Antique Furniture Repair is my go-to-place for furniture refinishing and recovering. Ive had the following refinished at Antique Furniture Repair: dining room table, dresser, highboy and nightstand, coffee table, Mid Century wooden loveseat and Heywood Wakefield desk and chair. They constructed and upholstered and installed a window seat. Ive also had other upholstery work done there: dining room chair, a Mid Century chair and a loveseat cushions. Ive been 100% happy with each piece that Jose and his brother have restored for me. They are perfectionist and among the nicest people you would want to give your business too.

I had two pieces restored here. They were my wife’s childhood rocking chair and rocking horse. I had a tight window of a couple weeks that I wanted them done before her birthday as a surprise. I was very happy to find Antique Furniture Repair. They gave me options to have it restored exactly how I wanted it and also had it done right on time for her birthday. I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again in the future if I ever need a piece restored. You should have seen the joy in my wife’s face when she saw them and she absolutely loves how they turned out. It actually made her cry. My 17 month old daughter loves them too and plays with them every day.

Spectacular work! I am a researcher by trade so frequent review sites, Angies Lists, BBB, Tom Martino, etc., but recommendations on antique furniture repair businesses were nearly non-existent. Quite frankly, I took a bit of a chance trusting the familys 100+ year old furniture to a business I knew so little about... But, wow, are we impressed!!! We paid $3,000 to move an antique dining room set from Maryland to Colorado. One chair was busted into 5 pieces, another 2, and the other 3 chairs needed stabilization. Both of us were thinking there wasnt a chance that the one chair could be repaired. Its like new! And stable! You cant even look at the chair and see where it has been repaired! He guarantees all of his work. If I didnt see it for my own eyes, I wouldnt have believed it.

Ive taken two different pieces of furniture here to be fixed and both of them look wonderful! You cant even see where the repair was done, it looks like new. Jose does really good work and for a fair price. I definitely recommend this place.

I had two antique chests I inherited from my family, so I was very careful about who I selected to repair them. Each chest was very, very wobbly, and they needed to be taken apart and re-glued. Antique furniture repair was exceptional. The chests have no visible marks of having been repaired, but they are completely sturdy. They took very good care in delivering and moving the pieces, too. Very polite, professional, a pleasure to work with! I recommend them highly and will definitely use them in the future.

Great job repairing our highly decorative carved hope chest, and fixing the trim pieces on a very old cherry chest of drawers. Very friendly, high quality work!

Jose and Andres are wonderful to work with. They are very friendly and professional. Their workmanship and artistry is amazing. They worked miracles on our 1920s dining table and chairs that had a lot of sentimental value. They picked the table up and delivered it when finished. They even made choosing the fabric for the chair seats super easy. I would highly recommend them to everyone! You can trust them with your most cherished pieces of furniture!

I put out six requests on Yelp and Jose was the first and best response. I had heirloom rockers from 1965 that belonged to my mother...so it was very important to me to have them done right. Jose answered all my questions. Affordable. Decent turn around. And - most importantly - impeccable work.

Old desk chair had a loose are (missing a dowel) and was cracked where the dowel connected it to the arm. AFR repaired and you cannot even see where the crack was. Excellent work!!

Jose and his brother Andres can do so much more than just repair antiques. We had a couch that we needed to cut down to fit into our vintage Airstream. Not only did Andres come up with an great solution to remove an arm of the couch, they also figured out how to tailor cut the back to make it fit without losing any of the sleeper space or the look of the piece. Brilliant! We have also seen them create a custom head board to a designers specs. Very nice work!!

I was impressed with the quality of work; admittedly I was a bit skeptical at first. We asked for 5 Danish chairs and a furniture support to be fixed (legs were coming apart, and the stringing on the chairs as well) and they were done in a way that exceeded expectations thoroughly. Highly recommended for all work of value (it was not cheap, but very much worth it).

Jose and his partner did an incredible job! They were the lowest bid we received on a table that was brought from England in the 1800s. By the time they got it, it was missing pieces, warped from sitting on a family members back porch for over 20 years, and broken from bad movers. Jose was the only bidder who offered to come to the house to inspect the table in person (the day I called), and he also picked the table up.Antique Furniture perfectly replicated the missing pieces from the table, and it looks brand new! I know this table will be in my family for centuries to come because of their attention to detail. Thanks Jose!

Our puppy chewed the legs of my husbands antique rocker passed on to us by his grandparents. I took it to José and he worked his magic. The rocking chair is fully restored, you cant even tell there was ever any damange. José and his brother were also every attentive and provide great customer service as well as being fine craftsmen. I got a quote within 1 business day and anytime I called or had questions their response was always prompt. The price was reasonable and it only took them a week to fix the chair. I was also pleased that the time and cost estimate did not change. I will definitely go back if needed.
