I would just like to start this post by saying I will never take my car anywhere else in Denver. I had a decent size scratch on the left passenger door from someone in my building side swiping me in my apartment parking garage. I took my car to one place that quoted me $2,000, which was absurd and I wanted another opinion. This place came recommended from a friend, and I’m so thankful I gave Gerber Collision and Glass a call. The level of professionalism from the first phone call and through my whole experience with them is unmatched. Chris B., was so helpful and kind through email conversations, and was able to fit me in with an appointment right away. Once I arrived Chris looked at my car and told me to give him 30 minutes. I can not tell you how amazing my car looked. It was as if the scratch was never there! If you want excellent quality work, a high level of professional, and a legitimate business that respects your time and money. Go here, don’t go anywhere else!!
I would like to thank Darren, Chris and Ethan for their help today. I took my car in for an estimate on minor body repair and they took care of my minor repair on the spot and saved me $800.00 and potentially an increase in my insurance premiums. I have no relationship with this shop prior to repairs completed last week. I met the shop manager Darren after being referred to Gerber by my insurance company. Moderate damage sustained to left rear quarter panel/bumper/paint on my 20 year old SUV. At every step of process Darren kept me informed as to timelines which were always accurate. Vehicle came out perfect and you cant even tell it was ever damaged. He runs a tight ship there and the staff with him are all performers who are good at what they do. Excellent service and repairs with a great paint match. Would take my vehicle here again for sure.

I was referred to Gerber Collision by my insurance company. From start to finish, this shop put my mind at ease and gave me all the information that was necessary in a stressful situation. My car was stolen, and later found, and my insurance company listed many options of repair shops that I could select to do the repairs. I picked Gerber and I couldnt be happier that I did so. My car was pretty trashed and they fixed everything up to as good as new. They were pretty prompt and accurate with estimates of how long everything would take to fix. Darren was in charge and he was great and communicative the entire time. I would def recommend Gerber Collision if you have an issue with your vehicle.
Darren and his body techs did amazing work! Darrens communication was friendly and reliable. He got me in the day my fleet company called around when other shops couldnt get me in. He beat his timeline estimates. $9k in damages and my company car looks brand new. He walked me through how to tell that they werent cramming in cheap aftermarket parts or taking shortcuts. I work in the auto industry and have seen so much go wrong and I was really impressed with Darren. Thank you!

A large tree fell on my truck almost totaling it :( I was referred to Gerber from a friend, Ethan went above and beyond from Start to finish. He got my truck in quick dealt with my insurance and kept me updated through the entire process even FaceTiming progress of the truck! When the truck was finished it looked brand new! I could not be happier with my experience with Gerber and Ethan! I highly recommended them.
Wonderful service! Had a collision and there was glass all over my car. Even though insurance deemed the car a total loss they still cleaned the glass out for me and taped up the broken window. I was very grateful
This location has been awesome to work with. They did an amazing job on my repair and then after I (stupidly) cashed a check that was supposed to go to them from another insurance company, they let me make the payment a few days later when I had the money to do so. All around great customer service experience (and the woman at the front desk, whose name is escaping me, is awesome!!) and great repair service as well. Couldnt be happier!
I have had to use Gerber on Santa Fe twice in about as many months. Once for a vehicle that was totaled out, and most recently on a brand new 2020 Subaru. The entire staff is super accommodating, getting me in the shop at a time that worked best for my schedule. I dealt with Brandon the most and he was exceptionally professional and clear about what repairs would cost, the time frame, and how they would deal with insurance to get it sorted. I would definitely recommend Gerber for repair of your vehicle.

We were staying in downtown Denver for one night when I hit a curb with a rental car resulting in the lower valance nearly coming off. I didn’t want to deal with the rental agency as we were heading to Estes Park for the week and I figured I would deal with it when I returned the car. Most of the auto body shops near us were closed on Saturday morning except Gerber was open until noon. I duct taped the valance and got to Gerber around 9:00 and met Ed. He was the only person there. Ed was well dressed and working in the office. He explained that the shop was closed on Saturdays and he simply manned the office until 12:00. Ed ended up getting some rivets and tools from the shop and riveted the valance back in place on his back in the parking lot! I couldn’t believe someone could go out of their way like that to help someone but please note I’m from NJ. I offered Ed cash and he refused to take it. The best part is the rental company didn’t even notice the damage when we returned the car! I don’t often post reviews and this one is long overdue. Ed, if your reading this I want to thank you again sir.
Amazing service I went down to Denver from grand Junction. The service was amazing and they stayed extra hours to help me so I didn’t have to stay in Denver several more days really appreciate it save me a lot of time and money

The hail finily caught my 2001 Yukon and needed a estimate. Brandon worked us I to the estimate schedule quickly. First he provided the estimate at no charge. A couple of body shops wanted to charge me $150 just to look at the minor damage. Secondly, he took the time to go over the repair options so we could figure out the best way to get the vehicle repaired. Now I have the info I need to deal with the insurance company. Hopefully the insurance company wont total this older perfectly running vehicle. Stay tuned...Yukon was fixed. Took a bit longer than I had Hoped. End result was near perfect. Could not have asked for more. Thank You.
This place must be under new management and the service is atrocious! Recently, I decided to continue using Gerber collision for my vehicle front bumper damage. My experience was awful. The new manager made it apparent customer service, and basic office operations are not his priority.1) Upon the job completion inspection, I noticed the bumper was not not flushed or properly aligned right. I was told the reason I would have to bring my vehicle back was they were after market parts They had to get parts from dealer. This information came from one of the workers. I drove car home, once it got dark i tried the fog light it was dimm, and didnt match the other side. Looked cheap, I wondered if this was an after market light bulb to.2) I was told when I brought it back it would take only 1 1/2 hours to fix I decided to stay in lobby and wait..kept waiting..no interactions, no status update..nothing.. from no one. I stayed from 930-1:20pm. So much for a quick fix it was a long 4 hours in a place that lacked basic customer care.3) There was no tending to this lobby, or ensuring that clients have a waiting room thats presentable and clean. The place was pretty dirty with dead bugs, dusty chairs, boxes stacked in view, old water bottles on tables.In my opinion this new manager needs some training. Maybe equip him with the proper tools to effectively run an office enviornment that can mirror the company standards. Client satisfaction, customer care and effective communication need to be established, implemented, and be of top priority. Even during the COVID 19 crisis, customer care should not go down
Wow. I never thought someone rear ending me would be such an easy experience. Every person I interacted with at Gerber was totally professional and pleasant. I dont know what they do behind those doors but the people who work there are genuinely happy to work there. Debrah was so helpful in taking me through the process, the guys in the shop answered all my questions and Johnathan did excellent work. My car looks brand new. And when I forgot my groceries in the rental, he left dinner with his family to make sure I got it. Im totally amazed by these people. I hope I never get in another wreck but if I do, Im going here.
Gerber Collision & Glass on Santa Fe Drive in Denver has done great work and provided quality customer service to me twice in the past year and a half. The first time, someone backed up in traffic into my drivers side door while I legally crossed the intersection behind their car. No hint of the damage afterwards. The nearby rental car agency sends an agent to take you to get a rental car straight from the collision shop. The second time, someone put a downward gouge in my rear tire drivers side tire panel with a shovel or a ladder. Again, damage gone, great customer service. Im very happy with the work done, the people, and their attitudes toward their customers. The prices are fair. The estimates are clear. The labor is relatively transparent. Unless something changes, my work will always come here. Thanks for providing quality and good service.
I have never encountered a compassionate person in the car industry - these folks COMPLETELY understand that I just was in a wreck and were decent human beings about being sensitive to that fact.Im a USAA guy and they gave me choices where to take my newly smashed car. I saw the other reviews and can honestly say I made the right choice. Gerber Corp should be incredibly proud of the fine folks who work here. Decent, honest, trustworthy.

Tried to set up a time to get my car fixed, insurance company already has the estimate done, and got nothing but arguments and justifications from the gal there. She needs a different job. They are even a preferred provider for my insurance company. Should have been a simple transaction, and turns our somebody else will get the work.
Avoid at all costs. Taking your car in will turn in to a drawn out dilemma.Took two cars in. Took almost a month for a two week job. Over buffing the paint added on one week. On both pick ups, they asked for only half of the deductibles then aggressively called saying that the full deductible wasnt paid even though receipts show they asked for only half, with no remaining balance. Not very professional.GM made a hand shake deal that he Didnt Keep, to make up for the inconvenience. Take your car else where. Ive had autobody work done before, and this was by far the worst experience. If the reason why I took my car in wasnt so traumatic, I would have pressed the issues further up their corporate ladder and the BBB. The way they conduct business shows no pride in the work they do, and they have no concern for customer satisfaction, or for correcting their mistakes.
After being told by my local Morrison Gerber that they werent accepting collision repairs for six months, I called the Santa Fe Drive Denver store and the wonderful woman who answered explained that because of the recent hail damage, Denver area Gerbers werent able to take new repairs for months. BUT, she asked if our Subaru is operable (it isnt) and then she volunteered to ask the manager for advice. She actually cared that we would be without our vehicle for six months. Turns out the manager (Ed) recommended I call the Boulder Gerber and we had our repairs started within a week. Thanks Santa Fe Drive Gerber!
My experience throughout the process is disappointing all around. They under quoted on price and turn-around time. Had to get my insurance company involved two different times to get things moved along. I took it in to have hail damaged repaired. Heres a list of items that werent repaired when I got it back.~ Screw/clips were not replaced for front grill.~ Hood did not come with fire retardant shield my original hood had.~ No hail damage was repaired to any of the 4 doors.~ The plastic piece that sits behind my back left-side window was broken.~ The inside plastic trim for my sunroof no longer fit securely.~ Car was not washed or buffed out so new roof and new right fender were clearly newer pieces than the rest of the car.~ Didnt put roof rack back on.Beyond the poor quality of work the manager was less than sympathetic. She told me the hail on my doors was not hail damage even though the original estimate indicated hail damage on all 4 doors. She told me it was expected that the new pieces of the car would look different from the rest of the car. I disagreed since they told me differently before the work was started. The only time she was nice to me was when she called me back to politely ask me to hold off on filing out the customer satisfaction survey until they could have a change to fix all my issues. When my car was finally ready to be picked up I went in on a Saturday. There was no one there except a guy I never met before. The entire place was empty and the lights were off. Im not sure how I was supposed to give a final write off on my car in a dark empty warehouse. I dont make it a habit of picking up my car in dark warehouses where Ive never been and dont know anyone. I expressed this to the manager who again didnt think anything of it. Had I know I was picking up my car under those circumstances I wouldnt have shown up.Considering the first question Gerber will ask you when you walk in the door is is this an insurance claim? I felt my insurance company was ripped off.I would not recommend Gerber Collision.
I brought my car for estimate here after I was in an accident. They completed and sent the estimate to me. This location couldnt get me in as soon as another location. The second location said they didnt have my estimate, and had *me* reach out to the first to send them the estimate, something they could have easily done themselves.What they also failed to mention, which I feel is important, is that they have a liability policy which prevents them from working on cars that have been totalled, whether it be due to damage or age of the car. They never told me once, except for the Friday before my Monday appointment, that if I planned to stick with Gerber for the repairs, they would not be able to complete them because of this policy.This is extremely frustrating, and I feel this should be one of the first things clients should be told.

I have used Gerber on Santa Fe on two occasions and cant say enough great things about the customer service as well as the job they have done on my car. After calling several body shops last fall when I was hit by another vehicle, Gerber could actually give me an estimate and complete the body work before some of the others could even schedule the estimate. Ed at Gerber has always taken excellent care of me - from timely communication to good solid advice about dings and scratches. Yesterday when I went in to get an estimate on a few minor body issues that have come from my new driving daughter and various parking lots, they ended up polishing the car and giving me a car wash - no charge! I wont go anywhere else for car care.
This place is shady. They gave me one estimate and then submitted a different estimate to my insurance company that was $1,100 lower, but when I asked Ed, the GM, about it, he told me they had submitted the full estimate and that State Farm had adjusted it. When I called State Farm, they confirmed that they hadnt adjusted anything. When SF called Gerber, Ed told them the shop gave me an estimate before they knew I was with State Farm and before they had a work assignment from the insurance company. Both of which are untrue. Every time I spoke to Gerber, I told them I was with State Farm, and State Farm processed a work assignment the day I scheduled the appointment. When I arrived for the estimate, both the receptionist and the service man knew I had a work assignment from State Farm, because I ASKED them about it, and they said they had received it and knew that I was with SF. Having the general manager of a company lie to me and then to State Farm concerns me and makes me unwilling to do business with them.
Ethan, the general manager of this shop is refusing to repair my vehicle back in the original conditions in which I dropped it off. After incorrectly repairing my bumper, his shop scratched my driver side door and Ethan is now refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor and refusing to fix my vehicle back to the condition it was in before his shop added additional damage. DO NOT WORK WIT THIS SHOP.

The folks over there at Gerber have had to take care of me much more than I would like, thats for sure, but Ive had a great experience every time. They keep you updated on whats happening with your vehicle throughout the process and never make any decisions without fully involving you and making sure you are comfortable. Theyll even give you a ride home if you need. Thanks Gerber, but hopefully I wont see you again anytime too soon!
Brought car in AFTER an estimate was done at $500. Waited 3 weeks to have their NEW guy tell me its going to be $2600 for a extremely small bend on a screwhole, which did not obstruct the car from any of the repairs currently, or longterm. Also after telling them that I am NOT using insurance and I will pay cash, they go behind my back to try and get a supplement from insurance. Very shady, avoid them as there are plenty of honest shops in CO!UPDATE- Owner has not tried to call and make this right. I am adding a photo of how my car was returned. They didnt even put it back together correct! Here is proof of their work.

It was a long wait to get in - about 2 months. They worked hard and kept me updated throughout the process of the repair. It took a week longer than projected, but thats okay. I did have to go back a couple times for some sub-par repairs (light bulb out, spoiler wings not taped on in correct area - and there is still a rattle of some plastic piece in my rear hatch whenever I close the hatch door that made it past QA - Im just too tired to take it back in to get it checked out). The GTI badge wasnt put back on the rear hatch either, but I actually like the way it looks. Body work is hard work; I just wish they would have gotten it done right the first time.The manager of this location, Ed, was good at responding to my concerns. I just wish that the other members of the customer service team had responded to the emails we had been sending back and forth instead of ignoring them.They seem to have good reviews of easier jobs completed, but I would go elsewhere for more complicated ones. If you go to this location, make sure you ask for Ed.
Repaired my Jeep and always kept me updated, you guys provided excellent service and I would highly recommend this shop to people looking for professional service and quality work!

Sad. They really do good work, but the extra 3 small hail dings on the hood were left un-repaired. Paid $1300 for the auto body work and paint. Nice job. Too bad they didnt complete the no-charge items. Was told to come back and they would take care of it after the hail season.Now all of a sudden they want me to come in for an estimate. BS......THAT WASNT THE DEAL. It would have taken ten minutes to try to pull them out. If not possible......no big deal. Oh well, Ill get it done elsewhere, but I wont go back. Teaches the old lesson that if it isnt in writing, dont believe it.

I have had to use Gerber on a couple of occasions through company van who uses ARI. ARI also uses Gerber National Glass which then schedules from Illinois with the local Gerber Collision & Glass.1. Gerber National Agents clearly dont want to take detailed notes. In fact as soon as I was giving someone direction detail the agent said no,no no the driver will call you to get them. I really didnt get confidence from the get go that Gerber National Glass was worried about this going right.2. They didnt have the part. And supposed to be in Saturday possible but not definite it would arrive in time to dispatch Saturday. If it doesnt I tell agent to make sure the dispatch is first thing Monday if thats the case.3. Saturday get call and they have it buts late so going to Monday as previous. I again tell agent to make sure the dispatch is first thing Monday if thats the case.4. Monday and I start calling Gerber at 9am. They say they will reach out to Driver and then to me. I have not received a call.5. I finally get a call at 10:30am from driver. He is 70 miles away on another job and wont be there until 11:30am at the earliest.6. I told him to do the best he can and told him about first thing on previous points. Things arent going good.7. At 11:45am it starts snowing. I get call from tech who arrives at 12:15 and he says he cant do this due to safety reasons. I then restate this has been extremely frustrating and poor experience.8. He assures me he will rescheduled and load to him for Wednesday as it was due to snow throughout Tuesday.9. I havent heard from that driver. He isnt there first thing on Monday. I reminded him of this ongoing saga of 5 days and I get a call from another driver. That driver calls about 9:30 but he is working a job that he just started and is also about 60 miles away.10. He finally comes late in the 4 hour window after 2 previous windows were missed on other days. He completes the windshield.11. 2 days after this a got another rock hit my windshield. I called ARI and I found all along their call queue bypasses ARI and goes straight to Gerber. So even if you have a complaint... well its Gerber and nobody seems to listen. However, I schedule another repair and ask for Morning on Saturday. I got a call that the driver was 60 miles away and wouldnt be here until 11:30am....12. Who cares how this really finishes at this time as I haver written this at 3:15pm and still havent seen the tech. If you can avoid it dont use Gerber. If your personal time doesnt matter and you are OK with the story behind the scheduling and failures go ahead. Im just glad Im not personally paying for this.

Brought my car here for rear bumper front bumper hood fender they have the car twice as long as they were supposed to brought it back to the satellite shop with a scratch in the brand new painted fender and a tail light hanging off took it back for another week brought it back with the tail light hanging off the windshield fluid didnt work and the front right headlight there was no gap between the fender and the headlight the plastic was touching the metal is not supposed to do that when I got in the back they havent replaced any of the clips that hold the rear bumper on and denied even being in the back of the vehicle when I called them on it absolute worst customer service Ive ever had the guy called me a liar and they took their insurance money and just ignored me I would never take a car to these people ever again would love to give them a negative star rating
I wall in and wait for service and no one helped me for 10 minuted while people who work there just look at me standing at the front desk. One guy is checking his gmail while 2 others sit and talk. Multiple people wall in and out the garage without even seeing if Ive been helped. Very poor customer service.
