Great shop... My wifes bike was in need of help... The attendant was very helpful in identifying the possibility of how to make the bike a little more friendly to use... I recommend them.
The bike feels amazing. Thank you so so so so much. Yall are amazing at what you do!
Great local bike shop! Amazing to work with and they actually spend time to talk with you about any questions you might have. Great service and prices! Thank you!
Honestly picked this shop because of the shop dog. I was greeted immediately, not by the dog. Yes I was a little disappointed. Guys helped me out quickly and had me ready to go, but... Doggo came to say hi! Super lovey pup, I’d honestly go back just for pets. Thanks for the help.
The employees are such kind and helpful people. I’ve been in twice for repairs and they always pay close attention to whatever is wrong with your bike. Their services are very reasonably priced as well. I’m always stunned by how low my bill is after service. LOVE THEM ❤️
Went and got my scooter tire flat fixed here and it was a fantastic experience. super fast, super affordable. definitely recommended
Great small bike shop with lots of classic bikes. I went in looking for a rare brake part. I was not surprised that they didnt have what I needed, but I did appreciate the effort they made looking through their stock of old parts to see if one was hiding somewhere. Thanks folks for giving it your best!
Great experience. My chain kept falling off because of my derailer. They adjusted it in 10 minutes. Bike is working great again.
Great people and service!
Took two bikes in for tune ups and some minor repairs. My bike needed new grip shifters and the wrongs ones were installed causing the derailleur to skip between gears. I called several times asking if I could come in and have this remedied. No one would return my calls so I went to another bike shop and had the shutters replaced with the correct ones. I spent $200 at this place for bad work.
Rolled in with my bike, greeted by the dog himself (so cool and chill) looking for a bike lock and some sort of bag to better carry my bike tools and miscellaneous stuff. They were super friendly and helpful. Even took the time to chat me up and figure out what my goals were with the bike as I am slowly transitioning into a commuter. Love that they are local and very down to earth. Definitely got a customer for life in me. They have some sweet bikes too...new or used!
I cant recommend a better bicycle shop. They have a very competitive fee for fixing tires and have done a great job every time I brought my bike in. Lots of options from a tire fix to complete system overhaul.
I have been going to Sprockets for a few years now and have always been treated very well. Brandon and his staff are very professional and very knowledgeable. I have gone to many different bike shops both local and within the DFW area and will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend checking them out next time you have a need for anything for your bicycle. Thanks Brandon! Customer for Life.
Nice shop and friendly service. I recommend them for a tune up because its only $20 and if you ever need any replacement parts theyre cheap. Cute dog too. My only complaint might be i wish they had more variety of helmets.Update: had to come here for a tire tube replacement, and it only cost $10 for the part and install! Im highly satisfied with this place and Ill keep returning here for my bike needs.
Seriously awesome bike shop! Purchased a used fixed gear a couple of months ago and it has been nothing but great since. Maintenance and part replaces are always stellar work by them and relatively quick as well. Staff is of course friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
They have a nice selection of things that i always need to change out but one problem they dont prices on the items. Which means I dont buy. And how much is this, how much is this, whats the price on this, just hate doing that. I usually drop 200 to 400.oo when i shop. Gah! Left housing cable on count. Next time put things in a bag. Counter was a crazy mess of things. Guess you get the item for your bike.
Nice people, nice store, nice customer service, but bad actual servicing of my bicycle.I purchased their 40 dollar tune up to fix some noise issues and bought a chain to replace my worn out one. I got the bike back and the gears were totally messed up, and my front brakes lines werent even clipped in. Makes me wonder if they just slapped a new chain on, and called it a day.
I was in and out within 30 minutes and they replaced tubes on 2 bikes! Great service!
Great shop, highly recommended for repairs or bikes of any kind!
The guys here are super helpful, they know their stuff, and theyre always very friendly! I personally bought one of their Sprocket Rockets and it comes with 1 full year (free) of service, which is great because I lack the tools to do adjustments myself. The bike rides amazingly, I get compliments on it all the time! Couldnt be happier with my purchase. :)
EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive been in the shop the whole staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The owners are amazing. And come on - being able to take bikes out for test rides is incredibly helpful.Five stars people, five stars!
First off, I went into the store based off a friend telling me about his excellent experience w/ their staff and pricing.I went into the store around 11:15 AM trying to get fitted for a bike and looked around, now keep in mind I do not know anything about bicycles. The guy helps me out and we find a nice cruiser bike for 200$, I asked if they could do 150$ cash today. He said yes.I took it for a test drive before I purchased and it seemed nice.I get home about to head to my 12 oclock class and as soon as I take one big pedal, the left pedal just breaks off as I go head first and crash.I take the bike back the same day at 12:30 and ask if I could get my money back, he said they take 15% off since I purchased it.The guy seemed kind of ticked off when I asked for a refund.I do not understand why a used bike shop wont give a full refund for someone who purchased a bike an hour ago.The worker didnt even offer another bike or anything .
I dont usually write reviews, but these guys are great. Went in and they were very friendly and understanding and worked with me to find a used bike suitable for my larger frame and smaller budget. Even threw in some replacement grips for free, and bikes you buy from them have a 1 year service warranty. Havent ridden in a decade, took it out for a spin this afternoon and had a blast. Highly recommended!
This bike shop freakin rocks! I went in there looking for a few sprocket gears and the guys went out of there way to help me find what I needed. Great products and Great people! Highly recommended! This is definitely the first place I try next time I need anything.
Brandon isn’t just my bike guy, he’s my friend. Or at least he always hooks it up like we are. That why sprockets will now and forever have my business. He’s fair, unique and handsome!
I had mine and my husbands bikes tuned up and tubes replaced there last fall. Ive only ridden mine (is that correct grammar?) a few times since then and it has not shifted correctly nor do the tires hold air. I have to inflate them every time and the back one is very low after a short ride. The people were very nice, but Im disappointed in the work. Will try another shop.
Stop looking for another bike store. This is the one. My fiance and I had went in here first since we always see the store while walking around the square. Everyone was super friendly and insanely informative. We checked out the other numerous bike shops in town and found both their selection and customer service wanting. My fiance got her bike first, switched out the handle bars and had them wrapped with tape on the same day. Instead of buying just any bike as I had in the past I heeded their advice on sizing (Im a big guy, apparently Ive always road undersized bikes and have had telltale injuries for that fact) and had to wait only a couple of days before new stock arrived and OMG its the best ride ever. Pricing is more than fair and everyone there is super patient with novices like myself. Big thanks to literally everyone there.TLDR; dont waste your time or money at other places. This place rocks.
Great shop, easy to deal with . Brandon is a really great guy and very knowledgeable on vintage bikes. Love that they give old bike a second chance.
The owner and all the employees are so friendly and helpful. Im new to biking, but they helped me find a bike that works really well for me, and they are so helpful and knowledgable with repairs. They are even willing to teach you as theyre working- and if you buy a bike from them you one get free year of repairs! Ive asked so many questions and they have answered them all with SO much patience. So thankful I bought from them and not a private seller. Yay sprockets!
Everytime i require help with my road bike, Brandon always gives the best service with knowledgeable conversation. Buying a bike over 200 dollars gives you free service for a year, an unbeatable deal.
Great bike shop, fair trade-very happy with service.
Went there today to get my back tire fixed, they noticed my breaks were messed up and just fixed it right away for me! Awesome prices, friendly staff, and really quick too! When my front tires goes I will most certainly go back to have them fix it! They are located right off the highway and close to campus so it is really convenient to get there no matter what direction.
Very quick and easy service with pleasant staff (including dog 🐕). Would recommend to a friend and will return in the future!!
I love the selection here! Really affordable but still high quality - the people who work her love what they do and that makes this place great
I bought a bike online (Trashbar) and I needed help with assembly, as there was something wrong with it. I was a little embarrassed taking it to a bike shop but the guys at Sprockets made me feel comfortable with my Nashbar purchase. They had it assembled and corrected in no time and it didnt break the bank. Now my wife has a bike that needs to be tuned up. Going back to Sprockets this week!!
Great store. Knowledgeable staff. Awesome custom builds.
Staff are some great people, they know bikes every which way!
Great people, great inventory, great dog. Nice place.
These guys are friendly and accommodating. Its a great shop for people who are interested in riding, but are not super knowledgeable on bike terminology. You wont every feel talked down to. Costs are super reasonable, especially if you compare to other bike shops, and they will take care of your bike if you run into any future problems lickity spilt.
I pass by 6 bike shops on my way to sprockets. Doesnt matter how big or small the job is, they do the best work
They let you take the bikes out on the square for a test drive...awesome! After few rides a bought one.
Fast and courteous service. Bike looks like new.
My bike was stolen from UNTs campus, and these guys helped me track it down! Great people!
This place is usually great. But ive bern sitting here waiting for them to open for at least 30 min and over 20 ppl have walked by trying to get in. If your gonna be closed on a Saturday at least put a sign on the door saying so.
Received a Groupon for a deluxe tuneup on my bike. Went in to drop it off, there were at least 5 people in the shop and no other customers but no one came forward to offer assistance. So after 60 seconds of this strangeness, I say So Ive got a Groupon for a deluxe tuneup. One of the guys comes over, asks for my name and number, gives me a ticket. No questions, nothing. I say, please call if you find anything that might need additional work or replacement, I havent ridden in a while. He says OK. I leave. The next day I get a call that the bike is ready. I drive over to pick it up. I ask, Any problems? and Im told no. The bike went into the shop with squeaky brakes, trouble with shifting smoothly and cracked tires. The bike came back exactly the same way. Heres what the Groupon Complete Overhaul was supposed to cover according to the Groupon information:Degrease and lubricate derailleurs, brakes, and chainAdjust brakes and gearsInflate tubesTrue wheelsService all bearingsFull wash and scrub with waxingInstallation of tires, handlebar tape, derailleur cables, brake cables, and housings if necessaryNone of this was done, apart from the bike being wiped down. It certainly wasnt washed, scrubbed and waxed. There was dirt in all the joints of the frame and the handlebars were untouched. No recommendations were made for replacements/upgrades, even though I requested them and (I later learned) clearly needed some. There was no change in the ride quality of the bike after this service. I still had difficulty shifting, brakes still squealing - nothing changed.Several weeks later, I took my bike to Bullseye Bike Shop in Denton, where it was made clear that I needed new tires, new brake pads, serious adjustment to the gears and cables, and that the bike had not received any sort of maintenance service recently. To be clear there was no bad-mouthing or competitiveness from the Bullseye guys, they were super-nice, didnt comment negatively on my bad experience over at Sprockets when I related it, and didnt try to up-sell me.I realize that Groupons can bring in tons of business and that service staff might be overwhelmed, but that doesnt excuse this - especially considering that the store was empty when I dropped the bike off. Still, if they needed more time to do it right, they could have told me. Then I would have spent my money on replacements/repairs/adjustments At Sprockets instead of with my new friends at Bullseye. So actually this crap experience was a plus - and Bullseye is right around the corner. :)
Very friendly and quick service -- big thumbs up!
My son 🚲bike🚲 was perfect
These guys are the ONLY ones who I allow to work on my bikes... Great work at a more than reasonable Price!!!!
Super cool group of people.
Great place with a really great owner, bicylcle lover.
Fixed my kids bike. Only charged $8. Will return.
Best bicycle shop in town.
Very quick and helpful
