After reading mixed reviews about this auto parts store, I was disappointed with the service I received when ordering my engine. First of all, when placing the order over the phone, I was promised that my engine would be absolutely delivered in 3 days by none other then the amazing Roger. On day three, I called to ask about the engine and was told they didnt even have a tracking number and had no idea when it would be delivered. I called back later that day to see if they had gotten tracking on it yet without success. I called every day for a FULL week (that is not an exaggeration, I checked my calendar) asking the status of my engine. Every time, I was either hung up on, put on indefinite hold or given no choice but to leave a voicemail for Roger. On one call when I miraculously made it through to Roger, he told me a few days was not a bad delay, that other customers were waiting going on two weeks for auto parts. I mean, I dont work in customer service or have business experience but telling someone who bought something from you that its ok, my other customers are waiting much longer then you as if that is an excuse for the delay is NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS! So after all this headache, I asked for a refund. I was not willing to wait and was just plain fed up. When I called asking for a refund, suddenly, the phone system was healed and my calls were going through and I was getting calls backs the same day, sometimes within the hour to answer questions. How funny that wasnt the case when my engine was missing. I digress, upon agreeing to refund my money, Roger made a point to say they would still be taking some kind of delivery fee because the part was coming from another state even though they had no tracking on it. I refused to pay the delivery charge, stating per our initial agreement, Roger said he had the part on hand and made no mention that it would have to be delivered from a different state. I agreed on the promise that my engine would be coming directly from Central Auto Parts and not a third party who knows where. I was given the run around and told he would speak to his manager about waiving the delivery charge. Upon calling again to see if they processed the refund, I was told, yes, I would be receiving a full refund by none other then Roger. After checking my credit card today, I see that I was not given a full refund but $350 was not refunded which leads me to believe they did keep the delivery fee even though I refused to pay it. Overall one of the worst customer service experience in all my dealings and definitely deters me from wanting to buy from them again.

First time I called and order my parts everything went great. When it came to picking them up the experience got much worse. Spent $250 over the phone and was told my parts would be there withing 3-5 days. Called on day 4 for a status on if my parts had arrived yet. Got hung up on twice in a row. Called on day 5 and got hung up on again a few times. Finally got through to someone and was told he would go check and see if my parts had arrived. Two hours later, no response. Called back and was told he was still looking, which was clearly not the case considering he answered my phone call. Three more hours later finally got a call back saying my parts were there. Showed up and picked them up no problem. Just displeased with the customer service side of things.

Was told by another junkyard to come here to find my rim. I show up and they got 2 phones numbers to call. One leaves you on hold forever, the other, has 15 or so extensions. Only one extension worked and the guy was very rude. Told me it would take a day and a half to take a tire off a car. How? You had 4 employees just standing around the gate chainsmoking. By myself, it would take me like 5 min tops. Why a day in a half? What are yall smoking over there?

Central Auto Parts is a great place to get used auto parts. They are very helpful and will work with you on pricing if the part is not in the condition they tell you over the phone.

I highly recommend Central Auto Parts. They ensure you that they provide a great experience. And also they do a wonderful job/service at reasonable prices.

Called on a purchased part, and the guy who answered was huff and puffy either having a bad day or Just needs to go out back and become a parts puller.Website claims kind and courteous customer service.Not what I got.

Thats it. This is the 3rd bad experience Ive had with this company. The first time was when I purchased an engine from them a couple months ago. I had issues with the representative and after bringing it to their attention, I was ignored and still helped pay his commission. Now, after being on hold for 10 min, hung up on and sent to voicemail, Ill never recommend or buy any engines or anything from this company again. They truly act like you need them more than they need you.

I am not a mechanic. The service provided to me from Jeff Silver at Central Auto was top notch. I needed a transmission for my 2014 Audi S4, he found one, shipped it to the shop that planned to do the work and even picked up the core for me for credit. Never would I have thought this could of been so easy! I highly recommend them!

They had an insurance grade hood listed on car-part.com. I drove down there from Vail, 100 miles. When I got there the office was closed and there was a note on the door indicatong to call them to get the parts. When I called, I was told by Tony that I couldnt look at the part and would have to come back in the next day or so to pick it up; there was no way I could pick it up that day.. I paid for it but when I told my customer they would have to drive 200 miles from Aspen to pick up the part not knowing what condition it would be in, they balked. I called and asked for a refund but Tony said there now would be a restocking fee of 35% because they had pulled the part (Thats interesting because he told me earlier that they couldnt get to it until the next day) This place has gone down the tubes since thei early days. I own a shop that has been in business 40 years. These guys always over promise and under perform. When a part I ordered wasnt delivered on the SECOND day after I ordered it, they promised it was on the delivery truck and I would receive it by the end of the day. It is now3 days since I ordered a part that they had on the shelf, and it hasnt been delivered. Calling them is worthless, they put you on terminal hold. As the result of their worthless customer service, a $2,000 job has been held up. We will never use these jerks again...

This place is amazing I live in Utah and was able to get a part sent out to me not something I think a do often but they went over and beyond to help! It was at a great price! It’s amazing how great service can be forgotten about til you get great services and customer service!So much appreciation for this place!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY MECHANICAL PARTS FROM CENTRAL AUTO PARTS OR ANY PARTS YARD WHO VENDORS FOR TEAM PRP.I’m the service manager at a relatively big car dealership in Colorado Springs and have been burned by these guys several times. Most recently on a 2012 Dodge Journey transmission that doesn’t work at all. Their warranty is a complete joke and they do not hold their end whatsoever. They are now rejecting my calls and have no intentions of helping. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TEAM PRP OR CENTRAL AUTO PARTS!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!!!!

Super fast service

I considered ordering parts from this company, but its impossible to get someone on the phone. Id get directed through their normal call waiting process, then they seemingly put their order customer service line directly to voicemail of Brian who sounds like he doesnt care if he hears from you or not judging by his voicemail message. Id be terrified if I had ordered from them without actually contacting them first.Edit 2 to 1 star: Found what I was looking for for literally half the price shipped to my door than whats being asked for from this company.

All I can say is that Roger made a really bad situation as good as it could be. I have a highly modified 67 Mustang and he was able to get me what I needed to get back up and running on my first trip. Really friendly and helpful guy to work with . . . Thanks Roger

What a crumby experience, I have now gone down there 4 times for the incorrect part. You think I would learn, but maybe not. They used to be the best. The past few years have been terrible. I even order stuff for the shop I work at and it isnt any better. Bad parts, wrong parts, damaged beyond repair parts, and when you talk to them about it you get aggressive behavior and little to no care at all. Like they do you a favor by working with you. When you ask to bring your frustrations to a manager they say there isnt one (or at least thats what Roger and Brian have said) that they take care of issues themselves. That explained a lot, the patients are running the asylum. And doing a terrible job. I hope they can get back to what they were, for there sake, because if it keeps up this way they wont be doing much more for much longer I would think. Just very poor overall.

Worst Customer Service Ever! People here do care for you as a customer, even if your loyal and been coming here for years! All they care about is the Commission they are making! I was given a deal since I was buying to transmissions on my company account and when it came time to pay the transferred my to someone else at which point they then told me that it wasn’t their deal and they have to transfer me to the original sales guy Luis which hadn’t sold me anything and had only answered a question I had asked, and he wouldn’t acknowledge any pricing given to me by Tony the other sales representative! After being transferred back and forth between the two, since no one wanted to hear what I say, eventually Luis told me he didn’t have time for me, my company or our business and that he had better things to do! I will never call hear again for parts for me or my company! I’ve been with you guys since 2016 and the way you guys handled things today is every unacceptable!

They do have the parts that i need but they are not reliable when it comes with the time. I always have to wait a day after I was told the part would be ready. And if i come pick it up at the time they tell me is ready it NEVER IS. I value my time and my customers. But central Auto Parts does not. Please just be honest with your time!! I cant get that back!!

Not reliable! Dishonest! On 09/26/2019 I went to this place to buy an after market stereo that I saw in one of their pickup trucks. They confirmed the radio was in stock so I proceeded to pay in full. Then they told me to return next day after 11am. I went next day after driving all the way from Boulder. Well.. On arrival they told me Ops! the radio was missing. The stereo was secured as shown in the recent photos of the car. It is clear that someone (staff) saw the high value of this stereo and decided to keep it instead of selling it for a much lower price to me (I am surprised that they thought that I will believed their lie). They had my phone number but didnt even call me before I took the long drive from Boulder. Again, dishonest and completely unreliable!

They had exactly what I needed, quick shipping and Roger was the best to work with! I’ll be calling again soon.

Bad business. I had an extremely rude and unprofessional experience. I called in for some Parts, the rep Tony sold me the parts over the phone at 10am, he told me the parts would be ready at 4pm, at 4pm called and rep Tony told me I havent paid, I told him I have paid and hung up the phone, I called back immediately and the Rep Tony said started saying he cant do business, that is been too much for him that he is going to refund me, after he initially said I havent paid, thats very rude after the time wasted and drive time to the location.

We always get good deals on engines and transmissions from these guys. The sales staff takes care of us!

I was in an accident recently and needed a few parts to get my vehicle back on the road. My brother has been going to Central Foreign Auto for years and recommended I start my search there. In no time the courteous and knowledgeable staff located the parts I needed and delivered them to me in a timely fashion. I called around to shop pricing and their prices were very competitive. In addition the warranty policy is fair and flexible so I would highly recommend Central Foreign Auto for all you auto parts needs big or small.

Ive gotten parts from them on three separate occasions. Its always been on point, customer service has always been great and they are always friendly.If there is a hickup, they are quick in calling and making sure everything works out smooth.

I am honestly amazed at the lack of customer service at this place has. I went in there this morning at 11 a.m. because I needed leaf springs. They told me that they had them there, they would have to pull them and they wouldnt be ready until about 4 in the afternoon. I come back at 4 30, and come to find out they only have one! Not only did I waste my day by waiting around, I now have to wait for my money to be returned to my account. This place will never receive my business again, nor will I refer them any.

Absolutely the best salvage yard in Denver! I called over 30 places looking for a hazard switch for my Audi and Central Foreign was the only place that had one, and at over half the price that the dealership wanted to charge me. As soon as walked through the doors I was given excellent customer service and the guys on the yard were very friendly and helpful. My part even came with a 3 month money back guarantee! Tell me another used parts dealer that will do that! I will definitely refer family and friends here. Thanks guys.

Best Yard in Denver...Warranty everything. Dont bicker about refunds. They do require a deposit before pulling parts, but Id rather pay over the phone then go down the next day there and have to sit around for hours waiting like other junkyards.

Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever encountered! I called and asked about a certain part. Tony told me that his guys will have to pull it off of a car. I told him to make sure his guys dont cut the hoses to close to the compressor pump because there is no real fix for that. He said, OK. Guess what? When he sent me photos of the part all of the hoses were cut real short rendering the pump useless without a new hose kit. I told him that a new hose kit is $42 and next day shipping is another $31. He told me that he would not discount the pump because his guys cutting them wrong is not HIS fault! What a POS! And to top it all off his arrogant personality has no place in customer service! Well, that was my first and LAST time I will ever try to spend my money with Central Auto Parts.Plus, I will go out of my way to let EVERYONE know how unprofessional these people operate!

In fact, after they pulled the parts I needed and discovered a blemish, I was refunded half my money even though the part works just fine. I will always check here first whenever I need a part.

I was looking for an engine for my Honda CR-V. I contacted Central Auto Parts and had absolutely no problems getting what I needed. My sales person was friendly and knowledgeable. They even delivered the engine to the shop that I was having my car serviced at. It was the right part at the right price.
