Nice people who are dealing with the hard times of covid the best they can. You can see theyre struggling due to the supply chain issues. I hope they can keep things going. Stock is low.
I want to give them five stars. I really do. I grew up going to this store, but the selection is no longer what it was, and service is spotty at best. Nobody seems to have answers, nor be willing to look into things.Im really disappointed, and truly hope they decide to up their game.
Didnt carry what I was looking for. I know Hobby Lobby carried it but I hate it there. Guys Ill try Michaels but usually, not as crowded and stuffy as the other two
Stopped in today for the first time since at least 2017!I wanted to try something new, and Bradley helped me find everything I need to start an embroidery project.Im grateful for Bradleys above and beyond customer service and vast expertise on so many types of activities and materials.
Very large selection of notions and material, including flannel, which is what we were looking for on this particular day! Excellent service, especially from Liz at the cutting table! Definitely my favorite JoAnns in the Denver area!
Lots on sale! We love this place for all our crafting needs. Excellent place to window shop.
The heavier fabrics(upholstery style) VERY limited. Well stocked with flannel&printed cottons for any graphic needed. Limited help if needed.
Joann Fabric can always be counted on for an excellent selection of fabric and craft needs. It loses a star due to under-staffing.Personally, I love Joanns.
Good staff. Had what I was looking for, and had found online, in stock. Short wait to check out, and all three staff members I talked to were friendly and helpful.
Easy to find exactly what youre looking for! Helpful and friendly staff, absolutely recommend.
A decent store with all your craft needs that doesnt get political. And its open on Sunday. Its a smaller store but it carries a lot of variety. They also have good customer service and a friendly staff
Way too many things that I wanted to get... a little more pricey than michaels and hobby lobby but still have good deals and great assortment.
Quiet big store.. Lots of arts n crafts. Great price
Good lord! The place looked like someone let loose a bunch of caffeinated 4 year olds in there with no supervision!!! Completely barren in some parts of the store. No stock! Unkempt, messy aisles, and a peculiar odor through the store! Rather overpriced as well. IMHO.
Pretty disappointed in the order online to pick up in stores. They actually thought it was okay to give me two bottles of paint that had clearly been partially opened and spilled all over the bottles. Both bottles had their seals broken and it had obviously spilled prior to being given to me...as it was given to me in a clean, tied Joanns bag. My fault for not checking the bag before getting home. Wish this location was closer to me so that I can try to return it, but the staff on the phone made me feel it wasnt worth my time, and it is a paint that appears hard to find. Great reminder, check before you walk out or they will try to screw you over.
This place has fabulous fabrics I found something that would match my green chiffon dress and it enhanced it perfectly
I was just here today and it smelt like they were trying to hide a dead body or something. my friend knew something was wrong bc i turned pale and i got nauseas. we went to the other stores near it and it smelt the same but not as bad
Thank you so much Brook at the South Colorado blvd. store in Denver, Colo. for all your help and time finding the MilesMorales fabric
Pretty good selection. The staff seemed harrowed.
Great selection and nice staff just can never get my wife to leave
I only seem to go to Joanns every few months; but the staff is generally nice and willing to help. My most recent visit was to pickup some pant patches for a project I wanted to work on and velcro for a car project. On the patches, would have loved to see more choices or color and material; but their selections were good enough. Also - they dont take mobile phone payments (Google Pay/Apple Pay) so had to run to my car to grab a card; surprised they didnt upgrade to contactless payment options like most others did during the past year.
Mary Lou at the cut counter always makes my visits enjoyable, plus they generally know where to find things when I cant. The fabric rotation is good here.
Great store. So many fabrics!
Great for the former, not so much for the latter. What they have, they have in spades. Not too much of what a more than general creative person would crave. They do have wonderful employees though.
JoAnns is like Google for projects but if Google was a neat friend. As a beginner, I love their staff.Everyone at this location seemed to be having a good time which makes for a doubly nice experience.
Helpful staff lots of fabric and crafts
Did not find what I was looking for. Noticed decorations were very over priced compared to similar craft stores.
Very helpful and delightful staff.
A lot of shelves were practically empty. There was no one to ask where to find things.
Huge selection of items. Just wish it was better staffed because there was a long line to get fabric cut at the fabric counter. Also, no one walking around or available to ask for help, and the toilet in the womens restroom was stopped up.
Its a time warp. You think you are going to run in and get a cut of fabric than 3 hours later, you walk out and your eyes bleed.
Horrible customer service while getting my fabric cut. Lady was rude the whole time and purposely cut fabric at about a 2 inch slant because of my mother wearing a trump supporter mask. Employees should learn to keep their personal and professional lives completely separate. Bad customer service seems to be an ongoing trend within most of the Joanns I have visited lately. It must be a new policy since they have open back up. Not to mention all the stores seem to be neglected in the cleanliness factor aside from the counter tops and baskets. Floors, front of counters, and many other common areas are caked with dirt/dust. Yosemite store will my go to store for fabric because they havent defaulted in their customer service or cleanliness.
Fine. everything in sewing is there.
Everything you need for your crafting hobbies. The place can get a little messy what with people leaving fabrics everywhere but it had exactly what I was looking for. Plus there are discounts on a lot of products.Need fabric? This is the place. Need things for jewelry making? Again, this is the place. Need stuff for other hobbies suck as pictures, painting, or anything else? This is the place.
Decent little store. Wish they had a better selection of paint.
Its a Joanns. Its fine.
Their line was not well-organized and the cashier was rude to multiple customers who simply didnt understand where to stand.
Have exactly what I needed, in stock in plenty of prices for at least the laddt four visits
Just another fabric store … it does the job.
Arrived at Joanns for the elusive Christmas card hunt! They had some, located at an end cap Hard to find location and you would have walked right by it. Card selection was not a lot, and each card was about a $1.00 a piece. No Thanks! Liz who works there was excellent resource.. Next stop... Michaels craft store.
This store has the best assortment of fabrics.
My favorite Hobby store
The reason I gave it to Stars is because of the fact that they need about 20 more employees in that store when there were only two. The girl working back at the cutting table was awesome but overwhelmed, as well as the cashier up front and those were the only two
Kind of a janky store. One staff member was helpful. The others acted put out to help me find something for a project. It’s worth the drive to go to a different location.
This store is completely terrible. I just walked into the store at 4:59 and was kicked out because they close at 5. I Understand they were closing but I wasn’t asked politely to leave. The worker whose name was Melissa yelled and me and my young daughter and told us we had to leave. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Luckily I went to Michaels in the next block and was treated politely and found what I needed. I’ll never return to this store.
Nice selection of craft products and very helpful staff.
Pretty good selection. Well organized. Helpful staff.
Stereo type and if there are some things needed special like buying 2yrds but needing them 2 pieces the lady in back who been there 15yrs wont do it. Gives a bogus excuse, for just being plain rude
This place has so many great items at low prices.
Not sure what has happened to the ORIGINAL JoAn Fabric stores.. This one?? What can I say but, it appears that this particular location falsely prices some of their items(when you can actually find a price tag). Only to make it look like you got this super secret special deal.Example: I bought a package of Scentsicles. They are an air freshener that has a super strong fragrance that, depending on where its hung, it will make your home smell festive. These sell in many competitively priced stores for $6-8.. When this item is rung up at the register however, the cashier tells you that it rings up for $14.99 but, the customer is getting it for $6. Fake pricing at its best!!! I am pretty sure that either this company is now owned by some pretty shifty people or worse, is going out of business nationwide.
Always able to find kinda what we need. Lots of deals and online coupons.
Good selection of fabric and definitely good selection of craft supplies.Employees are taking COVID-19 seriously and disinfecting the cutting counter between customers, as well as providing social distancing markers for the various queue needs across the store.Bear in mind, current hours are shortened due to Covid-19. Hours are 11-6.
Great craft things
Great store for products (sewing) etc.
Clean and organized stopped by to get a 1/4 inch punch and it wasnt hard to find ( paper punch)
They have a good supply of art and craft supply. It always seems under staffed though and not having a customer service desk for online pickups is irritating when you have already paid and just need to pick up, which involves only a paper signature, but you have to wait behind a huge line of people who havent paid. The store is super easy to navigate though and when you can find staff they usually are nice and helpful.
Great Joann locations. Staff is always helpful. Good selection of fabric and crafting materials, including clearance sections!
Mary Lou was so helpful. I love this location.
I had an issue with an online order today and came in looking for help and was immediately greeted and had 2 associates jump on the case! Sandra, the associate who found my order, is absolutely delightful and so helpful.
Great customer service. A ton of items
I voted one star because I spent more time waiting in line to have fabric cut then I did walking the entire store. My wife started waiting in line after immediately finding what fabric she wanted and somehow I was still having to wait in line with her after walking aimlessly around
Great place for fabric, sewing, and crafts. If you go here frequently, the app is handy for the always-available coupons.
This location looked like they were going out of business most items were missing from the shelves.
Mary Lou helpful, out of stock on a basic item.
Store is offering curbside pick up. Masks are enforced in lieu of the state wide mandate. Handicap parking available. Had a small issue and their customer service handled it to my satisfaction.
I drove 30 mins to this location because Google Facebook and joannes app all said open until 7pm I arrived at 6:01pm and the doors are locked. This is extremely fustrating. 3 different sites all saying 7pm I also noticed on Google that this stores hours were updated 23 hours ago so what the heck Im so upset!!!!!!!#!#
My wife lost her mother to covid last week so we went to Joanns to pick up yarn to make something in her memory and generally take her mind off of things. Melissa, who we later learned is the manager was THE RUDEST person weve come across. We stood by while she refused to help her employees when they asked for help. Literally heard her say no and walk away when they asked her to help a customer when the three other employees at the store had a line each of 5-8 people each. Literally looked at us and walked away when we asked a question. I understand that she didnt know what we were going through and why we were there but the lack of customer service and complete lack of courtesy was unbelievable. Needless to say we will happily go to another vendor out of our way next time simply to avoid this place.
Since Covid started this place has been nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered several orders on Saturday and four days later no response back from them about my order that’s on the Colorado Boulevard store. They do not answer the phone even during the hours of 2 to 6 PM when they’re open. Highly recommend do not order from the store for curbside pick up
I brought two prints in to be framed. The lady who assisted me at drop off was kind and let me know they didn’t have a regular framer but a trainee and a framer from another store would be in the following week and would call me. We spent 20 minutes making notes on what I needed done. I didn’t hear from anyone for a week and a half so, I called and was told to just pick them up. No one followed up with me as they should have. Go to Michaels for framing. John the framer at Michaels is fantastic at his job.
Great fabric selection, limited other selection. But this does make sense given other stores very closeby
Maybe I came in on an off day for yarn, but there wasnt a great selection.
The did a great job finding my order. I had curbside pickup. I really liked that they sanitized the carts before use.
The cashier was so nice and gave me a coupon to use and we also got free things with our purchase :)
Because of the current circumstances we had to wait outside for online pick up. I only waited 10 minutes to pick up my online order. It really bugs me that 2 other customers around me were complaining nonstop about having to wait!!! Be patient! We are all doing the best we can right now. And I thought the employees were doing a really great job assisting their customers. I will definitely be coming back here!
Dirty....terrible selection....everything in disarray. Chaotic.
This place always changes its hours and closes early. This has happened 5 times within the last 4 months. Waist of my time and money. Not happy 😕 .
Ordered online curbside pickup. 3 days later I got an email that my order was ready. It was only 2 spools of thread by the way and it took that long. But ok, theyre busy. So they finally send me an email go pick up my order. I get there and the store is closed. Got the email at 11, drove there at 12:30. They dont open until 2. Could they have put that in the ready for immediate pickup email? When you finally get there, its awful. Rude people and endless wait time.
This place is awesome! There are so many fabrics and other craft supplies! They even have fabrics like Girl Scout cookies! The service is always good and people are nice! If you like to craft, sew and decorate then I recommend JOANNs!
All the employees are always very polite and helpful here. They also have one of the best selection of all types of craft items.
Friendly service and great selection
They didnt have the large foam slabs we were looking for. Home Depot had five for 10 bucks. But I found everything else I needed.
Good price and got 3 free items from their last chance section!
This place is a disaster! They shouldn’t even be open right now! What’s the point of opening for four hours? Their employees are obviously overwhelmed. They wrote down all my fabric numbers wrong, so after spending two hours in the store, I had to wait for the cashier to track down the fabric girl. They won’t honor online coupons even though their online ordering isn’t working. I was there for over two hours! Waited in three lines! The elderly woman in front of me had to wait in line outside because they gave her the wrong pick up order! Stop worrying about profits and realize your employees cannot handle this!
Very good for find the best crafts items, and every product is very pretty
What would I do if Joann’s closed. I can’t think like that it’s crazy talk. Staff is so nice and they know what they are doing. The store is always clean and the sale are great. They let you use coupons from hobby lobby and michaels too !
Joanns is one of my favorite craft store brands, mainly because it has a wide variety of supplies, from sewing and knitting to woodworking and stamps. I love the fact that you can walk into a place where a lot of other people are supportive and creative, and they do their own projects. Despite the prices being a bit high, I still enjoy shopping there every time.
Curb side service is pretty decent.
Nice place nice people
Love this place! I can always find something new and fun to craft with. Ive just gotten into making cards and was able to find all kinds of fun paper, embellishments, stamps & dies. Im also a quilter and love the selection of fabrics, threads and tools. They also have many other items. Jewelry making, yarn, art supplies, frames, you name it. Worth the trip!
They had everything I needed there
Always the products I need at a price I can afford!
I love Joann. I can always find what I need. If Im in a hurry, I can buy online and pickup in the store. Sometimes the lines are a little long, but they move quickly. Something is always on sale.
This place was a huge mess! Fabric all over the floor, disorganized on the shelves, and the bathrooms were disgusting! Worst JoAnn Ive ever been to.
We tried placing an order online for pickup during this difficult time, so we understand how things are a problem. We wanted fabric and thread to make masks. But they delayed our order many days and then just cancelled our order. This may be a corporate issue or a local issue. Either way, we were trying to order supplies to make masks and they just canceled our order. They advertise that they are helping the effort, but that is the opposite of helping. Please address issues to your ordering/pickup system.
Large selection. Need longer fabrics.
I’m practically here at this location every weekend picking up supplies for projects or fabric for clients I’m working with. The staff can be hit or miss sometimes but being a repeat customer I will say it’s mostly the newer employees that are the problem. The ladies at the cutting table are great though and very helpful when ever I have any questions. Only negative at this location is that it doesn’t have everything. I’ve recently started making candles but they don’t have a candle making sections like other of their locations do. Wish they did so I wouldn’t have to go to two different locations to get what I need.
A rating of 2 stars is generous but the truth is, it’s easier to make one stop here for several craft supplies than to make multiple stops allover Denver. That said, I do everything I can to avoid this store because it’s messy, the employees don’t want to help, and rarely do they know where specific items are located in the store. Today I wasn’t even able to make my $60 purchase because the employee didn’t know how to key in my credit card or how to override the chip requirement so I could swipe my card (my chip has not malfunctioned before). As usual, I left the store in a bad mood, which IMHO is counterintuitive to crafting. Someone, PLEASE open an alternative to Joann!
