This is by far the cleanest and the most well organized thrift store in Southwest Denver. You will be hard pressed to find a better thrift store, Goodwill or any other.

The way the clothing is organized by size leads to non plus size pants being grouped in the wrong section. I have been in the store 4 times on the last 5 days and eveytime there a pants that are clearly too small for the section hung in the 14-18 sections. Hopefully the attached pic can help those who stock the racks.

We came to this goodwill to donate a very expensive and recently purchased couch. A man working in the donation center turned away the couch. The selection inside was pretty nice.

WORST PLACE to get a job at, neverrrrrrrrr get a job here, I use to work here, I got a issue with one of my coworkers every day, I didn’t feel safe working there and (MANAGER) didn’t do nothing about, am glad I don’t work there anymore

Really nice folks but the prices are rediculous. Ive seen records with $9.99 tags on them and Tupperware for almost $35 for a set of 5.

Overall this is a pretty good place I always find something worth buying and taking home. I would give the Goodwill a 5 star writing but I cant because Im not sure if the Goodwill or the Arc actually know this but the stuff that you guys are selling was donated to you which means it was free so whoever is coming up with the pricing on some of the stuff they should keep that in mind when putting it out on the floor it also sucks knowing that all the really good stuff the comes in we will never actually get to see it because that goes home with whoever is in charge in the back why do you think they show up every day to a job that pays pretty much nothing to begin with.

While I find the staff here really nice the quality of stuff put out for sale is terrible. I’ve never found anything of value here. I used to fine good books here but like all the other Goodwill’s in town they’re taking the profitable books and putting the worthless ones for sale only. Corporate greed - they never make enough profit on free stuff apparently.

If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. We called this goodwill cause the goodwill by our house said that didn’t have space for a bedroom set. This goodwill said they could take it, so we drove several miles to take the bedroom set there. When we arrived, DARNELL the manager said we couldn’t leave it (even though on the phone they said they could) he said his employees aren’t supposed to say if they can take things or not... seems like poor training and poor management on his part, he shouldn’t be throwing his employees under the bus if he never trained them. Good job Darnell. Thanks for all your help and wonderful customer service (not!) good luck in your next management position.

This donation center is a joke! They only want bags of stuff. We went and asked them if they take couches and entertainment centers. When we arrived Darrell looked at the oak entertainment center which is old but in perfect condition with stained glass doors and said No I’m not taking that it’s too heavy! He said he wouldn’t take the couch because it also is too heavy! We offered to carry it into the center And he still said no! The couch is old also but nothing wrong with it no rips or anything comes from my Moms she’s 70 years old so nothing was wrong with either of the furniture prices! They are now sitting on the driveway hopefully someone takes them or large item trash they will go! Someone could have had some great condition furniture and goodwill could have made some $.

Over all I feel this location is one that I would like to return to ..I felt it was clean and well organized...The other night I got to this location at around 7:40 pm.. I made eye contact with a employee and was greeted. As I began to look around I found a couple of things within a few minutes... now I understand the importance of announcements, I truly do.. but it seemed like every four minutes someone would get on the loud speaker and make a reminder of what time it was and proceed to state that the fitting rooms would be closing at 8:00 sharp, than remind the time again with almost a suggestive tone to get in those fitting rooms.. i by all means am not saying that the announcements are bad.. but every three or four minutes seemed a bit excessive, especially for me who likes to kinda drift off into my own special place when I shop. I suppose I could modernize myself and have earbuds playing my favorite tunes so I could just block it out.. there would be an option for me.. but I kinda enjoy listening to what’s going on around me.. enjoy it as I compliment it or as I point out an opprotunity I feel it has ... with all do respects to my opinion.. as I was paying attention and have formed one... where the announcements fell short of their integrity was after all that.. and 8 o’clock came and went ... another announcement letting us ( the same few who were in the store) know the fitting rooms would be closing at 8:15pm.. couldn’t help but think to myself “geese I’m glad I wasn’t planning on trying anything on.. I would’ve rushed and maybe missed a couple things I found ( since I was calm) trying to get to the fitting room before 8 when they closed.. or in this case didn’t close.. or really closed - but not at 8 pm but rather at 8:15 pm.. I wonder if they really closed at 8:30 pm... I guess I’ll never know because I found what I was looking for and checked out..All in all.. I’m satisfied with the quality of what I purchased and next time I’m in the area will stop in to see what else they have.. maybe try a few things on... ;)

Deplorable! Cleary the worst .Bear Valley Goodwill should be cleaned out by corporate management and start over. The STAFF is particularly disrespectful. But the worst part was not my experience with the p.m. female (loud mouth) manager? ; on 5/7/19 It is the fact that it reeks really bad as soon as you walk in, take a whiff.. Also NOT ONLY DID THEY RAISE THEIR PRICES on donated items, they switched half-off weekend to every other weekend. They should be ashamed. The p.m. manager at approx 7:45, lied directly to my face and told me she just looked in the other manager Donnells office for a cell phone case that Id returned the day before. When I walked in I had to constantly circle the store to even get someone to come to the cash register. Finally the loud mouth female approached me and I told her my issue that I wanted to re-purchase my returned item with the ticket that was given to me. I asked her if Donnell put the cell phone case in his office and she had the AUDACITY to tell me, Its not in there I just looked. I replied You mean to tell me you searched Donnells office for the case before I even got here. She straight up lied and said YES very loud and very rude. I understand that there are special needs employees that work there. But they should not disrespect customers. I took the refund ticket, tore is up and left it on the floor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GOODWILL. go to Wadsworth instead or anywhere but here.

I visit this store about once a week on the weekend. They always have a .99 color where any item that color tag is only a dollar. I had time to kill so i shopped and found things for me and two roommates for a buck a piece. Went to checkout and the tall black gentleman asked me if I shop here often and i said yes and why do you ask and he replied that he would be watching me because one of the tags looked tampered with and accusec me of being a theif as he handed me my change. I may not be the sharp dressed man that drives the BMW in the lot., but I DO NOT STEAL! So of course. I was offended. I told to please take all of it back and refund my money. He said no so i left not letting my emotions rule my actions as I was taught by my grandmother. I go to the donation center next door where I find out that he is the store manager! I do believe this company must be in trouble and desperate to hire and promote such an unprofessional person to run the store and train its employees. I think i will thrift store shop elsewhere in the future.

Some of the things here are way overpriced, but other things are way underpriced, so its hit or miss. Like any goodwill, sometimes you hit oil, sometimes you dont. The parking is good though, and its close to King Soopers.

This store is totally overpricing new and used items!! Its sad that they charge the same or more for used items. The point is to go and save money since it is USED!! They have dollar items for 3.99 or more and whats even more annoying is the sale sticker item is never ever found! So freaking Crazy!!!

I like the people who work here but the.no. profit who.charges prices for new items as if they bought thier inventory.. Next...goodwill, You could sell everything in the store for $1 and give all your employees free healthcare and still make a boat load of money. Dollar tree charges $1 or less for everything in the store.. And they turn a profit and they pay for thier merchandise.
