Dream Merchant provides a level of customer service that is almost extinct in this day and age! I purchased a sofa from the two years ago that has a chaise cushion on one side. Fast forward to 2021. I recently moved into a great new condo with a smaller living room.Its been a bit of a conundrum for me because the chaise disrupts the flow no matter which side I put it on. Due to the layout there isnt another option for placing the sofa elsewhere. I had a notion that if I could just replace the chaise cushion with a regular one that would open the space & flow up more. I called and actually got to speak with Les, the owner! I told him my dilemma and he promptly responded saying he would look up the information on my sofa and contact the company that made it & see if it was possible to get a regular replacement cushion.Within less than an hour he had followed through and my order is in!I am so impressed with his response to my unique request and problem...and his prompt attention to my request. Yes, this is indeed why Dream Merchant is still in business in Denver for fifty years! I do appreciate their commitment to customers! Thanks Les and Dream Merchant!

Working with David was a dream....no pun intended. My husband and I moved cross country and needed new bedroom furniture fast. We werent willing to buy used for a bed....and it was hard to find anything in stock. David helped us find a set that was in our budget and available. We got a set from Furniture of America...the set isnt the beeesssst quality but we certainly feel like we got a good deal considering and didnt have to wait 3 months for delivery. The delivery team was very professional and fast (seriously bought on a Sunday got it delivered next day!). I recommend you check out this local establishment for great service and a good deal.

Worked with David to find me a new couch for my apartment. He helped me get a great price on a nice couch. I chose to pick up the couch instead of have it delivered, and the gentleman at their warehouse was extremely helpful in tying the couch down in the bed of my truck. Yeah so my fiance and I recently bought a bedroom set along with the mattress and very beautiful lit up standing mirror. The bed set is very nice and the mattress is like sleeping on a cloud but aside with the awesome mirror that lights up with a touch screen button on the top our salesman Dave gave us an excellent deal and was very helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend going there for any bedroom furniture you maybe interested in buying because aside from there nice selection there customer service is above and beyond what I expected. Not at all regretting what I spent and will be going back for anymore furniture we may purchase in the near future.

Don’t bother shopping here. I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years and referred many people. I do not understand what happened with my last delivery. It took them a while longer for my items to come in which I did not find out about until I called them. Then I paid the extra to have my furniture delivered and setup. I contacted the manager at dream merchant right away to let her know that the delivery guys damaged my walls when the brought the stuff. She played the I’ll have the owners call you back card for over a week and no one ever contacted me. I’m very disappointed in not only their lack of communication but also their lack of professionalism. They just want your money and will not take responsibility for what damages are caused by their workers mind you i spent close to $4,000 on my order with them.

My husband and I spent all day going to numerous furniture stores looking for a couch. After about 6 different stores (big name and small name alike), Dream Merchant is the only place that had something that was not outrageously priced and was exactly what we were looking for. David helped us out immensely and we will be going back if we are ever in need of something else.

We have bought multiple pieces of furniture from here and we have always had a great experience! The most recent couch’s we bought are exactly what we we wanted. Different, comfy and versatile.

Took 9 months to get a bed I ordered, shipped to store. I was notified that I could pick it up after two times being rescheduled. When I arrived, I was told my item was in a different warehouse, and they were closed. I drove 35 miles to pick up my purchase, that wasnt even there, after I was told it was. Terrible customer service. Save the hassle and go to AFW or furniture row.

Staff was friendly and helpful right after coming in. My family and I felt welcomed and properly assisted.

We purchased a $500.00 chair from Dream Merchant. After we got the chair home, my wife decided that she did not want it. I immediately repackaged the chair, in perfect condition, as it had been packaged by the manufacturer. We asked to return the chair but were told there would be a 20% restocking fee! We agreed to pay the $100.00 fee because we did not want to keep the chair. A credit was processed on our credit card. To add insult to injury, Dream Merchant processed the credit to include sales tax on the restocking charge! Needless to say, a dispute has been filed with the credit card company!BE WARNED - YOU NEED TO WATCH THESE PEOPLE VERY CAREFULLY!

Very friendly staff and they know what they are selling. The show room is small so not everything they offer is there but if you have a special Mid Century Modern look in mind they can get it for you.

Updated Review:Purchased a couch from this location in April. Took longer to arrive than advertised and in the wrong fabric. Company was very wiling to work with me. Picked it up themselves and issued a refund promptly as they did not have what I wanted in stock to replace it. Still a slightly frustrating situation but Dream Merchant was quite willing to work with me to make it right. One star updated to Three for customer service after the incident.

After being tired of the poor quality that American Furniture offers i decided to give Dream Merchant a try. I was super nervous about ordering furniture from catalogs, but decided to try it. They made me feel comfortable by explaining to me that my satisfaction is their number one priority and wanted my experience to be positive. I ordered a head board which i constantly get compliments for. The headboard was affordable, well built and so pretty! Then i ordered a bedroom set which i wasn’t in love with because of the color. I talked to Charlie and Mandy and they listened to my concerns. Without hesitations i was able to order another set (that i love!!) and Les (the owner) personally took the time to speak to me and made sure i was happy with my new one. I have found my place to order unique, well built and beautiful furniture!! I will definetly be back. It was so painless free!

The dream merchant at first seems like a good deal to get a price between wholesale and retail for designer furniture. It is March 2019 and I bought a bed frame, dresser and mattress of one of their luxury brands at the end of Nov 2018, and they still have not got their sale fixed or correct. I have basically given up and will just take the losses.******BEWARE merchant takes days or weeks to respond after you pay for the furniture regarding any matter (communication great when making the sale.)******It took until mid January of 2019 to get the furniture even though it was stated Id receive the furniture in mid Dec 2019 in an email from the merchant. I accepted and said no big deal, come mid January they finally deliver the furniture but they Did not show up with the dresser. The delivery men stated it never came and I had to call the store. Even though the merchant stated prior to delivery all items would be delivered. When I called the store the staff seemed confused but came up with sorry the warehouse had a fire in January and now it will take until March to get the dresser. Whilst, it was in stock with the merchant and the vendor website stated to ship in Dec 2018. Not sure how it never got shipped in the 1.5 months it was in stock and now its in a fire.At this point I refused to wait a total 4 months to get all pieces of the furniture I ordered. Although frustrated and taking weeks to answer, the Merchant finally refunded me for the dresser. I decided at this point I will keep the remainder of the furniture and use it. Since I never had the full furniture set I never used the bed, come almost 2 weeks later and finally getting refunded for the dresser I decide to use the bed. Come to notice there was cracking already on the new luxury furniture on headboard. (Supposed to be full walnut wood) Sent pictures Feb 1st asking them to fix it and they never came up with a solution. Now come March the Merchant is saying the vendor is saying I took too long to report the cracking and that nothing will be covered. This is 1 month after I asked them to contact the vendor.Wasted almost $2000, aside from losing money they were never professional post sale and have 0 regard for customer satisfaction once they are paid. I basically will just take my losses because after 3-4 months of going back and forth it is not worth my time. I please advise everyone to stay far away from this garbage company! Not sure how a family business has been scamming people for this long.DONT WASTE YOURE MONEY LIKE I DID!

Okay and take it from me dont waste your money there go to American warehouse! Take it from me youll be very happy I dont know how this place even stays in business for real!!

Easy no pressure sales staff. Very friendly, informative, and they knew all about their products. Quality furniture at exceptional prices. Not like the big box furniture stores, they seem to really take their customer service seriously.

If you plan to finance I would STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere. We did the 90 days same as cash. We were told that it was real simple and easy. They basically had me fill out a credit application even though no credit was pulled. They had me enter my bank account information and neglected to tell me payments would be taken out on that account. They also never told me that payments would be taken out on my paydays. We left a 10% deposit and were told no payment would be due until after we took delivery. A week before delivery we were told that the deposit wasnt enough and that they needed first payment upon delivery. Now they are trying to take payments out of my bank account on a non payday even though I have emails stating the contrary. Nothing that came out of their mouths was true or explained. If you have a cash purchase then you should be fine, but DO NOT finance anything with them. I for sure will never be back and I will tell everyone I know never to go there.

I found Les and his team to be accommodating, kind and most importantly knowledgeable. I am a very particular shopper and was looking for a very particular mattress. Les and his team were patient with me and were able to meet my every request and need in helping me find the most perfect, cloud like pillowtop mattress. I absolutely love it. I cant speak to the quality of the furniture, actually. But I can say that the employees here are very friendly and accommodating. My motorcycle broke down on Leetsdale and they let me park it behind their box truck overnight, and even offered to take me to a gas station if thats what I needed. Not as a customer, just some exasperated guy in motorcycle gear walking in their front door. Ill keep them in my mind for actual furniture purchases now...

I had been putting off getting a new mattress for way too long. Its nice to go to a local store with someone to guide you through the process. I travel weekly, and, the salesman helped me find a bed just like the one in my favorite hotel chain. Prices were really amazing. Options were plentiful. Dont hesitate when you need a new mattress, just head there first.

Horrible, horrible experience. If you are looking to buy purchase, I highly advise you not to buy from Dream Merchant. I spent roughly $3k on furniture from this store and had the delivery guys show up 4 times to replace the merchandise that was damaged. The second time a desk was delivered and was completely dirty with packaging material put together in the desk and it was dirty from the warehouse hands and was visible because of the glass, dresser was damaged completely, computer chair was covered in dirt all over the cloth from the truck. The third time they showed up with a new desk around 2-3 weeks later with the owner not willing to discount the desk because his employees lack of care. This time the desk was damaged again and 2-3 weeks later they show up again and took the desk back apart and I noticed additional damaged and I called in to notify Diana the GM and she started to get smart with me and then said Ill let Les call you because its better I not talk to you.. This has been the worse experience, ever. As an owner of a digital marketing agency, I also noticed they also disabled Facebook Reviews due to the amount of negative feedback. I will be sure that everyone knows about my experience.Something needs to change with the way this company is run. Not sure how they been in business this long with so much negative feedback.Steer Clear. Spend your money elsewhere.

I moved into a larger home and bought all of my furniture here. 2 Sectionals and 3 bedrooms. I had a great experience with the salesperson. He was very helpful showing me what I was describing. They delivered it to my home and set it up. I would definitely shop here again and recommend it to others.

There are a number of negative reviews on here for Dream Merchant. I would like to share my positive experience with this store. I purchased an Atria hardwood platform bed from them. I picked it up at their warehouse, brought it home and unpacked it. The Indian Rosewood was beautiful, and I was excited that the bed was everything I was expecting, EXCEPT, there was a crack running through the hardwood planks of the headboard. I was pretty bummed, as I wondered how they might handle the issue, plus I live 3 hours from the store. I contacted Diane by email and told her of the problem. She got back to me within a day and asked me to send her a couple of pictures of the headboard. I sent her the pictures, and I told her I would be in Denver again in the following week and that perhaps I could bring the headboard back and exchange for another one. She was happy to make this exchange for me, and they made sure that the new headboard did not have any damage prior to me picking it up. I brought it home, put the bed together in about 30 minutes, and I am happy with my purchase! Yes there was a problem with the product and this was an inconvenience, but Diane made the situation right, and that is all that mattered in the end.

Couldnt be happier with my purchase from dream merchant! My sofa was in stock at their warehouse and I got it delivered the next day with no problems. My bedroom set they told me would arrive in a couple weeks in reality it only took 4 days from the time I purchased it. Well done Dream Merchant will definitely refer all my friends!!!

It is very unfortunate that I am having to write this review. I order a sleeper sectional with an ottoman from this company this past June. I was very displeased on quite few issues that are still left UNRESOLVED. I spoke with les told him my situation. He said he would contact me back. It had gone on 2 weeks. Have not heard anything back. I called again the other day. I get on a phone with a gentleman and tells me theyre to assist me (customer). Gave me his word and told me he was going to call back. Yet I still have not received a call back. I really would hate to expose the true experience. That will make new and existing customers think twice about doing any BUISNESS with this company again. I have pictures as proof. I suggest that I receive a call back asap.

Purchased a triple bunk bed here. The price was good and delivery included set up which was great. My only complaint was that I was given a delivery window originally that said they would be there sometime between 10 and 5, then that day it was narrowed to between 4-6. Then they called at 545 saying they wouldnt get there until after 7pm. When waiting for delivery people, an accurate tine window is important for customer service. The delivery team was great when they got here, fast and friendly, it seemed more like a planning issue than something that was their fault.

Last weekend we bought a bunk bed for our children. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff was very helpful. We had priced out many beds and the selection was decent and the price and quality great! Highly recommend!

We found online that this place sells a unique couch that we immediately knew we wanted... Except when we went to buy the couch, we ended up fully furnishing four rooms!Little did I know that beyond their showroom stock they can order factory direct from about a dozen of the best furniture manufacturers, all of which would likely be considerably marked-up if we had shopped for them at the big name retailers (as has typically been our practice in the past)!Since then I have returned twice more for additional purchases. And yes, in case youre wondering from this experience, they do offer zero-interest financing through Synchrony bank ;o)

If I could give this place a 0 I would, the manager is the absolute worst, so rude. First we called to confirm that the mattress was in stock, we were told that we would get a call back, never did. We decided to go back and see if it was in stock one of the employees was helpful and grabbed us the mattress, we told her we had a friend coming with a truck and if it was okay if we waited, the employee said yes, to our surprise the rude manager called my boyfriend and made him grab the mattress and and she MADE HIM PUT THE MATTRESS OUTSIDE and wait for our friend! This is absolutely absurd, we are a paying customer! Even the lady helping us told her manager to calm down after seeing the way she was speaking to my boyfriend! How this place has a manager that lacks customer service I’ll never know. She made ya feel completely uncomfortable even though we had already paid for our purchase. So disrespectful! Avoid this place at all costs, I’m sure there are many other places that will treat its customers with respect!

Very helpful sales staff. Spent plenty of time while we figured out what we wanted. Prices are pretty decent. The store itself is an older building and is a bit run down. Furniture is decent, but not top quality. This is all reflected in the prices, though. Definitely take a look, and if you dont see what you want, ask. Lots of catalogs to peruse.

This was the second time doing business with the company. The first time I bought a bed set it came with a mattress, boxspring and the metal frame and I paid a realistic price. I come in to do business with this company again and I ended up paying more and recieved worse service and after the bed was delivered without the bed frame. Thinking the company forgot to deliver it called them and was advised this will cost more money, please understand before I bought the bed neither Mandy nor any other representative from the company advised me any different. (Sure was happy to take my money) So My Father and mother are going to be sleeping on the floor after traveling from out to the country to see their grandson graduate from Cherry Creek High. They hooked me up. But overall it was good quality stuff. they have everything you need. Have 90 day finance options and set up and delivery to your house. It is VERY high in price, but the service made up for it. I also dont save money like most people

Dream Metchant is a Nightmare. Over promise, under deliver, and don’t honor warranties.No show no call on two separate promised delivery dates. Stayed home waiting and nothing. Finally delivered a month after purchase date and furniture fell apart five weeks later. Told it was not covered under warranty. Never call back as promised, blame drivers and me for issues. No customer service or a care in the world except for your money. Steer clear of this joke of a business. Les & Diane ate the worse and the sales guy (Chris?) is the one who blames all but their terrible business.

We got personalized attention from the moment we walked in the door. We brought our toddlers and they had toys to keep them entertained. Very low pressure buying situation - they actually sold us a less expensive mattress (by about $1000) because they thought it was the best and after sleeping in it for 1 month we agree (it was memory foam btw and it is unbelievable). We also bought a couch and a bed and we love both. I could not imagine a better all around furniture store with the combination of a great selection, low pressure sales, and fantastic pricing.

I love the Enrico Vanity I bought from this place, it was packed very well so even if we had a rough drive home, it wasnt damaged. I like the people who were there to give the vanity, they already know who and what you will get. The only reason I had to give 4 stars instead of 5, is because I had to go to their warehouse to pick it up. We thought it will be in the same area as the store in Havana. We chose the store bec of its proximity yet we still had to go the long way to get it.

I ordered a futon. A few weeks later they called to say that it was in. Different wood, different finish, much lower quality. Owner explained that he could not have sold the futon that we wanted at the price quoted. We demanded a refund, he criticized the salesperson in front of us and reluctantly gave us a refund. He was not nice to us, we had to demand better service.

The place is fine and the people were nice, but I did not like how they had a Craigslist ad that indicated $40 for a twin mattress. When I arrived at the store they indicated $40 was the mattress down payment for financing. The cheapest twin mattresses were actually $100. When a Craigslist ad indicates $40, I expect the item to cost $40. I told them the ad was deceiving and they were still unwilling to lower the price from $100.

Definitely a good place to look for affordable new furniture. My girlfriend and I went here; and although the showroom is small, they have a ton of catalogs and are very helpful in helping you find something that fits your home and budget.Everything in the store is a floor model, and you can get a deal on those pieces. We had four different pieces delivered across town for just $50. Im really happy with everything that we got a few months later, but I will caution the future buyer: they sell furniture with widely varying quality. Try to do a little online research before buying.Still an excellent place to get some new furniture. Very good experience, and ask for Gilbert- hes super.

Not all dreams are pleasant and this is more like a Nightmare Merchant. I would never buy from this business again, I hate to say that Id rather not buy local but when the local merchant cant provide customer service Ill spend my money elsewhere.

I really cant say enough about this business. We purchased a bedroom set for out little boy about 6 months ago and really enjoyed the whole experience. When it was time to buy a new mattress for ourselves, we never thought of going anywhere else. I knew that if we went in that Les would point out the differences between Memory foam, standard, and waterbeds. He did a fantastic job, all in a very low pressure way. We ended up buying a memory foam mattress, and I havent been so rested in years! This is our furniture company for life now. Its not a big fancy showroom, but they have a great selection, and can order about anything you would want. They have unbelievable pricing as well. I promise that you will feel the same way if you make a trip to the store.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND MERCHANDISE. Im extremely disappointed about the customer service. If you want better quality and friendlier service, I would recommend and HIGHLY suggest any other place such as La-Z boy or something, where youll actually get your moneys worth and not be LIED to by the owner and the front desk lady trying to take money from you.

We bought two bed frames here on March 28th, with the explanation that one would be delivered from California and thus would take about 10 days. The salesperson was helpful and friendly during this transaction.8 days later, we called to get an update and were informed that the manufacturer didnt actually have the king bed frame in stock and so it actually be another 10 days, so closer to 3 weeks after purchase.We called again today to be told that the manager wont be in until Saturday, which may or may not be the day that our bed frame comes in. Is there not a tracking number on the shipment? Has it actually been shipped yet?? The man on the phone (Brian?) was the most blasé, inhospitable person who offered absolutely no solutions or even suggestions. He even answered the phone dream merchant in a monotone voice, no this is (Brian?), it How can I help you?. The last time my boyfriend called and talked to him, he asked well, when do you need it?! Weve been sleeping with our mattress on the ground for three weeks now, so we need it!Apparently this store runs without an active manager and the salespeople cant make decisions, so Brian (?) is unable to help us get a refund so we can go buy bed frames at a store that actually has them in stock.To be clear, Dream Merchant has made zero effort to contact us with updates regarding our purchase and has let several of our calls go unreturned. Please dont pay for furniture they dont have on site!!

Called about an ad on Craigslist, no one called back. Went by they said they had it in the warehouse that I could see could order a king. Drove over to warehouse loved the bed. Called to order... out of stock ... Wasted a day. ...

Excellent prices! Did not like the customer service at all. I had to keep chasing the lady for more information.

In store they have a limited selection. Went in to find a couch, and wasnt to thrilled with the number of options. A sales associate mentioned this is what they have on display as some of the top selling items and they have a warehouse with much more inventory, and advised to look through one of the many catalog magazines they have. A bit disappointed in having to thumb through magazines which dont have prices, and you have to ask how much an item is. Overall this location was a bit unprofessional and didnt have many options to chose from.

Great customer service, really nice furniture at reasonable prices, delivery and setup, very professional.

They got the order wrong and it took 4 weeks instead of 10 days like they said. I have called and they said that the sales person would call back. They arent going to correct their mistake; It wasnt her fault but her co-workers who dropped the ball.I went out of my way to give a privately owned business my money and I got screwed! Dont waste your time and money on this place!!!!!!!!

Im writing this as Im STILL awaiting all the pieces from my dining room set to be delivered that was ordered 4 months ago. Also waiting to figure out what their solution to a damaged top of the dining room table. The table was put together wrong and defective as a screw was drilled too deep and was bubbling on the top of the table. Ive called countless times only to be told that LES will get back to me and never does. Ive read countless reviews that stated that once they get your money you become a nonpriority to them and Im starting to feel this way now. My review will remain as is until all issues are resolved...

Had an add on craigslist for a pillow top queen for $169. Called to confirm.Went in, they tried to sell me a crappy euro top. Told me it was a queen. Then said its the same thing. Then said they dont carry pillow tops. Asked to speak to the girl who I talked with. She was acting like she was busy on the computer.Forget her name but she had a fake hair and too much makeup.... ghetto looking.By the way. Their mattresses are all cheap besides their quality mattresses which are more expensive than other big mattress stores.

Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Denver Dream Merchant. Rather than write an endless paragraph, using all capital letters, Ill just simply say I was disappointed when dealing with the Store Manager Diane. My wife and I moved to Denver 2 months ago, and sold everything we had in Scottsdale to make our move easier. After moving up here, and only receiving portions of our furniture, yet still being charged for everything, I attempted to work with not only Diane, but also Les (owner) to see if there was anything that they could do -- I will say that they are at the mercy of the Vendor when things ship, however the complaint comes from the fact that they do not communicate to you when items should or should not be in.My recommendation is to work with Les directly if you have problems. It seems Diane does not like to give call backs to her customers, and even the delivery guys get at least at minimum one complaint per day re: her service. Hope my review helps in at least giving you an idea of what youre in for and what to expect.

It has been 3 months since they delivered a damaged couch. They seem incapable of replacing it with something undamaged, it is ridiculous the amount of hassle I have had to deal with.OH! and I just called to determine the status of my most likely damaged couch, and the employee laughed at me. INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL. (Hilarious update: they had 2 of the couches in the warehouse, both were damaged upon arrival, not their fault though, Ashley Furnitures fault)EDIT: Talked to Les, the owner. Seemed like a nice and genuine guy, said he would make it right. Based on some of the reviews here, he seems like the person to talk to to fix this, so Im keeping my fingers crossed and giving them one more chance.

Took a month to get what would be delivered in ten days. Nothing like what was described. Poor service, definately would not recommend!

Costly and wish they would have had info on craigs list add. Just waisted an hour + of our time.

Good people, great service. I will be ready to get some more furniture soon.
