Felix was awesome! Not only was this my first tattoo, but it was my marriage tattoo (very important). Felix was great at helping me settle on a design, showing me multiple options, and printing samples in actual scale so I could visualize them best. The whole staff even helped advise me on what to get and what to avoid (very upfront & honest, all of them). Would get me next tattoo here without a doubt!!!

Wonderful/clean shop full of nerdy things and people, which I love. Jeanine was awesome to work with and did an amazing job on a custom tat design. Will be using this shop and her as my primary artist going forward.

Jeanine did my tattoo and I love it! It is a fairly simple lettering tattoo, but her attention to detail with the line work is great! I am very happy with what I got and I will definitely be going back. It was also a great experience. Very laid back and welcoming along with great conversation.

Felix did a great job on my tattoo ! I gave him a basic reference photo and he went out of his way to suggest additions and added lots of beautiful shading which I was not expecting, but I was not disappointed . Would return again but Im from out of town .

So unprofessional. I would never recommend anyone to go here. My friend and I are from out of town and noticed most of the area did not require masks. When we walked in, we were scolded for not wearing a mask and asked kindly if they had some for us to wear. We were then talked down to for not wearing a mask and were asked to go, when we had no problem wearing the masks. We never got our tattoos and piercings because we felt very unwelcomed. Horrible horrible place.

Over charged on the tat. Decent work i guess. Kinda balled the tips of my tattoo vs letting it roll off. Maybe he was in a rush. However, loved the vibe of the shop. Quick work.. I was interested in the special they were doing.. but other than that..

Walked in to have some long awaited artwork done. Felix did a great job. He paid a lot of attention to detail. I wanted to get a matching tattoo of an existing one. Felix was able to match it up perfectly and also touched up my old piece. I’m totally happy with my new addition.

Wonderful little tattoo shop in downtown Denver. Just happens to be around the corner from where I work and I couldnt be happier that I stopped in. Staff is professional and courteous. They also take the cleanliness and safety of their patrons seriously which is a big plus. I will definitely be going back for more work from them soon.

Called very last minute and jon was very open and understanding and squeezed me right in! He listened to what I wanted and also suggested some ideas to make sure its exactly how I wanted it. Very reasonably priced and people friendly. The shop is very clean and has a good atmosphere. Very happy with this shop and jon. The picture is extremely fresh as you can tell.

This place is clean along with sterilizes things properly and the environment is cozy. The artists all seemed welcoming and nice. I got both tragus pierced by Jeanine, she made me feel comfortable and took her time. Jeanine did a fantastic job and it didnt really hurt at all she was gentle.

Foxene did an AMAZING job on my tattoo! I really love the way they turned out. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and all the supplies they used are high quality. She is an amazing artist as well, its incredible to get her art on my body. I would highly recommend this place for anyone getting a tattoo!!

The artist I had, Jeanine, is an excellent creator, taking my idea and puting it to paper, capturing the feel I wanted and being very unique. My tattoo came out even better than anticipated. Been looking for a long time before then I found fortune cookie tattoo. Was comfortable the moment I walked in. Kate found the exact tattoo and size I was looking for. I could not be happier with the work Kate did on the back of my calf. I have found my artist. Kate is amazing. I highly recommend her for any art you desire. Jon the owner is one of the nicest shop owners I have ever met. And Felix will keep you laughing helps ease the pain.I love this ship will return for all my pieces. This is my favorite shop in Denver. The artists are friendly and funny, and theres always cool music or videos playing when I go in. The prices are comparable to most shops in town. This is a reputable business with decades worth of experience between all the artists, so youll end up spending more than the 30 bucks you were dumb enough to pay your neighbor who just got out of the clink to ink you up in his living room. On the other hand, nobody at the shop has his/her own A&E show, so you wont be paying $200 an hour either. Ive had several tattoos done at Fortune Cookie, and theyve all been great quality and fair priced.

In love with this place! The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming and the artists are extremely layed back while remaining professional. My session with Jeanine, who is next level talented, was a blast. I hope anyone who’s looking to get great work done comes here! I certainly can’t wait to go back.

Had a fantastic first tattoo with Jeanine/Foxene (Traveling Fox Tattoo). She was professional, patient and gentle. We got everything done in less than an hour. The tattoo came out exactly as designed. I hope as delighted. Found the whole shop upbeat and friendly. 10/10 - would get another tattoo from her again.

Fortune Cookie has some of the nicest and coolest people working at and running the shop. Each of the artists is amazingly talented and their arts are displayed all over the walls and on the shelves. Jeanine cares deeply about her work and will do her damndest to give you a good experience and make sure you understand how to care for your new ink. I highly recommend coming down and getting your first tattoo here or simply adding to your collection.

In February my friends and I were in Denver for the weekend for a birthday. Two women in the group had never gotten tattoos before, the other two of us already had a couple. I spent about a half hour on google and yelp to find reviews of tattoo parlors that were within walking distance of our downtown hotel. Fortune Cookie had the best reviews. We showed up without appointments and they were able to get all four of us in within a couple hours. We are all VERY happy with our tattoos. We had both of the artists. A female apprentice drew 8 styles of my tattoo for me to choose from and I really appreciated that! I would go back. The prices were also fairly reasonable.

I have gotten two tattoos from these guys so far and every time has been amazing! They make you laugh while getting your tattoo and feel like your chilling with a friend. the prices are really good and they are passionate about there work! hands down one of my favorite places to get ink.

Ive been going to Jon Lew and fortune cookie for several years now and he has done most all of my work. He is quick, professional, affordable, and in high demand. I think he is one of the most versatile tattoo artists in the Denver area.The shop itself is laid back, clean, funky, artsy, everything you would want in a tattoo shop.Worth a wait, worth a deposit, and worth your time...thanks for having a great place for us collectors to go!

Came in for my first tattoo during their Friday the 13th event, and am very happy with how it went! Jeanine took great care of me and everything was handled quickly and professionally. Im already planning my next one from her based on one of the pieces she had displayed at her station. Will absolutely be back!

The person that did my tattoo was very nice. However, the tattoo itself was not of good quality. Her line work is not clean. I got a cordonate tattoo and the numbers are mismatched. The zeros are all shaped differently and the fours are all in different sizes. The alignment is off as well. Overall I am disappointed. I got this tattoo with two of my friends and theres did not come out as bad as mine did. Not sure why that happened. Her drawings are cool but I would not recommend getting tattooed by her.

Jon did a fabulous job on my tattoo. I didnt have an image to show him I just told him what I was thinking about and he drew it up. It looks amazing. Defiantly the best shop in town.

Ive had several tattoos done here and love every one of them. The shop is clean, well lit and easy to get to. All the staff are fantastic artists and friendly human beings. I love Jons work; hes fast and has a very soft touch. But Im look forward to getting work from all the artists there after seeing their work in their books and on other people. I love this place so much that sent my baby sister (who is a grown adult -but will always be my baby sister) here when she asked for a recommendation. I really cant think of enough great things to say about this shop and my experiences here. Were there an option for more stars, I would pick that.

Not only are these guys talented and sensitive to what you want, they have an incredible sense of humor. It’s not everyday you sit in a tattoo shop and sing to pretty much any Disney song, just for fun. Lol. Of all the shops I called, these guys were the most welcoming! Check them out!

I was walking around Denver and wanted a tattoo, I walked into this shop and Jon greeted me with a smile. He was able to get me in (without an appointment) within an hour. He was very efficient because he did quality work without taking more than an hour. I will definitely come back!

I had an old tattoo that looked like crap fixed. I liked the tattoo and it had meaning for me, but it looked awful. Jon took the basic figure and fixed it, making into an amazing work of art. I am so pleased with my experience; I keep showing it off to random people at the grocery store and what not. I had set my expectations pretty low because I had no idea he could make it look so good. I was just hoping it would look a little better. Everyone that sees it is amazed. Plus, the price was very reasonable. Im sure Ill have him do more.

I have been following Jay Stein for years. I have had extensive work done by him and believe that I am getting my best work ever. Jay was at a shop in Aurora that I didnt like so much. I am glad that he moved to Fortune Cookie. I really like the location and Jon, the owner, is an really nice guy. I feel very comfortable at this shop. I really like the By Appointment Only policy on Sundays. It fits right into my schedule. I think I might have to have something done by Jon next!

Jon is an amazing artist, he has so many original ideas and a lot of insight. Im extremely pleased with the work Ive gotten and I plan on getting a lot more. The shop is very clean, beautifully decorated, and I have gotten treated with nothing but respect.

I am a college student from UW-Madison. I was a walk in with less than a few minutes notice and Lew was awesome. He fit me and 2 of my friends in for small tattoos. Price was reasonable and he was very friendly and informative! Love this place, would recommend.

Had to give at least one star... don’t deserve it. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Walked in for a small tattoo and because we wouldn’t hit their $80 minimum we decided other wise. As we exited the building we were mocked and called cheap. Very rude staff and will never recommend to anyone. Not a surprise that no one was in the building.

There was a group of us that went to Denver for a Theatre Festival. A few of us went and got tattoos from Fortune. The majority got theirs done by Kate, a couple by Felix, but I had mine done by Jon, the owner. Each of them took their time getting the artwork just right, doing with they had to, to make us happy. I have had three tattoos by Jon. Seriously amazing. This dude has a gift by the gods. His shading is amazing and color work is so Great. I found him on Groupon and it was seriously the best decision ever. He is great and cares about his work. He cares about anything he does, no matter how big it is. My family is NOT crazy about tattoos. Every tattoo he has done they have been amazed by. He was down to listen to what I wanted and why I m was wanting to get it and he always fit the tattoos to hit the style that I wanted on my body to fit my body style. Seriously choose him. Great prices with an even greater tattoo. Every tattoo that I am going to get will be from him. To get five stars is super hard from me, but he deserves every one of theM. I would give this place more stars if it were a option. I flew from Atlanta to get a Tattoo from Sherly. I had been checking out her amazing artwork and tattoos online for a couple months.One of my friends has her tattoos all over him when I had asked who did them he said Sherly. She has a amazing energy very warm and kind of hard to describe but makes you feel like you have known her for many years.She listens very closely and can it seems like almost pluck the images straight from your head even when you can not articulate them. I came in with a idea and left with a work of art. I was almost giddy when I saw my finished tat. She is not the first person Ive had tattoo me but from here on out she will be the only one. I just got mine on Thursday last week and Im already planning out my next one.

Seen some great work come out of this shop for sure but i will say felix has a pretty heavy hand not good for small close line work. Theres a pretty obvious lack of symmetry in multiple spots and the areas that got heavier shading got infected almost instantly and now looks all blurry and faded like that area is 5 years older than the rest of the ink... do yourself a favor and get kate to do anything with small details, or big details

WORST TATTOO EVER, its a 7 letter word maybe an inch and a half long, and its the first tattoo that I hate. Jon said what do you expect its on your finger?. Its crooked and half of it peeled all the way off, I could have gotten something better in a prison. Dont get a tattoo just because youre in a new city and want a memento.

After i got the tattoo and i was not happy the guy told me to come back in a month and when i went back in a month i was told that he wont do anything for me... dont not go here-!!
