Broke down in Denver on a road trip through - needed to be seen immediately and felt so appreciative that they made time to squeeze me in and take care of my car. Had a great experience working with Alex and the shop. I live in the mountains and had the car towed down, and was able to pick it up after hours when it was ready which made it very convenient. They got me in within a reasonable time and had my Forester fixed within a day or 2, even with it being an odd electrical issue. Ill definitely be working with them again and recommend them.

We were on a road trip to Denver when the low oil light came on. It was 4:30 in the afternoon. We found the Subie Doctor online and they were willing to take a look even though they would be closing soon. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Amazingly, they only charged for a quart of oil that they put in. If I lived in Denver, thats the only place I would take my Subaru. I highly recommend this business!

Best Subaru shop in Denver! Took my car here after it had been stolen to have it looked over, they were extremely attentive, let me know what the progress was on repairs daily and when I got it back the work was of the highest quality. A few weeks later I had a coolant line explode, and I knew exactly who to call, they squeezed me in that day diagnosed the issue and my car was ready to go about 24 hours later. I will never take my car to another shop, they made me feel welcome, and a part of their community of Subaru owners.

Had taken my Subie to a different Subaru specialist who was just trying to get me to throw money at them. As soon as I took my car here they were very thorough and explanatory about what was wrong with my car, which was a very simple fix. They got me out of here in no time and had me more educated about my specific vehicle. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back

I went to the Subie Doctor for a second opinion/diagnostic on my Impreza when another shop claimed I needed an expensive repair. They were able to fit me in their schedule quickly, did a thorough inspection, and provided peace of mind that there wasnt a need for the expensive fix after all. This past week has been a whirlwind 😅 while on vacation heading to Denver from Phoenix for the week, a few miles outside the city the clutch on my boyfriends 2014 WRX completely went out and left us stranded on the side of the freeway 😣 luckily we found a shop that specializes in Subies online that was both highly rated with 4.9 star reviews and has shining reviews on trust 🧡 we got towed over to the Subie Doctor and they were sooo nice and helpful even though it was close to closing time 🙌 they saw that we were in a bind being on vacation and needing to get home at the end of the week and did us the biggest solid ever! 🧡🚗 the team pulled some strings and were able to diagnose Subie the day of even though it was close to closing time. Turns out the clutch had exploded on itself and we needed a new one. We got a call from the manager the same day and walked us through options in replacing the clutch. Have had a nagging CEL on my bugeye for YEARS, have been to 5 different shops to diagnose/fix the issue - these guys had it diagnosed and fixed in a few days; 0 fuel smell at all anymore! Wish I would’ve found them sooner (and wish they were closer to where I live; hint hint, Subie Dr South 😜).The loaner car was an awesome amenity - I live and work a few hours away, in order to give them enough time, I had to leave my baby for a while. Was still able to go to work while my car was getting fixed.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Subie Doctor so when my 2003 wrx began to leak oil I didn’t hesitate to take it to them. They did a full diagnostic of the vehicle and sent me a list of everything they found on the car that needed some attention. The process of approving which repairs I wanted them to take care of was super simple and they didn’t try to pressure me into any additional repairs like I’ve seen at other shops. Perry the Tech was great at keeping me in the loop about any other additional issues with the car and when he wasn’t available for questions Alex and the other employees didn’t hesitate to get me the answers I needed. Will definitely be using them again in the future for maintenance as well as performance when the time comes. Do not hesitate to to take your Subaru to the Subie Doctor!

I sold my car to Subie Doctors 3 years ago next week. I felt like the price they gave me for my 2001 2.5RS was fair for the condition it was in at the time. After selling my 2.5 RS to them, I was missing it. About 3 weeks ago I put a post on social media looking for my old car. The service advisor wrote me and said they could reach out to the current owner and see if they wanted to contact me. Well they did reach out to me and I ended up buying my Subaru back after 3 years. The new owner only put 900 miles on it in the 3 years. The car currently has 232k on it. I bought it in 2009 with 70k and sold it in 2018 with 231k. I know the list of parts the car needed was long. They did a paint job, a little body work and replaced the engine (I do miss the uneven Borla headers that where on it, they did keep the cat-back Borla exhaust on it so at least it has a little noise). Over all I am impressed with the car and it feels refreshed, looks great and is ready for another 200k.Thanks again Subie Doctor for making the old girl look great and helping me find my old car!

Absolutely positive experience. I came here after AutoNation Subaru couldnt diagnose an obvious problem correctly. The subie doctors needed only 30 minutes (vs 4 hours at the dealership) to find the issue and give me estimates. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and cozy waiting room with tables and wifi.

We have a 2016 WRX, and Subie Dr team has given us the best, hands-down, automotive service experience. They have done a couple repairs on our vehicle. One was a leak in the upper oil pan, where they worked directly with our extended warranty company, and kept us in the loop through all steps in the process. Recently, we brought our car to them with a horrible noise on the driver’s side of the engine. It turned-out to be an exhaust leak, which they repaired for the cost of the part because it’s a common issue with our year/model. We would not take our Subaru to anyone else other than Alex and the rest of the team. They are awesome from start to finish. Thanks guys!

I have taken my Crosstrek here for multiple oil changes and I have recently trusted them to fix my AC - its now blowing cold air like a new car! they are also provided me with a courtesy inspection of things I should be looking out for in the coming months. My car has over 120,000 miles on it and I appreciated the insight and heads up they provided me. While I live in Denver, I will only trust my car to The Subie Doctor.

These guys are the best! They took care of my BRZ a few months ago when the clutch went out. They were very professional and took care of me. My Wifes WRX had the clutch die on her as well after around 80k miles. Dropped it off at the shop around 10am and the car was ready for pickup at 3pm the same day. They did what they could for us to avoid having to rent a car for a few days and spared us that expense. This is THE Subaru shop to go to in Denver period

Thanks Subie Doctor for diagnosing an annoying check engine code. They diagnosed and reset an ambient air sensor in about 10 minutes. We are traveling 600 miles from home and were given the blow off at the local Denver Subaru dealer who wouldnt even take the time to plug in the car for diagnosis. Subie Doctor was kind to talk to us over the phone and tell us to come by to check it out. I would highly recommend this class act shop.

Bought a chatted downpipe from these guys, I bought it at a small discount because they didnt have the adapter mounts or bolts or brackets with the understanding it would fit fine and or mishimoto would be able to replace. It ended up needing adapters, and bolts, and sheering of studs, and mishimoto says they do not sell parts only whole kits. So for a simple L bracket, they want me to buy the entire downpipe again. So I will have to custom fabricate a bracket for much much less than a new dp.Whos fault is all this? Idk. But I give it a 4.

Went to them for a second opinion after a 1.5 year debacle with Judy lube after they emptied my transmission fluid instead of my oil and tanker my transmission. Subie Doctor was amazing - they FINALLY diagnosed what was causing my alert lights to go off every 2-3 months, spent time to listen to my long back story, made me feel heard, explained everything to me in a way I understood, and were some of the kindest mechanics I’ve ever encountered! I bought a 2007 outback from them this week. Todd and his crew were all so helpful. They made the whole car buying process easy and I felt comfortable that I was going to be treated fairly and honestly from them from the moment I walked in. The car has been GREAT so far. Even though one of my tire pressure sensors batteries died on the way home from the purchase, Todd took care of it immediately for me at no extra charge. We are VERY happy customers. I had previously liked another subaru mechanic in town, they were good too, but I am even more impressed with the Subie Doctor. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I had a disappointing experience with the Subie Doctor. I have been taking my car to their shop the last month and a half trying to get an ambient air temp sensor fixed. Had they done a thorough diagnostic on my first visit, I wouldnt have had to bring my car in 2 more times and shell out even more money to get it fixed. Plus, theyre so busy that even after I told them their initial repair didnt fix the problem, I had to wait a month to schedule the next repair. I should have just cut my losses and gone somewhere that would recognize that they did an incomplete job in the first place and make things right. Dont fall for these guys, go somewhere that will treat you and your car as a priority.

When my audio system went out which also took out my a/c and heater in my Subaru I took it to Mike Shaw dealership thinking that was the best place with not knowing what was happening to my car. That was a experience! They called me after their so called diagnostic and told me my audio system went out which took everything out, and since my car is older they no longer make this unit, come get your car! I was shocked... knowing this was going to be my last car, I now have no music, heat a/c defrost etc... I started my search for a Subaru specialist and found the subie doctor I called them and spoke with Alex, he told me he would call me back if he could get a unit, with no hope. He called back in 15 minutes and found me a unit!! I was so surprised after feeling hopeless after Mike Shaw, I got my car in and completely fixed. They did amazing! Pat/Paw

I had Christmas Tree dash and my car wouldnt stay started, roadside assistance didnt know, and Perry specifically worked on my car and had it done in less time than it took roadside assistance to even get there, and he communicated the issue to me immediately and in a way that was understandable. I am so beyond happy with the service here, I will be back.

My vehicle ran into an issue with a locking key in the ignition. I set up an appointment here and they were very helpful both in fixing that issue along with great recommendations and prices on winter tires. The service was speedy and friendly, and I appreciated their expertise on Subaru vehicles. I will definitely be back the next time my car is in need of services!

These guys are awesome (especially Joe and Janine)! I was concerned I had a small oil leak in my engine, so about a month ago I went to autonation Subaru in Golden to get my car checked out (spoiler alert...they’re full of $h!t). Since I usually get my oil changed there, so I figured they’d be straight up with me. I was told I had both head gaskets leaking and my timing cover leaking. I was quoted about $6,000 in repair costs. I wanted a second opinion and another price quote so I made an appointment at subie doc. They were kind enough to take me into the garage and show my my engine. Sure enough my head gaskets are clean as a whistle. No leak in sight. My timing cover does have a very small “seep”, they were hesitant to even call it a leak. Turns out I just need a new sensor. I felt like they were really honest with me. I’ll be taking my car here from now on instead of to those shady f*ck$ at Autonation Subaru in Golden.

I had lost my 5th Gear & Reverse in my 2006 Subaru Legacy Spec.B. I reached out to several different shops and The Subie Doctor was the only shop that responded. They were very clear and transparent with the issue[s] and kept me up to date with their interactions with my third-party warranty company. Expecting to pay a full amount OOP on my transmission rebuild, I was speechless to find my OOP cost was next to nothing. I know close to nothing about cars and they were able to explain things to me in detail without making me feel dumb. You can tell these guys are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Customer Service is top-notch. Whenever I need work on my car, Ill definitely be making the return trip.

Alert! This is a total rave review. A friend and I were driving from Laramie to Denver and as we entered Denver her low oil came on. Soobie Doctor was the closest place and we headed their way and called to be sure they would take us. This was late in the day just before closing. They checked out the car to be sure it wasn’t gushing oil, topped off the oil and we left having been charged $5.93 for the oil. They wouldn’t charge for the service or take a tip. If I lived in Denver this would be my go to place! Can’t say enough about how great they were.

Long overdue review - by far the best shop to go to in the US. They really treat your car like its one of their own, and the quality of the work shows. Initially I went in to replace my OEM struts with some coils, and the work was done same day and to the exact spec I wanted. Next I brought a blown up Evo, and instead of taking my money they referred me to a more knowledgable Evo shop. Very few shops are this transparent with this quality of work. Shout out to Todd, Valerie, and Alex for helping me out across my builds.

I tried The Subie Doctor because of the great reviews online, and they didnt disappoint. The rebuilt my entire back end and it was affordable, and they seemed thorough. When I asked them to perform a 60,000 mile inspection, the only thing they found was a dirty air filter. I feel like most places could come up with whatever to fix and charge me for. When I took my car in for an electrical fix, they found that I left a light on and killed the battery and didnt charge me since it was so simple. Thanks Subie Doc!

Recently had to have the clutch replaced on my Impreza. After a terrible experience with the dealer I decided to instead bring my car to the Subie Doctor. It was by far the best experience I have ever had with car repairs. Alex and everyone else were very helpful, explained what they were doing, and priced their repairs very fairly. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else!

This place is BEYOND amazing. I have been here multiple times and each time was better than the last. Each person here cares about you and your car. As well as your wallet. I called a few different mechanics to fix the transmission in my legacy and found that the Subie Doctor was the most affordable. Alex and his team wasted no time finding and repairing the issue with 5th gear. There’s a reason why these guys are so highly recommended, I’ll never take my subarus anywhere other than the Subie Doctor.

Couldnt have been happier with Alex and the Crew! I took my 06 Legacy GT to them after my realizing my car had 6 neutrals. They got the clutch changed in no time with a ZF Designs clutch and it shifts better than it ever did with my ACT Clutch. Really knowledgeable about anything Subarus

The guys at Subie Dr. are always great. Alex is my go to guy whenever I need any help and always has a very positive attitude. As a fellow service writer I can can say his customer service skills are top notch! Also any time Ive had to talk with one of their technicians they are very informative and always kind also! Not once have I had a bad experience with these guys.

Subie Doctor fixed a bad repair made by a different shop. Clean, modern, organized, excellent workmanship and friendly. Better work for a better price than the first place we went to. We live in Littleton but will ALWAYS be making the drive north up to Subie Doctor because they are the BEST. Hands down.
