Picked up some speakers while having my interlock device serviced. Did a half-a** install and figured it’d probably be better if they did it. Were super accommodating and quick. Very pleased with the recommendation they gave, sounds great.
Came into this place in the beginning of august to get a stereo installed in my new (to me) subaru. Picked a head unit off the wall and asked if it would work with my android. I was assured this product was compatible with my android phone. Had the head unit installed and immediately noticed when I played from my phone that the bluetooth was skipping, and that the wood panelling on my cars center was kind of ripped open due to what must have been a hasty installation. I brought it back in to try to have it exchanged with another head unit since I paid almost 150 dollars for their guarantee and installation fees. They refused saying that was not a liability on their end and they couldnt exchange it. I was pretty frustrated at this, but opted to have another usb port installed so I could charge AND listen to the bluetooth on my stereo. I paid for the labor on this even though it was their fault they suggested the wrong head unit for my phone. When I got my car back, some more damage was done to my center molding, thepocket at the bottom was broken, and the piece of plastic they used to install the charger itself was broken in half!! I just want to say the people I spoke to here worked as hard as they could not to honor their guarantee on their work. I would take it back in but I am scared they will hurt the car worse, so I will do my own work. This is a good example of a business you should definitely not trust your car, time, or money with. In the end I am just frustrated with myself for not making a more informed decision on where to have this work done since my vehicles audio set up is very important to me.
Lower labor price a little. Be more concise when explaining the features of a unit. And do a better job when buttoning things up, I had wires grazing my foot as I operated the pedals leaving this place. I ziptied them out of the way but it could have gone very bad very fast. Given what I paid for the service I expected it to have a more professional polish.
We had the ceramic coating put on our Jeep and it looks awesome! The water just beads right off. We were hesitant just because it’s more expensive, but we are super happy we did it!We then had an issue applying what we thought was the booster after a miscommunication.So, we reached out to the guys and they went the extra mile to take care of it for us and it looks good as new again.Thank you for taking such good care of us and our Jeep!
I came in today for information, and wasnt planning to purchase anything just yet. Justin was very helpful at helping me understand all of my options. I asked a ton of questions, and he answered them in a thorough and friendly manner. I really appreciate that level of customer service! I got the information I needed (plus some) and didnt feel pressured to make a decision today.
I purchased speakers from this Car Toys location yesterday (Sunday) morning. I requested they be installed; a simple replacement of rear OEM speakers.Associate (named Art) told me the technicians could not do a same-day installation. Fair enough. I asked what day works best. He said to come back at 9am the next day (Monday). I told him I need the install completed by 12pm due to a work obligation. He said he would have his tech begin at 10am.I arrived at 9am (as instructed), and reiterated that I would need the work done by noon. The same associate (Art) said the technician would start at 10am. I waited at a nearby Starbucks.At 12pm, I called to get an update. The person on the phone placed me on hold for 15 minutes. Finally I hung up and just walked back to Car Toys. They had not even started. Art then said the technician assigned to the work (named Terrance) had not arrived yet, but was just about to arrive and would work on my car immediately. I went back to Starbucks.At 2pm, I walked back to Car Toys. They had still not started. Again they said the technician was late. I ended up getting a full refund.This experience has ensured that I will never use Car Toys again for any reason. Not only did they fail in almost every way possible, but there was no communication whatsoever that wasn’t initiated by me. If they can’t do a simple rear speaker replacement given several hours, do you really trust that they will be able to resolve your issue? I recommend passing on Car Toys. Try the competition.
James, Justin and Jake went above and beyond- and fixed my car in a total pinch. I’m so appreciative of their patience during a really frustrating process. They were determined to help, and I am so happy I came here!!! Thoughtful staff and thorough service.
I purchased a Groupon for a car detail. I figured the reusable grocery bag full of my personal belongings was in my car when I picked it up, but when I got home, I realized they forgot to put it back in my car. I called and they told me to pick it up at my earliest convenience. I did, and they couldnt find the bag. They are still trying to track it down. Save your money and go elsewhere.
All the bad reviews are true. Brought my car in the morning around 10 asked to do a troubleshoot of my speakers said they would be able to get it in relatively quick. Called back at 6 and asked if my car was done, they hadn’t even touched it and not only that they didn’t write anything on the invoice to tell any technician that anything needed to be done so my car just sat there all day instead.
Arrived this morning at 9 AM to get a light bulb replaced. The rep looked at it and told me that he did not have the bulb but would get in touch with me within an hour or two to find it and get me in for installation. Never got a call back with in a few hours so I called at 2 PM. The operator/rep stated that he is on lunch and assured me hell call back. No call back.I am from Washington visiting family and have to drive back soon. I do not want to take the trip back with just 1 headlight. Car Toys in Washington installed my headlights and replaced one of my bulbs when it went out. That is why I went to Car Toys here in Denver. I figured that they had the same customer satisfaction. But after seeing their reviews, I can understand why customers here in Denver are so upset.
I brought my car in to be detailed. Horrible job, even after I upgraded my package. I had a 9 am appointment and picked it up at 3, which was ridiculous. There was still mud, hair, and dust inside my car. I will absolutely never come back to car toys and will advise people to stay away as well.
Customer service was great. Had a bad experience a years ago at another shop and had the give this shop a chance. Ive heard some good things about them. Well see after the service.

I took my car to Car Toys the morning of 5/12/21. The gentleman working the front desk that morning was the only employee on the floor. It was very busy- phone ringing non-stop, a line of customers, and this employee was still nothing but professional. He kept calm, was polite, gave each customer individual attention when it was their turn. He explained what kind of speakers they were going to install for my car as well as the different payment options. I really appreciated his customer service.Went to pick my car up later that day and a different gentleman was working. He too was the only employee working and was very friendly as well. The customer service at Car Toys is impeccable and my new speakers are bumpin!
These guys are great.. personable and attentive to my needs, no hassles, straightforward with the costs during install (I own a business myself so I know the costs of running business on very low profit margins), let me browse audio, see you tomorrow morning to get my Install done.I had to come back and EDIT, how the h*ll can I forget that they helped me replace a worn alarm remote for my Tacoma!!, I was having trouble pairing it for 2 days after the special order.Then went in without a call and the assistant manager Jacob dropped what he was doing, came out and programmed it for me, I was appreciative of this prompt service..Im usually audio savy but this had me baffled, as I joked with him about it lol!!. Cosmo and James went above and beyond to provide great customer service! I have an older Lexus and the only way I have been able to access Bluetooth was via a tape deck adapter. When my tape deck stopped working, I called around in hopes to find someone who could repair it, but instead I was told I would likely need to replace the entire sound system. I took my car to Car Toys and Como and James immediately started brainstorming other ways to find a solution to the problem. Not only did they figure out a way to get me set up with Bluetooth, but they squeezed me into their busy schedule and had my car ready to go in about an hour. I had mentioned that I had a work road trip and was leaving that day and would be driving all over through Monday with only CDs if I didn’t have Bluetooth capabilities. I couldn’t believe how helpful they were and how quickly they fixed my car and got me out of there so I could leave for work on time. They really went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate it!
I explained to them that my Cartoys radio never worked. They did not believe me, essentially saying i was lying, in part because i didnt have time to get back there for 5 weeks after I purchased it. They charged me a fee for labor to fix it. Ill never go back to a place that doesnt trust its customers.
I had a great experience. I needed to have my remote start disabled so the autoshop could figure out whats going on with my car. The tech took a break from what he was doing to take a look, disabled it in just a few minutes and did not charge me because it was so quick. I was only in there for 5 minutes but they were all helpful, organized, and patient. I would definitely recommend!

Honestly dont even waste your time. If youre just there for a new head unit just go to Bestbuy. I came in here and saw the headunit I wanted with CarPlay was a little more than $500, A quick google search while I was there brought me to Bestbuy at $379. I asked the guy if it came with installation and adapter parts for my truck, and an agressive NOPE followed. I asked how much for all and it came out to a rude $985. Went to best buy and they didnt have the unit in stock until the next day but said total cost will be $550. For almost half the price and excellent customer service Bestbuy eventually got my money. For the sake of the company I hope they hire better employees in the future as they lost a potential lifetime customer that will from this point on NEVER recommend Car Toys.

I’ve always had good experiences at other locations. The team at this Broadway location seemed completely uninterested in being helpful and was barely polite.Luckily the guys at Littleton were much more helpful.
It took six months of going back to Car Toys to fix an intermittent outage in the left speaker they installed. I paid $3k for a new DIN deck, 4 speakers, amplifier and subwoofer. It started intermittently losing sound in the left front channel the first week.I showed them what it was doing; they denied it was happening. I made a video SHOWING them it was happening. They replaced the wiring twice and the speaker once. I told them at LEAST six times it happens after the amp warmed up and was very likely the amplifier connection to the left front channel had a short. They would not listen. I asked them to check the output jacks for signal on the amp. They would not do it.After going back and leaving my car for a full day 6 separate times, I BEGGED them to replace the amp and they finally did. That fixed it.I will never, ever use them again. They dont know how to debug a problem and it was simply not worth what they charged me.

Got a radio immediately following their installation high pitched screeching occurred and they stated they couldn’t do anything unless I paid hundreds more despite it never being there before. Furthermore the radio doesn’t work I can’t click settings or anything. Extremely disappointed, staff was less than helpful and rude.
I made an appointment online for a car audio upgrade. Before my appointment, I went in to check out the store and the products. After about 15 minutes, seeing how other customers were treated with disrespect and the fact that no reps seemed to even notice I was their, I decided this isnt a place I can trust with my vehicle.I highly advise anyone who plans to do business with this CarToys location to check it out first.My intuition tells me there seems to be some shady things going on here.

Car Toys on Broadway at 6th Ave. Was the best experience Ive ever had fixing my truck. Not only did the young man servicing me diagnose and fix a problem made by a body shop after an accident I was in. This wonderful young man was so respectful to me a retired NAVY person. That I can say that the office staff also was respectful to me as well . If you have aradio problem. This is the best place to have it fixed. Im sure they do a lot more but the radio was my problem.

Everyone at this Car Toys location is incredibly nice and helpful. They installed my car alarm over 14 years ago and continue to service it. The technician Jeremy took care of my broken antenna much quicker than expected, and helped me find the part; which they no longer carried. Arthur (Cosmo) was also very kind and helpful. However, Ive never come across anyone at this location who didnt go above and beyond. I highly recommend purchasing a car alarm from them.
I bought the headlight restoration and detail package. They did a fantastic job at deep cleaning all the spots and conditioning my leather seats. My headlights look 100 percent clear. I can’t say it’s reasonably priced though. It’s a very expensive service with the detail coming out to be $200 and I only have a small front and back seat area ... truck/sedan (Subaru Baja).

All I was going to do was replace the radio, alarm install, and backup camera install.Cosmo was my sales guy and after thinking (not coerced) for a bit, I wanted to treat myself. He pointed me in all the right directions. He never tried to sell me more than what was needed, shared professional knowledge of everything I asked, and (most surprising) helped me find the best financing possible. (Might as well boost that credit score).But wait!, there’s more!Cosmo set me up for next day installation (not always available). When I took the truck in I figured it would be 2-3 days with all the new toys I got (thanks cosmo) and I was a little nervous as it is my one and only work truck.Jeremy Bartlett took care of me to the max! He told me he would be the one to work on the truck, walked me through the install, and even was able to get me excited about the whole process. My guy Jeremy and his help had my truck done that evening!!!I go back from time to time, needing replacements due to the sheer abuse the gear takes from plowing (only twice). Every time I have had to go in with an issue, Both Cosmo and Jeremy take my worries away while resolving the issues as quickly as possible.To be honest, the whole staff does an amazing job at this location. Cosmo and Jeremy B. make me feel like I’m part of the crew every time I walk in.This location is an inconvenience to me as there are others closer. I came in to get a new speaker as my sound system was not working. Cosmo and Aaron were so helpful. They diagnosed the problem as needing a new auxiliary cable and not a whole new sound system! Amazing. I left with paying $11 for a new auxiliary cable and not $4,000 for a whole new system. Thanks guys! You rock!! So honest. I’ll be back.
I liked this location, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the technical details. I used to shop at Best Buy or Quality but the staff at both of those places really was pretty bad. I pay a little more to shop here but it is worth it.

I dont even have my car back yet as I dropped it off this morning, but I just want to highlight the customer service from these guys. I had a consultation (walk in), and Nate came right out to analyze the situation at hand, and within 16 hours my car was dropped off to get work done, and I was told I would have by EOD. Hats off to these guys for EVERYTHING and I have been to many install places (Best Buy too), and the guys at Car Toys are hands down the best

Jake from the Denver, CO store is a tremendous asset to the company, his co-workers, and customers. On Sat 2/6/2021, Jake went out of his way to help me program my new remote start key fobs, even tearing apart the lower dash to find the brain and install a different antenna. After that was all said and done, he went above and beyond to help me set the mic gain on my bluetooth radio. Jake works behind the sales counter but said he has installation experience, he definitely has great experience! There arent too many people out there who will do what it takes to make things right for a customer, Jake is one of those special people and Car Toys definitely benefits from it! Jake in my opinion deserves a BIG atta boy and a raise too, many thanks - you ROCK, Jake! I know who to come to next time I visit Car Toys!!

I can’t make sense of why it only has 4 stars currently - this place is amazing! I would highly recommend to anyone in need of this type of car work. I bought the remote start including standard installation, but when I go to the store, they charge an extra $ 100 for 5 wire door look and shop . I know its unnecessary because I dont install the door auto lock/unlock, I just do the boot install. after they finished installing, the module fell under Dashboard while I was driving back to home because they didn’t tie the module. I checked it was clear they didnt do anything about them charging extra fees. thats ridiculous. In the end, the price you pay is the same as elsewhere. they just lie for a including installation.

I bit high priced. Good customer service. I did not end up getting the work.do e here I wanted. The price was to high. There are smaller privately owned businesses that offer identical work for a much lower price.
Bought a Groupon for an interior detail. It states in the description that there would be a deep cleaning of the inside of the vehicle. That doesn’t seem to have been done. There’s still stuff in the cup holders, didn’t even clean by the e brake, doesn’t look like the back seat, which has a cover on it, was even vacuumed. The rear cargo area definitely wasn’t wiped down or vacuumed. Didn’t even put a new air freshener in. Just seems really rushed. Really disappointed with this level of detailing. 100% will not recommend or be back to this place. I guess it’s my fault for buying a Groupon for this sort of thing.
I ordered a car stereo install and detail. When I returned to pick up my vehicle the stereo was installed, but no one offered to show me how it operates; my visor was broken and no one told me; and my detail was not done. When I asked them about this they said they would take care of it by ordering the part and calling me to have it repaired. I never heard from them so I followed-up with a phone call and voice mail. I still have no communication from them.UPDATE: I received a response to my review from the owner asking me to email him, which I did within 24 hours. I have still not received a response. While I was in the store the first time there was an irate customer with a similar problem to mine. I gave Car Toys the benefit of the doubt. This turned out to be a poor choice. This place is focused on turn and burn.
I don’t normally leave reviews but this Car Toys went above and beyond my scope of wants and needs. No pressure to buy just knowledgeable and courteous help from Arthur Sanchez. He also gave me good advice and saved me a few bucks. Nate Brown the installer gave me professional and expert work on my custom install. Thanks guys, I will be back!

Ive been a long-time customer of car toys, Im very disappointed with my last install with Luke at the Denver location.Car toys Promised to have it ready on a Wednesday, but wasnt ready till Friday, in turn I had to postpone my clients and reschedule, lost time, and poor craftsmanship, they left extra install screws on the ground in front of my tires! Didnt secure my trailer properly overnight!Luke did nothing to compensate for my loss time, frustration, or hold himself accountable for how they didnt live up to their promises. Zero customer service from Luke.To the owners response it would be nice if you did learn from my comments & offer some customer service?After spending over $3,000 the backup cameras dont even work!
Cosmo and James are the ultimate dynamic duo. I used to bring my care to the Bowles location and was disappointed every single time. I decided to bring my car to a different location and it was a completely different experience. Cosmo is extremely knowledgeable AND KNOWS THE PRODUCT. He knows what he is doing and is passionate about his job. His partner in crime, James, Is an absolute genius technician. He knows how to diagnose any problems and leaves the vehicle knowing everything is done RIGHT!!! Absolutely best location in Colorado. 100% recommend going to the Denver location. Cosmo and James completely changed my view on Cartoys customer service and installation

I suspect this company does fine work with its installation and it carries reputable brands, but its sales team left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Ill explain.I wanted to install a new head unit on my 2006 Mustang so it would have modern features like bluetooth. The car had a Shaker 500 system. This will be important later.Seeing a promotion for a pretty nice head unit, free installation, and free back-up camera, I thought it was a fairly good deal. So first, I called and asked if this would work on my car. We dont do quotes over the phone the salesperson told me. Ok, fair enough, although every other place Ive called had no problem plugging my stock cars info into a computer and giving me a price. So, I head on over to see if they can install this, as Im sure it will work, having researched installation on several websites. I would have just done it myself, but was feeling kinda lazy and just wanted it done.When I arrive, the salesperson tells me he needs to have a tech look at my car. Having already priced out some smaller shops near my house, I thought that was odd as this should be an easy install. But whatever, lets do it! I wait for about 10 minutes, and the tech and salesperson come out to look at my car.Immediately, the tech says something like Oh yeah, youre going to have a lot of work. He claims the Shaker 500 has a really complicated installation and required a very expensive wiring harness and a lot of time.Long story shorter, they quote me about $400 for installation of a head-unit because I have an amplified system. And if they just plug it into the existing system, it wont sound good. I tell them, cool, thanks for you time, Ill check elsewhere.I drive back to a local shop on Federal (AT Audio, which is awesome by the way). The salesperson (also installer) shows me four head units. I ask him about installation. Super easy, we do it all the time. He pulls it up on the computer — a wiring harness will cost $60, and he will do the installation for free.He has my car in and out that afternoon, and it sounds spectacular. All said, I paid AT Audio $500 total for a really nice JVC head unit, including the wiring harness and installation. Car Toys wanted to charge me about $400 for the harness alone, and expected the total cost to be about $700 for a much lower quality stereo. It feels like a total bait-and-switch from the advertising. I was really disappointed and wont be returning to this Car Toys.

Service is terrible. There was a mix up with the delivery of the parts I bought but the attitude and “how do we fix this” from your store on Broadway in denver was some of the worst service I’ve even heard off. Then the attitude from the aurora store wasn’t much better. I’ll never shop with you again.

I used a Groupon for the car detailing and the guys working there had no idea what the groupon covered. They also didnt seem motivated to look into it, just tried to sell me more add ons for the detailing.Ultimately, I spent $75 on the Groupon, plus $75 on add-ons and this didnt even get my leather seats cleaned.Will never return for a detailing, complete rip off.

Brought in a used car I picked up recently to have the stock radio replaced as the display was not functioning. The staff helped me pick out a JVC receiver w/ CarPlay and a rear back-up camera. Its been about a week with it, and its been a great experience. The JVC receiver offers more functionality than other stock displays w/ CarPlay Ive used in the past. It syncs up perfectly with all my steering wheel controls. The mic audio is excellent, as my wife couldnt tell that I was calling from the car. The rear back-up camera quality is also exceptional. Im thoroughly impressed with the work they did on my car. I may never buy another new car again knowing that this is such a high quality option for me in the future.

I was disappointed, I went to book an appointment to have the technical support team look at my stereo and the clerk tried to sell me a new stereo without even knowing what is wrong with mine.
I needed an iPhone mount for my car so I stopped by the store. One of the associates, Justin, helped me get exactly what I needed. He showed me all the available options, explained the differences, and even helped me install the device in my car. It was an exceptional experience and I would be glad to shop there again anytime!

Car Toys did a great job of installing a rear view camera on my 2004 Grand Marquis. Ties right into the Pioneer radio screen for the video. Inobtrusive installation of the camera above the license plate. Good Job.
They sold me a used defective and destroyed $1,100 speaker and then charged me twice for it. Then, when I went to the other store in Parker who saved the day, the ASSociate who answered the phone thought it was all funny and treated it like a joke. He didnt know he was on speaker phone. This store gives a decent company a bad image. Terrible customer service. I was treated like an burden by the salesman and their credit card machine was not working so, the purchase took over 15 mins and I had somewhere I needed to be. See my review for the Parker rd. Just didn’t feel welcomed right when I walked in. The guy at the front desk didn’t even seem like he cared to help us. Car toys is way over priced to went to Best Buy and saved $150 on the same product for my vehicle.
Had some issues with my Bluetooth mic after getting some work done on the speakers back in Texas, brought it Cosmo & Garrett were able to fix it quick and free of charge! Would definitely come back in the future for any repair work
I purchased a Groupon for an interior detailing of my car--it was roughly 50 percent off the list price, and I feel like I got about half of a detail. First off, your sales rep immediately pressured me into upgrading my detail package by listing all of the things you werent going to clean. This immediately put a bad taste in my mouth. When I got my car back--a jeep wrangler--I had to go home and spend another 2 hours cleaning all the parts of the car that you refused to clean. This includes anything made out of metal in the back of my car. For instance, you guys cleaned the plastic lip on the hardtop, but then didnt clean the exposed taped-wrapped wiring just below it. Why? You take a car to be detailed so that it is clean when you get it back--not half clean. Also, you cant run the car through an automatic carwash so that it at least is somewhat clean on the outside? Overall, it was a pretty bad experience, and I do not plan on bringing my car back in the future.
I am floored by how incredibly helpful Ben Pierce was for me today! I came in with what I thought was a simple battery recharge and he tried every technique to try to restart my battery. After much time, he was nothing but kind (even though Im sure he had a very busy day).Everyone else was so nice and willing to help as well. Great job!
