To slow preparing the orders, and the cash registers were unattended, had to wait on line to much time on both sides, getting Serv and at the cash register .the food was ok, not exelent but ok.

Has Indian stuff back from the day! Bar soaps for washing clothes, fruit salds, Desi mangos, assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables. Theres a ton of Mexican spices and pots and pans as well. Coconuts for pujas can be purchased here.

I shop there for most of my meat and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is always courteous and helpful.

3rd time buying meat here and it was spoiled. It’s smells sour right out the bag.

I bought 2 lbs of marinated beef taco meat yesterday. There were bits of old meat mixed in, I verified by tasting a piece of cooked meat that had a off flavor so strong I had to spit it out. I then smelled the bag and could easily detect a rotten meat smell. I saw discolored pieces mixed in which rendered the bag unusable. I can’t say it was on purpose but it most definitely is because of poor food rotation/management.

The al pastor tacos at the little Cafe inside are amazing! Some of the best in Denton!I dont buy meat here anymore to take home becuase it seems like they mix in their old meat with the good meat. I have picked it apart at home, both raw and cooked and seen, smelled and tasted a difference.

INCREDIBLE that they didnt have a SINGLE PERSON in this store to speak English!!! Youre in N. Texas...there are plenty of bilingual people out there!!! I speak Spanish but to have to speak to conform to your business is the most ABSURD thing I have ever experienced!! Youre in the U.S, speak the language...you would be surprised at how much more money you could make!!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. They lack cashiers and the cashier they do have are not well trained. I stood in line for a very long time and while there I observed that in the kitchen/ restaurant area I saw a lady wearing gloves but she was picking on the food and putting it in her mouth as she was serving. At a time like this were it is crucial to be clean because of the virus this is unexceptional. Not to mention that same lady was then asked to check me out. So she checked me out with the same gloves she used to touch the food. She then proceeded back to the kitchen area with her gloves and I told her she needed to change her gloves and she basically said she wouldn’t have to if she didn’t assist me. Very rude and definitely will not be returning.

First of all my husband always comes here for fajita meat. After this last incident today we will no longer be coming back. Not only are they dishonest but the level of customer service should be rated 0. My husband purchased over $60 worth of meat. As he was being checked out some how his fajita meat didn’t make it into the bag. When he got home there was nothing in his grocery bag besides the chicken he bought. Not only did we search our home and cars just in case he left it around in those places we called to see if the bag was left at the register. The person who answered the phone was also rude and they claimed that the manager wasn’t there as well as the cashier who rung him up was also missing. The woman on the phone had him on the phone for 20 minutes before she could tell him there’s nothing they can do. Not only should the cashier had stopped him before he left the store but the fact that when we called ahead to check the customer service or lack there of was appalling. Our family will no longer be coming to this store ever again. And we will be sure to tell our family never to come here again as well.

Do not buy chicken from this place. I bought meat and chicken twice and both times the marinated chicken & wings were spoiled!! Be cautious and smell your meats before you pay and leave the store!

Im not sure what disappointed me more if it was a food or their customer service at the food counter. Overall for the food it was not worth the price as El Rio which I havent found one store around here has way better food at a cheaper price. From the Dallas area I travel a 300-mile radius and I have stopped at several locations and I must admit this one is a disappointment right off the back. 😠👎

Friendly helpful. Got fajita meat on sale.Grilled up nice not too spicy hit of lime taste. Remember cut your strips against the grain of meat to maximize tenderness.

Sorry I cant give a zero. Friday I was in there. They were not busy. I was totally ignored. I had to ask for everything. The cashier was too busy on her phone to even say Gracis. My English didnt have enough accent and my skin wasnt brown enough. I will never do business with these people again.

Visiting the area from Indiana, we were excited when we saw the store so we stopped expecting a great experience. We were deeply disappointed. We were looking for large bags of medium grain rice and all we found were small 2 lb. bags and as I started putting several in my cart, I noticed the bag on the bottom had bugs in it. The rice looked old and it was evident that it had been laying there for several months. Next we pick up a package of Sopapilla mix and noticed it had expired 4 months ago. So all packaged foods were old and expired. Then at check out we asked for a bag of ice and were told the ice machine outside was broken and we would have to go to the meat department to get the ice. The staff should had done that for us instead of making us and several other customers wait on my husband as he went to get the ice. I would NEVER recommend this store to any friends or family who live in the area!

Ive shopped at these stores all over. I usually buy large amounts of meat for the crew. They always give onions and the cilantro with it, but the store in Denton tx does not. I will nevera visit this store again. They have lost my business over a dollar worth of vegetables vs $90.00 worth of prepared meat.

Such a disappointment ! I ordered pan de muertos for my class, I am a teacher. We study and celebrate Dia de Los Muertos. I spoke with the manager and told him what I needed and he told me that he had it and would hold it for me until this morning. I called yesterday mid-morning. He told me that Ana would have it ready for me when they opened this morning. So, I showed up at 6:30am and she didnt have it. She acted like she had no idea, but knew that Id called the day before. She found some bread in the cooler that was hard as a rock, and was rude about it being the same and all that she had. They had some smaller loaves, however, when I got there another customer was buying them. Whats sad is that its important to me to teach my students about Dia de Los Muertos, a Mexican holiday. And, now, the Mexican grocery in town completely let them down and ruined the celebration that they have been looking forward to since they were younger, knowing it was part of their 8th grade Art curriculum. Next time Ill stick with La Azteca!

Very bad service the food I ordered was made like days ago very bad payment in the vague and what to wait for the cashiers to come in the delivery of lousy food it took about 10 minutes for them to attend us and give us the crap of food they have .
