Design House and their staff are top notch. They renovated both bathrooms and took out two walls in the kitchen to make us have an open concept. It is amazing! We love all of it.We removed our garden tub to make a large shower with a bench...it is fabulous. I wish we would have done it years ago. Terri was our designer and she is the sweetest with great ideas...many I had not thought of. I would highly recommend her and Cindy. Lauren kept the schedule going..I appreciated her too.We would definitely use them again.

Kelsey was instrumental and professional in assisting us in the selection of materials and the entire design concept. Design is not our strong point and Kelseys skills made up for our lack of design sense. She made the process flow smoothly with fabulous results. Meagan Nelson handled all the scheduling and logistics expertly and was always available to resolve scheduling issues. All after the fact issues were handled promptly. The entire staff works as a cohesive unit. The Master bath project is next on the agenda.

This was our mindset going into interviews for contractors. However, ask the tough questions, look at reviews, and do not feel you are being the hard customer when work is not done to your satisfaction. All business have room for growth. The Design House is continuing to grow and we hope honest reviews such as ours will be considered when a business is seeking to truly improve.

We hired the team at The Design House to do our master bathroom remodel and carpets throughout our house. Cindy was our sales rep that helped us through the design process. Being new to home ownership, and further home improvements, it was really helpful to work with her to scope this out.The install went well - to have the tiling, flooring, and granite countertop needs and installs happen all under one roof. This made the hand off between the phases smooth. We were impressed with the project timeline as we got all this done in less than a week.We have since had their team replace flooring at our office and they did an excellent job there as well. We love our new floors! Rachel was very helpful and easy to work with. We were so amazed that the installation crew completed the whole house in less than two days! They were very professional and efficient. We visited a lot of flooring places in the Dallas and were quoted some ridiculous prices and installation times! We were so glad to find Carpets Plus and support a local business. They also have a great selection of brands to choose from, unlike other places which only offer a few choices. Our new vinyl plank floors have been great and our new puppy is a fan!

The design house replaced the carpet in our home and re-tiled a bathroom floor. We were very happy with the whole process. The employees in the show room are very helpful and knowledgeable. (They have a huge selection of samples). I was worried about choosing the right carpet style and color. They have large samples of their best-selling carpet on their show room floor so you can really see what the carpet is going to look like . (Its scary to order thousands and thousands of dollars worth of carpet only seeing a small sample to go by.) It gave me confidence that I was ordering the correct color by having seen it in such a large sample size . Terry came out to our house in a timely manner for the measurement and estimate. The Design House estimate was considerably less expensive than the other estimates we received (They even beat Nebraska furniture Marts price) The installation crew which was led by Juan, was wonderful. I definitely will hire The Design House again. What a pleasant experience.

Terri was great to work with. We had our backsplash done in white subway tile. Their customer service was great when we had a few small issues pop up after installation. Terri called and came by our house to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend them.

We have used Carpets Plus for both of our home remodel projects. The first remodel was in 2013 and was our master bath remodel. The second was the rest of our home. This included our kitchen, guest bathroom, floor replacement, installation of can lights. etc. - that occurred in 2014.I cannot express enough how highly I recommend Carpets Plus and Cindy in particular. We had our master bath completely rebuilt and our kitchen remodeled. Kelsey was the designer we worked with. She was so helpful with the process of choosing the material. We recently had our kitchen completely remodeled by Carpets Plus. I have never experienced a smoother project. Everything, from the start to finish was as promised. The salesperson we dealt with was Cindy, and she is good. She helped us decide, and pointed us away from things we might later regret. The end product was an awesome kitchen/breakfast nook. My husband and I built our home in 1996. Our home, upstairs and downstairs, greatly needed updating, but we also wanted to create a totally new downstairs. We had general ideas of moving walls, changing room entrances, adding a built-in entertainment center - MAJOR renovations. We have had two major remodels on our 25 year old house in the past three years, both done by Carpets Plus, both sold to us by Cindy Platt. First were granite counter tops throughout our kitchen, then earlier this year, in prepping our house for sale, we had Carpets Plus re-carpet our loft and upstairs bedrooms. I think anytime a customer returns several years later to the same company for a pretty major outlay of cash, its a good sign they were treated well the first time around. Both jobs looked great!We are now selling that house and moving into a new one, but not before Carpets Plus puts down 625 feet of wood flooring for us. By the time this third call for a remodel came alone, we had the drill down pat. We made one call to Cindy, told her the location and what we wanted, and except for picking out the pattern, she has taken care of everything else. Carpets Plus even worked with us on the budget we set to insure we got the best product for money spent.We have only been to the store location twice, and their granite storage facility once. All the rest of our communications have been with Cindy. We like that. A one stop shop. We already are planning our next remodel job and its a tiny one in comparison to what theyve done for us in the past.That wont matter to them. Cindy already told us to call her when that time comes around. We will!

Loved everything about the experience and service while having 4 bathrooms remodeled! Cindy Platt was the best, so knowledgeable, friendly, and accessible while planning and during renovations (even when I kept adding on projects). They have a HUGE selection of products, and she was able to guide us when selecting materials. All of the service crews were top notch in workmanship, accountability, and service. Having a one-stop shop for all products (cabinets, tile, glass, flooring, plumbing, electrical, etc.) was such a relief. Steve Kantak is wonderful! The shower is gorgeous! The price was a little more than I was planning on spending, but well worth it.We were choosing tile for a renovation of our master shower. Id looked online and wed made a number of trips to the box stores and didnt find anything to our liking. I finally decided we needed to step outside of the box. I looked online and found 4 possible stores with tile that I liked. I told my husband that I wanted to go to Carpets Plus in Denton first because I was interested in looking at some tile colors from their website.Fortunately Steve at Carpets Plus met us and he helped us find a tile that we immediately fell in love with and we purchased it on the spot. I am so pleased with the new shower. It turned out beautiful. We wound up with too much shower floor tile and were even able to return it. Steve went above and beyond to make sure we had just what we wanted. One more satisfied customer.

Carpets Plus recently completed several tile remodeling projects in our home, and we couldnt be happier with the results. We replaced the backsplash in the kitchen, the tile floors in 3 rooms (foyer, pool bath, and master bath), the floors and tub surround in the J&J bath/vanities, and completely remodeled the guest bath including converting the tub to a shower. We are absolutely thrilled with the way each room turned out. Cindy Platt was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from sales through implementation and wrap-up. She provided guidance at the beginning of each project with design and tile selections and remained involved throughout construction until all work was completed. Cindy and the field supervisor, Bill James, provided critical follow-up and were instrumental in making sure all our concerns were resolved at the end of each job. We worked together over the course of several months, and they always made us feel that it was important to them that we were satisfied with the outcome. I think it would be unrealistic to expect no problems or misunderstandings to occur during construction like this. I don’t measure their success by whether or not any issues arose but rather by how they handled them when they did. Carpets Plus worked with us on each room until everything was done to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Carpets Plus for small and large remodeling projects. Cindy, Bill, the support staff, and their construction teams did a wonderful job for us.

Sadly I trusted this company for a bathroon remodel. When you see the contractors wanting to do things the correct way and sales person wanting it different you end up with a mess. Shower doesnt drain correctly, ripples in paint, small holes not filled in before paint. A big mistake was to pay in full before job was completed. I will not refer or use this conpany ever again.

Called to get an estimate on a stair runner. The lady on the phone was completely rude, condescending and impatient, although I was only on the phone with her for about 5 minutes. She was literally huffing and puffing on her end of the phone. For some reason she assumed I knew exactly how the process of buying carpet from their company worked, and seemed very annoyed when she realized I didnt. After feeling completely belittled, I told her I was not interested. I dont care about the quality of the work as the customer service was the worst I have ever had.

Would definitely recommend Carpets Plus for any remodel project, large or small. We had new flooring, granite countertops, cabinet refinishing, stone backsplash installed. They even lowered our bar top and built a cabinet for our utility room. They have an extensive selection of products and Cindy Platt did a wonderful job of helping us with our choices to get the look we desired. She also did a great job of communicating with us on a daily basis. Our project stayed on schedule and the installers were professional, on time and cleaned up well. It was so nice to have one company handling the whole process, we are very pleased with the results!

Did a Master Bath remodel as well as having Vinyl Wood Floors installed, stairs carpeted, and tile on the Master Bath floor, shower and bathtub surround. The flooring and tile crews did a fabulous job. Every crew that did work was great with the exception of the plumber (Stritmatter Plumbing) who was rather destructive. The plumber didnt install the tub correctly, wouldnt drill the holes for the handheld shower, cracked the acrylic on the tub when trying to reinstall it correctly, broke the toilet base in the powder room when removing it, and when all was done and we were able to use the tub, we noticed that the faucet trim work on both the shower and the tub werent level. In spite of all of this, Carpets Plus was great on working these problems out. We worked with Cindy Platt who did a great job of helping us pick tile, carpet and flooring. She also managed the project and did a great job of getting the job started on time and finished it ahead of schedule. Highly recommend working with Cindy and Carpets Plus, just make sure that you use a different plumber.

We did a whole house update two years ago this summer using Carpets Plus. The project involved total painting of the interior, carpet upstairs, kitchen and bath countertops, new faucets, backsplashes, entry porch tile, french doors, installation of new appliances and sinks, and several glass cabinet doors. Since the project had many overlapping layers we were delighted to have Cindy from Carpets Plus assigned to coordinate the entire remodel. The budget and timeline she played out for us was accurate. She paid attention to the details and was on site almost daily. We felt that she cared as much for our remodel as if it were her own home. Her design expertise is flawless! Our experience was wonderful and we will use Carpets Plus again for future remodeling needs.

Worst customer service and on site supervision of any company in Denton county. I recommend you take your money and business elsewhere. Great products but the worst install and follow up possible. Rachel can sell the product but the guy named Chris that says he runs the place and has no idea what happens on the installs. Good luck with warranty work. How they were an honarable mention in the Denton paper amazes me.They suck.

Kellie Restivo was our fabulous designer and we couldnt be happier with her fresh, modern ideas for our rather dated looking kitchen. From start to finish the entire kitchen renovation moved like clockwork. It was a big job as we had lots of old-fashioned wallpaper and border to remove. The walls needed to be texturized and painted. We opted to keep our old oak cupboards and Kellie suggested painting them a creamy white. They were badly scraped and dented as they were 20 years old. The sanding and painting crew were so meticulous. The drawers and cupboards were sanded down and painted both inside and out. This took 3 full days but all the tiny nicks and flaws were gone! We decided to go with Kellies suggestion of painting our island the same sea salt color as the walls and it was a perfect subtle choice. The countertops were just gorgeous! We decided to do a combo of recycled glass and quartz. The glass tops were rather busy so it made sense to do a bit of both. Again, kudos to Kellie for her spot on suggestions. When our friends walk in they cannot believe that this is the same kitchen! It is light, bright, airy, elegant and looks larger somehow. My husband and I are thrilled with the results. The whole job was executed flawlessly by a well-oiled dream team of true Craftmen! We are so proud of this room and look forward to using Carpets Plus for our Master bath and several rooms of flooring in the years to come.
