Had a 3pm appt to change a simply headlight on my 2011 Outback. I told it should take 1-1:15 hours. It took nearly 2 hours and when I asked the Service Advisor what the ETA to completion when time was running longer than it should, she didnt seem to be at all in a hurry to get me the information. Why make an appointment?Then I received the Automobile Status Report and you wanted to charge me close to $200 parts and labor to replace two fog lights which took me 20 minutes to complete on my own.

I wouldnt normally rate buying a car as a great experience...but this was the easiest car purchasing experience Ive ever had, and Ive purchased a LOT of cars! Jacob Her made it SUPER easy, in and out in less than 2 hours. And he made himself available to answer all my dumb questions, even days after the purchase. Another sales person even helped me with the MySubaru app a couple days after my purchase, when Jacob was off. So, kudos to Mike Shaw Subaru! I mean if youre buying a car, and choosing a Subaru dealership, I can definitely recommend this one! (Dont let the trailers fool you!!!)

We have had a very poor experience with the service department. This is for a newly purchased old 2007 Forreter. There is very poor communication on updates, it was sent through email, and I am not one that checks email diligently. After 24 hours of noticing they were waiting on approval. The car was in the shop for 6 days, no one even called us to let us know it was ready, even after my complaints and the 2nd time qe has to bring it back. The hold times to get through to service are at least 15-20 mins and then you cant even get through to your contact person.We asked to have the car inspected this will be the 3rd time we are bringing the car back, due to things that werent discovered the last 2 times we have been there. The pictures show a corroded battery and battery terminal, however there is a new screw. It appears the corrosion was cleaned off and a new screw put on possible after breaking, but never fixed the obviously corroded away battery terminal. Kevin has been good at listening to my concerns, but it seems there are serious internal issues with communications and thorough service repairs/mechanics.

I purchased two cars from Mike Shaw Subaru and both experiences were great! I was able to get the most of my trade in and get an amazing deal for a 2018 Forester. After driving around for a few weeks, I realized I needed more tech (what I was used to in my prior car). Eric Grimm helped me both times find an amazing car that suited my needs. Not only was Eric responsive and communicative, he was SUPER patient with my choosy-ness. Im happy with my purchase of my newer ;) car that is a 2020 Forester Touring. And the front desk staff is super kind and attentive!

Update your website we all know cars are in demand. When your website said it’s in stock I’ll filled the paper work out was approved and I took a credit hit to my score. I got an email from the sales person said it sold as soon as it came in. Awesome no problem but be a responsible business and update your website with vehicles that you sold.

Bought a used car from them, service wasn’t bad but the car was 8k miles over due for a an oil change, empty tank. The clip for the intake was put in the middle of the tube instead of at the end. The engine cover was completely loose and I didn’t notice until part of the plastic was burning. Not the best tbh but the cars nice lol.

Super helpful staff, but maybe a bit too helpful? I dont think they realize that some people go to dealers purely out of research. Talk. About. Pressure. It almost makes me not want to return to ANY dealer, ever. Was my 12 times I said I am not interested in buying today not enough? Maybe Ill get it tattooed on my forehead next time. I get you need to make sales and hit a quota, but you make the experience terrible. You know the car dealer Dad from the movie, Matilda? Stingy, pressuring, uncomfortable. Stereotypical, sadly. Anyways, if you go there to buy a car ~ awesome, theyll do anything to sell. If you go there as a first time buyer? or just out of curiosity? Prepare to have your car keys confiscated until you decide to buy. Sickening.

Drove to the service shop with no appointment. I didn’t have a metric socket to loosen bolts needed to replace my brake light bulbs. I had purchased my own bulbs which I had with me. Kathy told me to drive on in and asked Russel to help. Within 5 minutes, they had removed and replaced both bulbs at no charge. It reminded me of the good old days when they rushed out to help fill your gas tank, check your oil and wash your windshield. Always EXCELLENT customer service here. Thank you Kathy and Russel!

The service department did not tell me they were driving my vehicle a mile off of the property to a different location for service. SoA already has their eyes on my vehicle and will provide that feedback to the rep I’m in contact with.Update: It’s been sitting in the parking lot of a hardware store for an hour now.Update: Vehicle returned with the front window down. Dusty inside.Haven’t tested the Eyesight recalibration yet.Seems like dealerships do not care about customer vehicles in Colorado. Some people like to keep their vehicles nice inside, you know?

My experience was awesome! I was hesitant due to an experience I had two years ago at this location. I was greeted by an employee that had a welcoming attitude, then Dan Burk took great care of me. I had my two Boxer dogs there and all the employees were greating me with treats and smiles. In the end they made sure to give me a great price on my service. I had spent 1 month shopping for the perfect car after my hit and run. I decided to take the next step by emailing the dealership and Eric Grimm from Mike Shaw immediately contacted me the next day. He helped me tremendously during the purchase. We sat down and discussed what was best for my financial situation but I was adamant on a brand new crosstrek. He insisted that I do wait to test the vehicle but my decision was already final. But I think he knew that I meant business and we immediately got to work.He had been so kind in making sure the decision was the best decision for me. He helped me reserved the vehicle as it was en route. He kept me updated constantly and even helped me start the purchase process when the vehicle arrived. The minute I parked and saw my beautiful crosstrek on the lot I knew instantly that it was meant to be. The custom service Eric provided was amazing and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I am forever grateful.

I thought these guys were great. I was looking for a truck and could have easily gone down the road to Omeara but I have purchased from them and never will again. Eric was the sales guy and adapted to my needs as I had my son sleeping in my vehicle, he came out to me, allowed me to take all the time I needed on the test drive and made the paperwork easy. Im use to dealers being extremely pushy and fight on the cost, that was not the scenario here. They also paid top dollar for my trade in.

This is an updated review #2.I must say Mike Shaw Subaru takes care of their customers!After an issue with a pre-owned Subaru, I couldnt be happier. The issue was addressed after a couple phone calls in a very quick manner. Im very happy with the way they handle customer support. Russell and Danny are great people to deal with in the service department and Mike Patrick is the man when problems arise.Thank you Mike Shaw Subaru, I will be a returning customer and will highly recommend your dealership!From a very satisfied customer.

Caveat: if things worked out how they did at my second trip to Mike Shaw Subaru, this would be a five star review. The first car didn’t work out, but my experience with Austin during the second go-round really made up for it. He in particular deserves the 5 stars. Mike Shaw has professional team that will try to make things right when something goes wrong on their end, which is why I came back to purchase from them again after moving out of state.

Doesnt deserve any form of recognition this place was horrible from the get go. Highly recommend never going here for maintenance of any kind. Worst dealership service Ive ever experienced. Arrogant staff, horrible service, they will order the wrong parts then over charge you and only give you half your money back. Pathetic for Subaru.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I was especially impressed with Danny the Service Manager. He was professional, quick to respond, positive and knowledgeable. I would rate Danny in the top 3 Service Managers I’ve dealt with in my 43 years of driving. The thing that kept me from giving a perfect rating was the cost, which I found high for the work done.

Jamie helped us find the perfect fit for us. She was super nice and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for a better car buying experience.

Rip off, Total rip off. Car was listed at 29k and i scheduled an appointment right away. All of a sudden the price was 34k within 8 hrs and it was a 4 year old car. Do you think car prices goes up like wallstreet??? Carvana had the same car for less mileage at 27k. Hence, never go to this place because they dont want to do business they want to steal your money. This place just lost lot of customers because 4 of my members wanted a new car and they are not getting a single customer now. Good job guys.

Keith made the whole process of purchasing a new Crosstrek seamless and painless. The financing was discussed prior to meeting the finance department and each additional add on or package was explained in depth. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Mike Shaw Subaru.
