Unfortunately the cars engine started making a knocking noise 5 days after purchase. I took it to the McDonald’s Hyundai dealership to be serviced and the engine had to be completely replaced. I have yet to get the car back due to the amount of work it still needed. Had to pay out of pocket an extra $2500 for a rental while the car gets serviced and an extra $1700 for all the parts that had to be replaced.The car looked good at first impressions but feels like I got scammed out of over $7000 for the car total price spent so far has been $11,000 for a car I only got to drive for 5 days. If I would’ve known it had this many issues I would have got a different car. The wheel tread is way below the safety limit and everything. Ive gotten beaters for $1,000 that we’re more reliable then the car I got here. When contacting the car time dealer ship to work something out I was told consistently that the car is sold as is and that they would try to help in some way. I have yet to get a call back from them after I called them with the costs I have incurred. To get at least some type of reimbursement. I haven’t even been able to drive the car after the first 5 days. Great people unfortunate outcome.. wish the people who work there the best, but I can’t eagerly recommend this company with the experience I’ve had with the car, which was my first ever car purchase. Learned a lot. Will do much more research next time.Try to purchase the cars with dealer warranty to keep yourself protected.Update: Gave them a third call, was met with unprofessional staff that referenced my honest review unwilling to listen.The Hyundai dealership which serviced our car found damage to a compressor most likely from a front end collision. Quote for the repair is close to $1,000No collisions was reported on the carfax and car was sold as is being told it was in good condition and under “warranty” with Hyundai for a recall. It was not under warranty but Hyundai made an exception.We have done over $1600 in maintenance since we got the car not including the extra cost for the compressor.The staff member even had the nerve to say he helped us out by getting us an additional 60 days tempt tag. When the only reason we needed it was because their paperwork was wrong.I’m not one to get legal involved but this is a corrupt operation and must be stopped will be filing a complaint with the attorney general as well as contact my lawyer. To seek out compensation for the extra costs or at least the value of the car lost from the hidden damage.

Honestly buying the car was a very smooth process but they told me that everything was in great shape I brought the car home and two weeks later my brakes and rotors are so shot its grinding every time I drive now.. no wonder they dont have warranties with their business, I have attempted to call them every single day within business hours multiple times a day for questions and not only have they declined many calls they have answered very few and said they were very busy and could not take a call currently then asked if they could call back, still have not gotten a call back. Very disappointed with this experience.

Was ok when I purchased but not even a a year later I’ve had the car maybe 5 months and the gear shift went out as well as Rotors and brakes. Just know you will spend $14,000 to do maintenance like you just bought a $7,000 car. However customer service was good I would have liked my car to atleast have lasted a year with no maintenance except oil change needed! Not worth the money at all.pretty sure I should be able to drive the car! Wont even shift gears what so ever. Don’t waist your money

I’ll start with the good stuff! My husband & I purchased a car from Car Time, and the process was very quick and easy, without any hassle. All the staff was so friendly, and the office was very clean. They even lowered the price for us a bit to fit our budget constraints, which was very much appreciated!For only 5 days, we drove the car only a few times, between work & home.After having the bad experience that I’m about to detail, I dug deeper into the reviews, and noticed several bad reviews stating that after mere days or weeks from purchasing the car, several expensive mechanic issues (like brakes & rotors going out) popped up, often warranting the car undrivable. The responses from the owner are unbelievable, stating that “normal wear & tear isn’t covered by dealerships” and that “clearly the problem wasn’t there during purchase”, etc. I’d laugh if I get response like that, as there is literally no physical way for us to have caused this amount of mechanical damage within the 5 days we drove the car to work and back. I encourage everyone to check out their BBB ratings!During purchase, Car Time informed us there was a recall on the engine, and gave us the impression that all we’d have to do is turn in the car for a bit, get the engine fixed, & we’d be good to go.FIVE DAYS after the purchase of the vehicle, the engine completely died on us. We took the car in to Hyundai, where they checked everything out. Turns out, the car was outside the warranty period for the engine, so Hyundai wasn’t supposed to help us all! Luckily, they made an exception for us, and gave us a new engine for free.During the service, they checked out all the mechanics of the car, & found sooo many issues, including the following:- tire tread was 2/32”, which is BARELY LEGAL, they were so bald they could’ve popped at any time (New tires are sold at 11/32”). Had to buy new ones- front brake pads were at 10% functionality, and could’ve gone out on us at any point as we were driving! Had to get those replaced- radiator cooling fan & fuse were shot, causing the engine to over heat and AC to stop functioning while idle. Both had to be replaced- battery was leaking acid all over other components, had to be replaced- cabin air filters were FILTHY, had to be replaced- transmission was way past due for a flush- brake light was out, had to be replaced- Condenser for AC is bent- windshield wipers hardly effective, had to be replacedAgain, these are issues that would be impossible to be caused by “wear and tear” from 5 days of driving the car to work and home, even by the most reckless of drivers!We paid over $3000 to get all these issues and more fixed. To add insult to injury, they sold the car to us with less than 1/4 tank of gas! Selling a car with a full tank of gas is BARE MINIMUM of industry practice for dealerships.We called Car Time, who reminded us time and time again that the car was sold “as is, no warranty”. Really nice to have that sort of system set up when you’re selling cars with a long list of mechanical issues!Advice to buyers:- Bring a mechanic with you to check out the car, or better yet take the car to a mechanic to get fully checked out BEFORE your purchase-Do very extensive research on the car you want to buy, and the dealership you want to purchase from- DO NOT EVER purchase a car “as is, no warranty”. The car can literally completely die 5 minutes after driving off the lot, and the dealership may do nothing to help you, as they’re not contractually obligated to.Advice to Car Time:- Make sure cars with recalls are still within the warranty time period before selling it to a buyer- Hire a mechanic, or take the cars to mechanic shops fix any mechanical problems, and make sure all maintenance is up to date.- If you do already have a mechanic, fire them! because they clearly aren’t doing their job properly.- Stop selling cars without warranty. That’s a very scammy business practice, selling cars that may break days after purchase, just to tell the customer that it’s completely on them.

Just like the other reviews say, there is no pressure, and you can walk around and checkout the inventory without someone looking over your shoulders. Clean lot, and I love the no hassle approach; was very relaxing to inspect, and drive, the truck I was interested in. Initially there was some confusion regarding the posted price, but I ended up purchasing the truck anyway (8/1/20). After my purchase, I worked directly with Iman to clear up the price confusion, and he reacted immediately with integrity, and made the entire situation right. Bottom line, its a unique buying experience, and if possible, I will work with Iman for a vehicle purchase in the future. Recommend.

I decided to go with car time after researching car gurus for my perfect car and the reviews on google made me feel comfortable going there. Upon arriving, Iman was the first person we encountered and he made our car buying experience so easy and quick(about 2-3 hours in and out) even with average credit I left with the car I wanted and couldnt be happier with my choice on going to car time. To add that extra peace of mind when buying an older jeep(2007) I took it to my mechanic to check for any problems and was leaving there even happier knowing there wasnt anything major going on I may have overlooked. We understand that in Colorado vehicles are sold as is with no warranty. Car time does offer extended warranties on all vehicles sold. I do recommend the warranty.

My friend and I went to purchase a 2013 Honda Pilot. Everything went smoothly except the front windshield was cracked. They gave us money to replace the windshield but had to drive across Denver and wait for repair. The navigation system wasn’t working so had to take it to a Honda dealer and that is when the truth came out. They advised that the bearings were shot and they could not legally allow the vehicle to be driven without being repaired. After a few thousand dollars out of pocket the vehicle could be driven. Beware as apparently they don’t check their vehicles and then sell vehicles that shouldn’t be sold! You have been warned about this dealer so don’t buy from them!

Iman made the process of buying a small used SUV very easy and transparent. He laid out all the taxes and fees to make sure that I would be out the door at a price that was within my budget.

The reason you dont see any bad reviews is he edits them out Iman is as dishonest as a person came be !!!! I left a bad review a month ago and looked today it has been deleted. He sold me a car he knew needed work and he had cleared the trouble codes to sell it before they came back on . I drove the car for 2 hours totaling 35 miles and the check engine light came on I tried to just return it the next day he told me he wasnt going to take it back and get stuck with a big repair bill my thought on that was how did he know it would be a large bill unless he knew about the problem had it checked out and then cleared the codes hoping to sell it before they came back on !!!Im 60 years old and disabled so buying a car while living on a fixed income was a stretch and he knew it now the car needs in excess of 2000 dollars worth of work to be drive able. Do not trust him stay away and let God take care of this guy !!!

Weve been searching for a used Ford Edge for several months...auto trader, car gurus, car max, craigslist, dealers, you name it. Ever time we found a car we were interested in it sold right out from under us. We ran across a Ford Edge listing on craigslist and the car looked hot. The car was at Car Time and at first I was a little leery of using a small dealer but after contacting them I felt comfortable from a simple phone call. Iman held the car for us until we could get my 16 year old daughter down to have a look and test drive. The car was exactly as described but had a couple small issues which I brought up to Iman. Bought a used 2010 VW CC, their had clean lot and office. Mo and his son are very professional. I looked at the car on the lot and took it for a drive. The battery needed jumped but Mo and his son also bought a brand new battery and gave me the warranty work for it. The next day a sensor came on and Mo and said, don’t worry about it just bring it back in and we will fix it. I had my private mechanic look at it and his scanner showed a faulty turbo boost sensor. I drop it off and they gave me a loaner car. At the end of the day they called and told me mar car was fixed and said it was a turbo boost sensor that they had to replace. Wow these guys are very honest and work for you. Mo told me if I have any other problems with the car just let them know. I highly recommended these guys and their business.

This was my 1st time buying a car, and Iman made it super easy & stress free. I went and looked at 2 vehicles on the lot and test drove both. I fell in love with one of them, he ran my info and got me approved asap but I had my doubts since it was my 1st time buying. I left without the car and went looked at 4 other vehicles at 3 different other lots, all the while Iman kept in contact with me giving me different options that would work with what I was looking for & in my price range, etc. I passed on all those other vehicles up because those dealers couldnt give me the deal that Iman got for me. I called Iman on New Years Day because he had a car I really liked, and he got back to me the next morning with a prequalified offer for an interest rate less than half of what I was being offered at a nearby dealership. Unlike other auto dealers who seem to care only about sales, Car Time tries to get you the best interest rate possible by financing through credit unions. When other dealers gave me the excuse of youre a first time buyer, of course you will pay high interest, he got to work on finding the interest rate that fit my credit score so my payments could fit my budget. Iman seems to handle the whole operation himself, and takes great pride in his work, as he should! He uses the whole buddy buddy language typical of used car salesmen, but actually seems genuine rather than phony. Overall a terrific experience that I would recommend, especially if youre a young first time buyer like myself who wants a good deal on a used car to start their car buying career.

After reading all the reviews left for Car time I decided to write one of my own. I came in to test drive a vehicle on a Saturday, I did not end up buying a vehicle that day. However i was so impressed with the service and welcome that i recieved at car time. 1st off I was so impressed with the way their office was set up, so clean and acutally smelled peleasent :) Not like the rest of the used car dealerships ive been to. I also appreciated the lack of pressure from the sales person. They answered all my questions and let me make my own decision. I did not end up buying the vehicle because Im still trying to decide between an SUV and a sedan. They dont play the games like other dealerships do. You know The hours of sitting and waiting to see if we can come to a deal. If they make a little bit of a profit they will sell the car. I was very impressed.

I recently bought a car from Iman Nekouie. The car I found on their website wasn’t available when I went to the lot, so I purchased a different car that seemed promising. I drove it directly home. The next day, I noticed a grinding noise whenever I turned left and immediately called Iman to explain the problem. He invited me to bring the car back to the lot so his on-site mechanic could take a look and fix the problem, at no charge.I returned the car and Iman kept it for three days. I felt too nervous to contact Iman myself, so I asked my dad to call him for an update on the car’s repair. Iman reported that he was no closer to figuring out the problem. Furthermore, he said that the guy working on the vehicle was not a mechanic at all – in direct contradiction to his conversation with me and the information on his own website – and that it would be best if I took the car somewhere else. It wasn’t a pleasant conversation.I went to pick up the car. Iman drove it once around the parking lot, then lifted the hood, before handing it over to me. When I took it to the mechanic, they immediately noticed fluid leaking beneath the car and sprayed on the underside of the hood. Additionally, the power steering no longer worked. It was difficult, and unsafe, for me to drive. The certified mechanic found that Iman’s employee routed a hose through the fan belt, which severed the hose and caused the fluid leak. The tire rod was also damaged.The grinding noise that prompted me to return the car to Iman was simply a misaligned axle. It would have cost me $88 to have it repaired by a certified mechanic. The damage done to the car while in Iman’s possession cost $1,680 to repair. If Iman did not have a mechanic on staff, as he claimed in conversation and online, then he should never have promised to repair the car. What could have been a simple fix became a week-long headache that put me back $1,680. The mechanic was so appalled that he recommended I take legal action.To make matters worse, Iman ignores any contact from me and my dad. He fails to return phone calls or to address the issue at all. Iman has clearly taken advantage of a young undergraduate who only needed a vehicle to come home for the holidays. I find it hard to believe that I’m the only person who had a bad experience with him.Be wary in your dealings with Iman Nekouie.
