Bought my car last year (Chrysler 200) the salesman was very helpful, great attitude patient and went over everything with me.My issue was with the mechanical department, when I purchase the car the AC was not working, I was told to take the car to their mechanical department which I did within 2 days, Got there left my car for 2 days and got it and the same thing happened ( no AC) in less then a day.I called the salesman, I even stop by and he told me to call the mechanic, this guy never answered my call until weeks pass. So took my car to a few places for quotes and all of them (3 to be exact) were in the same ballpark for the pricing.So I made my choice and had it fixed and had to pay $800 dollars, The issue is the mechanic never answer and newly purchase car I had to go $800 out of pocket when the dealership had their own mechanical shop and could have solve this smoothly. I wish they could have reimburse me my money as this is UNFAIR to anyone purchase a car in had to spend that money in less than 2 weeks of purchase date.I hope they see this review. This is my first ever review and not to excited for it being a negative one.Not happy about this at allHope to can fixed the situation. This is not how you do business specially when you are fully aware of the condition of the vehicle when being sold and you agree to fix it.
This is exactly how the car buying experience should be, less than an hour of time from, I want this car, to buying the car. Seamless from start to finish and Nate was the best the whole way through. 10/10 recommend especially if you are having credit problems like am they were still able to help out!
Ive been searching for a car for the last 3.5 weeks or so, and the very day I connected with Nate @ Norfolk was the day that my search was over. Really cant say enough good things about this place/Nate. Horrible dealer. Took vehicle to a mechanic, 4 different tires placed on awd, broken strut, unchanged oil, likely transfer case issues, new brake pads slapped on old worn brake roters. Dealership rude when called about existing issues and an attempt to remedy. Run from this dealership, they are dishonest and do not care about the condition of vehicles sold.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. DO NOT SHOP HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ESPECIALLY YOUR MONEY!!We went in to look at a vehicle around the ends of August. When we went in to the office we let them know what vehicle we were interested in and apparently it used to belong to one of their employees husbands before he traded it in. We had seen this vehicle and all its pictures online and all looked well! upon seeing the vehicle in person we could see a few dings here and there but nothing major or eye catching. What I had seen on the inside was a big tear on the drivers seat. The seats were leather and the tear wasnt visible on the website. We decided to take it for a spin because aside the tear in the seat we were still interested. Upon driving it around for a few it wasnt long before I heard a popping sound like popcorn. It was worrying and we let them know of this issue. They said they would have their mechanic look at it. They then told us that it was an aftermarket part. That they could have replaced for us if we wanted to. We ended up signing and giving the deposit. We took it home and ended up keeping the aftermarket part because they said the part was rubbing with something else and they would order the part to fix it and it would take a bit to receive it. we ended up getting it we bought it without gap insurance or warranty. My husband does not recall it being offered. Maybe two weeks or almost three weeks into having the vehicle we were driving down the highway and the motor blew out. Oil was coming out the back of the vehicle. The engine had a hole the size of a baseball underneath where all the oil had come out before we could stop. We called the dealer and told them of the situation and since we had no warranty there wasnt much that could be done. They said they did not have to but they would take it in to fix the motor. The guy said that the engine had seized up because we were driving it without oil so he couldnt fix it. They then said that they would look for a different motor which took months and they said that one didnt work. They had offered us the option to get another car from the lot which we considered because we were running out of options. Upon inquiring more about that option they said all our car payments which we continued to pay would be lost as well as our down payment. We would have to start from zero and all our money would be lost. We also had to get a vehicle thats worth at least 50% percent of our current loan. We decided to not go for that option. We told them to please continue looking for another motor. A while later they told us they found one but we had to pay the warranty of the motor which was more than a grand. We had even gone our own way to find a motor for them but they denied it because it didnt meet the criteria they needed I guess. We really tried to understand the situation and accepted our own faults we might have had through out this process. But never have i had to deal with such uncertainty on what would happen to a car we pay almost 600 a month between insurance and car payments only to not have a car. The constant run arounds because whenever we call to inquire about the vehicle theyre always busy or WE WILL CALL YOU BACK and they take days if not weeks. We feel tired of feeling guilty for something we didnt do because they make it seem like fixing this issue is a favor they are doing to us. When it seems like theyve gone through three engines yet the vehicle is still broken down. The last straw was today when we finally decided to take the vehicle out of the mechanics and fix it on our own account. Our vehicle driver door handle was broken off as if someone tried to break in. The most infuriating part was that they didnt even tell us about it. Even if they didnt know I am calling now to get an explanation and Im still getting the same run around of we will get someone to call you back.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VEHICLE I URGE YOU NOT TO SHOP HERE.

Worst dealer weve ever dealt with. Motor blew out within a couple of weeks of hvaing it. Said they would fix it cause they wanted to help us ended up taking our car to their mechanic they never did naything after having the car for six months and after constant run arounds. We got the car in the same condition if not worse than what we took it in. This dealer is a joke. SAVE YOUR TIME AND ESPECIALLY SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I bought a 2011 BMW X5 from here. It has literally been in the shop longer than Ive owned it. I can deal with issues from a used car but when I Ben says hes going to talk to me nothing happens. The motor is being replaced at BMW and the warranty I purchased is refusing to pay. Good luck if you buy from here and dont waste your money on the warranty.

WORST DEALERSHIP! DO NOT GO, I URGE YOU! Incompetent, unorganized! Promised to fix issues on my truck, gave me a run around until I finally got my truck in, to find out they didnt fix anything as promised! To make matters worse, they broke my mirrors now! And someone drove my truck around this week and went through nearly 3/4 of a tank of gas and left my truck on EMPTY HAHA! Haha what a joke
I can’t remember who helped me through the process, but she had a red ponytail on top of her head, and glasses.Anyway. I went into the process thinking I had to have a co-signer, otherwise I wouldn’t be getting a loan for the 2012 Subaru Forester I had my eye on, on their lot. I was so pleasantly surprised to be approved with the help of the amazing lady helping us. She was so helpful in negotiating the price as the middle man with her boss, as the car did have some physical damage (nothing crazy), and there was some fluid on the outside of the fuel injectors that we couldn’t identify on the spot. We didn’t think it would be an issue, but talking the price down to keep some wiggle room incase there was an issue was very helpful. So after shopping around and been given a run around with countless dealers for couple of weeks, a friend recommended Norfolk Motors, initially I was a bit skeptic because their prices was so much lower than other dealers. I called, set up an appointment, and drove there, was greeted very professionally by sales rep name Nate. He took his time to fully explain all the options I had at my disposal when purchasing a vehicle. They gave me a free warranty for 6000 miles or 6 months at no additional cost, complete car detail package, topped all my fluids off before driving off, and 2 new tires for now I can proudly say my beautiful GMC Yukon.I strongly recommend this dealership to everyone who appreciate honesty, professionalism, and reasonable prices.
I found a 2008 Sequoia at Norfolk. Ben was my sales guy and he was awesome. He fixed all the minor details that I asked him to on the vehicle. As I was leaving the lot the door ajar light came on. I purchased 2 Audis from this place. The first had a few mechanical issues that were resolved under warranty and I was happy enough to come back and buy a second. Car looked good, ran great then the cold hit and some very loud audible noises came from the front end. They attempted to fix a couple of time and claimed to have replaced a CV axle and Rack and Pinion but the noise was still there and after that, the effort to try and fix it diminished and they waited until the warranty expired. Keep in mind I have not even reached a 1,000 miles yet. Ive always smelt burnt oil but I thought it was normal as some days it was obvious, other days not. Took it to the Audi Dealer, they reported that the timing case has a major oil leak, the tires are due for replacement, and oil is spraying everywhere on the bottom of the vehicle. They said its been that way a long time and if any honest maintenance was done, it would have been mentioned a long time ago and or repaired. I paid full retail for a car that is by retail standards in fair condition at this point. I am now set to do $3,455 in repairs for a $16,000 car I bought a couple months ago. I will never buy another from that place again. I expect minor stuff from a used car, but not $3,455 after a couple months and less than a 1,000 miles....and to ignore it after having been under that car so many times...Update: 8/8/18 I noticed they took the time to respond to the positive reviews and not the ones that REALLY NEEDED ATTENTION. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Nate and Whitney are great. I bought my vehicle there, sold as is, and the transmission went out within the 30 days and they got the bank to cancel the loan and aloud me to buy a new car. Within that time I had a loaner vehicle at no charge. Got another vehicle and I love it. They could have told me oh well because of the ad is policy, but didnt. They made things right with me and my family. I highly recommend buying a car from here!!!! Great service and a great experience!!!!
I purchased an 08 BMW from Norfolk. It was in good condition and low miles, drove great. They also arranged financing for me and I was in and driving away within 2 hours. Pretty simple and positive experience. The hood needed new struts and one HID headlight was fading/off color. They agreed to take care of both, which they did. Less than two weeks after buying car, the transmission started failing. I took car in to an independent shop and they diagnosed a common problem with the ZF transmission...basically a $15 part would crack and lose hydraulic pressure so the transmission would go into safe mode and be very difficult to shift into drive or reverse, and other symptoms. Even though it was an inexpensive part, it would still cost $1k when all said and done due to labor and transmission fluid, etc...I was pretty upset and disappointed, and knowing that buying the car was as is, I wasnt expecting Norfolk to help with the repairs.Nate called me to follow up and I mentioned what was going on. He asked me to send him the estimate and would talk to the owner about it. They ended up paying for almost the entire repair bill, only costing me a little over $100 out of pocket. I couldnt be happier with the type of service Ive received from them.

We have had the car for several days and have not had issues with it whatsoever. We could not be happier with our whole experience. Awesome experience with this dealership. At first I was very hesitant to continue my sale due to their expanse of cars and very small lot, but they take care to get you everything you need and dont play classic salesman. Nate was especially helpful and a great personality towards someone looking to buy. The car i bought was in excellent shape, and kept indoors for me. Very clean car and honest staff. The only reason I pulled a star was because the advertising for my specific vehicle included options that the vehicle didnt actually have.

We paid cash so cant speak to the financing process but the were very reasonable in negotiation and was on overall friendly buying experience. Did not feel pressured to buy!! Ive had my car less than a week and a bunch of lights came on (check engine, airbag, cruise, tires) - well turns out my $11K investment is now over $12.5K as it needs a brand new catalytic converter...And thats in the first week

$21k for a vehicle, that needs a new rear differential within the first month of purchase, 2nd month front wheel bearings, and cv axles, now 4 months later and $7k in repair costs its needing piston rings. Thank god its not my daily vehicle, but I got taken for a ride. Smh!!!

Went to look at some vehicles and no one helped us at all. Only one guy on the phone. The car we wanted to see wasnt even there! It was at their other lot. They post from both lots together and you either have to guess which lot a car is no you want to see or they just put one address and you go and its not there but the other one. Too bad for them. I had cash in hand. AND YES I REALLY DID!!!!

Whittney was amazing and worked extremely hard to get me in the car I wanted, at the price point I needed.But... 2 months into buying the car it was in the shop with issues that the Norfolk team stated were checked and in great condition. Long story short, I do not trust the vehicles condition that was stated and any of the maintenance checks performed and/or the accompanying paperwork from Norfolk.

Buying experience was decent, their initial followup was adequate but they failed to deliver on their promise to get me a replacement part for my vehicle. Emails to Nate the GM went unanswered, a phone conservation Daniel the salesman resulted in empty promises and no subsequent actions.So if you get what you want initially you should be okay, if not I hope you have better luck than I did.

As Tony the Tiger once said, Theyre Greeeeeeaaaat!Ive bought my fair share of vehicles from dealerships but this one stands out for a multitude of reasons...First, upon walking onto any dealership lot you expect the first hyena... I mean car salesman... to corner you like a wide eyed gazelle to have for dinner which is what I expected walking onto this lot. I was shocked to say the least when I walked onto the Norfolk lot and Ben introduced himself and immediately backed off to let me look with no pressure whatsoever. He let me come to him when I was ready for a test drive and handed over the keys with none of that fake oh my god, this cars amazing, let me coerce you to buy it! crap that Ive experienced at prior dealers.Took the car out for a test run, came back, and immediately had that Oh my god, kill me now, Id rather beat my head against a brick wall 5000 times feeling because I knew financing was next... well, qualms about that were immediately dismissed after meeting Nate for financing. He was very personable, honest, and never once gave me that well, we cold finance you if... (throw in 500 variables here) speech (does not apply to all applicants for financing because everyone has a different situation of course)... he gave it to me straight and worked it out to get me a great rate.From there it was smooth sailing... while waiting for financing, Ben and Nate actually came over and had a conversation with me. I watched as other customers came through and whats so different about this dealership is that they are extremely personable and get to know each and every one of their customers, not to mention, extremely helpful. When transferring things out of the old into the new car I was struggling to get the steering wheel cover off (man those things are a pain in the rear!) and an older gentleman who worked there noticed and came over to do it for me.Whether youre a first time car buyer or a seasoned pro this place would be great for anyone! Theyre fair with their prices, very personable, and the most helpful dealership Ive ever been to. I can say that I am a very happy owner of a 2008 Honda CR-V with extremely low mileage and I got it for a great price!If you do end up going here; Ben, Nate, Matt, and Whitney are great to do business with! I went to go look at a car and found 1 I was interested in. I was told to fill out an app online and I did. I called back the same day to have *josh* tell me ill call you right back Im going to have somone pull your file. I ended up calling the next day to be told hes busy he will call me right back. Worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. I WOULD NEVER buy a car from a place who cant even show respect to a BUYER. I couldnt imagine how bad they would treat you once you sign your life away.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle last September and already the piston rings in the engine are bad as well as the catalytic converter. The repair shop said it basically needs a whole new engine which costs at least $9,000. We paid extra for a warranty that has failed to cover any of the repairs. We are basically out of a vehicle that we still owe $10,000 on.
Great experience. Whittney and Ben were great, not pushy and a hundred percent honest and transparent. You dont get that often at car dealerships but you do get it at Norfolk.

These people are snakes. They sold us a car for almost triple its value and refused to hold up their end of the we owe contract. After calling multiple times they have yet to return our phone calls in its regard. It was our fault for purchasing a car before checking its Kelly blue book value. Now we are stuck upside down with a car that is virtually worthless and these people have nothing to say for it. Shop here at your own risk.
Their prestige cars are not working properly...either smoking, 44 stuck on high gear, knocking in the engine, or torn apart from the inside, has small body damage, and more that they deceive in their pictures which makes their vehicles OVER priced, and some of the staff dont have the decency to call back.If you are looking for a nice car, dont waste your time.I had a very bad experience.

If I could give no stars I would. This has BY FAR been the worst car buying experience Ive ever had.Shady, constantly going back on their word on things they would fix or have done as part of the sale agreement. Really disorganized. Turned in the paperwork to so late that the loan payment information was late (not a problem because the people over at Westminster Credit Union knew whos fault it was) and again because of late paperwork on their part there we still dont have our plates - its been 2 months.Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
Terrible experience, kept me waiting in the lobby for a couple hours not giving me an update on financing, I had to keep asking and looking around for the guy that was helping me... You can tell they are scammers. Offered me the LOWEST amount for my truck that I was trading in and wouldn’t budge on the price of their vehicle that i wanted. No one was friendly... I wouldn’t go here again if it was my last option. Just a heads up. I hope this helps someone.
I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE!!! I went to look at 2011 Nissan Juke SL yesterday that they had on the lot. The staff was friendly until I came back from having a trusted mechanic look at it. They didnt put gas in it for the test drive so I had to and they wouldnt reimburse me for it. The car was a lemon!! They did the best they could to hide it but on my way to my mechanic it started acting up. Constant misfire, an open recall, bolts missing from the engine and much more. RUN AWAY!!!! They will respond with something about the matter to make it look like they care, THEY DONT. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY. Im glad I walked away.
Buyer beware! Do not buy from here. They sold me a car that was unsafe for my family. They said they fix the brakes on the car and got new tires. The tires they put her on the vehicle were dry rotted. Accordingly to the midas they did not put brakes on it at all, and the bearings are all broken. DO NOT GO HERE

Ok so starting from the beginning, I found a dark blue 2011 Audi s4 ok Craigslist. Called Whitney and she was very helpful! She offered to have the vehicle taken to my shop of choice for PPI!! She dropped it off, my people looked at it. There were a few minor issues. There were some stored codes like someone just cleared a check engine light but I looked into the codes, my shop reached out to a dealer. Found out there was an extended warranty on the issue throith the dealer. No problem. I tell Whitney that I want to buy it. I do a credit app which took less than an hour to hear back. Came in signed paperwork and was on my way. For my first vehicle financing experience it went very smoothly I would highly recommend Whitney to anyone looking for a good value on a vehicle! They even let me leave my daily driver there until I could come back the next week for it!....note, it could have went sideways if I didnt do my research but when you have a good shop and know what youre looking for and do your homework things tend to work out! 5 golden stars for Whitney!!!

**Dont buy the grey 07 Subaru impreza wrx with red rally flaps and carbon fiber hoodscoop**If I could rate zero stars I would.Whitney is nice....thats about the only thing good about this place.So I purchased a 2007 impreza wrx...for $12995... and a $750 warrenty...I live an hour and a half away from this place, by the time I got there to test drive it was dark..Well we mentioned to Whitney after our test drive that the passenger window motor was broken..the door handle mechanisms were sticking open, there was smoke,but smelled like antifreeze and we heard a chirping sound. She had her mechanic look at it...he said...theres no chirping that could hear and that they topped off ALL the fluids and spilt antifreeze on the block.We took his word, but purchased warranty just incase.Next day chirping INCREASES, so we take it into our certified mechanic..He says throw out bearing is shot, if it goes, its gonna mess the clutch upSo I call Whitney and tell her.She says bring it back we will fix the throw out bearingSo we drive the 3 hour round trip to drop off our car to get the throw out bearing replaced like Whitney said...they kept the car for almost 3 days.... they fixed the passenger door motor.CHARGE ME $250And return it...EXACTLY THE SAME, but with a new clutch not the bearing though....Throw out bearing howling all the way home.. ALONG with a NEW clank noise now...I was told I would get a detailed email with new parts numbers ...never got it....So then next day right...the clanking was jusr NOT right so I take it back to MY mechanic.. they lift it up...AND THERE ARE NO DRIVETRAIN BOLTS.... their mechanic PUT ME AND MY 2 TODDLERS LIVES AT RISK BY NOT PUTTING THE DRIVETRAIN BOLTS BACK IN...???? LIKE COME ON PEOPLE.. ALSO... for some brilliant reason they decided to top off my fluids... and filled the power steering fluid almost to the brim...blowing a seal and messing up my power steering rack ... which I got quoted $1500 for, tried to use my warrenty, and claim was denied because my mechanic came to the conclusion NORFOLK motors mechanic messed up the rack so they were liable.ALSO the air conditioning turned on during test drive but within a couple days the a.c. clutch went out.(makes a HORRIBLE grinding noise when on air or defrost.)ALSO the CD player didnt work but I didnt have a CD to test it on test drive (sneaky sneaky)ALSO THEY FAILED TO MENTION THE CAR HAD HAIL DAMAGE...sold it to me in the dark, with a carfax that said garunteed no hail damage.Called the owner to confront him about the matters, he said he wouldnt fix the steering and to just bring the car on back because they forgot to mention the hail damage.....honerable.....So I did just that!!!Brought the hunk of junk back to them,And now, 2 days later....its BACK UP ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR THE SAME $12995 ... SO WE ALL KNOW THEY DIDNT FIX A SINGLE PROBLEM..(power steering rack replacement, throw out bearing, a.c. clutch fan, door mechanisms, CD player, cracked windshield, damage caused on DRIVETRAIN from being driven for over 100 miles with no bolts AND SO SO SO MUCH MORE.) .AND JUST THREW IT BACK UP THERE FOR THE NEXT UNLUCKY VICTIM...THEY ARE EVEN SAYING IT HAS STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS, AND A WORKING CD PLAYER ON THEIR WEBSITE ADD....FALSE ADVERTISMENT AT ITS FINEST. zero wheel controls and cd player broken.(I bet u THEYRE GONNA BE SURE TO MENTION THE HAIL....SO THAT NOBODY CAN RETURN IT AFTER IT BREAKS DOWN IN 2 DAYS...)I got my full refund..plus some?lol... but wow BUYER BEWAREEEE!Theres a reason why there front door is shattered and the place looks like a dump. Also a reason why their mechanic does such a HORRIBLE JOB is because hes probably not a mechanic. Im a 25 yr old chick and know MORE....LIKE FORGETTING DRIVETRAIN BOLTS??? OMG.... JUST NEVER AGAIN...#ENDRANT
I bought a audi A6 no more then 2 months it was hard to start now 6 months later it would not start asked for help Norfolk said they could not help. Took it on fpymd out it is steering column module costing me about 800.00 to fix. I thought I was buying a good car turned out it was not.Im sorry I was never offered anything much less a extended warranty. Why would I decline that it dont make sense.they never fixed anything. Im just dissapointed in your company.
