The best neighborhood liquor store I have ever the privilege of frequenting. They have let me taste things off the little bar cart to see what I like, they make stellar recommendations, and they are always open to hearing about what you want and what you need more of. Baker has the standbys but they also seek out weird and interesting and super-local whiskey and rum as well. Their wine selections for me have also always been top-notch.

The place is small, but they have a nicely curated selection of craft brews and liquor, and the staff was super friendly!! He offered to grab me a different 6 pack than the one I had brought to the counter, because he knew that the one I grabbed was slightly less cold! Now how is that for service?

We stopped at the Wizards Chest on the way to game night and also needed to pick up some beers. We noticed this store across the street and decided to give it a shot. As we entered the store it was small but looked nice. They person at the counter did not even look up.The selection of beer was very small for a store in Colorado. Most beers were not local but that might be interesting if you want to try something new. After making our selections we brought them up to the counter and the man sighed and said he would have to look everything up. The tone of voice and non verbal signs we got from him made us feel like we were bothering him. The prices were also higher than other stores. I’m willing to pay a higher price for unique products and good customer service. Unfortunately we only got half of that.It felt like he was mad we were there and making him work. With so many stores, no reason to support one with a bad selection and rude customer service.

I stopped in over the weekend to pick up some beer. It seemed they had a lot of local producers because I didnt recognize all of them, but I was happy to try some new sours I hadnt seen anywhere else. The guy there was friendly and recommended stuff his friend liked so that was helpful. Ill be sure to stop by again to switch up my stock and try something new every now and then.

I stopped by Baker Wines while visiting Denver and I was glad I did. The staff were super friendly and helpful in making a wine selection to bring to a friends house. Couldnt be happier to welcome Baker Wine & Spirits to the Baker Neighborhood and South Broadway. Awesome selection of wine/spirits/craft beer. This place is no bullcrap. There is also a VERY good chance that you will be offered to taste some beer/wine/liquor when you stop in after work too. Cant beat that when you are already there to pick up the days medicine. I absolutely love how they stock the quirky items like Underburg, 40oz Rose, and all the other ones that I have yet to try. Talk to them when you are there, they are good people!

Great liquor store somewhat close to the heart of downtown. They have anything from top to bottom and probably in every size you could think of.

I stopped by this wine store when I was in Denver on business. They have a great selection of specialty spirits, wine and craft beer that you dont see everywhere. And the prices are great too. One Oregon Pinot I found was $28 and my wine app said that it usually sells for $48. Huge props to the owners for carrying Bundaberg Ginger Beer!
