They had a kiln available, I ordered it, and within days, the kiln was delivered beautifully! Im very excited to get started, and I highly recommend using them for your clay-making needs! They were direct, took photos of the kiln packaged, made sure I knew it was being delivered, and called me to make sure I knew it was going to arrive. I just purchased my first kiln. I bought the Olympic 2318HE. When my kiln arrived it had minor exterior damage. The integrity of the kiln may not have been affected, but Chad was very helpful and pleasant about ordering a new one. When the replacement kiln arrived, Ryan delivered it to my home, and was very helpful and informative about how to set it up, as I plan to do that on my own. I am very pleased and excited to get going. Everyone, from Lynn who first took my call, to Chad, and then Ryan have all been professional, pleasant, and helpful. I couldnt be more pleased! I love this store Ive always been treated well here even when I dont know what I want lol. Chad is great he always offers to help carry out my stuff along with anyone else who works there . I think people who just like to leave negative reviews are a product of there privilege. I hate going to continental clay because they were very rude to me when I had issues fixing my wheel and the vice president of the company told me that if I bought my wheel from them they wouldve moved faster on repairs .So I broke up with them and started coming here because the clay is fresher the people who work here are more tolerant and genuinely love ceramics too which is something I appreciate .So before posting a negative review remember that there is always going to be someone to defend this company because they are the only homegrown clay company in colorado so buzz off .

Completed an order on Amazon for pottery clay to be delivered to my home, order placed February 11, 2021. Tried to contact seller Feb 24, 2021.....no response. Got automated email; Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping and we had to cancel your order. the package is being returned, and we will issue a refund within 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed. Despite what the owner states, I never received the full refund. Never got a replacement. I had to dispute charges on my American Express Card. That portion of the charge was refunded. A portion of the payment was completed with an Amazon gift card. That portion was never refunded. Owner states that they will issue a refund if you will kindly remove your negative feedback. Just had a wonderful experience with Rocky Mountain Clay. I had ordered 50 pounds of clay through Amazon and when the post office lost the package they quickly got my order back out via UPS. Magically the other package arrived and I wanted to to make it right and called up to pay for the 2nd order. I spoke to Lynn the owner and she told me I keep the other package free of charge. What wonderful customer service. I will gladly be back to shop here in the future!

I was unable to receive clay from the usual school distributor and was terrifyingly low on clay. I called Rocky Mountain Clay and was greeted warmly and professionally. I was able to place an order and receive 2000 lbs. in a few hours. The delivery person was also professional and positive. I look forward to using this local company in the future.

Update: making my third materials purchase right now. Still wonderful customer service.Really lovely customer service. These folks were super responsive when I was having a quote done for a kiln. Ended up not moving forward with the kiln purchase but will definitely be buying supplies from these guys because they were so great.

FREE local delivery... love it. Customer service is premium with special attention to schools. I ordered my clay on Monday and received it the same week!. I recommend CT3 low fire white clay cone 06. Their stoneware clays cone 8-10 are premium, which I use for my personal use. Loving their clay called CN1.

He came to the main office to announce his delivery and I asked him if he would mind driving to the other side of the building where the Art Classroom is and he was so accommodating! He drove the truck up to the door and brought it all in and put it away for the Art Teacher. We have never had such great service before.Thank you for going the extra step to help us. Showed up to address during their business hours at the pick-up time stated on my order confirmation. Door was locked. I called and left a voicemail. Left. Got a call from a lady there who seemed pleasant. She told me that my order was left in an inconspicuous spot for me to pick and that I should have received an email with those instructions. I acquiesced and said I would come back to pick up my order. She then said something to the affect: you will be on camera, so please only take you order and no one elses order.First off, message sent does not equal message received. In other words, dont assume that if you sent me an email, that I received it. I left work early and drove 45 minutes to pick up the order (waste of time). Ive since searched my email and I dont find any email with those pick-up instructions.Second, maybe it was because I was already irritated but I didnt appreciate the insinuation that I might steal - that I needed to be reminded to only take what I paid for.For my part, I would happily pay more for outstanding customer service.

Rocky Mountain Clay is the best classroom clay I have ever used. I have tried clays that have been shipped in from other states and do not like the quality. I have been using Dover clay cone 7-10. A+ service. It is nice to see a local business that supports their customer base in such a great way. Communication is superior and not sure i have worked with another business with the level RMC has. Everyone I have worked with is very personable. Products that I have tested seem to be great. I work mainly in Mid fire clay and the ash is great and a great alternative to other brands in that cone 5 area. I have so far used the Soldate 60, ash and willow with great results. Also RMC has a Parker location pickup which is awesome and much closer to me then the Denver location. I am looking forward to working with a business like this to grow my art(mission) and I know they will do the same on their side. At this point I am pretty much using their products exclusively based on excellent service.
