Amazing selection and customer service, but everything is a little more expensive than any other shop. Worth the extra to get that special product you’re looking for.

This place is an unexpected little slice of heaven. I can find more delicious craft beer under this tiny little roof than I can at Specs or Total Wine. They carry all the limited releases and hard to find beers that youve hunted for other places and just cant find.

Love the selection, and they are always helpful. The staff is amazing. I left my pocketbook at the store today with my medication in it. They held on to it for 5 hours until I realized I didnt have my medicine. There are no words to describe how much it means to have places like this with such integrity and care. The clerk refused my offer to give him a tip, saying he was just happy to help.Before today, I would rate this hole-in-the-wall a 5/5, and now its a 6/5! Thanks Midway Mart!

My favorite place to take people visiting/new to the area. No one is ever prepared for the awesomeness that awaits when you walk through the doors of this small, unsuspecting location. The selection is incredible and Shaun is too!

Honestly I usually do not have any issue going here; i have been many times, it is very convenient and decent prices. However, tonight I went and the place smelled strongly of incense. It was very off-putting and I was trying to kindly let the lady working behind the bar know in a joking way, as I know one can get used to the smell of something and not even realize how bad it is. I then asked if I was able to buy something here as it didnt look like a cashier was present, there was only the lady behind the bar. In response to this, the lady asked if I was on drugs, why I was acting weird, and was giving me a hard time. I was a bit shocked by this as I have never had someone act this way towards me, so I explained the situation and she continued to accuse me of being on something... very strange considering I had obviously just gotten done working out. So I just left since its easier to just go to the 7/11 down the road and not have to deal with something like that. I usually do not make any reviews for anything, so the fact that I would take the time out of my day to mention this goes to show how crazy, strange, and unprofessional the whole situation was. I will give this place benefit of the doubt and assume this was a one-off circumstance, so I rate three stars.

Love the specials. Reasonably priced, and the shop owner is so friendly, always offers to get refrigerated beer for us from the back when we pick up warm ones. So sweet!

Midway Mart is small but mighty in its selection of beer. It’s perfectly situated to stop by for a six pack of something tasty. They offer both the standard domestic varieties, but the staff does a great job of keeping some choice local options in stock. They even have a small selection of wine when you find yourself in a pinch and dreading having to deal with Murder Kroger’s parking lot.

This store is a little rough around the edges but has an incredible array of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. Their prices are a little steep, but the convenience far outweighs the extra pennies.

A long standing staple in Denton. Very friendly, down to earth staff. A HUGE selection of imported beer you can buy by the single. Also a huge selection of organic non-alcoholic drinks, like ginger beer, yerba matte, and energy drinks.

Too many damaged items, and the employees have showed their rudeness /laziness on so many different occasions, that weve decided it just wouldnt make sense to do any business with any of their stores again.Between my girlfriend, myself, and my friends, weve needed to return items on three different occasions. Allowing so many potentially contaminated items to slip by is just one sign of poor management....seeming not to care is another.One guy told us we should bag our own stuff, another protested about having to get out of his chair. The manager (possibly owner) was in a habit of telling us what we should or shouldnt buy. Since there are so many other stores that have never had any of these problems, we simply wont be coming back.

This aint an ordinartly convenince store. The floor is taken up entirely by beer and wine racks and coolers. Huge craft beer selection, with rare brews you simply cant find most places. They even get incredibly rare beers (120, Pliny, Black Crack, etc) on the regular.Staff is helpful too. What a local gem.

Lots of beers but the space is incredibly small and poorly merchandised.

Obviously everyone giving this place high reviews are hipsters or just voting based on the fact they have craft drinks, but as a store overall it is awful. The selection of non craft things is so limited, and they charge outrageous prices for the non drink items, like snacks and even chips are double the cost of other stores. Its the only store in walking distance so we went there a lot but its honestly cheaper to uber to 7-11 on oak and pay half the cost of anything youd end up buying there with a ton more selection. Its a store referred to by MANY as an INCONVENIENCE STORE
