We looked at several places and were told that it would be at least 12 weeks to get carpet. We went in to Carpet Exchange and Staci helped us find carpeting we could get in about a week. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about what type of carpeting we needed. She was able to provide multiple samples for us, and got our carpet ordered for us as soon as we made a decision. So easy to work with and great customer service!

Very impressed with all aspects of the process at Carpet Exchange Denver. Staff was friendly and helpful in choosing the right style and color of COREtec Luxury Vinyl for our finished basement. They were also very helpful in designing our shower with tile style, colors and deco strip. Installers were ROCK STARS, friendly, professional, quick and flawless installation. Well be back to have the rest of our floors done. Thank you!

Carpet Exchange wants you to pay in full prior to install, then they send out the installers with half the order, they cut in your drive way, put carpet tack strips in door way so you can step on the needles if you step on the threshold, dont show up with materials to do appropriate transitions from carpet to concrete floor. The transition that is attempted is show below, the installers did return to do tuck n roll, but left nails on carpet and concrete to step on,

We just had the carpeting throughout our entire house replaced using Carpet Exchange. Everything about the experience was positive. Our sales person, Mary, was very helpful and kept us updated from the time the carpet was ordered until the time of delivery. The installers were fantastic. Each person on the team was hard-working, cordial, and accommodating. At the end of the job, they vacuumed, swept, and made sure that the place was immaculate. I would recommend Carpet Exchange without any reservation.

We recently purchased granite, from the carpet Exchange on Platte River in Denver, for 3 different areas in our home. Immediately when we walked into the store we were impressed by the amount of various products and the organization and cleanliness of the store. Nate Kangas was our salesperson and he was knowledgeable, personable and took the time to show us various options. After an exhausting search at other companies we finally found exactly what we were looking for with Nate. We are anxiously awaiting the installation. We will shop Carpet Exchange in the future. Be sure and ask for Nate when you shop at this Carpet Exchange.

Installers did a good job, carpet is good. The sales person came twice to our house and they still didnt get the right measurements.The install was in 2 phases phase 1 was ok, phase 2 they showed up without the proper amount nof carpet. No manager was available (at 10am on a Friday) to resolve the issue. They show up today to complete the install but still dont have enough carpet and they have to order more? How did they not get the measurements right after 2 house visits?I emailed and tried to get help so I dont have to live in boxes but no response?

EXCEPTIONAL is all I can say about Shaun Kandalec, the manager at Carpet Exchange (Platte River Dr)!!!!! My initial experience with the store (a salesperson) fell a bit short from stellar, but once I was in touch with Shaun, I could not have been more pleased. His knowledge of the products, his honestly, his follow-thru, his attention to detail, and his personality made it such a pleasant and comforting experience. The home renovating process is overwhelming and he truly put us at ease and ensured we had as little worry as possible. When I was anxious about anything, I felt more than comfortable to be in touch with Shaun regarding my thoughts. He was always patient and reassuring, and he delivered on what he said he would. Shaun kept me posted on all updates and time lines- no kidding he called me!!! You know when working with Shaun that your satisfaction is his top priority, no matter the size of your project We choose engineered hard wood floors and I LOVE THEM!!! Muhammad and his team completed our floors in the time frame that was set and did an amazing job! I was concerned about a few boards and he came by on a Friday evening to do the work that was needed!! We also ordered quartz counter tops and from Ben who completed the template to Ray and his install team--every last one of them was kind, respectful, and did their job perfectly! In a climate like Denvers housing market, it is priceless to find someone you can trust and I trust Shaun. We will definitely return for future projects. Please do not hesitate to go to Carpet Exchange for all your remodeling needs and please, please, if your experience is less than stellar, CALL SHAUN!!! Me and my wife spent 3 almost 4 months choosing the right floor after buying many sample boxes, we were finally set on purchasing 1100 square feet of coretec color wall flooring, The only problem was that I waited to long and the store sold complete out of inventory, I was super down about this, I voiced how much I wanted that particular floor to Shaun Kandalec a sales manager at the store and he called the store owner and they special ordered the amount of floor I needed at their discounted price from the mill in Georgia at no extra charge. I’m very impressed on how this company will go above and beyond taking care of their customers. I will most definitely be doing business with them again.

If I could I would give the Denver Carpet Exchange 6 stars because 5 dont do it justice. Who wants to have to carpet shop during covid? But carpet shop I had to do. From the moment I wandered into the showroom, Nate Kangas offered accessible, knowledgeable, patient, low pressure guidance to me as I negotiated a plethora of carpet options. He listened and made sure we wound up with the best choice for our situation. And he saw the process all the way through installation, which was excellent as well. Anyone can sell you carpet, but customer service and installation make or break a product. Side note - only three weeks after our installation we had a catastrophic flood in that room and the (new!) carpet had to be replaced. Nate rushed the job, helped me document for insurance, and even worked with us on pricing. I highly recommend Carpet Exchange Denver and Nate in particular.

I purchased carpet for my condo in 2018. Two years after install I contacted Nate Kangas about concerns I had for a strange powder that was present in my wool carpet. Nate acted on my concern and set up an approved carpet inspection to determine what was wrong with the carpet. It was determined to be a manufacturers defect and Nate took care of everything. He was so responsive to my concerns and gave me the utmost in customer care. The manufacture replace my entire condo carpet with no charge to me. Nate was instrumental in handling this from my first call of concern to the final day and installation. In this day and age of lack for customer care with so many situations, Nate exceeded all expections of what great customer service is. Carpet Exchange is so fortunate to have Nate representing this company. I wish every company out there conducted business like Nate does for Carpet Exchange. Thank you Nate and Carpet Exhange!

Convenient at home service for carpet selection and excellent recommendations, but the Outstanding installation by Jesus was perfection. The carpet is perfectly fitted and outstanding underfoot. The puzzling configuration of 3 stairways as solved with few seams visible. Euclid would be proud and the cleanup was also perfect.

First, I never thought Id be buying hardwood flooring from a store called Carpet Exchange. However, we found the most beautiful, rustic Hickory solid hardwood flooring at an unbelievable price. Patrick (sales) was amazing and extremely helpful. He followed up with me throughout the entire process. Omar was our installer and did an amazing job. Save yourself a lot of time (and money) and just go here if you need new floors. Ill definitely be back when we decide to renovate our bathroom and guestroom.

I had an outstanding experience at Carpet Exchange with both the selection and installation of new hardwood flooring for my kitchen and hallways. Shaun guided me toward a Coretec product that perfectly matched what I was looking for. It turned out to be quite challenging to remove the old (water damaged) floor, but the installation team handled this difficult task with great skill. The installers also did an excellent job, not only in the actual installation, but in cleanup at the end of the week. The professionalism shown by both Sawn and the installers was very impressive and for this reason I have already recommended Carpet Exchange to several neighbors in my condo building. I will use them for my future flooring projects.

We had to replace our kitchen floor because of a pipe that flooded our subfloor. We called carpet exchange and worked with Shaun Kandalec. He came out and measured for us, found the exact floor we wanted, had installers scheduled around our schedule and dealt with the insurance company till the end of the project. He even got us money back from the insurance company. I would recommend Carpet Exchange on Platte to anyone who is looking for flooring and working with Shaun was, hands down, the best experience! 5 stars in my book!

As another reviewer said, after the sale, everything went downhill. The installer that was recommended to us (they only gave us one option) did not offer us any cheaper solutions. We wound up looking on Angies List and got a great installer for HALF the price.We called ahead the day before we went to pick up the floors and they told us they were ready with everything at the warehouse. We got there only to find out that someone had filled out the form wrong and they did not have enough of the floor we ordered in stock. After about 15 minutes of waiting around and hearing a warehouse worker yell at our salesperson for messing up, we were sent to the Aurora store. Turns out, the Aurora stores warehouse had closed half an hour ago. This was not communicated to us. Luckily the old warehouse manager was able to assist us after having to reopen the warehouse and operate the forklift himself.On our way to the Aurora store, we got a call saying that the Denver store actually did have one piece we needed (the t-mold) and that we could pick it up the next day. When we went in the next day and tried to explain the situation, the salesman who helped us gave us a whole lot of bad attitude and kept interrupting us and shutting us down to tell us the warehouse had closed and we had to come back another day (which we could not, the installation was scheduled for the next day). After a lot of eyerolling and talking back, the salesman went to help another person. And then we saw the t-mold behind the counter with our invoice attached to it. We were finally helped by another competent salesman, but not before a very negative experience.My advice: just go to the Aurora store instead.

I was looking to replace a unique wool carpet with something as close as we could get. The first carpet ordered showed up at my house and did not match at all. Charles Sari immediately got in his car and came over to figure out a solution. He was beyond helpful in the process, working directly with the manufacturer and getting a very close match to the carpet I was replacing. I had a great experience with Jon Shore at this location. Jon went above and beyond to help me in a last minute crunch! I needed some slate tile - only 25’ sq ft - not at all a big order and on top of that I came in to this location about 10 min before closing. Jon shared with me the options he could potentially have ready for me by the following am - did not rush me even though store was closing - and then followed up quickly the next day with amazing pricing and set aside for me to pick up that day. As I said, Jon was outstanding providing customer service for even the very smallest of sales!

Only 1 star for this place, and only because the guy that loaded my carpet was real nice! The sales person, not the greatest... came over only after we had to hunt someone down. Was pleasant until he found out we were only there for remnants. No we didnt spend a ton, I only needed carpet to protect the flooring in my house Im renting, but we spend over $1000. That may not be a lot to them but thats a lot for me! The sales guy talked so quietly we had to ask him Repeatedly to repeat himself. He argued with me on what color a carpet was, rushed us around like we were an inconvenience. Now, he was never rude, but was not too helpful either.... I will not recommend nor will I go back!

I could not be more impressed with my new carpet and the customer service. I was in a hurry to get new carpet in my home in order to list my property. Cameron came out the next day measured and brought samples for me to look at. We ordered the carpet and it was installed in less than one day. It was affordable and I love the feel and quality. Shaun Kandalec, the store manager at the S. Platte River Dr. location, handled our job of refinishing our hardwood floors. Shaun was professional, friendly, courteous, and available during this process from start to finish. When the color of stain I chose did not look how I had envisioned, Shaun worked with the installer to find a solution because his goal was to make sure the customer was satisfied. Shaun continued to check in with me throughout the evening and the next day to make sure I was pleased with the solution and the result. My floors look amazing, and I could not be more pleased! I recently had Carpet Exchange install a lovely carpet in my house. I have used them two other times with no problems, but this time was a little different. First my sales rep let me know that he was being transferred to another store but everything would be fine. I did not hear from the store as the time for installation approached so I called them and a new date was set. On that date the installers came and laid down the carpet pad.Then came second--I was near the truck and went over to look at the carpet, which turned out to be the wrong color. The installer told me the person to call. I was reassured that the correct carpet would only take a week and we would be back on track. So-being a patient person, I waited.I didnt hear after a week had gone by, so third I called the manager, who informed me that it would be another two weeks as the new color had to be back-ordered. Sooo, after waiting a couple more weeks the carpet arrived and was installed. Realizing that all or this wasnt very satisfactory; the manager offered to have the installer move the furniture back into the room for me and also to adjust the remaining amount on my bill to my satisfaction. This was done and I feel better about the whole project. Thats why there are only four stars instead of five.

Gillette was very fast and responsive with our hardwood floor and carpet estimate, selection and installation. Very positive experience. The installations took two days each instead of one day each, but we were not charged for the extra time. The price came in significantly lower than Lowes, and the sales experience was much more pleasant.

While the cost was reasonable compared to other quotes, I was less than happy with the service I received. A job that was supposed to take one day, quickly turned into two days spread over two weeks due to not enough carpet being ordered, then when the installers finally came back, they did not have the right carpet to finish the job.By the end, the job came out OK, but the hassle, need to reschedule, lack of communication and lack of accommodation resulted in a lot of frustration.While they may be more affordable, it may be worth paying extra with other vendors.

I had originally went to Home Depot and apart from the terrible selection, their customer service was horrendous and they messed up my time line. I went into the showroom and one of the salesmen kindly educated me on the various types of carpet, the differences, and how it would affect the carpet long term. Once the sale was made everything went downhill from there. They ordered the wrong color carpet but the error wasnt discovered until it had been installed. I notified them immediately the sales man ordered the correct color carpet and we set a new appointment for install. I set the appointment for the morning and just received a call from the installer saying they would not be coming until this afternoon because they are doing a different install in the morning. Not confident that they are listening to me as a customer.

Buyer beware!! Purchased 2 wool matching rugs for my hardwood floors in December. The salesman never said anything about extreme shedding, only to vaccuum with suction only no beater bar because it would pull on the fibers, which I did. The shedding is so extreme I cant deal with it. The little fibers are everywhere and if you have pets they are lying on floor and rugs breathing in these fibers. I did not expect to be able to return them, but as a customer of many years they did not even offer to discount the purchase of 2 new rugs. Lesson learned!

I purchased a room of carpet. The size of the room did not allow one piece of carpet to cover the entire room and required two different pieces of carpet to be joined. After the installation, there was a small section 2 foot section of the carpet that was a different color than the majority of the carpet that was put in. Carpet Exchange sent an employee out to evaluate. Without any argument, Carpet Exchange offered to replace the entire room of carpet. The people at Carpet Exchange were professional, honest and extremely pleasant to work with. I have purchased carpet from Home Depot and Lowes - Carpet Exchanges customer service beats them hands down. It was nice to work directly with a company that does both the selling, purchasing, and the installation (as opposed to farming out operations to 3rd party contractors) - I will be making future carpet and flooring purchases from Carpet Exchange

Ordered 1 box of flooring from them and t mold. They had my address and phone wrong in their system. Had to call to find out it was here but not at store I ordered from. It was downtown warehouse. Went to warehouse. 30 minutes to get 1 box. Box was damaged pieces if floor damaged. Guy who brought out box thought it was funny and asked me to sign for it which I did because I would rather not go in this place again.

Do NOT use Carpet Exchange! I bought carpet and pad from their sister company Colorado Carpet and Rug. We ended up purchasing an extra roll of pad and my installer returned the pad to the warehouse. However, to this day, Carpet Exchange refuses to reimburse me for the returned pad. They claim that they have no documentation that the pad was returned. My installer claims that he has been returning products to the store for years and they never give him any paperwork for returns, rather they keep a log of their inventory in house. What a joke!

Salesman bonnie and the manager worst customer service and to top it off made me lose an important installed and they had no graduated to apologize but to lie in my face even when I have the text otherwise . Worst experience and make sure u check ur materials it come damaged all the time.

Hoping it all goes well. The sales guy sold carpet to me and even came out to measure when their Measure guy flaked out (apparently its a common occurance that Oscar doesnt call people). Tomorrow is my install day and i had to call to figure out the process. I was told theyll probably call you sometime before noon and likely be sitting outside of your house.Apparently im supposed to put my life on hold for the day and theres no such thing as scheduling.UPDATE - the guys came out at 8:30 after a call, so i was pleased with that. We have asbestos tiles and there is now some back and forth on what to do with that, but Mark has been in touch to figure out what to do. Seems to be working out.

The story of my experience is long and unbelievable, but in short, STAY AWAY from this business.I purchased carpet for a stairway and landing. Mark White, the salesman, took my information and scheduled the install for the following Thursday afternoon. On the appointed day I waited all afternoon, but gave up when they were still no shows at 5:30 p.m.I contacted the salesman the next day who informed me that they had been trying to call me all week, but he had written down one of the digits for my phone number incorrectly. He was totally nonchalant about the entire thing, never so much as an Im sorry, but rather just well just reschedule.Rescheduled for what he promised would be the first appointment on a Saturday morning, after 8, but no later than 10. He told me the job would take no longer than 2 hours.The installer didnt arrive until 11:45. It took him 5 hours to do the job. When he finished, he loaded his tools up and was gone in a flash. It wasnt until he had raced out of here that I discovered the following:1. The installation was mediocre at best.2. He had swept up a pile of dirt he had tracked into the house and then left the pile of dirt in the middle of my hardwood floor.3. While we were picking up the dirt, we discovered that he had strewn very sharp staples and little nails all over the first floor of the house, on the hardwood, floral rugs, stairway, tile, and by the back door.4. While we were crawling around on our hands and knees searching for and picking up the staples and nails (approximately a 2 hour job), we found an extremely sharp, two edged razor blade which he had left on a rug by our dining table.I cant adequately describe the hazardous situation the installer created by leaving those things around. Had we, or any of our three dogs stepped on that razor blade, it could have been disastrousI left a message for the store manager, who never called me back.I did get a call from the installation manager, Frank, who listened to my story, said he would talk to the store manager and call me back the next day. That never happened.What kind of business operates this way? I requested a refund of the installation cost, but as of today....nothing.Its as if they just dont care.

Two stars for good discount tile selection and pricing. No stars for everything else.My husband and I stop in to look at flooring for the house we just bought. We end up in the back room looking at the discounted discontinued flooring. What you see is what you get, no more can be ordered...cool with us. Salesman A points out a hardwood I love, states he has 400 sq ft (exactly what we need) and you wont get it at a better price. True story. We say ok thankyou we will think about it. Think about it overnight and come back the very next day to purchase. Going to check out Salesman B says they only have 1XX sq ft of it and that Salesman A was incorrect saying they have 400 sq ft but they do have this other kind of not really similar wood. We are not interested. Bummed. We take their word for it and go on our way. Come back the next week to pick up our tile, see our hardwood still sitting there. We walk over, count the boxes, do the math, there is 396 sq ft sitting right there. Shake our heads at each other. We explain the situation to Salesman C and say we want to buy this product. Salesman C checks us out for tile and hardwood. Half hour later my husband gets a call saying sorry the hardwood had already been sold and they will refund us (Obviously the product was not marked as sold as it should have been). Takes 4 days for the refund to post. Get a call from salesman asking if we want to order more. Husband replies that I thought we couldnt order more, Salesman says oh yeah your right, how about this other wood? Husband replies no thanks not interested and weve already explained that. Salesman says sorry and hangs up.So sloppy mistakes made on their end. If not for their numerous mistakes we would have to flooring we want. But that didnt happen and we were offered nothing more than a shrug and a casual insincere apology in return.Update: Amending my review to say Gillette (Salesman A) was able to turn the situation around. Somehow in the end they were able to order more of this product and Gillette communicated that to us when we were in the store for reasons unrelated to this hardwood. Im not sure what the solution is that the response to this review is referring to but we were never assured that more could be ordered until we spoke with Gillette. In any case, the end to this is that we have the hardwood flooring we originally wanted and its awesome. For that we thank you. Cheers!

I had such a positive experience with Carpet Exchange in 2010 that I called them again this year when I needed the carpets in my house replaced again.On April 20, 2015 I called the Denver location and spoke with Hans Pudim who was my sales rep. He said they could install replacement carpets within a few days. I explained I needed it done around May 20th, after my current tenant moved out and interior painting was complete. He assured me that would not be a problem.On May 16, 2015 I emailed Hans and told him the install date needed to be moved to May 22nd or 23rd. I told him to contact my friend who lives in Denver and has a key to my house to schedule the time of the install. Hans ignored my email and on December 18th called me and left a message saying he needed a lock box code to get into the house for install. I called him back immediately and left a message telling him to contact my friend and reminded him it needed to be installed on the 22nd or 23rd.A few days later my friend called and said after leaving several messages with Hans he finally called back and said the install cant happen until May 27th! This means my realtor has to reschedule the stagers, cleaners and photographers. It delays the date I can put my house on the market.I sent Hans an email complaining and this was his response:I understand your concerns. It took a while for me to get in contact with [your friend]. We traded phone messages for a few days before finally getting into contact. During that time, the available spaces filled in. I set this for the earliest available. I did not have a firm date ahead of time. I am sorry for any inconvenience.On Saturday May 23rd I called and asked to speak with the manager. She apologized and said she would get someone to do the install the next day. I arranged for my friend to meet the installers on Sunday the 24th (Memorial Day weekend). They did not show up for 7 hours. She called and spoke with Hans who was clueless about any of it and insisted they werent scheduled until the following Wednesday.I was planning to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I had to pay my friend for 7 hours of doing nothing. Then I received a call from the district office of Carpet Exchange after seeing my review. She apologized for the problems that I encountered and assured me she would speak with the store manager and Hans. She asked if there as anything they could do to make up for all the mistakes. I asked her to reimburse me for the $162.40 that I had to pay for someone to wait around all day on May 24th for the carpet to be installed. Today I just got a check from them for the amount I requested.I appreciate how they tried to make things right. Stuff happens sometimes. It says a lot about a company if they reach out to customers and try to make things right.
