected to also get an extra side of eggs over easy and some toast and of course some diner coffee. All in all was a $25 dollar meal. A lot of restaurants cannot justify the high cost but this place does pull through. Would recommend checking this place out, thats for sure.
The hostess was extremely rude and short with us, definitely not the friendly greeting you would expect. However our server, Cheddar, was AMAZING!!! Food was great, good sized portions. Not only did Cheddar make us feel welcome, he was attentive and gave great recommendations. He saved our visit!
Delicious breakfast spot but be prepared to wait for a table. We called asking the current wait time and were told 15-20 minutes. We downloaded the app to add our name to the waitlist and were then given a 20-30 minute wait. When we arrived 20 minutes later, we were told we could be seated immediately on the patio or it would be another 20 minutes. The patio was too cold for our liking so we chose to wait. It ended up being an hour wait total. Once inside, it was easy to see why it took so long....very few tables due to social distancing and lots of people staying long after they finished eating to just sit and talk. I cant fault the restaurant for that, but had we known it was going to be an hour wait we would have gone somewhere else.Now...the food. It really was good! My daughter had the 3 egg omelet, my husband had the Ham Benedict, and I had the Sandwich I Am. The pretzel bun on my sandwich was absolutely delicious. Our server was also great. We would definitely return!
Loved it as soon as I stepped in! The atmosphere is exactly what you’re looking for when you’re eating out. The menu has such a range and will fill your needs whether you’re looking for smothing sweet or just savory. The hostess (Jay) was the absolute best! she’s the sweetest thing ever! Definitely made you feel comfortable when you enter. 10/10 Highly recommend
Great brunch, especially if youre excited by the idea of the most unique eggs Benedict dishes youve ever seen. Their modernized day-of-visit system of putting yourself in line for a table ahead of time via the internet has eliminated long waits at busy times. Attentive waitstaff. Parking can be tough when theyre busy.
Was completely dissatisfied with the food and customer service. I honestly didn’t care about the wait but it most definitely was not worth it. My coffee mug still had lipstick on it. I didn’t notice it until after I took my first sip. The rim was disgusting. When we brought it to our server’s attention all he said was “ew that’s gross” took the cup. I went to throw up and felt queasy the entire time. He didn’t apologize or anything like as if it happens all the time. We ended up drinking everything with straws. Shortly after, the food came out. The food looked good but was extremely bland. My burrito was not made to order. The tofu was not completely cooked nor did it even have salt. It was all flavorless. The only good thing out of everything we ordered were the pumpkin spice pecan pancakes. I’m not sure why they have 4+ stars. I don’t even know why we paid for it. Completely dissatisfied and feel grossed out.
Super friendly, expedient service. Had the breakfast burrito and blueberry Danish pancakes. It was all so so so amazing! The burrito was a huge portion, well worth the cost. If we weren’t traveling from out of town I would have taken the rest home with me because I definitely couldn’t finish it - but wish I could! All in all great experience.
Not as great as everyone makes it to be. We were sat at the bar and there were flies everywhere. There was an employee that just stood there didnt do much even though there was a lot to clean up. We crossed eyes I tries to tell him we needed more coffee and nothing. Food wasnt that great. I had an omelet with toast and hash browns. It was ok. Pancakes were good. I might try once again and see how it goes.
The environment was everything you could hope, but food was slightly disappointing. While there is a fantastic array of brunch options and a myriad of adjustments for allergies, I found the prosciutto on my gluten-free eggs benedict to be old (not just nicely aged and preserved!) and very off-putting. Smelled rotten instead of just aged, and was barely edible from being so chewy. Nothing like the delicious, succulent prosciutto I was hoping for. Sadly, it impacted my whole meal.
I love taking my friends and family to Snooze when they visit because there is nothing like this on the east coast. Theres usually a line out the door during the breakfast rush, but its worth the wait!Their Straight-Up Bloody Mary has the perfect amount of spice, but if youre looking for something HOT try the Spicy Bloody Mary.I always go for the Snooze Spuds Deluxe. You get a huge portion of their delicious spuds, covered in cheese with two eggs any style. Then you choose two fillers (meats, fruit/veggies). I fill mine with sausage and poblano peppers.... SO YUMMYAnother one of my favorites is the Sandwich I Am. Im not one for sweets, but my brother ordered the OMG French Toast and it was AMAZINGOriginal Yelp review 12/1/2017
I love Snooze down in Colorado Springs. I’ve visited this location expecting the same type of experience. Although it wasn’t crowded at the time of our visit, we waited far to long for our server to appear. The food took 30 minutes to be delivered and it was cold. Won’t be returning.
Such a great experience. I had a long wait, but it didnt bother me due to the efficiency of the text system to keep me updated. Courtney was phenomenal. Even with it being an obvious peak rush with call in orders and dine in patrons, the entire staff around the bar found time to check in with me. The breakfast tacos were superb, but the sweet potato pancake stole the show. 10/10
This is my daughters favorite place. She calls it the breakfast Pancake Place. She usually gets a flight of Pancakes and the bacon. Great place to eat and has fresh-squeezed orange juice. Make sure you get on the waitlist right away before then because they always have a long wait because of how wonderful their food is
One of the few restaurants with no ruined recipes drowned into weird sauces. I ordered a cappucino and the French toast neat and it was delicious. My husband ordered a regular coffee with a pineapple pancake. We had a table outside with a burner to preserve us from the cold. It was lovely and the waitress was absolutely perfect.
Delicious breakfast spot with tons of options, great service, and reasonable pricing.Special shout out to my server today - Savannah! She was so friendly, made great recommendations, and was quick with everything. Much appreciated!
This is a solid breakfast choice from their coffee to their pancakes. If your with someone split the pancake flight (which is amazing!) And an egg dish which makes the perfect balanced breakfast. Service was excellent, wish I remembered our waiters name because I would definitely ask to be in his section again if we came back.
Great food, affordable prices and relaxed atmosphere although it was a little busy and loud inside. Reservation highly recommended as it is always busy due to how good the food is. If you just turn up, expect to wait for a table. Many options for all dietary requirements whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian, gluten free or vegan. Smaller menu for kids also available. They are flexible with changing items on your order if you do not like a particular item of food. Would visit again if Im in the area.
We havent been to Snooze in a while and were quite disappointed with the food this morning. The service was excellent though. It seems like the quality has gone way down. The cinnamon roll pancake was very dry and seemed like a different recipe than previously. My husband had the breakfast tacos which used to have the potatoes on the side and were full of egg but now they are inside the mini corn tortillas making it difficult to fold them and pick them up. The egg was very skimpy and there is no slice of lime anymore.I had the breakfast burrito which was also very skimpy on ingredients. If you are going to charge 75 cents per item thats fine but please actually put 75 cents worth in the burrito. I had about three little tiny pieces of spinach, 3 little pieces of mushrooms, no tomatoes (which I still paid for), I just settled for the tomato in the pico that comes with it. I asked for extra cheese and didnt get extra cheese but was still charged a $1 for it. The server did end up taking that charge off.In addition, I was told Snooze no longer has sour cream or chopped garlic. What? No sour cream, no lime, and no garlic anymore!? Skimpy on the ingredients. Juices were not even filled up all the way. It just seems like we should get better quality and plentiful ingredients for $50. We felt pretty cheated in the end.
I do not like the way Snooze works, with a long line of customers standing outside the front door for who knows how long. Why don’t they just go someplace else, where they can sit down and order already? Perhaps they like waiting in line. I remember how much fun I had, way back in 1980, waiting with my friends in line to see The Empire Strikes Back. Those were the good old days at the Century 21movei theater, a bit further south on Colorado Boulevard. We were there very early so that we could get good seats. We weren’t the first ones in line, but were were near the front. We sat, and talked, and generally enjoyed the experience. When the doors finally opened, we felt triumphant. Maybe that’s how it is for Snooze customers. I dont know, because Ive ordered take-out, or eaten inside when there was no line. My waiting in line days are pretty much over. My question remains, then: why do customers wait like they do? Do they really have THAT much time for breakfast? Maybe the food is simply worth it. The food is very, very good, after all.
Delicious food, great service, fun environment. They do not accept vertical ID’s here, not a big deal though the rest of the experience was great
I applaud Snooze on being innovative with the way they do breakfast its fun and gives a twist on the category. There pricing on the other had is a little out of hand. Breakfast food is the cheapest out of any other meal and I get they need to make a profit but the amount they make on a dish is astronomical and the amount of food and quality you as a customer get in return not the greatest. The service here is hit or miss and over all not the best. In my opinion there are better breakfast places around Denver where you wont have to wait in line for hours and still be able to get the same innovative food at a more reasonable price. All in all its a great one time place but look else where.
Addendum ... I just lowered my rating to 3 Stars from 4 Stars due to the Reply I received for my initial review.Makes you wonder if anyone, including those that are responsible for reading and responding to Snoozes reviews, really listens or actually reads beyond the 1st sentence. My original review follows:Snooze should be rated a 5 Star establishment and, for the most part, it is.5 Stars for food5 Stars for atmosphere, and5 Stars for serviceHOWEVER, for a premier breakfast place, you would think that Snooze would also be serving its customers a good cup of coffee but they are NOT!0 Stars for coffee!Snooze would be better off purchasing their coffee from McDonalds and serving that to its customers.Just like bacon and eggs, pancakes and syrup and salt and pepper, a great breakfast deserves a good cup of coffee.
You can find unique and your typical breakfast choices.Reasonable wait time for seating and food while busy, good prices. The Benedicts were good as well as the pretzel egg sandwich.
Ive been hearing about this SNOOZE place and decided I had to check it out.. I went to the one on 700 Colorado Blvd this morning, we got a table quick being Friday and before the rush coming in about 8:30 and on..There were 6 of us and we all ordered something different..Corn beef hash, chocolate chip pancakes, pancake flight which is 3 pancakes of your choice, an omelet with red peppers bacon cheese, chili Verde Benedict, and I ordered the French toast with sweet cream butter and berries and maple syrup.. I will say this food was delicious! Im really picky about my French toast, I dont like it to dry..this was perfect with a slight custardy middle and a little dry on the ends makes soaking up the syrup a wonderful food experience. The rest of my group absolutely loved their choices. We cleared our plates and our bellies are happy.I feel SNOOZE is everything I have been hearing and more.. YES the service is wonderful.. I will definitely go back when I come visit Denver..I highly recommend SNOOZE..Please hit like if this review was helpful and u liked it, thank u😁
The pineapple upside down pancake is the hands down best pancake I’ve ever had. A must-visit breakfast spot when in Denver. Delicious benedicts, breakfast tacos, bloodys, coffee, and pancake perfection. There is even gluten free options for the pancakes + french toast. They offer delivery for $5 anywhere within a 5 mile radius, much easier than the delivery apps to just order online directly through their website.
I visited Denver from Houston, where Snooze opened their Houston location years ago, so the original place is must try. The food was delicious as always. The staffs were so friendly. Ive waited for 45 minutes on Wed morning for the table of 3. Wonder if because of the Covid 19 or it is usually a busy place? There are plenty of parking spots as well as nice neighborhood.
Loved this place. It was busy but the food was great the staff was great. They were coming over to make sure we were good. They never forgot about us. I would go back there. May go again before I leave Denver lol
The food was absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend the pancakes and the eggs Benedict 😊
Been a few times now to a couple locations. I’m not entirely sure about all this level hype for Snooze. I see crazy waits and dozens of people around locations every weekend, and it’s generally: adequate. Pancakes are fairly nice and fluffy. The breakfast burrito does not have a lot flavor going on, even with the grand presentation of salsa, green chili and avocado. I found that my food had more often been on the on the cold side or room temp by table arrival.A lot more plate presentation, vibe, and atmosphere, over genuinely delicious breakfast and brunch eats. Service is generally alright. But I wouldn’t come on a weekend, or wait for a table. The food is just not worth the time in my experience.
I have never had a bad experience or bad food at Snooze. Weve been coming here for years, and the early morning waits are so worth it, however coming later on a weekday you will have a better chance of getting a table sooner. Batista coffees are on point, staff is incredible, and the menu is spectacular. I havent found anything on the menu that wasnt supremely delicious. Now that we live out of state this was first on our list of places to eat for breakfast when we came to visit. There is a reason this place is so popular, it is worth checking out if you havent already.
Every meal Ive had here has been amazing. The staff is so friendly and the food and coffee are delicious! They also have great gluten free options, all the French toast and pancakes can be prepared gluten free. The staff has been very cautious about covid-19 and are wearing masks and gloves, even giving individual salt and pepper packets instead of shakers. This is definitely the place to take guests from out of town.
Breakfast at Snooze is a big win! I have had breakfast there 2 times in the past week and both times were great. The menu is the best I have seen, creative, and many choices, including healthy choices. The service is outstanding, friendly and attentive. Not a value breakfast but reasonable for what you get.
Food Presentation was well thought out, flavor was delicious. Really enjoyed the funky monkey and the French toast. Eggs Benedict needed a little more sauce and a but more jelly with my toast. Just being picky, everything was really good and I would return again.
Ok, cinnamon roll pancake....... GET IN MY BELLY!!! (Its not on the menu, but you should definitely order it!) Love the mid-century modern atmosphere too!! Great food, fantastic service!
We Waited for more than 2hrs and a half for a table for 2 We were willing to sit anywhere, outside, inside, or bar. We went to check on our table after 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting and they dismissed us. Telling us “it shouldn’t be any longer” When we were there this lady and her husband that had just come in were asking about sitting a the bar and it seemed that they were going to, get sat at the bar. I personally work at a busy cafe and know that this was unacceptable.
Nice breakfast place and even nicer people working there. We order bloody mary, dont judge we were on a vacation. :). Server said it is kinda spicy but when we taste it, it was no way close to spicy still good bloody mary just not spicy so when she come back checking on us, we said the food is great but the bloody mary is no way near spicy, still good. Then all of a sudden another server come to our table with their specialty pancake, ON THE HOUSE.... we were like, ok...lets taste this....and that was amazing....We ordered Sweet Potato Bacon Smash Up and Breakfast Pot Pie...and both were amazing....We will definitely go back .....
My spouse and I are travelling from Texas and this was our first stop at a restaurant and I have to say I am 100% satisfied! My spouse got the breakfast pot pie and I chose the funky monkey and if youre a banana nut bread fan, this is the plate for you! 🤗 our waiter was super friendly and helped my indecisiveness.
AMAZING food but even better staff! Felt very welcomed and taken care of! The cinnamon roll pancake is a MUST very delicious as well as the orange snoozious if youre looking for a sweet brunch drink! I dont live in Denver but each time I come I make sure to plan a few visits to snooze!
Had pancakes and bacon. Food was good and so was the service
Can’t say enough good things about the staff at this location. Our sever was very observant and attentive. Walked us through the menu since it was our first time and made suggestions. The bloody and sidecar was great and had a nice horseradish kick. Some of the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. Overall we highly enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back in the future.
The waiting (and waiting and waiting) is the worst because so much of it looks like it comes from inefficiency. I put us (party of 2 adults) on the wait list online and still had to wait when we got there and checked in. Then the amount of waiting to just order drinks was about 10 mins. We just wanted coffee! Even after the coffee arrived (after another 10 minutes) our server dissapeared and we didnt get to order for another 20 minutes (40 total at this point). Another 20 minutes of waiting secured us 1 coffee refill from someone who was not our server and eventually food. Food that was cooked incorrectly and was not even warm. It would have been nice to speak to a manager or server about the issue but...you guessed it, they were nowhere to be found. There was a group of servers standing together over by the kitchen I guess but they never even came close to our table. 1 hour and 35 minutes later we were out. The server did a drive by drop off of our check but did not stay so we could get another refill of coffee or tell them how the food was (not good!) Will not return to this location and certainly wont recommend it to anyone.
Super tasty meal, better than average coffee, fantastic service! Try the cinnamon roll pancakes, freaking delicious!!!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had travelled from Illinois and picked this restaurant on a whim. The food was DELICIOUS, the portion sizes were appropriate (a huge plus in my book while traveling and not having the ability to carry leftovers), the service was 110%. Also we were given a complimentary plate of pancakes on the house that were delicious. Highly highly suggest!!!
Love this place and their food! Not a bad item on the menu! The pancakes are soo fluffy and so many flavors to choose from!
Look they’re good, don’t get me wrong…but there is definitely better out there…
My son and I eat here while visiting his uncle every two months, and today was the first time an employee was rude to me during a pick up order. As soon as the signature was put down we are directed to not stand and pay where we have done so every time for a year. How about you put up clear signage, instead of encouraging employees to mount a high horse to talk down to me. Will not be returning.
I dropped in at 8 am to try this place because it was the first time I had ever seen it without a line down the block. Honestly, I dont get it. The food is ok - its pricey and not that original. The service was objectively bad. Maybe theyre just so used to being run ragged that when its not packed theyre in recovery mode, but I waited a good 10 minutes to get a menu and another 10 to order. And the place was basically empty. If I had waited the usual 2 hours to eat that it takes to get a table at brunch I wouldve been really annoyed.I think this is one of those places that is just boring enough not to rub anyone the wrong way, so people say great things about it because other people say great things and they dont want to feel like they missed out on a communal experience.
One of my favorite places for brunch and drinks. Highly recommend the green chile bennies and a Rummosa! They are to die for! The wait time however is quite lengthy so be prepared to wait about an hr to be seated or you can just join the line on their app and check in with the hostess when it is close to your seating time.
Let me start by saying I waited a few days to post a review for Snooze because I was feeling a bit conflicted. The food here is absolutely scintillating with an uncompromising attention to detail. The wait staff is always helpful and will go out of their way to make your day. However, I have had a few bad experiences in a row that I can’t ignore. We had a take away order forgotten about, so the meal was left out until cold before we went in to inquire as to what was happening. The manager felt bad so he gave us a 25$ off an online order code. I was excited as this is one of my favorite brekkie spots, and I didn’t want one bad time to color my palate too much.Fast forward to this past Sunday. We made a reservation for 10:30 and rolled up. We were hesitant to order take away again given the last instance, so we went in to inquire if we could just use the code towards our dine in. The waiter told us that would be fine, so we sat down and had a terrific meal. I highly recommend the Churro Stout with a cold brew as the sweet and bitter combo made my morning. We got two lovely entrees and as we were set to pay up, the manager quickly slid to the table. She informed us that she wouldn’t put the code towards our meal and left us a coupon for 1 free pancake and a full price meal. She wheeled away as quickly as she had come because I imagine she didn’t want to deal with the situation on a busy morning which I totally understand. We still tipped our waiter as he was amazing and was as apologetic as he could be.I think my issue here is just some managerial points. I worked in a rather nice restaurant for a few years, so I guess I just got accustomed to my managers going out of their way to soothe any grievance no matter the size. When she left the table in a rush, I wasn’t able to explain the only reason we ordered as much as we did was because our server gave us a green light to use our code. The only reason we had the code was because we had a bad experience. Being in a tough spot for work, my fiance and I only go out to eat once a week. Please don’t mistake my polite tone for anything besides respect for the people that work at this place and do an amazing job. However, when the manager set a free pancake coupon on a nearly 60$ check, I lost my mind. I get times are tough in a pandemic, but when you tell someone that you will honor a redeemable code, it is no longer my problem how you figure that out. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, service, and food so much at this restaurant, but I think we will be going to a few other places before we come back to dine here.
A cool diner style place, there were too many options to choose from, which always confuses me. The dishes are so big so I think it’d be better to share them. The quality was good but I chose the most healthy dish in the menu and still felt it was too much. The waitress was so friendly and polite. She also gave us a free pancake because it took a while for our food to arrive.
I always love coming here and felt bad for never leaving a review. But today I am because of the exceptional service Rayna provided. Was told that it would be a 2 hour wait when we walked in; totally fine. It was a beautiful day and for the food I had no problem waiting that long. I dont know if Rayna took pity on our hungover looks, or if she had a magical table appear, but she got us seated right away. Her along with the rest of staff were attentive and actually looked like they enjoyed working for such a cool place. Rayna is one of the people that makes the Denver experience so amazing. Already had a lifelong customer, but now it made me a huge supporter.
Our waiter had the most beautiful eyes Ive ever seen on a human.
Our food was bomb and service was decent, considering how busy the restaurant was. It was loud inside but we enjoyed the ambiance overall.
The wait is worth it yall! Everything they serve, from the food to the drinks, is delicious. You might have to wait a little extra when you get in due to the fact that its always mostly packed, but ..yeah! Definitely recommend
Thank you Grace and Snooze, nothing but VERY best,,,the Atmosphere, vibe, great Wait staff, and the food is beyond excellent.. New and upbeat scenery and a variety of new, and old school music. We will be back and will highly recommend Snooze to all my friends and fam!❤👍🏼👷🏻♂️
I have been back home only a little over 5yeatrs now. A friend of mine took me over to the snooze on learmer st. And I was very surprised and had been going back until I moved out here to Arvada about 3-mounts ago .Then I found the snooze on Colo.Buld. I started going there and was very happy at what I found . The food was all I had came to expect from snooze. And the staff is really great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food and top rated service.
Amazing! Not a classic breakfast place, but a cool contemporary take on the classics. Truly in a class of its own
The food was absolutely phenomenal. However, the staff really had issues keeping up with the crowds. They missed one our breakfasts but ending up comping the meal and still giving us the meal, so I think they handled the situation really well! Definitely would eat here again. PS get the pineapple turnover pancake. Amazing.
